161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 30, 2020, 11:43:26 PM
yeah, Djokovic was satisfied with breaking the Federer record, and was out of motives this afternoon
happened already after RG title, when he won each GS one time, and lost motives for some time, i do not think that will happen again, it was just this tournament, and he will be good on next one, probably
Lorenzo Sonego played better tennis and won a match easily against Djokovic and it is not because Djokovic was less motivated but he had an off day and lost the game fair and square  Tongue. I did not expect this to happen and Lorenzo Sonego was rightly a heavy underdog and i bet no one placed a bet on him to win the match.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 30, 2020, 02:48:06 PM
I see Ripple as a coin that is quite stable when the price of bitcoin is rising. unlike other coins which are highly volatile. but I guess no coin that can replace bitcoin yet, even ETH.
Ripple is a good centralized coins without much volatility and there will be investors who might like those and we might see more centralized cryptocurrencies in the coming years as more companies are planning to come up with their cryptocurreny including Facebook and PayPal.
No coin can replace the reputation of bitcoin but since the core is struggling with scaling and if any of the fork coins comes up with a good solution then i wont be surprised if people starts using them.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 28, 2020, 10:49:44 PM
The hype about jumping onto the highest APY and farming the shit out of it is definitely over. As with every hype cycle, there aren't enough new people to fool i guess. Information travels fast these days. So everyone knows now not to lock funds in anon accounts and if they give you free money to build trust then you take that money and then scoot. Not take it as a signal to invest more.
Now with all the setbacks people know that it is risky enough to lock funds in anon accounts, we have seen many scams in a short period of time where developers run away one day and then return the next and it is funny to see these but then it is hard for the investors and will move the rest of the investors away from the market.

If you are looking to invest in real business with real products you need to look elsewhere away from the cryptocurrency space Cheesy.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: PayPal to open up network to cryptocurrencies on: October 28, 2020, 10:02:34 PM
PayPal is going to allow buying/selling and even holding crypto on their platform. They will also allow merchants to accept payments with crypto.
PayPal is accepting cryptocurrencies but you cannot withdraw those coins as per the users who used them and the PayPal team has not answered to the queries whether they will be allowing them to withdraw in the future. When you purchase cryptocurrencies in their platform you can only hold them or sell them.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 28, 2020, 06:52:25 PM
~
Yes you're right. We may see some good correction from here. Many experts said btc may move after touching lower low to higher high.
We might see a correction before the big rally and i can only tell by the way in which the market reacted the last two times after halving, months of struggles breaking the resistance and then having corrections many times and then the market just skyrockets as if there is no resistance at all. This was the experience in the past but i am not expecting similar moves but still a rally is around the corner.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 28, 2020, 03:19:56 PM
I think the market's confidence in USDT is beyond doubt.
I have mentioned this earlier in this thread itself, the market confidence of well known traders is not beyond doubt, if you ask anyone they will not trust USDT as a stable coin that you can trust in the long run, we know the issues they faced in the past and if reports comes out that they are having issues with the amount pledged as collateral then the entire things comes down. I am not telling it will happen but you need to understand the risk and the possibilities too.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 28, 2020, 02:19:35 PM
Yes Q4 of 2017 and Q1 of 2018 was the golden year for crypto. We have seen many records on that year. Every single coin pump a lot that time. But this is not the end. I believe we will see this type of Golden year very soon again.
If there is a golden year for the entire market in all aspects, we saw much bigger scams during that period and no one should forget those, including ICO scams where millions of dollars are duped and then there were the ponzi coins who had much support from some sections of the community. If you are expecting another golden year expect the scams popping up left and right and we are seeing those signs with DeFi scams.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: October 27, 2020, 11:58:07 PM
stable coin guarantee is indeed quite difficult to understand. However, as a bounty hunter, there are many choices of coins. Can be used as a lot of opportunities. But you still have to be vigilant and careful in choosing, without promotion, in my opinion, it will not be as popular as a promotion.
It is not a Pandora box to understand the basic of a stable coin, they keep the equivalent amount as collateral either in fiat or other asset and there you have a stable coin but demanding those as bounty you are not going to get especially if you are joining any token projects bounty as they want to promote their project rather than giving you a stable coin Grin.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 26, 2020, 11:59:52 PM
Exactly we are on bull market now at the moment .The whole market is going through on bullish except few useless coin .I think market will carry this momentum at the end of the year if there is no tragic moment happen .However i thinks its a real back of the market and i am so happy with that .
The bitcoin market is on a bull for a few months and that is nothing new. I am expecting minor corrections along the way and you cannot predict how the global economic situation will be in the next few months and not every country is free from the pandemic, so anything is possible and if you invested when the market gave the opportunity then having the patience to hold for a year will not hurt.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 26, 2020, 11:28:14 PM
I don't use VPN for trading, personally I always classify it as tunnelling application which can be compromised by the providers, implication of using it is that vital information of the users can stolen like passwords and other valid documents, although my country allow the of cryptos thus giving me  the freewill to trade and transact it.
If you are using a free shady VPN then you have a point that they could have a backdoor and steal things, never install anything that is shady because it is free. When it comes to trading there is no point in using a VPN when you are submitting all your credentials to an exchange if you are trading with them. Even when you are trying to trade from a banned country most of the exchanges will not allow you to trade as you will never pass their KYC.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 25, 2020, 07:05:35 PM
In this pandemic period I got too much leisure time and I spend it with crypto. As a result I earn so much from crypto.
So my portfolio is better than before.
If you are able to make a good profit during the pandemic then you are awesome, i am yet to jump into the recent hype until i am able to grab the consequences and i did not make any investment during this period but as a long time investor and miner in some of the altcoins i have my stack and waiting for the big rally in the alt coin market to book the profit after a long time.
172  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 22, 2020, 10:12:12 PM
I was a victim of this fraudulent activities in the past when multiple entries under my username enrolled in a campaign and even though i was reporting it to the campaign manager at that time they did not take any action for the longest part and i was fed up and stopped participating in campaigns altogether but now they are asking for proof of authentication in the campaigns i enrolled and that is the only way to counter these scammers.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: October 21, 2020, 05:36:03 PM
Trilogy matches I know are not mandatory matches, correct me if I'm wrong. Apart from Wilder's side requesting a rematch, I have heard that so far there has been no response to his own challenge, there is news that Wilder has been injured after his last game. But if it's a match there will be, I think great. Wilder needs proof he is just unlucky and Fury is making preparations before the match with Anthony Joshua.
The boxing contracts are really weird, Wilder had a mandatory rematch clause in the contract and so is the reason he invoked that immediately. As a fan i am not too keen on watching the trilogy now but it is what it is as the big ego of Wilder will not let it go and in my opinion he needs to fight other talents and then return because a loss against Fury once again will bury his career forever.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 21, 2020, 03:40:56 PM
P.S : I did play the game again after a few days and recovered some of the $. But this time I quit the game while I was in profit.  Tongue

