41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another uptrend has shaped up trying to break $5600 again on: May 10, 2019, 09:04:53 AM
... All top 100 altcoins are loosing 5-10% daily (alt/btc price).

i am always fascinated by this because all day long you hear how everyone is "believing" in altcoins and creating "portfolios" thinking they are holding valuable assets but as soon as bitcoin price starts rising, all of them show their real faces by dumping all those altcoins and coming back to bitcoin.

that is why i always tell people to look at the market instead of what people say online, the market can never lie but people can.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going up again. on: May 10, 2019, 08:47:04 AM
it is impossible to see a pullback at this point to that magnitude without any major negative reason. the biggest thing that happened was a $40 million dollar hack that happened 2 days ago and it didn't even have a tiny negative effect on the price and despite that price continued rising and went above $5000.
so you can only imagine what kind of negative news we need that is bigger than what we already had to bring price down that much as that weird clickbait article was suggesting.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of these hacks? on: May 10, 2019, 08:31:38 AM
Whenever there happens a hack people get a negative opinion on bitcoin. ...

i disagree. mainly because i have never heard someone say some exchange was hacked so bitcoin is bad! anybody who has a negative opinion about bitcoin is usually having that because of the volatile price, lost of FUD and lack of understanding of how bitcoin works not because some careless third party services lacked security.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will at least one federal bank starts holding btc in upcoming crypto summer? on: May 10, 2019, 08:18:00 AM
if by "upcoming crypto summer" you mean this year where bitcoin price will be rising most of the year. then the answer is obviously no because banks are still stuck in their illusion of power and the fact that bitcoin can't defeat them which is why they keep spreading FUD against bitcoin instead of adopting it.
but in my opinion it will happen, not in form of investment but in form of offering services as the banks normally do. services like exchanging, loans,...
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: May 10, 2019, 08:07:15 AM
the irreversible transaction feature was introduced to bitcoin by Satoshi in order to solve a very serious issue that everyone using the old payment systems have been facing for years and have led to millions of scams. that feature was charge back of systems such as Paypal.
right now bitcoin offers a strong security and another level of security specific to merchants who are receiving the payments and don't have to worry about it being reversed and the headaches of proving they were scammed to that centralized system.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you think Bitcoin will be by the end of 2019? on: May 10, 2019, 07:56:03 AM
there is a ton of FUD around which only proves that there are a lot of people who have been left behind with the current rise. in other words there are a lot of investors who wanted to buy but didn't because they thought price would fall more and now they have FIAT to invest. all this fiat is going to come in shortly as they give up waiting and that leads to more rises. and as rises become more common, that attracts more investors and more rises.
the result is at least $10k by the end of the year possibly more if more positivity is seen in the market.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Care of security and don't store your coins on exchanges! on: May 08, 2019, 10:00:15 AM
people will never learn, their greed and laziness will always get the better of them and they will end up storing their coins on exchanges and sooner or later they lose all of them in a blinking of an eye.
we have had dozens of cases of exchanges being hacked or simply scamming their users and running away. MTGox, Cryptsy, Btter, Bittrex, Bitfinex, ... and now Binance.
and in most of these case the first mistake people made was to trust the exchange just because it had a large volume and was "popular".
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trading Above $5,500 Could Prepare Bitcoin For Mega Upward Movement – Analyst on: May 08, 2019, 09:44:34 AM
right now there still is a lot of drama against bitcoin working day and night to prevent this rise but the good news is that despite all the FUD and the attempts that has been happening in prevention of the rise, the rise is still very strong. price not only stayed above $5500 but it even reached a new stable higher price at $5800 and if this slow rise keeps up we can see above $6k with the same trend.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 08, 2019, 09:38:32 AM
it depends on what you mean by "enter bitcoin".

some people "enter bitcoin" thinking they can buy some, hold it for a while (HODL) and then become millionaires aka get rich quickly. well that is not going to work and i would never suggest anybody to do that.

some others only enter as an investment to make profit (basically a less severe case like the first one). i wouldn't suggest that either.

