Does it really matter whether Trump administration loves bitcoin or not.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China implements new strict controls on Cryptocurrency on: November 26, 2019, 07:46:03 AM
The Shanghai Headquarters of the People's Bank of China said that in the process of promoting the blockchain technology, virtual currency speculation has gone up. Next, the cryptocurrency business activities in the area will be continuously monitored. Once illegal activity is found, it will be punished immediately, and it will be done early and prevent it from happening.
If they are looking for illegal activity and fake volumes and market manipulation then it is a good initiative by the government rather than a bad one, right now the market is recovering as i speak and it was evident that they have no plans to boost the currency part of blockchain but they will be implementing blockchain for their personal gains and hence these are not that of a surprise that they will implement strict control over the market.
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 25, 2019, 06:18:04 PM
What do you think if prices will rise again in December? or indeed after halving prices will really rise again?
Considering the current market situation you cannot expect a huge rally by the end of this year, these are testing times for bitcoin as there are several factors right now to consider than in the past, there are regulations coming in the market then there is a option market and so on so it is not the same like we had in the past but still i am optimistic with the way the market will perform after the halving.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to PANIC! on: November 25, 2019, 05:26:16 PM
I am, too.  Well, maybe more hopeful than confident at this point, since the vibe of the market lately has been pretty bearish.
I am also hopeful that the market would rise after the halving but i am not too confident with the way things are going as there are many factors this time around.

Price drops like the ones we've seen lately don't freak me out, either, but I can certainly understand why other traders who haven't been around bitcoin for years might panic--especially short-term traders who were betting that bitcoin would rise and instead were treated to a slide of a few hundred dollars.
The main difference between new investors and the investors who are around for a while they know that these kind of market situations are not that unusual in this market as we have seen more volatility in the past and as of late the market was almost stable for a while and we can interpret that the market went down to give another push.

605  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt Bitcoin Futures Set New Daily Record Trading Over $20M on: November 25, 2019, 08:01:18 AM
According to data from Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Bakkt futures trading volume reached the highest level at $ 20.3 million, or 2,367 contracts, surpassing the previous figure of 1,756.
So the exchange volume is increasing and i am not sure whether these are good signs considering the overall strength of bitcoin as these are just speculative markets and it will not boost the price like we used to see in the past and that is the only reason i am worried about how things will pan out this time after halving as we have a new speculative market which can control the price if there is manipulation by whales.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: November 25, 2019, 07:06:03 AM
With the power of women no one platform could do anything better thing, we know women are doing a lot in the household matters and they have to keep busy time in there, whatever the case is, a numerous number of women are joining in this platform day by day.
Not sure what you are implying here, there are many users in the market and it is difficult to identify the gender unless some exchanges release those data, what country you are from to say that women are busy with household matters, you cannot confine a gender to a specific space as both genders are taking care of household matters.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 24, 2019, 05:51:44 PM
There is absolutely no comparison between the two teams. Australian are the master of the game and no one can beat them in their home ground. One of the Pakistani batsmen did resist and score a century but that could not help them even. They lost by an innings to great Australian team.
Pakistan is not even a strong team to consider them win against a team like Australia, even when they had some of the best fast bowlers they were not able to win because their batting used to fail, the Asian teams are not able to bat on bouncy tracks and they have not played well in green tracks historically but India is performing well recently and they might pose a challenge to Australia and England, South Africa slipped recently and New Zealand is always a dark horse in home condition,
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 24, 2019, 05:27:36 PM
I like news like this one, it brings something different and not just talks about rematch or revenge. I don't know who is going to win between Rumble and Francis if they ever fight but I'm pretty much certain that it is going to be a knockout.
Rumble and Francis are power punchers and everyone expect this to go out in the first round but if you look at the historical fights all the hypes fights usually ends up been boring as i was very much looking for the Derrick Lewis and Francis fight as i thought it will be action thrilled but everyone knows what happened as it was a record breaking fight with less punches thrown in three rounds, despite saying this i would like to see the match up.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 24, 2019, 04:25:59 PM
I am a fan of mobile mining simply because of the viability issue and i have not heard about the coin to make a comment and i am not sure about the viability of the coin but that been said you cannot use mobile to use your resources all the time and mining is meant to use your full resources and it will bring more damage to the hardware than the profit you can make.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will the price of Ethereum be tomorrow? on: November 24, 2019, 01:48:51 PM
Base on my own perception of the value of ethereum, the value would hit as low as $130 and I think its the best time to buy and invest since the value is so cheap. Meanwhile, the user that will invest must do the best thing and will able to extend their patience to wait because I believe it will definitely a tremendous return in the future.
The big hype and the waiting for ETH 2 is coming up and i am surprised to see that some are expecting some changes in the price after that, if you have an expectation that this is the best time simply because you think that the price will shoot up after they release the upgrade. I am not that bullish in the ETH market simply because the feasibility of making a profit unless and until there are huge investments coming in and i wonder if that happens in the coming years until there is a rapid change.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs. Luis Ortiz II on: November 24, 2019, 07:35:19 AM
Fury is a funny guy  Grin Hope Deontay finishes Ortiz quickly and feels himself ready for next fight against Fury.
Tyson Fury is the best entertainer in boxing after a long time, we had some flamboyant boxers in the past and he is the refreshing fighter boxing needs to attract new fans and so is the reason he is even invited in the WWE to perform and entertain the fans.

