Where did you get the picture of the old guy and the laptop. It creeps me out every time i see it.

It was a random pic I found on the net. And the only people that have commented on it so far (besides you) said they found it amusing. Guess it goes to show we're all different..

Old miner is this for real? Whats going on Huh I been up all night. This is day trading on some serious steroids...

Time will tell but looking good atm
Everything looks ridiculously flat, but the price continues to go up!

Look at the shorter time graphs

If this is the real deal they picked a nice time to pull it - middle of the night and middle of a weekend in the US..

Ionno, I have a gut feeling bitcoin will sky rocket.

So do I. I've always held that view. We aint seen nothing yet.
3411  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much of a loss are you guys in? on: August 07, 2011, 06:41:19 AM
My cash investment is still intact. I'm about 10% down in coins (all mined) on what I had 24 hours ago. The best trading is yet to come tho.

Don't kid yourself. Noone "from Wall Street" has anything to gain from such a shallow, small market. If they are here, its probably to get a sense of power from manipulating the market, not make money.

Seeing as you completely missed my quip I'll explain it to you.

See the guys on Wall street are obvious knob jockeys which is why their financial system is so screwed up.

So..what I was saying was (tongue in cheek) in response to GeniuSxBoY's remark about how stupid the bots trading seems to be, is 'its the boys from wall street with their ass-about losing-money-hand-over-fist trading system'.

Let me know if you still dont understand..

3414  Economy / Speculation / Re: CRASH! on: August 07, 2011, 03:54:56 AM
This is brutal. Who are these dumbos placing big orders just to watch them fall?

Its the guys from wall street. Think about it. That makes more sense than it first appears.
3415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its gonna be one hell of a ride once the rally kicks off on: August 07, 2011, 03:50:47 AM

Yeah BTCs may drop to $0.00 but I really don't care.  All of the speculation is white noise to me.  I'm just here to play on the slopes.  Kind of like skiing on ones and zeros.  In the end I fully expect my USD to be gone but the entertainment value is worth the cost of a few bucks.  If I can cash out when it begins to bore me with more than I put in then I'll be surprised and will use the windfall on the next shiny object that catches my eye.

Just save a few bucks for the end and buy back a squllion coins @ $0.01c

Jesus Christ, I wish I could still talk to some of you guys without having to come to this forum and see stupidity and generalization that goes on here.

This is what happens when a bunch of geeks congregate

Business probably started with minimal capital.

Problem is people that have outlayed big on hardware wont (or cant) wait for a return on their investment. They need it now.

Who do you thinks been cashing out their coins every weekend for the last 2 months regardless of price? You can only hold the price up artificially for so long. Just ask Bernanke..
