Your up now  Grin! This will be one epic rally folks.

I think its a bit premature to be calling that.

The underlying indicators just arent there atm and in fact even $10 is standing on a very thin sheet of ice.

Though I do agree that when the rally comes it will in fact be quite epic.
3482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coincidence that 100,000 bitcoins go missing and two days later prices are at $8 on: August 04, 2011, 03:17:28 AM
This correction has been coming for some time now. I think the Mybitcoin incident is just a coincidence.

The problem with this is it goes down way too often...
3486  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's always a good idea to pull out on: August 04, 2011, 12:00:13 AM
Do you mean you sold your bitcoins @11.9 or you pulled yourself out of your shorts at that time ?  Wink

I pulled out of coins but had had a few beers last night so when I got up this morning & saw the price had dropped to single digits I couldnt initially remember if I was in or out  Grin

After my heart rate settled I then proceeded to look for my shorts...
3487  Economy / Speculation / It's always a good idea to pull out on: August 03, 2011, 11:54:15 PM
I pulled out @ $11.90 and am waiting for things to settle before I go back in.
3488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoincharts down on: August 03, 2011, 11:06:48 PM
Well I sure hope you kept your shorts...

I'll be happy if I walk away with my moustache  Grin

Yes that is soo bad... Really it is full of dissoriented people who dont even look at history of bitcoin and think totally wrong...

Bitcoin buyers, sellers, and miners are a community. An economy is built around it. Bitcoin is the currency of this virtual economy and like in the real world its subject to being overbought, oversold, overvalued and undervalued. I'm not sure what some people don't understand about this?
3490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoincharts down on: August 03, 2011, 10:40:02 PM
And why the hat, so you can cover the important bits when you stand up ?

Its cause I had to sell my shirt with the BTC price crash..
3491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoincharts down on: August 03, 2011, 10:32:28 PM
http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/ is "down for maintenance". They really should avoid doing that during periods of high volatility.

I think the sites just getting too many hits
3492  Economy / Speculation / Re: PULL YOUR SELL ORDERS!!! on: August 03, 2011, 10:28:11 PM
call me if they dip below $5!

+1
3493  Economy / Speculation / Re: damn... just sold all my btc for 8.7 and now it's 9.5 on: August 03, 2011, 09:39:16 PM
I don't think you have much to worry about. Sure you could have made more but you still stand to make a profit as the price drops lower.
3494  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I just follow my reasonable suggestion I give you and myself. on: August 03, 2011, 08:26:47 PM
I'll buy back in @ $5.....maybe...
3495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BTC Trader - open source charting and technical analysis application on: August 03, 2011, 09:52:15 AM
Ok so with Bitcoincharts if you select Avg Directional index it displays the ADX and the +DI and the -DI all in the same graph - ie they are all in the 1 study not in individual study windows. If you not sure what I mean let me know and I will post a screenshot.

Nice work btw Smiley
3496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BTC Trader - open source charting and technical analysis application on: August 03, 2011, 09:24:06 AM
Is there any way we can merge or overlay several indicators into one eg ADX, DM+, & DM- ?

Also, can our chart settings be saved in case of format or if we want to use the saved chart settings on another PC?
3497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newbie Trading Basics 101 on: August 03, 2011, 04:26:59 AM
Usually a wall supports the roof of your house and also creates enclosures to make rooms.

Another brick in the wall?
3498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BTC Trader - open source charting and technical analysis application on: August 03, 2011, 03:48:32 AM
So what's your opinion of it so far? How does it compare to Bitcoincharts.com?
3499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Aaaaaand bitcoin takes off! on: August 03, 2011, 03:21:47 AM
Interesting definition of 'taking off'.  Looks more like losing altitude and the ground proximity warning klaxon is sounding.

Thats how some people like to fly their planes around here  Grin
