481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 26, 2019, 05:45:45 PM
Agree. Cerrone  still have a few fights in him, he is not in his retirement mode  yet, he is still willing to accept any challenge that UFC will offer him, unlike stars out there who selects who they fight. His (Cerrone) past weeks can speak for him self on what kind of fighter he is so taking a dive is very unlikely for Cerrone.
If Donald Cerrone is planning to win a championship belt he needs more rest to recover, he is fighting every now and then which will not help him, looks like he likes the term bad ass attached to him so that he will accept any fight without thinking twice and that will not help in building his career as a fighter but he will be making money but at what cost is the question. He fought for the title earlier but was not able to capitalize the opportunity and now it is really hard for him to get a shot at the title too, so i think he will be glad to take these money grabbing opportunities.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: December 26, 2019, 04:51:50 PM
I want to know will you gamble before the year-end to try to get the most before the year-end or will you prefer to gamble after the new year to welcome the year, or will you prefer to do both, I'm having second thought betting before the year-end I might end up empty-handed, coming to the new year, and I'm also having second thought gambling in a new year I might end up starting the year with a lost.
If you are that keen on gambling why not spend a small amount rather than thinking of emptying your hand  Roll Eyes. I am done with gambling this year as i have exhausted my gambling budget for the month and this is holiday season and i want to enjoy the most and when i am partying most of the time i will not bet as you make mistakes when you are high  Cheesy.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 26, 2019, 04:39:39 PM
Maybe Cerrone is the easy fight but this could be like when Ronda Rousey comes back just to lose again. Some friends told me Conor will be the easy money bet, but i'm not sure, i feel like Conor already lose his KO super powers.
Conor McGregor might not have the crazy power in 170 pounds but he has the power to knock anyone out in 145 pounds as well as in 155 pounds and he is a dangerous fighter and Cerrone is the perfect match up for Conor to return after a devastating loss against Khabib and i am not interested to watch a rematch between between the two as the result is obvious and i do not think you can land a punch like that to Khabib as he is really careful to avoid is left hand and then if Khabib catches him he will take him and tire him out.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 26, 2019, 03:36:59 PM
gold is always your best bet to gain profit in long term purpose as the behavior of gold like everyone already knows. even bitcoin is the fastest way to actually earn money but it's not that case if you can't get anything from it as the price right now is really bad honestly. would prefer to invest on gold instead in this situation.
If you are planning to invest in bitcoin, then this is the best time to invest when the market is going down and not when the market is rallying, if you are smart enough and planning to invest in bitcoin thinking that the price would always rally after the halving then you will invest in it when ever the price of bitcoin goes down and then wait for a couple of years to reap your profit, gold is always a long term investment and the safest option if you are able to invest at the right time.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many big powers agains crypto on: December 26, 2019, 01:24:05 PM
However, it's not actually clear that YouTube is cracking down on crypto-related broadcasters. This may be a coordinated mass-flagging attack:
This might be the real situation, target attacks and mass flagging can get your contents down and i have not seen the team responding why the contents are taken down and it is because they were forced to remove the content because of mass flagging and if that is the case i hope they will reinstate all the videos back and flag the people who flagged the contents, how long this will go is also interesting.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: December 25, 2019, 05:16:30 PM
i go to bahami with 3 chikitas, coctails n stuff, wohooo cant wait
It is a great plan and i am sure some started clubs with the money they made with bitcoin and i would suggest you plan something that you will have a sustainable revenue so that you can mingle with the chicks when you are business magnate rather than spending the money on the girls for a momentary fun Tongue. I did have my fun when the price rallied but i never spent that kind of money to the chicks, paid fun is always not that great  Wink.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin bubble by 2023; capitalization up to 150 times, a research suggests on: December 25, 2019, 04:20:56 PM
I would agree to most of the analysis and can say that if blockchain implementation is started then new Altcoins will be born and they'll have use cases accordingly. An Altcoin bubble may be definitely a logical thing.
