As I've mentioned before, we already replaced our order once for the capsules for the 1 BTC from the supplies (as the first batch came loose really easily) but it seems that the replacements were still not good enough. We will change the capsule type entirely for future coins and also look into the protective padding in the packages so that it's adequate.
There has been very little issues with the capsules of our smaller coins but the larger ones have definitely been a bit problematic.
Capsules are the least of your worries. I hate to be negative, but the quality of these coins is just horrible. I got a silver bull coin and the brass custom coin and both are in bad shape. I am not sure how in good conscience you can ship coins that look like these.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1218530.msg14586027#msg14586027Completely agree. I've tried to be very polite about this, but I'm frustrated at the quality. I can somewhat live with the Brass coins due to their low cost (though I'm very disappointed in them), but the Silver was meant to be a premium product, and the auction prices reflected that.
Here's my two pics I took for the Encyclopedia. They wont win any awards for best picture, but they accurately reflect my 1/10 and 1/100. I didnt take any pics yet of my Custom or Silver. The 1/100 has very bad bands across the front, which I mentioned to Henry in person in Miami.
I do appreciate Henry being upfront with many of the issues, but I think Denarium needs to go with another mint asap as opposed to an in-house metal maker just to keep margins high. Then to compound issues, there was the decision to polish the silvers, which is a no-no, as it left lots of scratches on my coin, and in my case, a capsule which fell right off as soon as I touched the package, letting the Silver fall out.
