121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: December 15, 2020, 11:53:39 PM
There was a time when everyone thought that the price of ETH will surpass bitcoin before the last rally in 2016 but then bitcoin just move higher leaving behind every other coin and now i am surprised to see that some are thinking that ETH might surpass the market cap of bitcoin in the next 10 years which is highly unlikely.

The possibility is you should assume that bitcoin would go down in valuation in the next ten years and that is impossible to imagine at this stage.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Surpass ETHEREUM SOON?! $589 per XRP💥🚀 on: December 07, 2020, 11:59:38 PM
Not even in a million years you can dream about the price of XRP crossing the $10 valuation let alone challenging the ETH market price. If you are talking about the total market capital then they are pretty much close and with the unlimited amount of coins for both ETH and XRP i wont be surprised even if it might come close to the bitcoin market capital during 2017  Tongue.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 26, 2020, 01:19:54 AM
Your mind divided? wow, I think it is not your mind to be divided but your focus on the game.  Cheesy
By the way, I also prefer a single bet. Besides can focus on it, we also have a lower risk for the loss. While if you choose multi bets, you have more risks to lose more money although at the same time have a higher chance to get bigger money. However, it likely relies on your luck, I won't take a big risk on this kind of game.
The risk factor is always there if you wage for a single match or multiple matches, if you are talking about betting for heavy favorites then it is a different story and i do not always play like that. I would usually go for huge parlay with big odds and wage a small amount and even if you loose you are not hurting much but if you are lucky enough you could land a fortune and i usually make those kinds of bets most of the time and i have won those a few times, it is all about luck.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Ripple (XRP) Soared 140% This Week to Reclaim Third Spot From Tether? on: November 25, 2020, 10:22:26 PM
Any Big Reason Behind the Big Improvement of XRP. Your Opinion?
The entire cryptocurrency market was rallying for the past one month and that helped the Ripple market as well and they recently announced about Paystring and then the team is doing buybacks and a collaboration of things might have helped in the rally and from an outward perceptive i was not keenly on XRP and when the market started to rise, you cannot neglect it and hence i made a decent profit and booked my profit in this short period.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: November 25, 2020, 07:45:39 PM
Now that there is already a vaccine , could it be the end of covid- 19 virus? How are you after one year of covid-19 pandemic?

There is a saying," Behind the Clouds the Sun is still Shining".
The vaccine is almost in stores and it will take some time to get to the general public and there is so much testing to be done to be deemed as safe for everyone to be vaccinated. The pandemic ruined many lives and we are all living in a new circumstance but until we reach the solution we will see more of the same situation and the country where i live announced a shut down once again Undecided.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is fine to support Bitcoin Cash. on: November 25, 2020, 04:20:05 PM
This forum is filled with a lot of toxic bitcoin maximalists. Bitcoin was created to be a peer to peer currency but we have this narrative pushed by people like michael saylor that its not meant to be a currency.
Yet we are able to send bitcoin at a low transaction fees and it is not just a narrative, if you want micro transactions open a lightning channel and broadcast everything.

Remember newbies that Bitcoin Cash has MANY advantages over Bitcoin.
It is your choice whether you want to use bitcoin or thousands of other coins in the market and if you think that bitcoin cash is your favorite coin no one is holding you back.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Monero? on: November 25, 2020, 12:31:24 PM
What do you guys think about it? According to the structure of monero transactions (rings...) will they really be able to trace it? Or just another hype?
The claims they are making are not simple but then i am not sure how they are able to trace these transactions as there are many levels to their encryption and what method they exploited is yet to be known. For us to know whether these claims are legit we need to wait for a much longer time until someone is arrested by the authorities for the crimes they done with Monero .
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP miracle on: November 24, 2020, 01:16:34 PM
XRP really showed miracle from $0.25 to now $0.75 which is 3x higher than last 3 days ago. What a miracle within 3 days. Rank also recovered from 4th to 3rd and now tries to run after Eth. Nobody knows where xrp race will end but really fantastic time for its investors.
I am surprised like everyone where the price of XRP started to rally than any other coin in the market and there were many speculative thread regarding the price going to a dollar i laughed as i never though it will rally like that and with the way it is rising for the past one week the price has rallied 100% which was a total surprise and i am waiting for the market to touch those milestones so that i will book my profit  Cheesy.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 22, 2020, 09:20:37 PM
It depends upon the market situation, if you think that the market is going for a correction i would go with USDT or USD depending on the exchange i am trading and if i think that the price of bitcoin is going for a big rally i would sell off my alt coins to bitcoin rather than any other trading pair because you will gain a much better profit with bitcoin than any other alts.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 11:34:59 PM
If we are going to check the market then you are right, bitcoin is only the one who is in bullish by this year 2020 but let's just hope that the alts can recover in 2021.

