Viz

Is this picture from a PBC coin? Try this,

1. write it out in reverse (bottom right- left) (middle right- left)(top right-left)
2. add a 5 on the front
3. Swap the the last 2 digits
4. Swap the 15th digit with the last digit
This is your private key

I don't have the exact sequence but this sounds about what gravitate told me for a funded 1B PBC coin.
46  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Cases] What do you keep your coins in? on: August 24, 2017, 11:27:26 PM
A safe. A fire proof safe.

I've read that storing coins in a fireproof safe is not always a good idea.

This guy says he had his collection stored in a SentrySafe fireproof safe, and some time later found severe damage:

https://www.cointalk.com/threads/disaster-need-help-please.267208/

Scary stuff.  I had no idea that those safes would cause damage like that.
47  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ⭕️ 8-COIN KAMEHAMEHA SILVER SET (VERY LIMITED MINTAGE) ❎ on: August 24, 2017, 02:07:41 AM
I just want to say how gorgeous these sets are.  The King Kamehameha silver coins are some of my favorite coins of all time (first IMO being the 3-coin XMR series you produced  Wink ).

I'm very tempted to complete the set and will be watching this thread to see how quickly orders fill up.

+1.  This set is likely my favorite of my entire collection.  The coins paired up with the wood pieces are amazing.

I put my ANACS slabs into Lighthouse wooden display cases
http://www.lighthouse.us/epages/lighthouse.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/leuchtturm_us/Products/HMK8USK

With my poor-man's peeled 5B and 25B..

and the coins in 2" square Lighthouse quadrum holders put inside their wooden display cases.

An example...

Then that stuff is put in a vault.

Ping halo. If anyone has one, it would be him

These are new ones on me

I'm not familiar with these.

Thanks Hox and TheNewAnon for the nice comments.  I also appreciate your posting some pics.

I mentioned before I wont be doing these autographs and holo sets again.  It was too time consuming in all the emails, mailing, sorting, etc.

This is the first auction to my knowledge of a resale.

I am sold out of these, and look forward to seeing how much these go for.
51  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100BTC CASASCIUS Gold Bar on ebay on: July 15, 2017, 09:25:15 PM
I've never seen one of these before.  It's not covered in the a Encyclopedia.  It's not a Unfunded 2FA Bar (4 made) nor a upside down holo with a dot (8 made).  Very interesting.

Looks like this bar got "funded" over 5 years ago:

Version 2:  https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1GdgTNBLLn27WMSC8mnpewgNSCZqdwSGqA

There are featured on page 112 of the softcover and 119 of the hardcover:

You're right MJ.  I was assuming based on the OP that these were unfunded 100BTC bars, but didn't notice when quickly looking at just the holo they are just regular bearer bars.  Not as rare as I thought.   They sold for about 1 BTC in the resale after market.

53  Economy / Collectibles / Re: A new physical BitCoin coin design on: June 29, 2017, 10:44:56 PM
Don't do licensed and trademarked properties.  You're asking for legal trouble.  Since you aren't known well, don't do funded coins, due to people not knowing you, and a funded 1 BTC is a barrier to many customers.  There's also FinCen issues if selling to US customers.  However there are some legal workarounds to that.

I would do serial numbers though.  Consider 1oz silver.  Custom Holograms on the back
54  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2013 .001 BTC Bit-Card, Beer Edition FUNDED on: June 06, 2017, 09:58:10 PM
I have a few of these cards, but are not for sale.   They are very nice designs and high-quality.

This was a photo I took a while back, to give you guys an idea of some of the designs they did.  The bit-cards are shown in the bottom row, in the middle two columns.

Good luck with the auction.  Its always nice to see something different offered for sale.

55  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] Worldly Treasure Block-halving coin set | 49 set left on: June 02, 2017, 05:19:18 PM
What's the mintage and is there a holo on the other side ?
56  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Autographs for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins on: May 26, 2017, 12:54:30 PM
All sets are now sold.
57  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] Casascius VOID coin on: May 26, 2017, 12:42:35 PM
I had purchased that void coin from Eodguy149.

There are estimated to be around 12 made and of those maybe 5-7 still exist?  One could argue these are the 3rd rarest Casascius coin after the funded 1000BTC gold coins (around 5-8 made) and the Double Error Casascius 1 BTC (around 5 made)

After that you would have the Casascius Series 2 0.5 Silver (45 made), then the Unfunded 2FA gold coins ( 50 made - the ones coblee has)

Some info from the Encyclopedia.

58  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] PaperSafe Silver Satoshi + Kialara Moon Series on: May 24, 2017, 07:28:39 PM
Anyone know what these typically sell for?  Would like to make an offer, but not sure where to start.  Thx

Phantom1701...there were only 10 made, and they are very nice pieces.

BTW...you have me set to Ignore.  I cant reply to your PM from today.
59  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Autographs for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins on: May 24, 2017, 11:56:55 AM
I would be surprised if it doesn't sell. I love my set. Awesome to see that a lot of coin makers included their holograms. It's an absolute must-have for coin collectors!

Thanks for your kind words.  I'm very glad it's appreciated.

It's a project I won't be doing again, even though we will likely start writing the next edition of the Encyclopedia at some point.
60  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Autographs for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins on: May 23, 2017, 09:49:57 PM
I'll take # 3 and #4 thanks

#3 and 4 are sold.  I only have one set left (#2/50) out of the set of 50.  Pricing has been increased to $695, since I'm ok with keeping it if there are no takers.
