41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: April 30, 2021, 11:52:54 PM
I mean Mayweather stopped Mcgregor, and I'll admit that's probably due to the fact that Mcgregor wasted a lot of energy like he usually does, but was probably already on the decline, and losing his fire for actually fighting. However, are we really expecting a Youtuber who's only trained maximum 3 years, and probably with a lot of breaks in between to beat someone who's mastered his craft for decades? Its just unrealistic.
Conor McGregor was in his prime when he faced Floyd Mayweather and he was fight on back of his double championship belt and how can you say that he was already in the decline when he faced Mayweather, people are making excuses whenever he is defeated which is ridiculous including all the commentators and the so called pundits Roll Eyes. Conor McGregor lost to his gas tank and it was not a big secret that his cardio is his down coming and there is no chance that anyone else let alone a novice like Logan could defeat Mayweather even at 44 years.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 30, 2021, 11:28:35 PM
The problem for the investor is that no one knows when the price of the coin will reach high and, accordingly, when it should be sold. This happens with those coins whose price has already exceeded ATH and the maximum growth is no longer limited, in the event of a continuation of the bull market.
If you look at the market all the coins have crossed their all time high valuation and if you are an investor wanting to invest you need to take the risk of the market going down. Since i am in this market for a long time and i have seen multiple corrections i would say is that once the market moves above the scope you never thought possible, wait for the market to consolidate and we will see a correction but the extend is impossible to predict because it is a new market and things are different every year.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: April 30, 2021, 09:52:44 PM
What are your thoughts? Do you think BNB will reach $1k soon? If not, why? Is BNB's price sustainable? What's your prediction of BNB's price 5-10 years from now? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
What is think is that BNB is a good investment for the short term and you might even see the price reaching the thousand dollars but there are some fundamental issues everyone is ignoring in the BSC protocol which makes me believe that it will not last in the long run. In the short run make the money and get off the BNB market and do not expect the price to hold for the long haul as the problems with ETH will not last forever.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Predict $20,000 for dogecoin in 5years time on: April 29, 2021, 11:44:58 PM
Starting a speculation thread you need to have some kind of logic, you think that Dogecoin will dominate the entire cryptocurrency market and if that is the case i will gladly walk away from the market booking my profit because if Doge is able to reach $10 then i can imagine how big the other market would be and i am holding a good amount of coins in multiple currency Tongue.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Dogecoin still worth to invest? on: April 26, 2021, 11:46:11 PM
I myself have not had the courage to invest in Dogecoin because seeing an unlimited supply of coins was the hardest reason for me to invest in Dogecoin.
Even with the unlimited supply you will see the market rising every once in a while and since it is a low valuation token and if you can spare a few hundred dollars then you could make a fortune but even i never expected a rally of this magnitude even though i was holding the coin and i sold even before the coin reaching the higher echelon but i still had a very healthy profit from it.

Currently, Dogecoin is only a high hype coin tweeted by Elonmusk, I think Elonmusk is only taking advantage of Doge and investing it in bitcoin. because a few weeks ago it was proven in his company (Tesla) to openly invest heavily in bitcoin not in Dogecoin.
Elon Musk is a billionaire and that too in the top three wealthiest person in the world and you think that he needs money from Doge to invest in Bitcoin  Cheesy.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: March 31, 2021, 01:52:31 PM
Which is a better platform? Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? Please explain why.
You cannot say that in one word, the reality of the events are that the ETH is too congested and the fees are really high to send transactions and that is affecting some projects and so is the reason some of the developers are shifting to other platforms and with CZ in the helm of Binance smart chain you can expect that he will be luring developers with his promises but one aspect is true that Binance smart chain is having minimum transactions fees but what happens when it see a surge in transaction like ETH.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nigeria Central bank confusing its citizens? on: March 26, 2021, 11:56:08 PM
I guess they are now regretting the actions they took, they should have taken time to consider it. And it’s good they now know that they can’t ban bitcoin, people will quickly switch to P2P.
If they are not having a stable decision then they will confuse people who are investing in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I have seen reports about Nigeria coming up or planning to regulate the bitcoin market and if they identified that they cannot ban the market completely then it is a fair decision as they can implement those but you cannot expect everyone to stop trading all of a sudden in an open global market.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Supply Be Manipulated? on: March 26, 2021, 08:17:10 PM
Yes, it is very possible to increase the supply of the bitcoin or make it more or even make it infinite but the thing is that it is very hard to crack the code because you will also do the re-arranging of the blocks which is even the smartest people can't do that thing. So if you are asking if it is really possible to increase the supply then probably the answer would be "Yes" but it is kind of a hard job to that thing. Just think why the government didn't print so much paper money? it is because there is only fix money that we need to be circulated.
You really do not need to crack anything if you want to increase the number of coins in bitcoin, all you need is a consensus between all the parties involved but the fact remains that there is no need for the increase in the number of coins and if the developers does anything then it will affect the entire market.

When you are talking about government printing money, it was done and there are countries struggling with inflation because the government printed too much money and flooded the market.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: March 26, 2021, 06:05:05 PM
I think yes, because many platforms have implemented BSC on their platforms. BSC is considered faster, safer, and lower fees compared to Ethereum blockchain technology, therefore many platforms will switch to BSC.
You can say that BSC is faster and lower fees but you cannot call them safe because there are many variables you need to understand. It is a centralized platform and any major hack you might see them disappearing and then later of compensate the users with quarter of the coins you own and we had seen many markets going down in the past, only time will tell what the future holds.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: March 26, 2021, 04:54:40 PM
I remember 2 months ago I was involved in farming Bamboo spent 0.6 BNB, but after a couple of hours the token fell to the very bottom, I did not understand what happened, but I managed to return only 0.3 BNB. Therefore, guys, keep an eye on what projects you invest in, there are no guarantees.
If you jump into the hype you should anticipate there will be a lot of scams, you are lucky you did not loose everything and i am yet to jump into this mess as i am not too confident on most of the projects listed and as i have gone through the mud loosing a lot of money in the process but farming is another risky prospect which i might do if there is transparency in the team, if not i will pass.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any recommended altcoins for this upcoming months? on: March 25, 2021, 11:50:55 PM
I already gained from NXPS, XMR, TFUEL and THETA. Gained at least 5-10%.

