41  Local / India / Re: Whats happening with Binance/WazirX on: April 06, 2021, 11:54:17 PM
There may be some issues with UPI payment with Indian Crypto exchanges in the last few days. But I still trust WazirX the most because it is backed by Binance. I am not saying that other crypto exchanges are fraud or anything but WazirX has Binance to back them. Even in 2019 when around 7000 BTC were stolen from Binance by hackers, no user suffered any loss.
The question will be how many times they can afford to loose that kind of money and still be in the market. We have seen many exchanges shutting their doors after major attacks and Binance is still there and how long they can afford to do that if they face another hack. So trust is momentary as it can change.

The site was upgrading their database and so was the reason they disabled withdrawals and the site was really slow daily trading volume has increased to $278 millions which is crazy.

Just curious to see how things will work in a situation like this.
With all the hurdles and the increasing case of corona virus means the BCCI will be forced to move the tournament elsewhere or will suffer the same fate as PSL and if that happens they have the money to move the tournament entirely to any other safe country and continue the matches within a month and i am not sure when PCB is planning to resume the PSL .
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Marvel featuring Bitcoin!!😀 on: April 03, 2021, 11:59:06 PM
Due to this news, the people will be probably awaken on what bitcoin is by just including or featuring this into the Marvel it is surely that there would be probably some investors and people attracted on it and maybe on the next few days they will invest on bitcoin. This was probably a great marketing to introduce more on ehat bitcoin really is and wait there's more, the thread also says that it is not just the bitcoin but also the bounties that we might get in bitcoin.
We have past that time where you need advertisement for bitcoin, everyone knows about bitcoin even though majority have not invested in it, the movies are showing bitcoin because it is the trend of the financial world and people can relate to it. If they have shown about bitcoin in 2015 or before then we could say that it was a good advertisement but not anymore.
44  Local / India / Re: India Banning Cryptos on: April 02, 2021, 11:49:56 PM
Parliament session is over without the bill. That means either government will make changes in the bill as demanded by crypto community or it will postpone it for few years and maintain the status quo.
Not sure about that and there is no clarity on what they are planning to do, one thing i know is that the government has asked companies to report their cryptocurrency holdings when they file the financial statement next month which means all the exchanges in India will hand over the customer data to the government. Will see what happens next after collecting all these data, will they start freezing bank accounts or monitor our transactions is to be seen.

I don't think you are correct here. Government has asked companies to report their crypto holdings when filing financial statement - this does not mean exchanges in India have to hand over their customer data to the government. Not sure how did you arrive at this inference. In a way this is good because it means that government is moving towards regulation (which is good) instead of outright crypto ban. We just have to see if government also asks individuals to declare their crypto holdings while filing IT Returns.
Let me explain that to you, you agree that the government asked companies to report their crypto holdings when filing financial statement right, what happens with the exchanges they need to disclose their personal company holdings majority customer funds stored in the exchange and what do you think will happen, they will be providing those customer information as well and it is not a big deal for a government to ask for all the customer data from these exchanges and if they are planning to ban they can target these users.

46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 28, 2021, 11:21:02 PM
We have seen some upsets and Joshua has the tools to beat Fury. I think this is more of a mental game now, the fighter with the bigger heart have a high chance of winning. Although Fury is the favourite because of his demolition of Wilder, Joshua was proven himself as well when he extract his revenge against Ruiz Jr. So that alone tells us that Joshua has the heart of a champion.
If you talk about the heart of a champion Tyson Fury already displayed that, when you are against the fence how you overcome that and Fury showed in the first fight against Wilder when he was down and how he recovered and countered his attack and Joshua when he was against the fence against Ruiz he was not able to make any changes and showed the heart of a champion in the fight, in the rematch he won but not during the fight.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 27, 2021, 11:57:12 PM
I'm ok with the momentum I'm ok with the price, if Bitcoin crash to $10k level it's a big dump and it's like a pandemic effect or scenario, or a majority of investors have lost their trust in the market, and it will take some time or a lot of effort for the community to get investor's confidence to go back in the market, or there's a possibility that the market will be down for a long period of time.
Whenever there is a major crash in the market everyone talks about majority of the investors loosing interest but we will see that the interest will be back after a gap of 3 years and once the halving takes place the market will gain momentum once again and then you will see huge investments coming in, so these things are momentary according to the market situation and will change according to the market trends.

When it comes to Morgan i do agree that he is struggling now but he has won matches from unexpected circumstances and he is an integral part of the team.
If England is looking at Morgan to lead the team for the next world cup later this year he needs to gain the experience in playing in these conditions and i am not sure whether he is a part of any IPL team and if that is the case if he is getting the opportunity it will help him out. His lack of experience in playing in these conditions might be the reason for his struggles and one good innings and he will be back in form.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: A 70% Drop May Occur after BTC Hitting Around $68,700 on: March 25, 2021, 11:21:44 PM
We all know that a crash is always a possibility, in fact we have seen the support level at 53k has been broken which may indicate and even more important downward movement during the next days,
Anyone who sold all of their holdings will be waiting for that moment where they could once again purchase the coins and even though a crash in inevitable we have no idea how much low it will go.

however a crash of 70% will require very specific circumstances for it to happen and I simply do not see those circumstances appearing any time soon, for that to happen we would have to be in a market completely filled with greed and making all kind of risky bets and that is not currently the state of the market.
The specific circumstances will be the institutional investors that were pumping billions in the market and once they book their profit the market will crash and there you got your circumstances  Cheesy.

