The fuck you talking about, what he made is engineering stuffs, and engineers is fundamentally ready for scientific stuffs.

Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems. Engineers figure out how things work and find practical uses for scientific discoveries. Scientists and inventors often get the credit for innovations that advance the human condition, but it is engineers who are instrumental in making those innovations available to the world.

Bear in mind that he is a MECHANICAL ENGINEER, the most versatile engineering in the whole engineering curriculum, mechanical tackles all about the elements of machineries, structural analysis, and many more.

What he's doin right now is mainly engineering, and he is licensed to do that cause he is indeed an engineer.

Your mind is what tickles me that you only believe that "SCIENTISTS" are the only one who can make something out of nothing, doofoos.

What you are doing right now is being envious of his achievements, and that is pretty toxic

Nope. He is a rich guy, with rich parents. He is a liar and a narcissist who failed upwards.

Take Zip2 for example. The code he wrote was absolutely useless so none of it was used. Professional programmers had to re-write anything that Musk wrote.

Take Tesla for example. He wasn't a founder of the company, he simply put a lot of money in it. He didn't really contribute to the design and making of the car and he fucked over one of the initial founders who was supposed to get the first car off the line.

Take the idea of the hyperloop and his original white paper which burns with the power of 1000 facepalms.

He was talking about using compressed air inside of a vacuum. Let that sink in.

He is rich enough that he could get any University degree that doesn't make a man smart.

He is a terrible programmer and he is barely scientifically literate.

To further add to what an asshole Musk is he forces his workers to work long hours and forced them to work throughout the early days of the pandemic.

A lot of his achievements have been done before.

Take the achievement of putting an electric car in space.

Somehow everyone forgot that we used to drive an electric car on the fucking moon more than 20 years before I was even born. Before we even had digital clocks and powerful computers.

Every time his company launches humans there is about a 5% chance I figure that they all die. Maybe it won't happen today, or this year but we'll see it in the news.

Elon Musk gets off on being worshipped and thought of as smart. He is the epitome of a pseudoscientist and I hate that. People like that get celebrated while someone like the actual Nikola Tesla died poor and with extensive mental illness.

Like professor Farnsworth, I don't wanna live on this planet anymore.

I have to live my Bitcoin and other crypto to somebody and go find the bottom of the ocean if I wanna be happy but alas, here we are. Me arguing with someone who not only will not see the error of their ways, but who will also call me jealous and stuff.

If you're wondering what the fuck I'm talking about I suggest you learn to read. Because you clearly don't know how to.

There are also hours of videos documenting all of this on YouTube.

Here are some:

Debunking Elon Musk pt1

Debunking Elon Musk pt2

Elon Musks Dumbest Fans: BUSTED
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4z0cgcBLBc

I recommend the first two to you since you have bought into the Musk clult and these people had also to an extent (like most people who believe the mainstream media narrative on the world).

I hope you get successfully demusked and please. Don't bother replying if you at least don't watch the first of the three videos. Maybe you can't read the words I'm writing or you can't bother to, or maybe you can't read fast enough to even read one of my posts in your entire lifetime but maybe there is hope for you yet. Should I put so much toxicity in my post. Do I really wish you ill? No. I don't even know you. Based on your behavior so far, I don't want to. But people change and sometimes even for the better. I know I'm not making it easy for you and honestly I don't care and I don't really have to.

42  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stop Worshipping Elon Musk on: May 15, 2021, 05:48:49 AM

Let me stop you with this crazy envy you're spreading.

What Elon Musk does is making the theoretical work into motion, it is science. There is theoretical and experimental, and although it is sad to say, but Experimental scientist normally takes all the glory even though theoretical does all the math and the concept while experimental does the product and the overall usable item that is theorized.

Another thing, Musk not just rediscover and materialize ideas, he also innovates the idea to be set in motion.

The thing about paper works that is theorized is that it will remain in paper unless someone do the work to make it into reality, and MUSK did it. Imagine your citation is decades ago yet it is only now when it is finally materialized and became a product.