What is the point in having different alt coins, we need just one coins to transact globally and we have bitcoin for that, the market will not flourish if we have a thousand alt coins to do different things and once we find a proper scaling solution i am sure all these situation will change and if the capitalization has to reach the trillion dollar it has to come from bitcoin investment and not from any other coin.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 23, 2019, 05:43:55 PM

I would agree that this time, someone for the USA will bring back the glory of 100 meters to the Americans. Tyson Gay tried before, but Bolt is really a freak. So I expect the likes of Coleman, Gatlin though is not in his prime anymore. Yohan Blake could be good to compete with the Americans but then again like Gatlin his best runs are over. I read though that there are another young Jamaican following in Bolt's foot print, but we will have to see if he has what it takes to be the next Bolt.
I have not seen Tyson Gay competing this year but you cannot count out Justin Gatlin as he won the silver medal in the recently concluded World Championship and it is not a small thing, Gatlin is 37 years old and still he is still competing defying odds and considering Justin Gatlin and Christian Coleman are in good form US can regain the 100 x 4 m relay medal which was eluding us because of the Bolt and co and now the chance is here to regain.
489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: December 23, 2019, 03:09:54 PM
Out of all the bitcoins that are mined everyday which according to,
Is around $16 million per day. Doesn't mean that those $16 million are market sold every single day.
Most mining farms are large and professional organizations and they've been mining for years and have tons of capital for electrical and equipment. Most of the farms probably only sell during strong bull markets and just hold during a bear market. Sure its not all the farms but most of them operate this way.
The reason they are professionals is because of the huge amount of capital investment required to start one and they will liquidate the coins in a strategical way rather than dumping the coins just like that as they want the market to grow to have a sustained profit in the long run and most of the sales will be done without the coins entering the exchanges.

I think with alts like ETH its different because its more retail focused, so they need to sell their ETH to pay for their 1080Ti GPUs and their electricity, however bitcoin is generally more oriented with professionals instead of the beginning retail miners.
It depends upon the kind of investment and the bank balance of the miner and hence you cannot predict that perfectly as you do not need a large investment like ASIC to purchase these GPU and you can run a decent farm without much investment in the past but now i have no idea about the difficulty level.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price be $20000 next year? on: December 23, 2019, 12:09:35 AM
I've noticed no one in this thread has taken into account the wider economy. If there's a genuine and prolonged shit I don't see a bright future for Bitcoin's price for a lengthy time. Since its birth BTC has existed in world markets that have had a near unbroken cruise upwards. If that undergoes a fundamental change then every expectation may get binned.
Some of the investors in the bitcoin market does not have a clue about the other markets and how the economy works and so is the reason you do not see anyone talking about the economic situation, if there are possibilities that we will go into economic recession during the time of the halving then everything is doomed and all these factors will play a major role in the bitcoin market rally.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game on: December 22, 2019, 05:06:23 PM
@BChydro - even though that Bolt has retired, there are a lot of Jamaican that can replace him that's for sure.
I was expecting someone from US to replace Bolt  Wink, we have Christian Coleman who won the gold medal in the 100 meter during the World Championships in Doha and Justin Gatlin is still running in good form as he won the silver, i was expecting Yohan Blake to carry on the torch as he was running well in the past but now he is not in great shape as he came in 5th during the world championships and there was no other person from Jamaica in the 100m finals.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: December 22, 2019, 02:41:07 PM
Can't say for sure if Plustoken dump has any bearing at all. The remaining Mt Gox Bitcoin funds might be more dangerous if dumped. The markets are weak. But it will end for sure. So, it is best to prepare for the bottom.
I do not think so that the entire tokens are dumped into the market as of now, as per the articles it was more than $100 million worth and if that happens the price of ETH will go down below $50 without a doubt, but we have not seen that kind of sell off in the market even though the articles were flooding with all the speculations, lets see how the market will go as the amount of tokens they are holding is really huge and it will have an impact on the market.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 22, 2019, 01:31:08 PM
^ ^  You can't take away anything from Edgar imo.  He took the bout on short notice when Brian Ortega pulled out.
