41  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: April 24, 2015, 02:05:23 PM
SebastianJu Kumala really has been very unresponsive for over a year, only fixing some of the bugs on cs but he has very unresponsive to peoples emails or questions on bitcointalk, the way he has operated in the past is far from good, he issued stocks in Vircurex exchange without mentioning that they was several thousend btc i the red at that point, then they lost even more in later problems and he later confiscated traders funds on vircurex and he havent payed dividends accourding to the contract in the Vircurex stock for years.
The cryptostocks site cant be generating much profit for him now either as there is hardly anyone registering any new stocks there theese days witch probably was the biggest income before at 1 btc a stock, they only take 0.15%*2 on trades so it only comes down to something like 30 btc*0.30% = 0.090 btc a month in income from that now, maby they make a few hundred btms from withdrawal fees as they most likely pay less in network fees than 0.005 that they take out, but that cant add up to so much either.
42  Economy / Securities / Re: Looking for big Bitcoins investor for oil and energy investment in middle east on: April 24, 2015, 01:16:40 PM
houstonmiller This must be related to Antoun Toubia and his UCI/UCIcoin that said that there main investment was in HydroInfra
Technologies(HIT), why do you want people to mail you instead of giving them the connection directly to UCI/UCIcoin if it
wasent for the MLM aspect that you say it isent.

https://btcjam.com/users/53276
http://www.ucicoin.com/
http://www.hydroinfra.com/en/

Antoun Toubia has a flawless record on btcjam. 5 loans taken out, 74.15 btc borrowed 56.22 btc repayed, 30.24 btc outstanding
debt, all payments have been made on time or before due date but UCI claim there Hydro Infra Technologies global representative but that is not mentioned anywhere on HITs site.

HIT claim to have a patent in process in Sweden in the field of generating and injecting HHO gas into diesel/gasoline engine
to reduse fuel consumption and emissions, this is not a new ide, it has in fact been tested & is making the fuel ecconomy
better if the HHO can be produced efficiently & decreases CO2 & CO emissions.
The technology of splitting water by electrolysis has been around for over 100 years and using it is as addition to normal fuel
for better economy has been around for many decades so unless there is special about the patent it can already be done
profitable with excisting technology.

The Inventor behind the patent is only mentioned by first name on HIT's site and is not in the board of directors in either
of the 2 HIT companys(Organisationsnummer 556932-9658 & 556957-3537 that's a bit strange to i think.

Both companys is relatively new and hasent reported the yearly tax records.
The HIT companys is registered on an box address they share with 6 companys, none of them is currently maing any profit.

The mentioned patent number isent viewable yet on PRVs site but should be later this year.

Unless there is something special about there approach in the patent i dont see any value in HIT from a technological aspect, but there could be a value in spreading the word of what has been supressed by the energy cartells for a long time.
But if they already go down this path why dont they go the whole way and run engines entierly on
HHO/Oxyhydrogen/knallgas/Browns gas, if the electrolysis process is something like 75-80% efficient like it is with common
technolodgy today, then vehical fuel can be produced at something like 8-9% of the current cost in Sweden for example for the
equivalently energy in gasoline/diesel(and as the fuel also can be burned more efficiently the cost will likely rather be
somewhere in the 5-6% range) and you also have the advantage of zero emmisions if you run the car entierly on Browns gas so why aim at just saving a few % in fuelcost with the thing UCI/HIT is going for ?
43  Economy / Securities / Re: [AUTOTRADE]BTC hedge fund by BtcAutoTrader(The first automated BTC hedge fund) on: April 21, 2015, 11:02:40 PM
AUTOTRADE is in no position to, and has no right to demand that there shareholders act within a specific very short timeframe or else they steal there shares, autotrade should follow there contract and pay the dividend that is missing for a year or so, when they have fulfilled that, then they can start talking with there shareholders if they like to change anything in the future like where the shares should be listed and such things.
44  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: April 21, 2015, 08:57:38 PM
Could always try www.btcpop.co. There in the UK and have to adhere to strict data regulation... Since joining ive had more returns than JAM... Not only that the support is great.

Jams had it in my eyes. BTCPOP is doing well as they've also acquired ardeva too. Serious players in my eyes!
How does that insurance 5%-10%-15%-20%-25% thing that is mentioned on btcpop and that is listed on loans work ? If a loan has a payment that gets 60 days overdue/defaulted and the loan had lets say 10% insured stated, does the site then offer to buy 10% of each investors note or are people instead offered 10% of the investment for the whole note, if it is the later case then the site acts more like a debt collector/debt buyer than insuring the loans. In any case its an improvement for investors to get some type of garanteed return on loans that potentially could get overdue than none that the other sites currently have.