The courage to believe in someone is what Musk done, and you might even have the courage to do so, but your envy is so full that you want him to be "FAKE" in your eyes

Repeat after me. Elon Musk is not a scientist. Elon Musk hasn't contributed to the advancement of science. Elon Musk is a rich man with an overinflated sense of self worth.

Please do me a favor and at least skim the OP so you see my point of view. If you're too lazy to do that there is also a whole ass YouTube video.

Do you believe the hyperloop is a good idea? Elon does. The hyperloop will never work. Here's one reason. All it takes is a small hole in a vacuum tube and it turns into a giant potato canon. Everyone dies.

Here is another reason. Metal expands when hot. Unlike rails which do not need vacuum seals the hyperloop could never survive that.

Here are other stupid ideas by "Genius" elon musk. Dig tunnels under cities to move more cars into cities with already inadequate parking. Make the tunnels so small that an accident or fire will suffocate everyone in the tunnel.

Yes, you fell for the hype. I'm sorry. I'm the kind of person who understand at least a little bit of science and physics and what is currently practical. Elon Musk clearly doesn't.

He isn't a scientist. In fact he is barely scientifically literate.

I don't have the time or inclination to go into depth but I fucking hate how everyone falls for his shit. What will it take for people to wake up?

I don't want any of you lemmings feeling ashamed. We all have been wrong one time or another. The only way forward is thinking critically about the ideas he is proposing and soon enough you'll see it.

He is just a big fat fraud. He is not a scientist, he was perhaps a competent enough programmer to get paypal off the ground. He is probably getting dumber as we speak.

He is just a rich man with a giant ego.
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stop Worshipping Elon Musk on: May 15, 2021, 05:36:36 AM
Elon musk though not a god, happens to be one of the most successful individuals in the planet, and we have to give him credit for that. It is also very normal for successful people to be celebrated and people to be drawn to them. Although there are other very successful individuals as well, it just so happens that Elon musk is one of the most outspoken when crypto is concerned thus creating an influence.

He has discovered that he is very instrumental to the price of crypto currency and is using this new found influence to the full benefit.

So we should celebrate him just because he's rich? Maybe you skimmed my entire post. Just watch that video if reading is such a chore.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pNL7MlUpmI

Every time I believe my posts are too low effort I'm rewarded by seeing nearly no-one read a word I type and replying. Perhaps I should start getting active on twitter. I get it now. I get why twitter is so popular. I never understood how to use it. But I might have to learn. People have forgotten how to at least skim through posts. Damn.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / "Satoshi set the total supply of bitcoins to 21 Million" is nonsense on: May 13, 2021, 05:23:06 PM
You hear it in every video of someone explaining Bitcoin. Isn't it more accurate to say that the reward will keep halving so that there will never be more than 21 million bitcoins?

There has to be a better way to put it. But from my understanding there is no direct rule within bitcoin's code/protocols that limits bitcoins to 21 Million other than the mathematical rules that govern the mining reward.

It bothers me to hear this over and over to be honest.
45  Other / Politics & Society / Stop Worshipping Elon Musk on: May 13, 2021, 01:41:17 PM
For years and years, I've been talking about how Elon Musk is the most overrated person on the planet. How he hasn't invented anything. How the Tesla company is taking a shit on Nikola Tesla's name.

But I did it somewhat halfheartedly because I thought that it's cool that someone is making electric cars. It's quite clear though that Elon's cars are too expensive and they're probably going to be made in an anti-consumer fashion where you won't be able to repair them yourself or buy parts off the shelf but have to fork more money to Elon.

Over the years Elon's projects have gotten more and more retarded and I can't believe people still worship him and the media still takes his promises without question.

It's all so unbelievable to watch.

Take his hyperloop idea. Someone came up with that in 1799:

Quote from: wikipedia
In 1799, George Medhurst of London conceived of and patented an atmospheric railway that could convey people or cargo through pressurized or evacuated tubes. The early atmospheric railways and pneumatic tube transport systems (such as the Dalkey Atmospheric Railway) relied on steam power for propulsion.

