3442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real Time Order Book with WebSockets on: August 06, 2011, 06:38:33 AM
Hmm...

I wanted to try the site, but apparently firefox 4 and 5 have websockets disabled because it could be a security threat.

Get Chrome

Ah, the plebes. As I puff on my pipe reading this fine online literature, I can recall the days of mingling with these common folk. Those were the days.

3448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoinity.org/markets - live mtgox & tradehill charts on: August 06, 2011, 05:34:11 AM
Ive been using this chart for quite some time but in the last few days it does seem down :L

 Huh

The guy who owns it knows its been broken a lot lately and posted a message on the site saying he's busy right now but is planning to fix the issues.
3449  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Mtgox being manipulated? on: August 06, 2011, 05:17:21 AM
I just watched MTGOX make a sharp move up in several hours on a good volume of coins.

Depending on what chart your looking at you might think now is a good time to buy.

All of a sudden a reversal  with microbids of coins.

Bots.

So this is a Win7 bug only?
3451  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Run of Bad luck or the new standard - Bitcoins.lc on: August 06, 2011, 01:36:43 AM
difficulty went up "a couple of days ago" - no coincidence, does it fairly regularly.
I expect longer rounds when difficulty increases.
I'd even go so far as to say thats how the bitcoin network was designed to work. Smiley

Minor difficulty increase = major income decrease

Yea makes sense...

3455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Bitcoin Channel? on: August 06, 2011, 12:34:08 AM
No new vids from this channel http://www.youtube.com/user/BitcoinChannel in nearly a month yet prior to that he was posting up to 3 vids a day with very positive references to the future of Bitcoin price?

I notice he's been on the forums here recently however. He's also made no comments on his channel or replied to a PM I sent him a while ago. Odd  Huh

3457  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Run of Bad luck or the new standard - Bitcoins.lc on: August 06, 2011, 12:16:23 AM
Lots of pools (at least the big ones) are having poor block results lately. Some say its bad luck but I find that highly coincidental. I doubt the pools are holding out on the miners though as that would require a lot of collusion. Hmm...

Then we should simply wait for the next optimism+ phases to sell, I guess?

Sell low

Buy High
