What's going to happen to all the legacy i0coins?

Where did the Ixcoin listing go?

Was hoping to get a bit more than 270 for each 6970. That's going to be a hard sell considering you can get 5870s for under $200 now.

|
|
simply put: you can get ~1.4 GH/s with 2 $300 5970s or you could get ~1 GH/s with a (now) $700 BFL miner.
You can't play BF3 with a BFL card, son!

If I get another 5970, I can get killed at twice the FPS as my current setup in BF3

Did you see my PM
I did see it, And I laughed at it. This made me lol

Replace with a water block. Problem solved

That was Gabriel Beal's biz. I helped design a couple of his shirts and they were really well made, IMHO. Sorry to see it didn't enjoy more success.

I will add 5 BTC and 3000 IXC if the reward is dropped from 96 to 1 with merged mining.
i0coin reward is 96 per. Ix is 48 IIRC.

Hi guys. I guess I'm throwing in the towel with mining. These price fluctuations (almost always on the downward side) are killing me, so I'm going to start piecing out my mining rig. The first thing to go is going to be (hopefully) my HIS 5870, used for 5 months for mining and gaming, which it has performed exceedingly well. Flawless condition in box with cables et al. No dust build up whatsoever. I clean my fans once a week with a paint brush, so everything performs optimally. $200 (or Bitcoin equiv) and I will ship anywhere in the US. I've sold to EPisKing with no problems and have bought from a number of people on here. No pic right now since I'm at work, but it's this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161331 (sorry, no MW2 code, I already installed it).

I'm not willing to bet either way. I've seen operations where there's a small rinky dink US-based office but all development and production is out of Korea/China/Taiwan/whatevz.

Too bad Moonco.in isn't around anymore so we could make these bets official.

Nearly 10M shares on that last block. Ouch!

Quick Tip: Diamond is a horrible manufacture, support is completely non-existent, workmanship is shotty. Best hope you have a blowout within those first 30 days, because that will be your last real chance to rma it.
This 5970 is a reference board. Diamond doesn't do anything but slap a "Diamond Multimedia" sticker on it and bundle it with some software.

I'm still around. Just having some server issues with ixcoin.org but it should be back up soon.
I'd prefer to go the merged mining route like namecoin with Bitcoin as the primary chain. I still need to look into this in further detail. If someone else has the time inclination and wants to port merged mining to the current ixcoin client, I would be happy to award 5K IXC from the 10K coding bounty. Anybody can mine 5K Ixcoins in a matter of hours at current difficulty. You might have to sweeten the deal with more Ixcoins than that.

IIRC there was someone selling a 5970 for I0coins a while back, but beyond that I know of no shops or individuals taking alt coins.

Let us say that you won the lottery and you want Bitcoin to succeed in the long term. You want to take some of your earnings, $10 million, and use it toward making Bitcoin a fairly popular and useful currency of choice.
What would you do?
I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities...

I'm mining at around 1.5-1.8 KH/s and was expecting to find blocks a lot faster at .20 difficulty

I'd be interested if you ship first. That's about the only way you'll sell your items. At least when you ship there's a valid mailing address you have record of.