Elon Musk not only is trying to sell this idea as his but people also worship him as some sort of genius inventor/ superhero, like he is a real life Iron Man and hyperbolic nonsense like that.

Not only is it not an original idea, but it's not even a good one. If you wanna get into specifics Thunderf00t has a lot of content on the topic on his YouTube Channel.

The idea didn't work in the 1799-1950 era and it doesn't work now. It's not practical unless you have infinite resources and advanced technology. Maybe in the year 2400 it will work right after we invent teleportation and everyone will have 5 sex robots retrofitted into personal assistants.

Also his space efforts are really CO2 intensive. You can't argue this guy is good for the environment when SpaceX is proposing to take passengers on ballistic trajectories from one place on earth to the other (see SpaceX BFR). That's another idea that will never work.

I could go on and on but someone made a really succinct video on why Elon Musk sucks that I think could get to people so please share that.

Video Title:              Elon Musk Is Not Your Friend - SOME MORE NEWS
Youtube Channel:     Some More News
Runtime:                 43 minutes 42 seconds

I would write more stuff but I'm getting ready for work, also I don't have to time or wish to put more effort into my post. I'm just typing this out, I'll probably have typos left in by the time I post. I might come back to this topic and do it justice but knowing me I probably won't.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: May 09, 2021, 01:32:04 PM
Now it is too difficult to correctly understand what will be expensive in a long time, not to mention short positions. It all depends on the group of people who gather around the project. I would like to clarify with people in this topic 3 ideas for investment for the next 2-3 months?

When I recommended Syscoin, it's for the long term. It's a smallcap so there can be huge gains. The team has been there forever working even at the worst of price conditions so it's not a project that will disappear overnight.

If you're trying to make profit by timing the market (in the next 2-3 months) forget about it. No-one knows what going to go increase or decrease in the short term. The market isn't rational like that.

Unless you're willing to risk all of your funds don't try and time the market.

Syscoin is incredibly underrated for what it offers. It deserves to be in the top 5 yet it's like 150-200.

It just decreased in price after a price spike so it's not a bad time to buy (this is not investment advice)

The market cap of syscoin is currently about 293, let's call it 300 Million. It deserves to be in the top 5, it deserves a 300 Billion market cap. So it has a potential (especially if the rest of the crypto market increases) to do 1000x, that's 100,000%

That's over the long term. That's how I see it.

Of course like anything else it could just end up as a dead project if things don't pan out. Unlike many other projects the Syscoin team has proven themselves time after time since 2014.

Another project I'm interested in is Helium but I have no idea how it works yet so I got to figure it all out. Not that I'm all that technically competent, this is only my opinion after all, it's not investment advice.

This crypto space of ours is very volatile very risky especially if you're trying to invest.

None of this is investment advice and I'm not acting as a fiduciary. But I am being honest. Never risk more than what you can afford to lose.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: May 09, 2021, 11:58:40 AM
Syscoin all the way. It's the most undervalued project I know of right now. It's been around since 2014 there was an ICO and the escrow run away with all the project's Bitcoins. The developers kept working on it anyway, even without the funds.

Today they even have a publically traded company whose main project is the syscoin platform.

Syscoin can do many of the things Ethereum can do, just much better.

It can support more transactions than a credit card network at smaller fees (a cent or two), on that alone it deserves more adoption.

It's environmentally friendly and secure at the same time by being merge mined with bitcoin.

It rewards long term holders by having a masternode network (and if you don't have enough money to get a masternode you can pool funds and have masternodes set up with other people in such a way that there are multiple payment addresses)

Long term Masternode operators get a seniority bonus which could be quite lucrative so a lot of people will be hodling for the long term probably decades.

Syscoin as a platform is the perfect place for people to build projects like other cryptos or NFTs. The team behind syscoin just launched an NFT marketplace.

The only problem is that there is very little adoption but with a dedicated team like Syscoin's I think it's only a matter of time.

None of this is financial advice, and I don't recommend investing in Syscoin but if you choose to do you have to do your own due dilligence.

