I'm not sure why it even matters whether someone is a guy or a girl when it comes to Bitcoin.

I'm giving my nieces a mix of BTC and LTC this year

I still want my money from the 427 shares of Goat's securities I had

Your rates are competitive, but not compelling enough to go with you instead of an established exchange. Best I'd go off-exchange would be 38 LTC per 1 BTC.

What is your exchange rate?

Thanks for the quick sale I miss the good old days.

I don't have that color, but I do have a brand new tube of MAC Lipglass in Viva Glam Gaga, the Lady Gaga limited edition color. Like all Lipglass, it goes on thick and sticky (yes, your hair will stick to your lips if you're not careful). I'd take .5 BTC shipped for this one. I also have a brand new Lipglass in Oyster Girl, and one tube in Nymphette (only used once to test). .15 BTC shipped for either of these. Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread.. I was just throwing that out there

There was only one way to guarantee LJR's silence, and Josh did what had to be done.

This is getting a little too high. I'm cashing out while the cashing is good.

Apparently offering such a feature would only help you 'feel' better about your delusions... How can transaction history be delusion? It's right there in black & white.

I wish they'd add the ability to pick above OR below the RNG value. I've had a ton of 7+ string of losses in the "50%" game, and even a 30+ string. I've NEVER seen a winning streak of more than 5 though. Ever.
Yeah I know it shouldn't matter, etc.

You need to run bitcoin with the command "-datadir E:\" change the path to wherever you want your bitcoin directory to be.
Thank you!
|
|
|
I moved my bitcoin-qt.exe to my external drive E:\ and just dumped the blockchain files into that same directory on E:\ as well. However, whenever I run bitcoin-qt.exe -detachdb, it keeps re-creating C:\Mousepotato\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin and starts downloading the blockchain again. What am I doing wrong?

Ok, that makes sense. So you are making educated guesses about what the hash rate will be in the future, and then trying to determine what sort of difficulty will result from that prediction.
I'd think it would be easier to make an educated guess at the future hash rate and then just divide your expected hash rate by that predicted hash rate. The resulting ratio should be the percentage of daily mined BTC that you should receive, shouldn't it?
So if you predict a network hash rate of 500 TH/s, and your are contributing 60 GH/s:
60 / 500,000 = 0.012%
0.012% of 3600 = 0.432 BTC / day
(Is 1 TH/s equivalent to 1,000 GH/s, or is it 1024 GH/s?)
That would be too easy though

Wow, this blows. If I ordered an ASIC right now, by the time I actually received it, the network hash rate could possibly be up to 500 TH/s, putting difficulty at around 69.8M. So a single 60 GH/s ASIC would only make around .43 BTC/day
|
|
|
@deepceleron Thanks, that's exactly what I need.
@DannyHamilton I'm trying to figure out how many coins/day a 60 GH/s ASIC will produce once the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wave of BFL+Avalon ASICs hit the network.

|
|
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there a calculator out there that estimates difficulty based on total network hash rate? Right now I'm kind of reverse-engineering it by using the Allchains calculator by plugging in various hash rates and difficulties until I arrive at 3600 coins/day but it's kind of a PITA. Is there an easier way?

But... Its just a box with fans!
I've been away for a few months, but I've seen references to this in other threads. What's the back-story on it?
|

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'll just wait it out for now. It'd be nice to be able to make 1 BTC/day again!
