861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: April 25, 2018, 10:43:02 PM
I think the market is now bleeding again, but bitcoin dominance is going up, it seems like big things will come to bitcoin, because I think bitcoin dominance is too low now, hopefully the market can be green again
If the bitcoin dominance is low then which market do you think is dominating. The price of bitcoin did not go down that much as it is well above the $9k mark and it is a really good sign as we have a good support at these valuation now, a couple of good trading days could push the market over $10k which could trigger another rally. Just waiting to see how the market reacts.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why cryptocurrencies necessary in today's world on: April 21, 2018, 09:25:06 PM
4. Volatility.
That's the bad side of crypto right now for many use scenarios.
But stable tokens are coming.
I do not find any problem with the amount of volatility we have, it is a good thing as everyone gets the opportunity to enter the coin. Grin
How do you propose a stable token, either the company has to spend a huge amount of money to buy back the tokens being sold in exchanges, if you are talking about centralized coins, i am not interested in those.

5. Speed and volume of transactions.
Cryptocurrencies will be fast and will be able to process millions of transactions in the nearest feature.
Even now you can transact billions of dollars worth of bitcoin in a short period of time around the globe.
863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy a house in Britain using the cryptocurrency Bitcoin on: April 21, 2018, 08:48:08 PM
It's good news for all crypto users. I hope more companies accept Bitcoin as payment, this will be good for price and make easier to travel or live anywhere in the world.
It does not make any difference in the price of bitcoin, if a housing firm plans on accepting bitcoin as a payment option, it is a good thing as you are giving more options to the people and since bitcoin has changed the life of many people around the world they might be targeting bitcoin millionaires who wanted to purchase property with bitcoin.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: April 21, 2018, 08:03:26 PM
samsung is the best smartphone brand in the world, if samsung join cryptocurrency will be very good because there will be a lot of positive response about bitcoin and bitcoin users will increase
It might be a big brand but there are local companies that provide much better mobile phones at a much cheaper rate than the branded ones. Tongue
It is good that they are entering the mining industry and hopefully they will come up with a competing mining hardware this year, i think Nvidia and AMD is already in works to come up with mining specific graphic cards, over all promising news for miners.
865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get Forex traders to trade in Bitcoin ? on: April 21, 2018, 07:36:32 PM
I've said this time and time again, we shouldn't try to get more people to invest in bitcoin. Because these forex traders are like any other trader, they don't care about the underlying tech -- they're going to make this a volatile currency which is going to lead to less and less adoption. We need volatility to go down if we want bitcoin to be a major world currency, NOT UP.

Forex traders should stick where they are, it's fine like this.
If you are looking at bitcoin to become a major world currency you should be open to everyone. Tongue What do you expect actually, a bitcoin market without any volatility, are you trading bitcoin because of the underlying technology and you would not care about the investment you made Roll Eyes.
If someone has any trading experience it is easy to shit to this market, just check out the different exchanges and select the best that suites you, get a light weight wallet and start trading.
866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: have great skills but no money to invest on: April 21, 2018, 06:33:46 PM
Do you know why you don't have money for trading? Because intraday trading brings more losses than profits. I have experience in this.
Why would intra day trading brings more looses than profit, i really cannot understand the reason, why you want to sell them at a loss, when there was a big rally anyone who does intra day trading could make a healthy profit at the end of the day and if the market goes down, just hold on to the coins and watch the market carefully and if the market is not showing a big negative swing just hold on to your coins till you end up in a profit, what is difficult in that.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: April 20, 2018, 06:45:02 PM
You do not have to worry, this year will be profitable in general. Even for those who invested in January.
I am not certain that we will touch the all time high valuation this year, but the market is showing some strength in the past few days and you need to have a level of interest from big time investors to have that kind of rally this year but unfortunately i think we have to wait for a longer period for that to happen, but we will see those prices in the future.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the birth of bitcoin will cause google to die? on: April 20, 2018, 05:13:52 PM
I  think that a social media platform based on the blockchain might have some level of success.Perhaps the blockchain technology might cause Facebook,Youtube and Twitter to die in the future.A search engine is just a bunch of web crawl bots, that index web pages and rank them using Google`s secret ranking algorithms.Social networks work in a completely different way and the blockchain might be more suitable for them.
What is the common linkage between blockchain and social networking sites as well as youtube, they have a sustainable business model and nothing is going to stop them, block chain can be used to build several systems but it cannot replace the social networking sites, there might be better version and people might switch them to those but blockchain does not have anything to play with social media and search engines.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cambridge targeting crypto users now? on: April 20, 2018, 02:50:38 PM
I will never invest in company tokens that have a bad reputation. Probably because I think a lot of people. I do not believe that their ICO will have success. It seems to me that they will be financed through the Russian ICO. They're probably working with them. In order to hide it, they organize an ICO.
It is any individuals right whether to invest in certain projects, they might have bad reputation but there are many projects without much vision and i do not mind taking some risk in investing a few dollars to see how the project goes, it looks like they have halted the introduction of their planned ICO because of the facebook heat, lets see what they are planning to do.
870  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader or Gamblers. on: April 18, 2018, 11:27:22 PM
As human nature, we all want to make a bunches and make it fast; too much temptation that incites us to gamble with our account.
In the end, only you can chase off the temptation to follow the plan.