Syscoin to the moon.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I die can someone achieve my btc. on: April 23, 2021, 05:21:11 PM
This is something I wanna do to. Even if only to ease the burden of my passing. Burning a corpse to ashes takes about $1000 in the US and then they'll need to fix up my room and clean up my mess.

So.... Well. Yeah. But I don't even have a last will and testament or whatever. I need to get on it. Doggone it.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: Random As hell short story/novella discussion? on: April 23, 2021, 01:54:47 PM
Sanders is much more reliable than Hillary. Let's read Sanders's remarks after his election, calm and pragmatic, objective and rational. In the middle, there is actually a period of "I will keep an open mind to see what Trump puts forward and how we can work together", which opened up the distance from Xipo. Hillary Clinton defeated Sanders by relying on backstage, cheating and female identity, and then tore with Trump in the general election, can only say: Lower Trump to the same level as yourself, and want to use her rich experience (bad experience) )defeat him.
If Sanders and Trump campaign, we will see two politicians with brains, ideas and foresight in debating, instead of an idiot vs. a mouthpiece. Sad husband! I hope the next president can see Sanders vs. Trump. But age energy may not allow it.

What in the actual fudge are you on about? This isn't the right topic so. I got all excited I thought someone actually read sandkings. Get outta here.
50  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I turn my spare time into money (In The USA) on: April 17, 2021, 01:37:02 PM
I think first you need to ask yourself - Who am I? What am I here for? Where am I aiming? And then you know what you really need to do. And if money is needed for this, then it will appear with you by itself, as if you were using magic. And these are not just words, it always works for everyone. Personally, I would do it this way.

Yeah.... That's not how any of this works.

That's just what's called wishful thinking. If that was true every kid would be harry potter and every homeless person a king.

I know there used to be (still is?) a book called the secret that was trying to sell this nonsense to people for a premium. Now that's a way to turn your spare time into money, but I'm not a  scammer so that's not for me.
51  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Is Google different now? on: April 14, 2021, 02:48:28 PM
Real world example of why I posted this in Ivory Tower.

My cat just died a few days after receiving a vaccine. The mainstream narrative for vaccines is that they are so fucking safe. I'm not an anti vaxxer in fact I just got my first shot of the covid-19 vaccine this very day.

It seems that searching for the issue of cats suddenly dying after vaccines what I'm looking for has to leak through quite a lot of Google's filters. It's all really fresh and I'll still be looking.

I'm very pissed off about my cat dying. I understand it's unlikely it's the vaccine but I'd love to be able to use the google of the early 2000s instead of what we have today to easily find out more about the issue.

Who's up for discussing Sandkings by GRRM?

It's arguably his best short story and it is so fucking worth reading. If you don't wanna read it you can even listen to it on YouTube.

53  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is death the end or there is more to it? on: April 07, 2021, 02:02:32 AM
I drowned once. There was no pain, I just lost some time, and then woke up to some basic CPR. I was under for maybe 1-2 mins.

I assume death is the same thing as dreamless sleep or nonexistence. It's the same thing as before you were born.

There will be proof that you existed, at least for a time. Some people say that you aren't really dead until everyone you knew forgets you.
54  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I turn my spare time into money (In The USA) on: April 04, 2021, 03:45:55 PM
learn languages and you'll have a lot of money

I'm already fluent in two languages. (Greek and English) and I could quickly become fluent in Spanish, I also have an interest in Chinese and Japanese.

But how is that going to get me money?
55  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I turn my spare time into money (In The USA) on: April 03, 2021, 12:57:48 PM
OP here

For the record, I do have a job and I'm not desperate for cash, but I'm looking at all the cool stocks I can buy in the stock market so that I can be rich in the future. Eventually I wanna live off dividends.

Even a little money now, means that I could potentially be financially free. And money now is worth a lot more than money later when you put it in the stock market.

Money + Wise Investing+ Time = Growth

So extra spare time when I don't make more money to invest is time wasted. I wanna get to that point that I'm financially free so that I am the sole master of my destiny. I don't wanna have a boss and I don't want to have my friends give me stuff because I'm not gonna buy them for myself because I don't want to spend the money because I don't have the money to spend.