It is true that Frankie Edgar took the fight in short notice and that too for the main event and he took that chance and did not went his way and the funny thing was his hair style as i have not seen him in a retro get up  Cheesy, we might see Frankie going down to 135 pound in his next fight. Now Korean Zombie is calling for a title shot but i think he should wait as Max Holloway might get his rematch next against Alexander Volkanovski.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: December 22, 2019, 12:15:12 PM
besides that, crimes in the crypto world are done to eliminate traces of stolen money so that they are not tracked. on the other hand because of the lack of strong laws governing, the criminals seemed to be free with many scam projects that could harm the lives of the crypto world
I think you are confused what blockchain is all about, if you are talking about anonymous crypto then your version is correct as it can be used to hide your tracks and it will face a difficult situation when regulators put an end to trading those in the regulated exchanges but if you are using the other coins then you will have a trail for the coins you are having and in the future the criminals will get trapped because of the public nature of every transaction.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH dump even more due to PlusToken? on: December 22, 2019, 10:21:10 AM
I remember that time when I was in Singapore, one weird looking guy approached me and introduced me to PlusToken. As what I have seen in their compensation plan, I immediately moved away and said "No, I'll pass!". Ponzis are not for me.
I did not understand the circumstances in which you were approached by a stranger to invest into something which is crypto related, how come the one that approached you knew that you were aware of the crypto market.

I just feel sorry for those who are being victimized by PlusToken.
The amount of money these scammers are able to collect is just staggering and they are holding $105 million dollars worth of ETH and can be dumped in the market anytime and is there nothing that can be done, i am sure their wallets are market and why not the exchanges confiscate their wallets.

I wouldn't say clearly.  It was obv so close.  Did you watch the tape?  I gave KZ the slight edge but I wouldn't be surprised if I give it to Rodriguez the next time I watch it.  Grin
Yes i have watched the fight and i scored three bouts to the Korean Zombie and in the third round i think Yair Rodríguez edged him and in the final round too Korean Zombie was winning the fight and if it goes to a decision then i am sure Korean Zombie would have won the fight but that elbow changed everything and that too at the last second.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: December 20, 2019, 02:29:35 PM
If Malaysia restricts cash transactions by 2020, I think it will be difficult for this country. How will people here pay for daily services? Not everything transfers or payments are made with digital money. All daily dining, shopping, shopping ... cash payment is quick and convenient. Not all Malaysians are wealthy and can pay by credit card. And what do you think about this issue?
I understand that the government is enforcing people to send big amounts digitally and i guess the restrictions will not affect the poor members of the society as they are not going to pay with hard cash and i hope they will accept debit card and you do not need the credit card to transact, i am asking a genuine doubt and no offense to anyone .
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 20, 2019, 01:05:36 PM
I am going to support Rakic Aleksander in fight against Volkan Oezdemir.
Rakic is more complete and better fighter, and odds are solid now.
Aleksandar Rakić and Volkan Oezdemir are really powerful strikers and i am not expecting this fight going the distance, considering the odds and seeing Volkan Oezdemir as the underdog i am going with him as he is a really powerful striker who once fought for the title and if Rakić is able to win then he will fast track his way to fight Jones.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: December 20, 2019, 11:40:17 AM
The promises of use cases and application of their token was just a PR stunt. But the reality will shake you that regardless of countless times that these projects became bad in the past, there will be investors that's gonna invest blindly with it as long as they see the possible profit that's being displayed by the teams.
The statement was true in the beginning of the ICO trend but now when there is a new project you either neglect them as majority of the past projects with big promises went down just like that and the developers behind those made a fortune and delivered nothing and now it is hard to get a investor to take a high risk like that and the market momentum changed for good and you cannot see any blind investments into these token projects now.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 20, 2019, 10:59:20 AM
Many people want to see their governments adopting crypto currency and using it to replace fiat in their daily life. If it happens futurely, it will be in a centralized way of course. Governments will create their own crypto currencies and force people use it.
Many people might dream that the government will adopt crypto currency but that is far from the truth and no government will pass those adoption but all the governments around will world will look for a digital platforms and might force the citizens to use every transaction digitally so that they will have complete control over the finance and monitor every transaction and they might integrate blockchain at a later time.
