341  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobel Laureate asked India to print more money and not to worry about inflation on: April 10, 2020, 06:01:29 AM
the lockdowns are hardest on the poorest populations, who have no savings, live in overcrowded slum conditions, and are worst equipped for a complete economic stoppage. if this continues for months and nothing is done to mitigate their suffering, they will begin rioting and revolting and taking by force what they need to survive. with a population like india's, no police or armies could ever stop them.
It is a situation that these third world countries need to think while implementing a complete lock down, people will revolt against these lock down as they do not have money nor food and it will create a social violence and the crime starts to increase and if that happens then it will be difficult for the authorities to control the situation and to avoid those they need to act and printing money or providing food is a necessary.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 09, 2020, 08:05:36 PM
It is really discouraging to see so many projects from last 2 to 3 years that have either made little progress, lazy approach, failure to launch product or platform, abandoned or totally failed and closed. Unfortunately most of these projects were highly anticipated and people invested good money which they have lost almost entirely because there is not much hope of revival even after so many years. All projects should be transparent and update investors atleast weekly with all the updates and progress.
You are really missing the situation, scammers and others who just have a single objective to make money in a new market jumped into the ICO market and started collecting money in the name of silly projects and these developers or con artists knew very well it is nothing but a money making scheme as there is no regulation or law that will force them to return the money if the project is a failure. If you want to see transparent projects then you need to have a regulation and a standard which clearly mentions how a project can raise money and so on and what happens if they do not fulfill those.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: On May 12, BTC was at $12M (sell order) to reach a value of 0$ on: April 09, 2020, 05:34:04 PM
We are all aware of what happened last March 12, with bitcoin, which is supposedly uncorrelated to the other markets. It is supposed to be a safe haven in times of crisis (in fact this is what inspired its creation during the 2008 crisis)
These are just assumptions and i cannot find Satoshi telling that bitcoin is created because he saw the crisis and he wanted a market that could help everyone during the crisis, you are thinking too much about the situation and no one ever said that you can view bitcoin as a safe heaven and no one can guarantee that as we are yet to see how the market will behave during an economic crisis. One thing is certain though, you will not see the price of bitcoin going back to zero unless there is a serious technical flaw that could take the market down.

Why was a member thrown out of the forum's most paid signature?

11. I reserve the right to remove anyone, for any reason from the campaign.

This is the rule book if you are wondering about the reason, according to the spreadsheet Kalemder is not the only person removed from the campaign in recent months, so why so serious  Wink.

You may not be wondering about this, but the whole local forum is wondering? not only curiosity, everyone looks suspiciously, some insult anonymously
Why would you really bother about someone insulting online, just ignore them, you seem to make this as a big deal as some sort of critical situation that could destroy the entire forum.
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 09, 2020, 01:52:27 AM
The major reason can be the global situation of the pandemic coronavirus.
Pandemic is one situation and then there are other rules and regulations which is implemented in the market, the other two times we had a free market as none of the authorities was taking a particular interest because the market was new and since we had a huge rally last time, the financial sector has set their eye in this market and with that it is hard to see the market rallying until there is a concrete reason.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 11:15:44 PM
Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.
If you think that the authorities has the ability to shut centralized stable coins then the rest of the stable coins will vanish just like that, the first that will be targeted will be the privacy coins we have and i am also not a fan of USDT because they are running a shady business and so is the case with the rest of the stable coins, what these centralized coins say we ought to believe and other than that i do not have a clarity whether they really peg what they are claiming.

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.
Not heard or used these and hence no idea.

