961  Economy / Collectibles / Re: SELLING MS69 DOGECOIN, ERROR COIN - DIGITALLY on: September 21, 2015, 06:55:01 PM
What did this coin cost you... around $10?

Is this even the limited numbered coin, worth slightly more?

Son of a bitch......forgot about this too.  Nice grab halo

At that price its almost a smash and grab ! I am sure many would have paid more, but didnt bid as they fully expected it to go for more. Halo bought his lotto ticket there, and bagged a winner.

It was much less than I thought it would go for.  I expected to pay at least 1.75B to 2B.

I'll sell you one for 2BTCCool   Congrats to the win (and no disrespect to the auction host, Blazedout)

Appreciate the offer.  I only need the one I got.

Nice grab.

I completely forgot about this.  That's what I get for trying to snipe.

Thanks

Is it over?

Yea on his last auction he had same rules, so you win because your bid was before 1:00:00 AM forum time.

My bid was 2 seconds late and Gigglin was 15 seconds late

Cool.  That's what I thought but wasn't 100% sure

Good ole Con...ographic. I had preordered and lost my BTC for both the 2B silver B and 1B silver Ant that never got made.  I almost bid on the auction for his golds.. the 1B Ant.  The whole operation was a Ponzi scheme.

Has anything happened to him yet?  I recall saigonsmokes over on the other forum talking about prosecution but haven't heard anything for months.

I get chills just thinking of the fiasco.   The CEO was supposedly sick, their hard drive couldn't be read, and god knows what other fake excuses were made.
976  Economy / Collectibles / Re: f*D's Limited Edition "Stage 1 of Ethereum: Frontier' 5" ETH Bars - IN STOCK! on: September 09, 2015, 10:30:08 PM
I would buy 4 cases, since the F*D Bitcoin bars should be the same size

I would be interested.  I'm assuming the reverse has the microsoul or some other hologram over the private key.

Reserved one.  Sending a PM to confirm.
979  Economy / Collectibles / Re: f*D's Limited Edition "Stage 1 of Ethereum: Frontier' 5" ETH Bars - IN STOCK! on: August 31, 2015, 09:41:55 PM
Does anyone attach the hologram for "looks" rather than actually loading the bar??
Kind of like the one in the OP.

Yesterday I used a Ethereum address generator to make QR codes and put the holos over the private keys.  I'm not funding them.  I prefer my DIY to look complete with the holos even if I don't fund them.

Do you feel that this adds to the overall value/resale of a coin/bar??
and
Would you pay more a coin if it was assembled properly (unloaded) vs. DIY un-assembled??

Thanks

Personally I prefer a coin or bar that has been assembled.  I collect rather than store btc so I don't need wallets to store btc personally.  I don't think it adds value but just looks better assembled if it came originally as a diy.

I would pay more to have it assembled, since it takes some hassle out of doing it myself.

I know others prefer these as diy, but for me, I may be the minority.