There is also some auctioning of notes mentioned, on what page do one find them and how does that work and who gets the amount the notes gets sold for, the site or the original investor that used the isurance or is it splt in some way between them ? Can people that hasent used the insurance thing list notes defalted notes for auctioning to ?

There is mentioning of "Auto Investment Bot" is that the pool/"Instant Loan Investments" thing and how does that work, what loans do the pool invest in and can one see somewhere what investments the different pools has done in the past ?
45  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does BTCJam calculate interest rates? on: April 19, 2015, 12:17:06 AM
Here is the formula for how BTCJam calculates interest.

A posting advertises:
Amount/Monthly Interest Rate: ฿5.0 @ 3.0%
Term: 180 days

r (monthly interest rate) = 3.0%/100 = 0.03
N (number of payments) = Our Term of 180 days/30 days in a month = 6
P (principle/loan amount) = 5.0 BTC

The size of each payment is c, where c = (P*r*(1+r)^N) / ((1+r)^N-1) = 0.9229875 BTC
Total BTC paid back over 180 days = T = N*c = 6*0.9229875 = 5.537925 BTC
Percentage gained over Term = (T/P - 1)*100 = 10.7585%
APR = Percentage gained * A year in days / Term in days = 10.7585% * 365 / 180 = 21.81585%
The problem with calculating the APR, the annual uncompounded interest rate in such way like btcjam does is that they will get incorrect values for all loans except those that only have one repayment date(7 day term with weekly payment and 30 day term with repayment 1st/5th/10th of the month).

im also a little bit confuse in interest in BTCjam.can i ask what is dif between bitcoin and bitstampUSD.

https://btcjam.com/listings/18694
A bitstampUSD tied loan is lending the bitcoinamount equal to a sertain amount of USD, so the repayment amount will go up or down depending on how the usd/btc price is at the repayment time is compared to the activation time at bitstamps exchange.
46  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: April 18, 2015, 11:48:48 PM
Did btcjam get compromised?  The email I used with btcjam started getting scam emails of coinbase investment fund and they figured out my real name.

Yes, same to me. They had a data breach for sure, the name and the mail used for BTCJam are exclusively used for Jam. So....

BTCJam why you didn't report the breach, do you know that this must be done as per US law?Huh

It dosent have to be any problems with btcjam just because there the only place you used the email adress on, if you have been a member for over 90 days and invested in any loan that has gone to arbitrage then your email and name would also be known by the arbitrator and i guess any internetnode a mail passes, between you and the sender could potentially have sniffed for at least the email address.
47  Economy / Securities / Re: CVFS Live Q & A Session on: April 17, 2015, 01:48:59 PM
If you hope for this project to have any success, I would advise you to work on transparency issues.

First, who s behind this. Names, social contacts, data
Second, where is this fund located, address, office, registration.
Third, references, if any, past successful projects, education, why are you good for this job.
Fourth, the web page s ok but it does seem a bit amateurish for this kind of fund. This is just my personal observation and not something which should be takes seriously.
Fifth, strong exit strategy, what happens if things go south.

If you need a honest review or anything else, I am always glad to help.