There is still chance that the alt season can still happen like what happen in the past especially if the bull season will be triggered as right now the bitcoin is dominating the alts so we cannot probably see the altcoin season by this year but maybe in 2021.
Which market you are watching, whenever the price of bitcoin rises the entire market is rising along with it, if your focus is the token market that died off then you are watching the wrong market altogether  Tongue.
Check whether the project you are watching is dead because all the major alt coins in the market are rising along with bitcoin.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats causing the re rise of BTC? on: November 20, 2020, 10:48:38 PM
2020 Bitcoin rose because mass adoption occurred, 2017 bitcoin rose because of Fomo,
obviously 2020 is a healthy increase, we must provide support for Bitcoin, the HOLD way!
The exact same thing was heard during the last rally, the adoption was the factor that is said because of the introduction of options market and other major changes in the market and now if we call those FOMO then we are going to say the same in the next four years. The adoption is evident and there are huge investment coming in from private investors.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is for you the best Defi Project for 2021? on: November 19, 2020, 11:45:09 PM
Everyone is having a different opinion and i am not an big expert on the Defi market and i got attracted with the pump and dump and having known the market in the past and how well i am aware of the situation i thought of experimenting with some coins and i am farming some coins and lets see how far it can go and it would be fun to make some profit when the market hits the ceiling.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 18, 2020, 11:53:54 PM
It won't be like the one which we faced in 2018 but yes we might experience a low level dump in form of correction period, this time it's completely different than 2017 wherein we have not seen any sudden spike in the price to fear about one more bearish massive dump rather it has been a gradual increase until Bitcoin crossed $11k.
Last month the price of bitcoin was trying hard to break the resistance above $10k and after breaking that resistance the price right now is hovering around $17k to $18k and you think that it is not a sudden spike  Cheesy. The price has rallied a lot in the past few weeks and we might see a correction but not expecting a bug dump but it might settle around $14k to $15k by the end of this year.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 18, 2020, 10:50:19 PM
half of my expenses now happening inside E commerce since the pandemic spreads most of our foods has been delivered via online services.
The pandemic has changed many things especially the way we purchase goods and E Commerce came out victorious in this situation and many of the owners made billions while the rest of the physical store owners had a hard time making ends meet.

maybe this has no Big effect in crypto for now as we are still young compared to other digital payments but i believe that this is one good start for Cryptocurrency to at last discovered by the world and not looking as scam but as legit and beneficial
No one will have a debate about the legitimacy of bitcoin, you might have heard some having their doubts and you can just ignore them as they have no idea what they are talking about to begin with.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 18, 2020, 10:16:15 PM
actually it may be true and bitcoin can crush again before 20 k $ but this year is not the same situation , in 2017 the whole market was overbought , altcoins was already in the moon but now you can see the altcoins didnt start the bullrun yet and bitcoin is already in 20k $ , so i guess its a good sign for now
In the past the bitcoin rallied first and then we would see the alt coin market rallying and now most of the major alt coins rallied along with bitcoin and as long as the investors are confident in pumping their money in the market we will see the market moving higher. With the way the market was moving i thought it might touch the all time high valuation but now we are trying to break another resistance above $18k and in a couple of days we will know whether we will break that resistance or will have a correction.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 17, 2020, 11:59:17 PM
You shouldn't blame me from running away from any crypto project that has a nigerian as one of its members, I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though but .
No one will blame you for having to think twice before investing in any project. I will not invest if i do not have the conviction about the project irrespective of the country of origin and Nigeria has a long list of scammers and i only hate the bad people who scam people of their money which they saved and not everyone and there are certain third countries which are more prominent in this area and hence the typecasting.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 17, 2020, 11:27:31 PM
If wilder can do something to avoid being KO again by Fury then this will be a good fight knowing that they are both good fighters but I am hesitant on  whom to favor in this upcoming match as I am pretty sure that Wilder will make sure to prepare well to avoid losing again to Fury.
Both are not good fighters, Wilder is a puncher and he only look to knock the head off Fury while Fury is a fighter who knows boxing and it is big difference Grin.

If Wilder can use his experience against Fury then there is a chance that Wilder can win this fight, I would like to check the odds of this upcoming  fight as I think Fury will get a better odds knowing that he was able to KO Wilder in their latest fight.
Wilder started boxing late in his life and Fury is a boxer from a very young age and the experience factor also favors Fury and not Wilder. Fury will be the favorite without a doubt if this fight ever happens.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: November 17, 2020, 10:39:58 PM
~
I wouldn't say so. If you watched sports competitions from Japan recently, you would see that they already allow fans to watch it, offcourse only limited numbers. So, if situation won't become significantly worse in Japan until July, I think we will see some spectators allowed to visit events.
I am not following Japanese sports and if they started allowing limited number of spectators then we can assume that it is possible with the Olympics as well considering we will not see a second wave like we are seeing in other countries.

Question, will they allow foreign tourists to watch Olympics, I think it's less likely.
And even if vaccine will be fully developped until next dummer, there is no chance that huge part of population will be vaccinated until Olympics.
The situation will determine whether they allow foreign tourists and if they allow they will be living in a bubble with ample testing and other procedures and vaccinating everyone is highly unlikely but if the Japanese government wants to spend money on that or the tourist coming in can pay for the vaccine it is possible for everyone visiting the Olympic village gets vaccinated if a proper vaccine is developed by that time.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: November 16, 2020, 11:56:04 PM
The President of IOC was in Japan recently so he issued a statement that the Summer Olympics could be held in 2021 with fans being allowed to watch the game. However, he is banking on that idea that a vaccine could have been discovered next year, so with that said, the Games is still uncertain next year.
It is good to be optimistic in these situation, there is no way that the fans would be allowed in the arena if the vaccine is not developed and if there is a vaccine then everyone going for the Olympics will be getting a shot and the Japanese government will make sure that everything goes smoothly, if not it is hard to see that happening.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: November 15, 2020, 09:57:28 PM
You have to be honest, those projects who really started working in 2018 they did at least something, but 90-95 percent just raised money and did nothing! Therefore, I must agree with you that security in cryptocurrency is very important!
Majority of the projects were not transparent and if you have a market situation where you can raise money and there is no authority to check what is going on behind closed doors, these things will happen and so is the reason i would like to see strict regulation on these so that we will not see scammers taking advantage of the free market.