For me in the cryptocurrency space, no money is 100% safe, so is USDT. Although since the USDT was created it has a lot of bad news but it is the most widely used stable currency, and for me USDT is just a currency to avoid volatility not to invest so I do not keep USDT long time.
You can always convert your bitcoin to Dollars or Euro according to the exchanges you are trading if you really do not trust these crypto stable coins and that is how i do and that is the safest option in the market.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: April 07, 2020, 10:40:35 PM
We barely know when does this vaccines and antidote will occurs, but I think a large pharmaceutical is now having an on going development on their drugs, so let us wait for it to be available, when this happen, market will recover its losses and the coin of that pharmaceutical if ever it has its own, it will have a great number of buyers and could be an expensive one due to public demand of their goods so their coins will go high too.
The entire globe is waiting for a solution for this virus and create a vaccine but it is not that easy as it sounds, we need to have intense research to have a complete product, till then all we can do is to break the chain of spreading the virus to the masses. Even before the Corona threat we were experiencing an economic slowdown but with the spread and complete standstill of business we will definitely go to a recession and how we over come the virus and the economic struggle is still unknown.
348  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronvirus Easy Cure. on: April 04, 2020, 11:08:44 PM
It's starting to look like a Coronavirus attack happens because of zinc deficiency.
When the virus approaches me i will make sure i inform that i am intaking more zinc contents  Tongue.

Mask is not the only stuff you need to wear to protect yourself when going to grocery. Covid can easily penetrate through membrane of the eyes cells therefore the air proof goggles are  absolutely essential. They must be in a big, silicone frame to fit tightly against face. The protective glasses with ventilation aren't acceptable
Are you serious, i never thought about protecting my eyes when i am moving out, i am taking precautions by carrying a sanitizer and wearing a mask always while venturing out but i have not seen any reports saying that you need to wear protective goggles.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: April 03, 2020, 11:53:05 PM
If you are passionate about hodling bitcoin, always convert to usdt or other stable coins and be patient for a fair entry point. Because the market isn't running away
If you are trading you usually convert into dollars or any stable currency before entering again, what is the big doubt here as that is how everyone is trading. I used to trade in alt coins when it was profitable and i usually convert them into bitcoin simply because that was my end goal to accumulate bitcoin but if you are trading bitcoin you usually look for a stable coin and wait for the right opportunity to invest back again.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: April 02, 2020, 11:54:21 PM
Staking altcoins have seen a great interest by the majority of the long term investors. Even some exchanges sent a dozen mails for joining their XTZ staking contest but the conditions are not good for the small investors. Cex.io even has the staking feature but I don't think POS coins will be valuable due to the inflation.
It is a shitty idea and it will burn out in the next ten years, it is a monopoly solution where the rich dictates things and i am not going to use those coins or whatever token, initially there will be a huge rush and eventually it will flame out just like the ICO market, it looks fresh when it is new but when the small time investors or traders understand the monopoly people will find better coins which has utility.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: April 01, 2020, 11:52:26 PM
I don't think ETH will go down below $ 80, now almost all cryptocurrency prices are down.
If you are aware that the price of ETH is around $135 and if the market keeps on going down then there is no doubt that the price will go well below that.