Get me?

In the US I could even become a human cow if I was desperate enough (it's legal), you're "donating" plasma, and drug companies make a fortune off of you while you get pennies on the dollar on the cost of your own proteins.

For the record dog-walking if I can somehow fit it into my schedule where it doesn't affect me going to the places I love would be okay. Say I have an awkward half hour before work that I can walk a dog and make some money that would be great.

I wish there were job offers like that, like work at construction but only for 1 hour and get some sort of pay, that would be awesome but it's probably difficult for it to work efficiently.

I think I might just look for a day-job that pays more, or maybe I can get another job at night that I can just earn some extra money and pour it all into investing.
56  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I turn my spare time into money (In The USA) on: March 31, 2021, 03:31:29 PM
Learn a valuable skill. It will pay off in the future more than any unskilled service you could provide now.

Are we talking japanese or underwater welding?

I already have a job and I do it well and it's specialized but underappreciated.

I like your advice more than anything else. I'm really not desperate for cash so learning a new skill is definitely better.
There would be bonus points in learning a new skill while getting paid for it. Maybe if I can get money for fishing or something.

About a year from now I might sell my soul to the government (join the military) just for how valuable the training can be. Plus if I stick around for 20 years I can retire with forever money (although not much and I might not end up needing it to begin with so 20 years of my life is hardly worth it)
57  Other / Off-topic / How do I turn my spare time into money (In The USA) on: March 31, 2021, 11:35:54 AM
I got some extra spare time next week and I wouldn't mind having some extra spare funds since I don't wanna touch my crypto portfolio before it completely moons.

I've thought about dog walking. Any other ideas?
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: March 25, 2021, 12:54:14 PM
It's a terrible idea. Here are the reasons.

1. Bitcoin is at an all time high and can crash 90% just for laughs.
2. The taxi is a tool that allows her to use her time to earn money. If she can't find another source of income that is as good as her taxi, she's throwing away her means of survival.

It's just a bad idea all around. At this point this leaves the realm of investing into the realm of gambling. If these were funds that she could afford to lose (like extra savings) then
that's a different discussion altogether.

I'd explain that to her. I'd let her know of the price history of bitcoin, in particular the crashes and help her understand the risks.

Yes, bitcoin could go up massively but it could also go down massively.

Finally, and this is important, is she selling a physical taxi, or some sort of taxi medallion (like in new york). I find it hard to believe it would be a good idea in most situations to sell a vehicle for a source of investment funds as you always lose money on selling vehicles (unless you already bought used and fixed it up or a collectible).
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why kids born in 2140 don`t get a chance to mine rewards? on: March 23, 2021, 02:50:29 AM
pizzalover420 strikes again!

It's been answered before 1000 times, but I'll reiterate it. The transaction fee will completely replace the mining reward way before 2140.

As computers get better we may be able to increase the amount of transactions as well, more transaction = bigger fee.

But the biggest thing you need to realize is that no-one is entitled to new bitcoin. The rollout is what it is, a rollout. The future generations will just have to put value in to get bitcoins.

Bitcoin is never going to be all the value in the universe. Real value exists from the ability to perform services.

If you're not strong enough to get your own water or repair your house and you have bitcoin, you can pay that younger person in bitcoin to help you, or die. Who is really rich then?

60  Other / Off-topic / Let's all play together! (An OGame clone)! on: March 22, 2021, 09:24:56 PM
OGame was an awesome game. Nothing ever felt quite like it. The stakes were high and there was always intrigue and backstabbing.

The only problem is that there are too many pay2win elements and that once a universe starts you can be very far behind other players.

That's where Xorbit comes in and they are opening 2 new universes, one is in only 3 days. Xorbit doesn't seem to be pay2win at all, just running on passion for the game.

Do you wanna form an alliance with me and kick ass?

There seems to only be very few active players and I never played that game but I know it's gonna be a lot of fun.

Doesn't hurt to try it out.

Edit: I tried the game. It's a buggy mess of a clone, there has to be better.
