41  Economy / Economics / Re: WTF? Food prices expected to raise up to 50% in German supermarket. on: April 09, 2022, 08:55:12 PM
I'm also going to share an article regarding inflation in Germany that differs a bit from the article OP shared. Not since 1990 has inflation in Germany reached a maximum like it is now.
In February, it stood at 5.1% due to the appearance of the new Omicron variant and what it implies economically when health comes first. With respect to the end of March, it stood at 7.3% due to Russia's war against Ukraine and the economic consequences of Russia's sanctions and its energy dependence.
Experts point out that energy production must be increased in order to meet demand due to the current crisis.

42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are getting stronger, how are you contributing? on: April 09, 2022, 07:16:51 PM
Congratulations OP for your entrepreneurship!
It is also an initiative to give bitcoin more relevance in our daily lives.
The idea is good because you are informing people about bitcoin. Just as people like to wear clothes with their favorite brands in the same way you are inviting people to wear clothes on bitcoin it could be seen as a brand but it is more than that it is the freedom and empowerment that we are for struggling.
It is also very timely now that the massive adoption of bitcoin is approaching because with something we do we help people to get more involved.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 08, 2022, 10:30:20 PM
I do not think that Satoshi appears publicly, much less to sell his bitcoin. In social networks people are mentioning Satoshi for remembering April 5th remembering his birthday.
As we know it is a date that has not been verified and following the idea that Satoshi will be present at some point it is very unlikely.
I rather believe that he is among us as an anonymous, satisfied by the success that bitcoin has and following the path that even his creation has yet to conquer.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEX ruins the true value of Bitcoin on: April 08, 2022, 09:53:31 PM
Although we have contrary opinions, for or against. CEXs have contributed to the exponential growth of people who use bitcoin. They have had the opportunity to learn about bitcoin on these platforms and have even created a way of working as a trader, in P2P and other ventures linked to these sites.
I do not disagree with the CEX, on the contrary, I feel safe in their apps, and every day I notice improvements in UX/UI due to user demands.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Jack Mallers’ Strike Announces Shopify Integration for Bitcoin Lightning Payment on: April 07, 2022, 10:39:11 PM
Jack Mallers made an announcement at the Bitcoin Conference 2022 that the giant Shopify will allow payments through the Lightning Network.

Strike partnered with NCR, the world's largest point-of-sale (POS) provider.

Quote
“If we can help make the Bitcoin network more accessible and usable we believe we can change the world,”

Jack Mallers.

Let's do it!

Definitely, every time this guy makes an appearance at the Bitcoin Conference he brings an important announcement, one more step for the adoption of bitcoin.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone forgot April 5th...? on: April 07, 2022, 10:07:20 PM
Although it is a date that has not been verified. I see that it is important because it is the first public appearance of Satoshi announcing the creation of bitcoin.
If bitcoin has done a lot for us, we also have the commitment to do something for it.
Satoshi vanished in time. As the events occurred, it seems as if everything was planned from the beginning and without leaving traces.
What we do know is that Satoshi has left a great legacy to humanity.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic consequences of Russian-Ukraine War on: April 07, 2022, 07:06:23 PM
It is notable that we have an environment of uncertainty, the consequences of the war in Ukraine is creating an economic crisis affecting the prices of energy and other raw materials.
The tension in the financial markets has caused volatility that will continue.
Central Banks are trying to maintain price stability and offer better conditions.
In the productive sector we can see references that have lowered industrial production, which caused shortages and inflation.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits USA on: April 02, 2022, 11:01:00 PM
In the United States it has lived so long without inflation, 40 years as the source reports seems like a long time. The difficult situation that the nation experienced facing the pandemic caused many economic losses and resources, now the war in Ukraine due to sanctions against the country of Russia caused the price of oil, gasoline, gas and derivatives to skyrocket.
Fortunately, the conflict could come to an end so that the economy recovers.
The United States is a powerful nation that can very well overcome these inflation rates, there are also important sectors that support bitcoin, filling us with expectations in knowing the progress they are making.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Saved Me. on: April 02, 2022, 08:41:54 PM
I made a friend on a P2P exchange who was happy to start his trading career.
He works as a clerk in the administration of a University in my region.
While we were trading he confessed to me that this activity was very good to improve his economy.
Honestly, being a trader requires time and skills, knowing the market trends and winning opportunities to make profit.
Sometimes I dare to do it but I don't continue because my daily activities limit me.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 02, 2022, 08:10:30 PM
The idea of holding bitcoin for a long time in the course of life teaches you many things.
There are those who want to accumulate more bitcoin and do it for a goal.
I think that is where we participate, I want to own bitcoin for a long time and always thinking of my family and while I am going through this journey I am willing to provide solutions to unforeseen situations.
Last year was memorable for me. I was able to make repairs to my house for which I am proud. The house is like new for twenty more years, God willing.
I made use of my investment and now I'm going for more, the best ally we have is time, bitcoin will always be waiting.
In my portfolio I can have other coins but bitcoin is my main investment.
If we have been fortunate to know how good decentralization brings us by bitcoin, why let it go?
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2022 Conference on: April 01, 2022, 11:22:12 PM
Thanks for this thread! Time flies. There are only a few days left to enjoy another Bitcoin Conference.
A year ago the great announcement was made that El Salvador adopted bitcoin as legal tender. Surely we will know the progress that El Salvador has had in all this time. It is a very interesting conference due to the quality of the guests. I was struck by Aarika Rhodes, an elementary school teacher who will speak at the conference.