I currently have 30usd, what do you think is the very promising altcoin this upcoming April and why (any projects of them in the future?)?
Just after seeing your thread i went back and looked at the price of NXPS and i was literally surprised that the price rallied and i think that is the only project that was not gaining any momentum for a very long time, now we are seeing a minor correction in the market and if you think you want to wait till it settles down you can invest in any coins in the top list will fetch you a 10% profit.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 25, 2021, 10:50:36 PM
Its a common aim or goal of most gamblers to win and only a few who are really just accepting the truth towards gambling and losses are really just the same.
If you are gambling then you need to accept the fact that you will be loosing money as well and i had dark patches and went on for loosing streaks and when that happens i usually takes a long break and mostly i will shift to another site to try my luck and that is how i did in the past and if the bad luck continues i will be smart enough to get out rather than chasing the loss, if not it will burn your wallet further rather than recovering.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2021, 10:06:52 PM
There was the question posed about is it good to purchase a tesla with your bitcoin since the amount you pay now could be worth more or less later on down the road.
Anyone who is purchasing the car using bitcoin will be users who are holding the coins for a long time and no one in the right sense will be purchasing the coin at the current price just to purchase a car. So the price does not matter and the merchant has the option to convert them to fiat. You cannot expect both scenarios, you want to purchase using bitcoin and then think about their future valuation.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going down $50k soon, what's next? on: March 25, 2021, 07:34:54 PM
I'm watching the price now and it looks like bitcoin is going down so fast, what do you think would be the next price action if bitcoin will go down below $50k?
It is impossible to predict how the market would be next month, the options might be a possible reason but the market was dominating for a long time and many lost millions in the options market and if that is the reason we are seeing a correction now then we need to wait and watch to see what the support would be as it all depends upon whether we will see further investment from institutions.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or DeFi projects? on: March 25, 2021, 04:02:12 PM
I think ETH will do very well, but I have a suspicion that certain DeFi projects will out perform eventually, even if dump much further in the next bear market in a year or so. Personally I hope to accumulate more Ether for next year by investing in defi this year, knowing that some have 10-100x potential still,What do you think?
I am expecting the price to go down eventually, right now the price is rallying and it reached its all time high valuation which i thought would take a much longer time but the major problem with them is that the transaction charges are really high and their ETH 2.0 upgrade is said to sort the issues and in a few months we are expecting the transaction charges to down and if that does not succeed then it will not be that great.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin new pre-ico project for universities on: March 23, 2021, 11:28:56 PM
It looks familiar, student coins or something similar and i remember seeing many projects during the ICO boom before the last rally and none of the projects became successful and now it is launching again and lets see how long they will survive again. I will look into the project as it looks familiar and then i will give you my review about the project.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: get a loan and reinvest it on: March 19, 2021, 09:07:47 AM
Hello. I see different platform like nexo, blockifi, etc... that can borrow you crypto or stablecoin. I'm here to ask if you have a strategy for example you borrow btc with an interest rate of 6% and then you use it on defi with 8% APR.
If you feel confident then you can do that but what about your back up plan, what if the market crashes and how you will be recovering. We can have these risky trades during a bull run but you need to think about the risk factor as well as you cannot predict what the market situation will be in a weeks time. I am yet to venture fully in this market as i have my doubts on how long these bubble will last.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] How many online casinos are you actively playing in? on: March 18, 2021, 10:48:44 AM
Many of us can/have to work remotely these days, does it mean more time for you in the casinos as well? Smiley

As we have so many online casinos, it is quite fun to try out different ones.
Are there many online casinos in your active playing list or are you loyal to just specific one(s)?
It depends on the budget but i do play in multiple casinos depending on my mood and the ease of use and i look for casinos that provide multiple coins especially the low value ones as i am not seriously looking to make a profit but want to relax and enjoy when i play and if i win that is a bonus.
I usually wage high bets only in sports and now a days major sites provide casino and a sportsbook and people will gravitate towards them.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which plan seems better? on: March 18, 2021, 08:19:25 AM
HODL both obviously.
If you are holding then you can do so till the market reverses but i do not recommend any investment decisions at this point as the risk is much higher and if your plan is long term then you cannot accumulate.

Also at what point is a hardware wallet required?
If you are seriously investing and view the market as an investment opportunity then you should spend money on securing your assets because that should be the main aim before investing since the market is not irreversible and you need to safe guard your assets.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa: We make it possible to buy bitcoins using Visa on: March 18, 2021, 06:42:06 AM
He said: We try to do two things; The first is to make it possible to buy Bitcoin with Visa credit cards, and the second is to work with Bitcoin wallets to quickly convert Bitcoin to Fiat currency so that it can be used in the 70 million places in the world that Visa supports.
Kelly believes there is "strong potential" for crypto currencies to become new payment system.
It is good to hear about these positive news but what about the banks that banned their users from using credit cards to purchase cryptocurrency. I think it is a banking policy of a country rather than the policy by Visa to not allow credit card purchases but if Visa is able to work with bitcoin wallets to shift between crypto and fiat that would be great.
