Thanks for making the coins mint. Good luck on the gold plating and please take your time to do the job good, better we wait a little longer and get awesome mint coins.
I second this. Don't feel rushed in any way. Waiting for a bit longer won't kill us . Agreed. I can wait for the coins to be done right

I can take more Lealana if needed, and I have all the major varieties. All my Casascius are in slabs, so those wouldn't be good subjects to photograph.

I'm going to try update the list here at some point so if anyone wants to update or add to the list of existing mints please can you post them to the thread and I'll get them added when I have a mo. Over the last year or so there have been lots of new mints popping up and I've not been able to keep track of all of them.
Even better if you have good quality photos of the coins, bars etc please post them here and I'll get them added.
Check people's lists as well. I know bithalo and Mitchell both have a thread on their coins that have some of the more obscure ones. And Furio? also has a thread with some of this information. Hope this helps. Thanks Good to see you back on this thread...No_2. This list was my inspiration for getting started in collecting cryptos. Here's my list as mentioned above. Its mostly up-to-date. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1052189.0Also elianite is publishing an encyclopedia that should be ready soon that will have almost all mints in pictures, descriptions and specs. I'm providing assistance with it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022071.0

I remember bhcoins 3rd edition (2FA) had gold plating issues on their B on the front. I wonder why mints can't do a far better job in plating.
Looking forward to these.

Just a FYI to the OP...
I paid Denarium for both a winning Auction of a 1B Silver (#A36), and an order for one Empty Custom coin as well.

Might I point out that after Casascius minted his Gold coins, it initially cost $5,000 per coin including BTC. Chaang Noi (Goat) Sold his gold coin for close to $1,000,000. COST: $200 premium over gold spot price (subject to a $1850 per coin reserve), plus shipping, plus you provide the 1000 BTC. Complete with BTC, this is approximately a $5000 coin. Shipping is via Registered Mail with insurance.
Looks like the Casascius gold coin was only $200 over gold cost for the coin itself. That was very reasonable for such a low minted coin. For another comparison, the Titan 1 BTC Gold was around $450-$500 over spot for the coin only.

Wow....those bad boys are about $4175 in total.

Wow looks like Christmas was a bad time to end an auction. I reckon that's a steal. Great scoop there.
Not only that, but the time was around 5 am EST for me in the Eastern US and 2am for the Pacific Coast....an odd time for people in the US. I guess the hours have to be bad for someone in the world.

I went through all the websites and maker' s Bitcointalk forum coin announcements again to use the naming that each maker used. I also reviewed all the specs for the coins again and took the rest of the photos today. Sending this over to elianite so we can review it all.

New Coin Naming Convention
I have put together the below standardized format for identifying coins and rounds in the book. IU hope that it becomes standard among physical crypto-currency.
PF - Pre-Funded (coin funded directly by the manufacturer): Casascius, Microsoul, Titan, TGBEX, Crypto Imperator, Alitin, Nasty Fans seat coins
BF - Buyer-Funded (buyer funds coin directly, before it is shipped): Some Lealana coins
UF - Un-Funded (shipped with private key secured, but without loaded value): Ravenbit, an option for many coins
Don't forget to add JPF - Just Plain Fun (No cash value, but the coolness value is pretty darn high.): Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins. Regards, Christopher We are categorizing those as "Rounds". Nice coin BTW.