Crazyivan if your logged into cryptostocks site you can see the name, address, email, IPadress and such for the owners to stocks number 121 or higher and a few of the earlier stocks to.
48  Economy / Securities / Re: PM Poker - Seeking accredited investors up 30% ownership (Revised) on: April 17, 2015, 10:53:12 AM
There is certainly a market to fill after the big bitcoin poker site sealswithclubs was stopped some months ago, if other companys can get a piece of the pie before they have restrutured in full force at a more bitcoinfriendly country than USA. Can PM poker be one of such companys, who knows, the better handling of seatchanges is a good ide you have but that alone wount bring in thousends of players to the site.
You mention 35 raked hands per table/h in your calculations, that is a very slow pace if for limit/playlimit/nolimit holdem, in the fiat poker world you usually see paces of 60-90hands/h on full ring(9-10 players) tables and even faster at smaller tables, is there some limitations in your software making the play slower or do bitcoin players in general have slower connections or be more inexperienced than fiat poker players and therefore explain the slower pace ?
You also talk about a 500 btc tournament that would of course be amazing would be like the pokerstars sunday tournaments in the past when people from all countrys was allowed to play on the same site.
But for such tournament to work you would either need a lot of action on the site if other ring games and tournaments should partly sponsor that event or you would need a entry fee that resonably matches the price pool. If you had for example 50 000+ people playing the tournament like the biggest ipoker freeroll tournament draw in the past an entry fee of 0.01 btc would ruffly support the price pool and im sure a lot of player would give it a try for a chance at getting up to 25 000 times the money back even if they wouldent end up in the money(usually the top 10% or so) consistantly.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: Quick 2 question survey for school project on: April 14, 2015, 05:17:10 PM
Investing123 googles tracking links is probably not that appriciated by people in general.
But for your questions i would say that any of the big European exchanges like Bitstamp, Btc-e and Bitfinex has a relatively high trust level, they have been around for a long while and handled there businesses fairly well, US based exchanges that is newer have lower trust level i think.
In general if you only use the exchange to buy into bitcoins or sell bitcoins and the funds just temporary pass the exchange then its probably good if you dont at any time keep more than 5-10% of your assets at a single exchange so if you have the equivalent of 10 btc/2500$ you should probably avoid having over 0.5-1 btc/125-250$ at the same exchange, if you would have 1000 btc/250 000$ you should probably keep less than 50-100btc/12 500-25 000$ at the same exchange. If you trade and do so successfully and increase the value of your portfolio over time you could probably increase the amount risked at a single exchange slightly over time with a set percentage higher than 10%(maby 20-40%) of your profit.

The 10k minimum is simply a total minimum for us to take bitcoin investments directly (not through Invesdor or alcurEX). If you invest through Invesdor (which is the #1 method), it is EUR only with a minimum of 335 EUR. If you invest through alcurEX, you can invest with small bitcoin amounts.

All our ATM's are listed at https://bittimaatti.fi/locations?&lang=en. All 8 are located in Finland.

We're soon going to launch our first fully international brand & product line by the way. I'm very excited about this. Months of work and it's almost here. I'll announce it soon.
Thanks for the info, i will try one the next time im over in Finland, we only have two bitcoin ATMs awaliable in Sweden sofar i think, one on Hilton Hotel in Stockholm and another one in bitcoinambassaden also in Stockholm.

girlbtc.com You really should read up on what TOR is before you come with unsubstanciated claims, TOR has thousends of exitnodes(IP adresses) but the nodes with the biggest bandwith will be the ones people pass throu most othen and thats why you see that some people randomly is connecting throu the same IP. I am located in Sweden and have no relation to any other players on your casino or any other bitcointalk account, i have one account only on bitcointalk and the same goes for your site.
I do like your game and will try to play throu the promotion to see if i can do so without loosing the free bonus amount, if i do manage to play throu the requirements i will consither depositing own money in the future and play there afterwards. But as your have a relatively new casino and your bitcointalk account is new, only 47 days old, i will not connect directly to your casino as it would be an unnessesary securityrisk to do so and im sure there is a lot of other players that take simular security precautions.

How long is the Bitcoin Debit MasterCard™ valid for, is it only a year/12 months or 2-3-5 years or something ?
What happens when the card expire, will you be sent a replacement card FOC or will you have to renew everything and pay a new set of fees to continue to use the mastercard thereafter. ?
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a rotator on: April 09, 2015, 05:09:59 AM
So I have been in bitcoin a very short time maybe 6 month's. I invested in some good mining gear, old but still working couple of ant s1 and one ant s3, but recently been hitting faucets pretty hard a hour or two day just playing looking learning about advertises and referrals and such, but was looking into creating a faucet rotator.

Is it really worth the time and effort to create one of these or go with a service that does it for you? are the services really real has any one ever used them? like this one?

http://rotator.doublebitcoins.com/

I mean if you maintain it and get a user base how much can you really make off referrals in general?

Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Faucet generally give out something like 50 satoushi-10 000 satouchi (0.00000050-0.00010000) each time people visit then witch could be every 10min, 30 min, 1hr/3hr/6hr/12hr or once a day depending on site, the referral earinings could be 10%-50% or so depending on so i think you can make quite a bit if you get a lot of people that visits your site that directs them to the better faucets. Try to use a few faucet yourself for a week and see how much you can earn to get an ide about whats possible that your reffered people can bring in.
As long as people can make more than the world powerty income line, 1$ a day on a maby 12-16 hrs work day by visiting faucets there will always be an audience for it, a 10 000 sat faucet for example brings in 0.0001*250=0.025 $/visit  and would at 250$/btc be worth visiting if it takes less than 1/0.025 of the workday, so it will have to take less than 1080  seconds(i doubt it will take that long for anyone) to fill out the captcha if the person compares it to there normal 12 hrs workday.
58  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Girlbtc.com huge promotion on: April 09, 2015, 03:46:34 AM
whats the odds of winning on that site? is it similar to a dice site?
It is more strategy in this game, quite interesting actually compared to a dice site(that just is x% chance you win and (1-x%) chance you looose on each bet and all bets independent of each other.)

If you just flip a coin and bet on a random Girl to win it should in the long run be 50% chance to win if your bet is small enouth to not effect the outcome. Its 0% fee on bets the first hour of the betting rounds and then raises 1% per hour to 5% in the last hour but it might be easiser to guess who will win if you bet later in the games round and you have to figure out what betting strategy that will work the best for you.

59  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: April 08, 2015, 12:16:49 AM
75.98% is all loans throu all time, in the beginning there probably was <25% repayment rate when there was no verification of anything needed to be able to apply for loans.

Is there a detailed stats for repayments all/before/after verification? That would be good. I expect +%90 repayment rate to call it a successful service. Otherwise I stay out of that site.
There is limited amout of stats directly avaliable but the stat that is avaliable on the site can be used to get more interesting numbers. If you want specific stats for a specific period for the loans that was taken out back in 2012-early 2013 (probably somewhere in the 20/30%) when there was no verification worth the name then gh2k's 3rd party site that has all loan data up until august 2014 when btcjam broke his scraper with a change of the layout on the site, is probably easier to use to get data from than using btcjams site directly. but to just take some example:

Total BTC repayed(fully repayed loans)

7/7 2014                                   Repaid   Active   Funding   Overdue
last 6 months (8/1 2014-7/7 2014) 68,60%   14,10%   10,60%   6,80%
last 12 months(8/7 2013-7/7 2014) 69,50%   11,60%   8,50%   10,40%
all time       (sept 2012-7/7 2014)   60,10%    6,90%   4,50%   28,50%

2014-08-22
last 6 months (23/2 2014-22/8 2014) 70,00%   12,20%   9,90%   7,90%
last 12 months(23/8 2013-22/8 2014) 70,10%   10,60%   8,50%   10,60%
all time (sept 2012-22/8 2014)           61,20%     6,50%   4,70%   27,60%
---------------
Total repayed Loans

7/7-2014                                   Repaid   Active   Funding   Overdue
last 6 months (8/2 2013-7/7 2014)  64%         17,30%   6,30%   12,30%
last 12 months(8/7 2013-7/7 2014) 67,40%     12,10%   4,40%   16,10%
all time (sept 2012-7/7 2014)         66,80%      8,30%     3,0%    21,90%

2014-08-22
last 6 months (23/2 2014-22/8 2014) 64,50%   16,10%   5,70%   13,80%
last 12 months(23/8 2013-22/8 2014) 68,50%   11,60%   4,10%   15,80%
all time (sept 2012-22/8 2014)          67,70%     8,30%    2,9%    21,10%

24 oct 2014 71.64% fully repayed loans (and some partially repayed) and the remaining <28.36% is either Active or Overdue

5 april 2015 the stat are at 75.98% fully repayed loans (and some partially repayed) and the remaining <24.02% is either Active or Overdue so when all loans have reached the final repayment date the current fully repayed numbers will probably converge to something like 10% higher(->86%) number and the total will probably be something like 2-5% higher(->88-91%) if you also add payments on partually repayed loans that is currently overdue and defaulted. And the remaining 9-12% the borrower could try to send to some collecting agency or let btcjam handle when they have signed up with some of the collecting agencys they mentioned earlier that they were in negociations with.

7 april 76.10% fully repayed loans

If one looks at smaller timeframes then we have fully repayed loans:
18 oct 2014 -18 dec 2014 at 76.86%
8 nov 2014  - 8 jan 2014 at 80.67%
22 nov 2014 -22 jan 2014 at 81.39%
1 dec 2014  - 1 feb 2015 at 83.11%
1 jan 2014   - 1 mars 2015 at 88.04%

If you look at even shorter timeframes there is periods where fully repayed loans is over 90% for example
7 jan-7 feb when it at 91.32%