Actually what are you trying to say here, are you telling that people are gambling with their investment in this market because it is not regulated or you think that the scammers are lurking to get hold of your coins ? either way if you know what you are doing and you have done the security measures needed, there is nothing to worry.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 26Million of American own a cryotocurrecy. on: April 18, 2018, 08:46:27 PM
Only 2001 people were surveyed, but still, percentages are quite impressing but still inaccurate.
Quote
Finder’s survey was answered by 2,001 Americans adults using Pureprofile, a site that gives cash rewards to users that participate in its surveys.
That is the flaw of these survey as they are not an exact representation of the fact, if there are 26 million American owns a cryptocurrency then what would be the total number of users around the globe, it looks like there are not much coins for everyone to purchase . Wink What ever it may be we might see more users with time as there will be more exposure regarding the new market.
872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: April 17, 2018, 09:26:55 PM
PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.
If you are investing your money into anything, you must monitor them constantly, i would check the market every hour and i do get notification if the market started moving up or down, there is nothing to worry if you have entered at the right price, the only thing you must have is patience. There are apps which will help you in monitoring the market and check your valuations.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls are back !!!!!!!Are you ready guys??? on: April 14, 2018, 02:54:50 PM
Forbes just posted "The bulls are back" meanwhile barclay's bank make an official partnership with coinbase, The first ever partnership of its kind in the UK. Roths child venture firm worth $3 billion have started looking into crypto currency startups.
It is a good news, but the real bulls are yet to be seen in the market, we had a good growth in the past few days but that does not mean that the market weakness is over, it is a good sign to see big investors coming into bitcoin and we are expecting these growth in the future, i am waiting for the real bull run and i have invested my share in some of the coins and hopefully we will see a bright future and touch the trillion dollar market with the next bull run.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase just added ERC-20 tokens support on: April 14, 2018, 10:35:19 AM
Just got an email from them this morning, exciting news:
“Weare excited to announce our intention to support the Ethereum ERC20 technical standard for Coinbase. This paves the way for supporting ERC20 assets across Coinbase products in the future.
Users are now able to import their ERC-20 tokens to their Coinbase accounts, after which you will also be able to trade them on the GDAX exchange.
To begin importing your tokens please follow the steps provided.”
This opens huge possibilities once again. Shall we celebrate?
Before celebrating what this mean, you have to contact the coinbase team whether they have sent any mail in the first place, i cannot see any notification from the site and before clicking any links make sure those are sent by the real team, i have seen many mail from different exchanges which are definitely spam and i make sure i never click any links to safeguard my system from virus attack.
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: April 13, 2018, 10:20:29 PM
Your token prices have fallen so fast that the market has shown signs of recovery in the past few days. Hope PXS can also rise in the short term. My token is still PXS. I didn't exchange new tokens. Can also use and trade PXS token now?
I do not think that you can still trade with PXS token as all the exchanges have moved to NPXS for trading, they have added more exchanges now and i am waiting for them to be listed in major exchanges, just check with their site, i think they have once again opened the swap once again. This is a good project and i am waiting for them to fulfill their promise and if they do that it will be a huge success.
876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Love To See People Panic Selling Of Bitcoin on: April 13, 2018, 09:14:26 PM
Don't love it too much. One of the panic sells could end all crypto! Even blockchain could be affected if BTC crash occurs. The market could think of blockchain as a pariah, refusing to deal with technology associated with a crash. Hopefully, BTC withstands and gains in value. But the amount of weak hands in the current market is just worrisome. Jeez, Binance fud, Korean fud, Chinese fud...can not see the end! All this FUD are only affecting immature market like crypto today.
I do not see a panic sell off that would end bitcoin, the tokens are distributed well and some of the early investors have a lot of coins that could change the market, even if those whales sell off the coins, more investors will jump in to get the coin at a lower valuation, i really see a healthy market in the long term and these dull situations will change in a short period of time.
877  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 13, 2018, 07:48:16 PM
@OP it is a good thought process and we might see this in the future, but the most important thing we need to understand is the transaction charges they are going to charge for these transactions, to see the world going all in for a cashless society we need more time as there are other basic problems to be sorted, even now we can get anything virtually.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Original will Support the Original Monero Blockchain on: April 12, 2018, 07:20:41 PM
why many monero have sprung up, this original monero still seems strange to me to hear, will it give a good day for original monero holders?
I am still confused with the number of said split, i cannot find those coins in coin market cap to check what to do with these coins and to know more updates about the different coins and the teams behind them before deciding on what to do with my coins in my wallet, but what confuses me is that how can they do a hardfork in such a short notice, looks like a centralized concept. Grin
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can't figure out why the price of altcoins are dropping so fiercely on: April 12, 2018, 07:00:34 PM
It will recover if the altcoin you are buying have a solid project. If you are still buying shitcoins don't expect that your portfolio will increase. Learn from the past and use your experience to gain more profit.
How did you figure out that he is holding shit coins, the market is weak at the moment but if you check the market today, we saw a sharp increase in the price in a short period, what i am doing is to hold my coins and add more coins when the price is down and wait for a recover and will keep on repeating the process.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 07, 2018, 08:09:19 PM
These forks are like Nigerian Prince scams
This is what happens if you are having a central authority taking thing into their hand, i am against mining monopoly by big time miners as everyone who is interested in it must be able to do it and hence i can understand the reason for this fork, but instead of it we have more projects with the same technology but with different principles.
