I may just keep and load it up
I personally wouldnt load it. I think it devalues the collectibility should you wish to resell one day. But I also wouldn't sell it unless you get what you want you're looking for.

Produced 2 years ago? None of the bars acknowledged in Elianite's book (which I believed you were a contributor for) mentions a Casascius 100 BTC bar mintage later than 2011. Am I reading the book incorrectly? I think these bars are pretty cool. Low mintage and a very class cold storage option. Does Mike sell the holograms anywhere? Can we find the holograms anywhere? These are not normal 100B bars. They were produced by Mike C roughly 2 yrs ago. Bitguy to my knowledge, arranged with Mike to get these. There were only 4 bars like this, and another 8 with the holo upside down and with a dot added on the holo. Another one of a kind 1000B bar was made. They were sold unfunded due to the regulation issues.
We discussed the history of these in the Encyclopedia.
Bitguy2016 and monkeynuts can chime in if they like.
Assuming you are looking at the Encyclopedia, vs Elianite's Casascius-only COINFIRM initial pdf, this info is there. There are dedicated pages for these bars. 1 for the 2FA 100BTC Unfunded bar (4 produced), 1 for the non-2FA 100BTC Unfunded bar (8 produced), and another for the 1000BTC Unfunded bar (1 produced). The Year in the chart reflects when the metal bars were produced, not when it was assembled with the special holo. Here's two pages from one of our early Encyclopedia drafts...it may not be exact to what was printed, but its all I have readily available. Mike does not sell the holos anywhere. As bitguy mentioned, these were special produced and very very low mintage. They are not the same as the regular 100 BTC bars.

Bithalo set #4 @ $71
Going for 4 instead of 5 that is interesting Yeah what's that about? Is number 4 ya lucky number or u got summin against me? Nothing against you at all. But this is an auction. At some point people are likely to outbid others. A couple reasons I picked #4. I prefer lower numbers (i.e. 4 or 5). I generally wont outbid minerjones in auctions out of respect for all he has done for me and the community. I prefer not to go after #1 since that one is higher priced and will be more actively bid on later, most likely.

