At that price point I would want to make sure these were authentic signatures, not signed by friends/family etc. If it was $2-3 a signature I probably wouldn't care, but since we're comparing to a legitimate "in-person" convention signing - how is authenticity to be verified? Thats a good question. Many well-known celebrities today will have a secretary / other person sign for them in the mail. Its something I would be more concerned with if writing to some people. I'm not as concerned with our coin makers, as I do trust them. Perhaps I can ask the makers to reply in a PM / thread to vouch for their signatures? Its common also for people to have a one-time picture showing them signing an autograph, though it doesn't ensure that the photo shows the exact moment that person's own label was done. I wish to respect people's privacy, so I don't know if I want to go that route. I'm also open to ideas. The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) gives a written guarantee that these will be authentic, or I will refund your money, provided the labels are still intact, so they can still be returned. It would require some proof that a signature wasn't real, such as the maker's word, as opposed to someone just returning the item due to changing their mind. For top celebrities, their signature can be verified and sent to an independent agency such as UACC, but its unlikely they can verify someone from our community.

If it's 15 people only - that's great! Though 150$ is pretty high for it - can you reduce it ? I would like one for sure if it's like 120$ for 15 I can pay advance Thanks I'll know more of the exact number of people probably in a couple days. I'll commit to pricing then. I dont want to take any pre-orders now until these are on-hand, in probably a month from now.

I think there are around 60 makers in the book. I'm hoping for around 15 to participate.
So $150 to get 15 labels? I could almost buy another book! It seems a bit too much. I respect your opinion. This is an add-on to make your book more personalized. Since I'm gifting many of the sets away as a thank you to the people signing, I wont have as many left to recoup out of pocket costs. This will be a limited serialized edition that can be used in the current or any possible future books that elianite and I produce. Autographs for many very obscure celebrities often are $10-$20 at conventions to sign something of yours, which they aren't factoring in the medium to sign on, shipping back & forth internationally (hopefully no customs), packaging, and time. The pricing for these isn't cheap, but its within the normal range for autographs, especially for a limited serialized set.

I sent some PMs and emails last night to some coin makers. OP updated with Microsoul and TGBEX.
Pricing is planned to be $10 per autograph, sold only as a complete set. Total edition will be 50 sets made, but all coin makers participating will be given a set out of the 50. Total amount released to buyers will be TBD once I know how many coin makers are participating.
Each set will include a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity with the same holo added that was used for the Signature Editions. The labels used are archival acid-free quality with a foil sticker back.
Pre-orders and serial number reservations are not being taken until the signatures are complete, in possibly a month from now.
10$ per autograph sounds fine! But how many Coin makers/Coin types are there exactly in the book - given everyone signs... Also, you can remove that i need book since i bought it Thanks I think there are around 60 makers in the book. I'm hoping for around 15 to participate. if all 60 participate- this is gonna be Costly I'm only doing 50 sets total. If I had 50 makers, all the sets would be given away, so I wont be asking everyone. Plus there's several less known makers that people may not have heard of.

Yeah...seems like raffles have been more popular lately than normal listings or auctions. Maybe people aren't spending their money as freely or they like raffles more. A sniping allowed auction is a recipe for a potentially low ending price.

Congrats! That was really cool! it's on last second - 1 second and would have been bad Thanks I was trying to get it within the last few seconds since sniping was allowed but my cell phone that I used was getting slow service. It took a couple seconds longer than expected for the webpage to load. I was lucky it didn't take longer since it was so close. In any case, you'll probably get the next auction for cheaper since I won't be competing and there didn't seem to be too many people that bid.

I'm only willing to do labels. Now later on, if Elianite wanted to incorporate these labels into a new edition of the book, that could work. But for now, these labels will be available to anyone with an existing copy as well as a new copy from Minerjones.
Ah, but the book being signed is 100x cooler than a label.
I would prefer the book itself but the shipping cost and time for every maker one by one is too much.
I bet Smoothie would sign it if you have not asked him yet. Going to be pricey shipping them all over the world lol... I bet they set a Guinness record for most well traveled books?
I'm just sending individual labels to be signed to all makers at the same time. Books would be too time consuming to wait for each person to be done to go to the next, as well as cost.

Yes, I would be interested as a buyer as well since I have a signature edition coming. You mentioned that it was signed by Gravitate as well? I missed that part in Elianite's thread, if so... Thanks. He hasn't agreed yet. The OP shows the makers who have expressed interest so far. I may send a few makers a PM in a couple days in case they hadn't seen the thread. I'm putting together a list of most of the coin makers who haven't responded yet. I plan to PM / email them within a few days. Many of these don't go on the forum. Some of the makers who may have closed shop (these include for example: BanxMint, Coldco.in, Cryptolator, Jinn, Mike Murphy, Ravenbit, Recalescence, Nolacoins) may not be reachable since they haven't been on the boards for months / years, and/or their website closed, meaning their email is likely not working too. Price and details are still TBD, but once I know more, I can decide on a price that makes sense.

Question regarding these signatures... would the coin makers be signing their actual names? or their online nick/coin name?
I guess I would let them do whatever they are comfortable with. Some people prefer anonymity, but I think many makers identities are known. In my case for the Encyclopedia, I did my real signature large, then under it, I added my screen name. So I had both.
I'd be interested depending on the price but i don't own a copy of the Encyclopedia to start with -so i will need a fully Signed and ready to go copy I suppose I'll send some sets to Minerjones, so he can either send both the book and label set separately, or he will add them.

I guess if people are interested I am willing to sign on behalf of LuckyBit.
From my perspective, I consider you the face of LuckyBit, so yes.
It would be nice if we could get Ravenbit or any of the other defunct manufacturers to participate! I can always PM or email him.
