722  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Vault Coin (Physical Cold Storage) Online Store Now Live on: March 08, 2016, 08:39:26 PM
Good to hear, your pictures are top notch so I know we will be represented well!

I wonder if our website was listed on one of our pages, if so do you think we should list our email instead since our site is (at least temporarily) shut down?

Thanks

For a sampler, here's the unedited jpeg of the gold (lim. ed of 8 made) obverse pic I took for the book:

The actual pics will be sized much smaller.

I would suggest giving people a way to contact you for ordering, whether through email or PM on the forum.

I was hoping we could keep the store active until the Physical Bitcoin Encyclopedia https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022071.0 got published as we will be in it (hopefully we still will) as I was thinking it would be a big boost for traffic and sales.

Ideally if we could get some large orders moved (I'm looking at companies that revolve around bitcoin and crypto currencies in general as employee give-aways) we would then have the income for a second product.  Something designed by the community that they would want to purchase and maybe do a small run of those.

I'm helping out with the Encyclopedia.  It hopefully should be ready to be sent to print in about 2-3 weeks, give or take. We gave you 2 pages I believe, especially since I had both the solid silver and gold plated coins (8 made each) to photograph from my collection.

I hope it gives you a boost as well.

I'm also glad to see you guys still around.

How do I get in on this Big Bonanza Draw and how much will the prize be? I'm interested in the #9 spot again depending on the details.

Your spot is reserved and the details are forthcoming in the next day or two. Cheesy

Thanks

Is this BBD a new Microsoul coin or another mj pool?  If Microsoul, I'll take no. 4 please

Why are you masking the firstbits?  Huh

Main reason is in case someone wanted to make counterfeits, I'd prefer they not use these firstbits.  There was a 25 BTC a year or so ago on ebay I think had the same prefix as a legit one.  I can produce unmasked pics for a buyer if they need.

Fair enough. Is your single a 1Ag1 series?
It's 1Ag2

Whats your lowest acceptable offer on the 1 BTC?  3.4 seems a little high for grade.

Feel free to PM with an offer.  Since I just listed these, I'm not eager to go much lower.  If they don't sell for a while, then I would accept less.

Is there any way for us to know which mint is considered a more premium mint ahead of time?  I'd rather pay a premium pre ordering from the better mint.

Agreed with this statement.

Ok the ones already ordered I will make the best mint.. The other 20 will be the worst mint..
I don't know which is better. One is my normal mint and the other is the mint that made the LuckyBit coins.
So its hard to say which one will be the best.

The mint used by Luckybit seemed to make very nice quality silver plated coins.  They had a shiny polished proof-like finish and had a professional look.  The only thing is the size is very close to traditional 1oz Silver coins, but they seemed too large to fit in my 1oz holders.  Not sure if they were supposed to be standard size or not.

Excellent gold plating this time.

I'll add my name to the list for #1 Gold if no one called that out yet.  Cheesy

Wow what weight do you prefer?
1/4 oz? Or less?

Obviously 1/4 oz is cheaper but it would be really tiny on a gold coin, especially if it has a special code to decipher.  It would be sized like a 1/8 oz Silver coin due to gold's density.  There wouldn't be room on the back for lettering with a holo on it.

Put me tentatively (depending on price) on #2 for the gold.
By the way.. The Russian roulette coin will have 40 bronze and 40 silver. Half from one mint and half from a new mint. I think it's going to be a totally amazing coin so I made more of them.
I will price them accordingly. It will be interesting to see how the same coin is made by 2 different mints.

Are you numbering them again from 1-20 or just continue from 21-40?

I am looking for a full set of #5s

I figured as much but wanted to give you first crack.  Then #2 it is.
737  Economy / Collectibles / Re: LIMITED EDITION 10 ONLY Philosopher's Coin find the hidden code on: February 26, 2016, 05:12:15 PM
MJ you Sneaky bugger !!

You are more than welcome to the spot......#2 is more than ok with me Cheesy

If monkeynuts doesn't want first dibs on #2 for the 3rd coin (block halving), I'll take it.  If he does want it, put me at #3.

If you're taking reservations for the 4th unnamed coin, I'll take #1 if I can.
738  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Lucky coin Idea on: February 24, 2016, 01:20:17 PM

OH Yeah! Come to me my 1 BTC :-)
Good luck Smiley Btw off topic does anyone know why my trust went from 50 down to 20. I could have sworn it was 50?
escrow.ms and his trust list got removed from DT. Most of them got back again, but some didn't.

Some examples (that affected your trust):
bithalo
snarlpill

Yes, I was on escrow.ms DT list.  After he was removed, I was taken off Default Trust.  It would have been nice to be added back on another DT1 list, especially considering the 160+ hours of volunteer work on the Physical Bitcoin Encyclopedia for the good of our community (this relates more about active contribution vs trust), as well as the many transactions made here.   All the people I gave feedback to from sales were impacted.

Yeah I'm very surprised that you weren't picked up by anyone on DT1. I saw trust levels fluctuate quite a bit when all of the escrow.ms drama was playing out. It looked like Blazed added you to his DT2 list but then removed you after further review. Obviously Blazed's list is entirely subjective and no explanation is necessary or expected but I would be curious if he wanted to give some insight into his reasoning. In my opinion you have been extremely helpful as well as trustworthy in all of our trades and dealings and seem like a wealth of knowledge on this board.

Thank you very much for the kind words.

To reiterate, I would like #2 of the CI holo and #1 of the Microsoul holo, if we are following the list that Minerjones made earlier.