I wrote to bitguy asking him for his input. In the meantime, here is the text from one of bitguy's / cflow previous ebay auctions related to this item...
ABOUT THIS ITEM FOR SALE: Only 4 ever made! (only 2 left in stock and then never again)
If you are a Casascius collector, you have to have one or both versions of these!
EXTREMELY RARE! Rarest of the rare. This is the 100 btc bar 2FA version. The only 100 btc bars that were made "non loaded". (These are not redeemed standard 100 btc bars.)
100 btc 2FA Bars are factory engraved on the hologram, "2Factor" by Mike Caldwell himself, the creator of Casascius. (2 factor version, which means there is a double layer of security in having a pass phrase associated with the bitcoin address. This prohibits anyone from redeeming the coin/bar without both the passphrase and the private key underneath the hologram. (We will provide passphrase with bar). Casascius never sees the original passphrase.
ALSO, I have had questions as to whether all bars were originally made loaded, the answer is NO. From Casascius website: "Available as a pre-loaded 100 BTC bar, as well as a non-denominated savings bar. " The 100 btc bar offered prior was originally only sold loaded, and they are now obviously worth over $30K. The hologram actually says zero btc if you look closely. This bar is factory new and the hologram was never peeled or tampered with.
You will receive a random numbered bar of the 4 produced.
TRADES WELCOME! Crypto or other non-crypto coins.
SEE THE FULL STORY BELOW.
MORE ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND INFO ON OTHER VARIANTS: CASASCIUS History: Casascius made only about 80 or less 100 btc bars, loaded with 100 digital btc and far fewer 1000 btc ones. They only were sold loaded. I have dealt much with Mike Caldwell and in early 2014, after Casascius stopped selling loaded bitcoins due to regulatory issues, was able to work with him and convince him to let go of the only remaining bal of the "empty" 100 bars left. He also had 2- 1000 btc ones left empty. He was not going to let them go as he didn't want to release any unloaded ones as to not confuse anyone and he felt loading them with 100 and 1000 btc loaded was just too much money these days. $30k to $300k, ouch! He came up with and agreed to use "factory "zero btc" holograms. These are not re-manufactured redeemed 100 btc bars, these are factory original and factory produced. There were only 8- 100 btc bars made with regular key, and 4- 100 btc bars made 2FA, and 1- 1000 btc bar 2FA. (actually he did sell another 1000 btc bar on ebay and bids went up to $8k, wow!). We had 1 of the 100 btc bars and traded it for $7500 equivalent. (See picture of it for reference, but no, sorry, it is not available still.) I have provenance of these bars from Mike with PGP signed scan and bunch of emails, and will release/include info with the bar upon purchase. Bars are as received from manufacturer and may contain minor abrasions to gold plating due to handling at the factory. 2FA Bars were was wrapped in clear cellophane for protection. Non 2FA bars are in orig factory thick plastic wrapped and should be mint. (this is normal, all bars I have seen and sold are this way.) Price includes shipping and insurance. *This is one of 12- 100btc bars known produced, of which 4 were stickered "zero btc" with "2FA" Lasered on hologram(2 factor security), other 8 were stickered "zero btc". These have not been shown to the masses until now, just a couple friends/good cust. Only have 2- 2FA, a few non 2FA left. These are very valuable. I have sold/traded a few for around $2k+ ea.
OTHER BARS AVAILABLE: We also have a few of the 100 btc non 2FA bars. The non 2FA is stickered and is unique from Mike. There were only 8 made I believe that were non loaded. To comfortably sell the 100's non loaded non 2FA as not to confuse folks, which was never done before, Mike brainstormed and came up with the idea to add a zero btc holo, place it upside down, and place a sm red dot by the firstbits. (Most reg bars were made in std, not 2FA, as mike used to engrave those on a per order basis and they are time consuming.) To recap: 1. These are the only bars of either the 100, or 1000 denomination that were made and never funded. (Plus Mike did auction a 1000 non loaded bar on ebay for $8700) 2. The 1000 bar was stickered up as 2FA. The 100 bars are stickered as a mixture of 2FA and non 2FA. 3. The Non 2 FA 100's only 8 were made that were never funded. To uniquely identify them, and to be clear that these were not funded, these had a zero BTC hologram, and this was placed upside down on the bars. Additionally a small red dot was placed by the first bits. 4. The 2FA 100's only 4 were made that were never funded. These again have a zero BTC hologram on, but this is placed 'right way up', and has 2 Factor on the hologram. I am unclear if there were any 2FA 100's made that were funded, or if they were non 2fa only (but obviously the unique identifier is the zero BTC holo) 5. The 2FA 1000, is a one of a kind. This again has a zero BTC hologram on, but this is placed 'right way up', and has 2 Factor on the hologram.
Casascius Gold-Plated Savings Bar: Dress your Bitcoins for tomorrow, make them look their best in your vault today. Would weigh about 12 ounces if it were solid gold, this is a 4.2-ounce metal alloy bar with gold plating. A neat-looking novelty that looks unmistakably valuable. This version is a non-denominated savings bar. Bar is 80mm x 40mm x 6mm.

Up for auction is the #4 set of signatures and holos for the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins. I do not plan to do this project again, so this will likely be a one time opportunity. These labels may be used for previous softcovers, current hardcovers, or kept for future editions of the Encyclopedia. A book purchase is not required, nor is a book included. The back of the COA will have a numbered list that will match to a number on the back of each signature/holo, so someone will know who is who. A black 10 3/8" x 4 5/8" genuine leather album is provided. Out of the 50 sets made, 20 were set aside for the hardcover Autograph Edition, 13 were given free to certain coin makers who signed early in the project, and 10 more sets have been sold.