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there no altcoins that can replace Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2022, 10:04:17 PM
Bitcoin is the most important active in Crypto space for being the pioneer is somewhat unquestionable where we all agree. It has great value due to decentralization, it is safe, it is a true store of value.
It is money disruptor,
It has achieved what no one had thought that people move their capitals of traditional assets to digital assets.
Although there are Altcoins they walk in seeking to accumulate more bitcoin.

It is already news in a tweet The CEO of Terraform Labs, DO Kwon, has plans to accumulate Bitcoin to support the StableCoin TerrausD (UST).

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: March 31, 2022, 10:16:33 PM
The idea is nothing but exciting!
I am already doing the work of teaching the youngest in my home about bitcoin.
As some members have said, our children are the future and bitcoin leads us to a change for technological development, finance, and the economy.
A few months ago the Mayor of New York Eric Adams granted an interview in which he revealed an anecdote:
In his electoral campaign he spoke about blockchain and bitcoin and the young people asked him, What is that?
The mayor wants teachers to teach crypto in schools, it's timely now that his government is bitcoin friendly.

54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe it is to invest in cryptocurrency on: March 30, 2022, 11:04:57 PM
Investing in bitcoin is a risk due to volatility. But the risk of loss occurs when you decide to sell for a lower price than you bought. As long as you don't sell you can save your investment and make a profit.
On the other hand, sometimes we stop to see the risks of investing in bitcoin without taking into account the times we have won.
Bitcoin is invaluable, it is the pioneer digital asset to cross borders to reach the hands of many and provide them with solutions that governments and banks did not dare. When you send bitcoin to pay bills outside your borders, you contribute to the economy of any country.
My best experience in bitcoin was at the beginning of the pandemic when its price fell due to uncertainty and it exceeded all that time and the same is happening now. Bitcoin is a safe investment and with the risks that we are willing to bear.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VIETNAM AGAIN CONSIDERS LEGALIZING BITCOIN on: March 30, 2022, 09:33:56 PM
Despite the fact that Vietnam has banned bitcoin as a means of payment in 2018. For the Vietnamese, today's scenario is different, there is more optimism about bitcoin, governments are including bitcoin as a means of payment to pay taxes.
The good thing is that in the country, according to statistics, there is a 41% of Vietnamese holding crypto, one of the highest figures around the world. Having a good understanding of the legislators, it could happen that bitcoin will occupy more spaces.
Sometimes I think that legislators do not have good advisors in crypto so that the technology is well accepted or the power of centralism is superior to any technological advance that makes bitcoin possible.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next U.S. Crypto Center? on: March 28, 2022, 11:30:35 PM
Austin has everything to become a global crypto hub.
In 2014 it opened the first bitcoin ATM in the U.S,
https://techcrunch.com/2014/02/19/the-first-bitcoin-atm-in-the-us-is-opening-in-austin-texas/
embracing bitcoin miners this year and now approving Tax payments in Bitcoin.
I believe that this model of bitcoin adoption will continue in the nation. I also think that the main capitals of the world will find in bitcoin how to take advantage of technology, time teaches us that we must give way to it to provide faster and more accurate solutions.
It's happening! BTC
It is what we were waiting for and we can already feel that there is confidence in bitcoin.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Assumptions of People who don't know about bitcoin... Ki on: March 28, 2022, 10:24:07 PM
It's true! There are many people who do not know what bitcoin is and worse still say anything about bitcoin lightly. I remember once I wanted to motivate an Asian merchant in my country to accept bitcoin as a payment method to pay for my groceries.
She told me that she didn't know and I told her I can teach you, I thought she would accept and she didn't dare one bit. While talking I could tell that she had the wrong idea about bitcoin. She told me I still don't know a millionaire who invests in bitcoin.
Since she had no interest in learning, I couldn't tell her you don't need to be a millionaire to invest in bitcoin, I also think that in relation to money, people without knowledge don't dare to venture.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper btc and paper usdt new money system on: March 28, 2022, 09:55:33 PM
As a passionate about new technologies, I believe that in the future it will be common to pay with btc, usdt or another cryptocurrency anywhere in the world.
I am optimistic that we will not suffer a setback in something like not having internet that makes normal operations difficult for users.
The financial system, banks and institutions have shown agreements and disagreements with bitcoin but we have the advantage that we are free to choose.

I understand OP when he thinks that by learning other skills in the digital world, he can earn a new income. The interest in venturing into other possibilities is natural when the main income is not enough for savings.
I would recommend that you first explore the Freelance related websites and check the job demands and offers, learn new skills and try out.

60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Misconception of Crypto Currency on: March 26, 2022, 08:08:59 PM
As OP mentions there are many coins in the crypto market.
How to learn about them?
I also asked myself the same question and luckily I learned about the Ethereum network, I interacted with some tokens and in the end I sold all my ETH for the high fees.
As a Binance user I have invested in their BNB token and learned about some projects on their BNB Chain network as well as interacting on BinanceDex.
Binance is also useful for many because it is one of the most important global exchanges with its P2P market where we can buy and sell crypto with our local currency.

At this moment we see a struggle of the blockchain networks that seek to occupy the best places in the rating. They are also called the killers of Ethereum (BNB Chain, Cardano, Terra, Solana, Polkadot, Avalanche y Polygon) they offer fast transactions, low fees, DeFi, NFT, Metaverse, GameFi.
Of which I have chosen the Avalanche network because it offers everything mentioned above and its native token is the AVAX.
Without forgetting bitcoin, which is the main coin in my portfolio. This way I can share how I started investing in some cryptocurrencies.