but if it is to start owning the only decentralized currency that works strongly and worldwide without any problems, then there is not bad time to "enter" bitcoin.
50  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance losing 7000 BTC and the consequences of a ROLL Back on: May 08, 2019, 09:12:58 AM
haha, Binance dudes have been swimming around in so much shitcoins that have started thinking bitcoin might be like one of those where every time they mess up they can ask for an undo button.
life doesn't have an undo button, neither does bitcoin. besides, unlike shitcoins like ethereum that did roll back, immutability means something here in bitcoin.
51  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance lost $40.7 million to hackers, which exchange is next!!! on: May 08, 2019, 08:42:22 AM
once again another centralized exchange proves that they are all incompetence when it comes to security and they will eventually leak your data and your money to hackers and many of them will scam you themselves by stealing your money and calling it a "hack".
it was last week that i was telling everyone that they shouldn't trust an exchange just because it is popular and has high volume.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: May 05, 2019, 11:38:39 AM
It is not like other lottery programs, we'll buy a lottery ticket in a physical store after you placing an order and then give your money back via blockchain if you winning a reward.

anybody can go out and buy a lottery ticket for themselves with their own money without needing a third party to do it for them. also without the risk of involving another person in it! then if they won the lottery they can simply buy bitcoin with the reward if they choose to!
so what is the point of your service?

Thank you for your reply!
You cannot buy lotteries from other country or region. In fact, there are some third-party sites doing the same thing like us, but they usually have a high processing fee(and they won't tell you that). So I'm planning to make it cheaper by blockchain.

ok, that makes more sense with this explanation.
now the only thing left is to come up with a way to make people trust you by guaranteeing them their winning amount in case they did get lucky and won the lottery. and that is going to be hard.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto suffer from inflation? on: May 05, 2019, 08:55:49 AM
you can easily go to coinmarketcap.com or any other website like that which lists the supply of coins and then bring up their whole list (not just the top X list) and then add all the supplies in that list. the number you come up with has somewhere around 18-20 zeros in front of it. that should answer your question about "inflation" of crypto. which will also raise the question of do we really need that many coins!!! there isn't even that many people in the world...
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right or wrong path? on: May 05, 2019, 08:45:31 AM
you are actually on a very bad path.
the path of bounties and airdrops has a lot of downsides, for starers you have to advertise all of these projects before they pay you and since they are all scams, you are going to be associated with scammers and you can never say you were just an advertiser/worker. you will be a part of the scam.
additionally they can give you the illusion of being good in this market for example when they get pumped and you suddenly make money from that pump many end up thinking they can earn money from the market and when they enter after a couple of times their luck runs out and they see the real and ugly side of the "dumps" that come after all of those pumps.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another uptrend has shaped up trying to break $5600 again on: May 05, 2019, 08:36:06 AM
UPDATE:
the uptrend seems to still have a strong buy support behind it and the general market attitude seems to want the price to go upwards but that is not the only force, another force against this has shaped up that is keeping the breakout from happening and it is still because of a couple of FUDs about bitcoin including the bitfinex one and also a new one about China.
the result in my opinion is only postponing the breakout for a little while. we may see the rise by next week.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 05, 2019, 08:11:25 AM
the only way Satoshi Nakamoto can be found is if he himself decides to reveal himself some day in the future which is highly unlikely because someone who has protected his identity from the start is not going to change his mind suddenly and come out!
so we may see this happen by his children for example in 80 years from now we may see someone reveal that (s)he is the child of Satoshi for historical reasons only!
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why? on: May 05, 2019, 07:57:30 AM
he might have only checked the technology of Ethereum and what it says on its website and what it was supposed to do. basically the idea which is great in my opinion and i was in fact in love with ethereum in its early days because of that "idea" but the "execution" of that idea has been horrible that is why ethereum is a shitcoin right now with all the centralization, the lack of immutability, lack of security, exploits, roll backs, no scaling whatsoever,...

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are tokens a distraction from BTC? Is LN mass adoption ready? We'll know soon on: May 03, 2019, 08:37:34 AM
there is no war since nobody is using these browsers really. 99.99% of the world are still using Google Chrome, Firefox, and the couple of others that they used to use. not to mention that Brave has been around for a while and has not gained any grounds despite having the option to accept multiple cryptocurrencies in it.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full list of truly decentralized currencies. on: May 03, 2019, 08:30:20 AM
I thought that the only coin that meets your requirement is the only dogecoin. Most of the other coins are having pre mine. We are talking about a coin that included in top 100 CMC.

(bitcoin is obvious so i won't mention it!) you forgot about litecoin if you are only talking about the top 100 big market cap coins. it had no premine and it is a stand alone blockchain with no ICO or any centralization.

i am very interested in seeing OP's list though. please make sure to share it with us.