When it comes to the fight Deontay Wilder just smoked Luis Ortiz in the seventh round and now the rematch between Tyson and Wilder will take place.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: New bill would make Facebook’s cryptocurrency a security under the law on: November 23, 2019, 08:11:36 AM
Once it is a security it is subject to all the regulations that govern securities.
Most importantly, it would be regulated by American authorities (not Swiss as Facebook wanted) if any American used Libra.
So the focus is back to regulate what facebook started and now a new bill is proposed, these corporate big shots have the power to bend the rules if they want to come up with something and i hope this is what they will be looking and the US will have major control over the project to track each and every transaction. How these regulation and the token will come out will take a long time and by that time we will have another rally in bitcoin.

614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: November 22, 2019, 05:23:41 PM
I sold some BSV for LTC through Okex.
They wouldn't release the LTC until there were 200 BSV confirmations which took about 2-3 days of waiting.
Coin of the future I tells ya and superb endorsement of its peerless security.
I have not used BSV and hence i am not sure about the delay in transaction but it looks like the problem you faced is because of OKex because of their policy of having 200 confirmation, if you are not able to have a fluid transaction in exchanges then it is highly unlikely that people will be using that coin.

@OP did you just edit the thread now seeing the price of bitcoin going down, i like the bottom price and if that will happen then i will be glad to invest once again Tongue, but apart from these speculation i am not expecting the market to go down below $5k even in the worst case scenario.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market continues to blood shed on: November 22, 2019, 04:38:18 PM
This is why I tend to ignore almost anything that the Chinese government says about crypto. It will change at some point. Just let something that makes China look bad and all of those people will be out of the crypto market. Besides the ones that use VPN's or what not to get around the ban.
No one really cares about the news coming out of China and for all the long term investors in the market have first hands experience how they used to manipulate the market with FUD when they were dominating the trading market with the huge volumes they had and once the government halted those trades all these traders move to other exchanges and you really cannot ban the market.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 03:03:49 PM
The prices are still going down after the latest bull run in which BTC crossed 11k. You can start accumulating altcoins of your choice from current price down word. Its recommended to buy when market is sleeping.
The best time to invest is when the market is going down but make sure that you are investing in the right coins if not your will end up in a long hold, bitcoin and the rest of the markets went down drastically in the past few trading days and the support is well below $7k and it is still possible that the market will go down further but there is nothing to panic and invest in the right time and wait for a couple of years to reap the profits rather than looking for short term. When you are looking for alt coins make sure you invest in the top coins that will have an impact when the price of bitcoin rallies.
617  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan 40-45K$ in the BTC(ETH) for 12 months w small percent wo collateral on: November 21, 2019, 06:21:41 PM
I am well aware that a lot of negativity will pour in now. But I described the real situation. Of course I can write 10 percent and 15, but I really do not pull them at the moment. Each product has its own customer.
The reason for the negativity is simply because the people who lend have common sense Tongue.

I have a permanent job with a salary of about 2,000 US dollars.

Loan: 40-45K USD
Time: 12 month
Percent: 2 in month with monthly paid.
Collateral: No
No collateral, you need 40 to 45k and you just earn just 2k per month and you will settle everything in an year with interest Roll Eyes, even if you want to make fun for you aka scam for everyone else you need to have the calculations right Tongue.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: November 21, 2019, 04:17:12 PM
Almost the end of 2019 and so far so good. People are still pointing out stuff that might indicate a coming crash and it still pays to be cautious.
It's not a matter of if but when, the economy just seem to have these cycles and we should just consider them to be part of living and prepare for them.
The crisis is not a cycle you should expect every other decade, the policies that are run by big bankers are the reason for these turmoil even if it happens, only bad policies and bad decisions make a good economy to crash and you cannot blame it on any imaginary cycle that cannot be avoided. If you look at the global market there are many issues and there is a definite slowdown in the economy and we all know what happened in 2008 and we are expecting for the worst once again.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: November 21, 2019, 11:50:15 AM
But another reason why many prefer to invest in icos or ieos or prefer to mine some coins is because the capital they have is simply too small to buy a significant amount of the coins that lead the market and they prefer to take the risk with unpopular coins.
There is no excuse here when they invest in stupid projects and expect a return, even if they have a small capital they can invest in some potential projects with good team or even dogecoin is a far better coin than the rest of the experimental ICO projects in the market and you can even invest in bitcoin even if you are having hundred dollars, so the idea of investing in unpopular coins cannot be justified.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: November 20, 2019, 10:40:11 AM
Bitcoin is a high risk investment whiles gold and estate are not. Why will you think a high risk investment be better than a lower risk investment ??
The risk level of any investment depends on the price at which you are entering a particular market, if you were able to invest in bitcoin well below a thousand dollars then there is no risk involved and so does gold, i am not comfortable enough to invest in gold now and expect the market to go up all the time and so is the case with real estate, risk investment rate is higher if you are investing in Las Vegas or New York but the risk is substantially lower if you invest in Texas or Colorado or any suburbs.
The reason millennials are preferring bitcoin might be the ease of handling bitcoin as an investment than the rest of these other markets.