If you predict ETH will drop below $ 80 I think you are too scared and pessimistic about the
market recently. Sorry I have a different prediction for the price of ETH which in my opinion will soon pump to a price of $ 300.
The recent market situation is not a light one as the entire world is suffering from the recent situation and there is no hope that the market will be recovering anytime soon, if the price needs to rally then you need to expect huge funds invested in the market which is highly unlikely in this situation.
352  Economy / Economics / Re: CoronaVirus USA - Open by easter? on: March 31, 2020, 11:36:49 PM
bad news everywhere. everyday it seems like there is a new "epicenter".....new york, florida, new orleans. i'm surprised the markets aren't crashing. i guess investors are still high from the promise of stimulus and bailouts?
The markets have already gone down a lot and some of the central banks are coming up with stimulus package and loan extension but the biggest question will be, when will we see everything back to normal, if the lock down is forced to continue for a few more months how will be able to cope up with the situation, things are not that great and the market will take a huge hit and i am expecting a major correction as the recession will hit us badly.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: March 27, 2020, 12:00:05 AM
Don't think so usually athletes cant do more than 1 big event cause they need months or years to prepare their body for the perfect state before a competition.
Usually none of the top athletes will participate in two major events in a single calendar year and all of the athletes will participate in the Olympics as it is the pinnacle of the sporting world and every athlete dreams to participate in the world stage. It is a loss for the sports fan and these are unfortunate situation we never encountered in our life and never expected these sort of situation in my wildest dreams and hence with changing times we need to adapt.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 11, 2020, 11:49:17 PM
Supposedly Corona Virus issue must help the Crypto market more valuable and usable because in this there is no physical contact
so using Bitcoin for Payment option must be in effect.
The value of bitcoin is not going to rise when the global economic markets are struggling and that is what we are seeing in the market as all the markets are bleeding but sure bitcoin and the major alts can be used as a mode of payment which is safe and secure in the event of a epidemic like this but i am not seeing much changes from the merchants either, so realistically i am not seeing much change now but we might see the changes in the future where the merchants starts accepting virtual currencies.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 11:55:30 PM
The market does not belong to natural mechanisms, which means it is almost impossible to predict what will happen next.
It is impossible to predict the market but we can have a guess on how the price could reach those valuation, if the investors think that there is value and utility in ETH then sure the price will rise and breach the all time high valuation but the problem is that i do not see that utility factor for ETH to dream a price rally in it Wink.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 29, 2020, 05:54:17 PM
It is not unbelievable if Ethereum can reach its ATH price again, but after looking at the Ethereum price chart this year it is not so significant and it is difficult to estimate whether it will rise high or not. but what makes me still believe in Ethereum, because I personally believe that one day Ethereum can reach the highest price again, and at least maybe Ethereum can reach the price of $ 300 - $ 400 at the end of this year.
It is a tough task to expect the price of Ethereum reaching an all time high valuation anytime soon, either they need to come up with something that could attract the investors but by the way in which they are going it is a hard ask to expect them to reach those high rally in the coming years. I am not investing in it anytime soon as i am not expecting this to move higher because the valuation is too small now to have a rally in the next one year.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: January 29, 2020, 04:21:43 PM
Indeed. If scammers didn't trick every investors and bounty hunters, i think there are a lot of successful and great projects nowadays that the world of cryptocurrency will much safer that no people will be scared or afraid from investing their in new projects and cryptocurrency.
If majority of the projects that came out was designed to make the developers money by providing empty promises then there will be a time when no one will spare the risk to invest in those projects and the entire market should be regulated to weed out the scammers and if that happens then we might see a resurrection.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Places To Hold Initial Coin Offerings on: January 29, 2020, 02:28:13 PM
I was thinking maybe like an EBay or another ecommerce platform that would help both parties minimize scams and fraud. Any thoughts?
What are you talking about, none of these commercial platform will take the risk to accommodate any scam projects and if these big corporate companies wants to come up with a business they do not need to collect money in that name as they have the funds to accommodate and experiment any projects they want. The biggest problem is always the idea of making quick money by these developers which should end.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV Could It Reach All Time Highs? on: January 29, 2020, 12:15:18 PM
Right, I think more or less now BSV is in the speculating phase and hasn't quite gone into the mature phase yet. Bitcoin Cash has been around a lot longer than BSV and has had more money run thru its systems but only time will tell of what the result will be..
The development will find the ultimate winner, which ever coin produces the best results will win the war, i am not following the developments in both these coins and hence not sure what they are planning to do, i heard there is another has war in BCH like last year and there might be a split again and there is a fork in BSV, not sure it will make any huge difference but time will tell whether people will invest in those.
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese New Year - Crypto Market on: January 27, 2020, 08:58:16 AM
the Chinese New Year is over, let's watch the direction of bitcoin will the price of Bitcoin go up or go down, right now Bitcoin is still in the support zone, if it hold I'm sure it will go up
I was expecting the doge coin market to rise during the Chinese new year but this time we did not see a rise, in the past we would have seen an rally in the market but this time around the market was silent which means anything that happens in China will not have a big impact in the market.
With halving coming up we will see a trend reversal.