P.P.S : I was conscious while I was trying to recover the lost funds and I tried only till that point where I can't afford to lose anymore. I always keep in mind the amount that I can afford to lose.
As you mentioned this is an experience anyone who gambled will have in their story. When the cryptocurrency gambling sites started to emerge 5 years ago i too spend my time in the space and the confidence booster in the recover process stems from the fact that you were able to rake in a huge profit during the initial phase and when you end up loosing you will have the confidence to recover everything  Cheesy.

I have busted and recovered in the past and with a dozen experiences i came to a realization that you cannot chase the loss and now i will never chase any of my loss, if i am having a good time i will reap the profit and most of the time i spend my time in sports book.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 20, 2020, 06:47:40 PM
One thing many pro and casual gamblers like us always look for is whether the online casino is licensed or not but do we care where it was registered?
I am gambling online for a decade and i never checked about the license they are running but whenever i choose a site i always look for reputation and the longevity and whether they had any scam accusations and what are they things you need to be careful in order to gamble smoothly. All of the fiat based sites have mandatory KYC but the issue i see with crypto based gambling sites is that they will only lock your account if you keep on winning and they will try to find a way to block your winnings and i have seen many complaints regarding that but fortunately i never had those experience and i have verified my KYC in some of the casinos.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling thoughts. on: October 20, 2020, 03:07:16 PM
Do you ever asked yourselves these things?

1. Which one do you prefer, Casino gambling or online gambling?

My Answer: It depends upon my budget, if i am having a good budget and company i would prefer a real casino to gamble, but since the pandemic and well before that i have not being to any casino.

2. How much money are you willing to spend on gambling?
My Answer: It depends on my budget at that particular time, when i am gambling online i will start with a minimum of $10.

3. How do you manage your lose streak or win streak?
My Answer: I will not chase my losses and if i am winning i usually withdraw my winnings.

4. If you will have $1000, what game in the casino you are going to play?
My Answer: Dice when online or Roulette and slots in real casino.

5. What is the best advice that you can give to a gambler?
My Answer: Do it for fun.

177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 20, 2020, 10:45:40 AM
Today read about a person winning from chips.gg having a bet value of $400, and a misclick getting him a winning amount of $19800 on Dice. Maybe some day I need to be such a high roller with high percentage of luck.
These kind of sheer luck happened for me in the past, in dice when i was rolling 9900x and when i was about to bust everything i ended up hitting the valuation which i never expected and in jackpot slots when i least expect i end up winning $400 to $700 and it is nothing big but these are lucky rolls which i never expected because i was trying out new games.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap isn't safe for newbies who don't want to learn on: October 19, 2020, 11:54:10 PM
the truth is coinmarketcap don't care, they list many new projects without caring about if they are legit or fake, tons of useless tokens are getting listed on coinmarketcap and you need to stop this madness before it's too late, majority of these coins and tokens have no volumes, stop investing on these coins and tokens, it will only end up breaking you
It is strange to hear that people will be investing in projects that are listed in CMC, how can anyone start investing blindly and expect them to make profit and this is the dumbest concept if anyone followed those, either way if new investors were foolish enough to follow that path then it is high time to think about those strategy as there are legit projects out there to invest that are proven.
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: October 19, 2020, 11:18:06 PM
Seeing the price reach its ath once again is enough before aiming for another much higher price. Nevertheless only time can tell whats ahead for bitcoin.
All these speculation of a valuation of $100k comes from the fact that the price of bitcoin rallied in the past in the same principle and that is the same percentage what some are expecting this time around, how it can follow the same percentage is still a puzzle for me but crossing the all time high valuation is not a big deal when the market rallies and that is the least expected value we should expect by next year.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mixer Penalized by FinCEN for Violating AML Law on: October 19, 2020, 09:49:52 PM
Today the FinCEN has fined the owner with $60 million USD for violations of the Bank Secrecy Act, unregistered money services business (MSB).
In short, for not being registered with FINCEN and didn't ask for KYC to customers.
(Yeah sure, a Bitcoin mixer with a KYC verification)
These are scare tactics by the authorities so that the mixers that are running the mixers should close their doors and move on, if not they will be coming after that and it is a clear warning they are giving by fining the owner $60 million and no one would want to risk that much to run a mixing service when the authorities are after them.