Not sure whether we will be having a 70% crash, it all depends upon the market momentum and the global financial situation.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase fined USD 6.5 million for inflating trading and liquidity on: March 23, 2021, 11:25:12 PM
Coinbase has been fined for using multiple trading accounts and algorithms that created the illusion of a more liquid and active market for bitcoin and litecoin on their GDAX professional trading platform.
If the situation is true and if they really mess with the real data then they needs to pay for the fraud as people usually look for liquidity and if they were faking those data then they need to pay for it.

It comes as no surprise to most people on this forum, as most exchanges use market making bots or these are active on behalf of liquidity pools. It is just the fact that multiple accounts were used undisclosed the main argument for this fine.
It is not new that exchanges are faking their date to attract the users but for an exchange like Coinbase who is registered in the US they should know better that they will get into trouble.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tether the Best Stable Coin on: March 23, 2021, 10:51:38 PM
Maybe for transfer or trading purposes, USDT is good.
But for long term holding, I am not confident on this stable coin.
As their actual assets is somewhat questionable to me.
For trading and transferring USDT is a good option because of the high volatility and mostly it is used for P2P trading as well and like you said i am also not confident in holding the coin for the long term because of the constant issues they land and the number of coins they mint during every bitcoin rally and i checked for the transparency and i could not find any and that is a problem moving forward.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: March 23, 2021, 09:57:29 PM
I guess know bitcoin or cryptocurrency really change the way how I handle money and my investment, I only know bitcoin when the price was around 400$ but I didn't invest because I don't have the money to start investing and I don't really know, and believed in bitcoin at that time or let just say I'm just a beginner and don't have enough experience.
I was happy to be mature enough to understand the revolution when the price was below thousand dollars and i knew the market would catch up even though i did not expect the price to reach over $50k in a short period of time but i was happy because i was able to book my biggest profit in my life and i am still holding the coins and looking to see how long the rally continues.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big chance to buy BNB coin with cheap price. CLICK HERE!!! on: March 23, 2021, 08:43:26 PM
No doubts it’s a big news in this bullish markets. But I have some doubts that BNB still in undervalued/lower price? I last time see it was 40$ and it went from there to 300+. Maybe it will more and more someday. But I think it will survive to make next move from here. It’s my personal opinion but who knows what will? Nobody know bnb hit 300+ in this sort period?. So anything can happen.
If you really think that BNB is undervalued you can invest in them hoping that the price would reach a certain valuation and there are similar markets that might have turned into a rest house because of their attitude and showing that they are capable of these insane acts and luckily they were caught in the act and sentence for a long time.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will TRX go to new ATH on: March 23, 2021, 07:47:37 PM
It seems like Justin is on the action to use his marketing skill to pump any of his projects. TBH, trading won't be enough to hit new ATH as it might help to spread the name of TRX towards new users who just entered into this bull market. But, Justin sun's always been a god of marketing to make profits from any situation. So, sooner or later TRX or other sub projects will pump because Justin will do some marketing along with century mining and trading competition in the upcoming days.
I am not a huge follower of Justin Sun nor am i following his actions unless it hits the mainstream news channels as he is always vocal about multiple things just to flex his power and if that helps in gaining momentum for his coins it is well and good for the investors.

What are the other projects Justin is overlooking and is he able to attract new people into the platform.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 23, 2021, 03:46:41 PM
Bairstow is in beast mode and bullying every one, its also shows that how beautifully English bowlers bowled in the 1st powerplay against the Indian openers.
You think hey we got the breakthrough but then Stokes comes in, then he goes. You think again wow!! Only to realize that next 2 batsmen are Eoin Morgan and Jos buttler  Grin Grin.
India need to keep thing tight in the middle order..

LORD THAKUR !!!! haha
I thought England will run away with the match because they got a really good start and i even placed a small bet for England to win after seeing that start and their star studded batting lineup.

Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul are back in form after a string of failed innings and Krunal Pandya batted well and picked up a wicket on his debut and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is always the miser with his accurate line and length and Shardul Thakur is a master against left hand batsman with his slower balls and variations.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to this... What's causing the current selloff? on: March 23, 2021, 02:29:25 PM
I see my portfolio has lost around 5% over the past couple of hours. So I searched the internet expecting to find some kind of explanation to no avail. I figured another govt issued a negative statement regarding crypto or something. But that doesn't seem to be the case. If anything, the news stories about crypto seem to be positive today. So can anyone tell me what causes dips like this?
There is no specific reason for a minor correction, we need to see that the market was rallying for a long time and you should expect a minor correction here and there. I could not find a specific reason for the correction but we can say that the resistance was strong  Grin.

Also, at what point are you guys prepared to sell to protect against a crash? Do most of you have sell stop orders on the books to protect against a crash? Thanks in advance!
If there is a huge swing in price especially after a correction of around 10% to 20% i will book my entire profit.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like India is perhaps serious about banning cryptocurrency on: March 23, 2021, 01:40:46 PM
I am from India and I would say that 20 million is somewhere close to the actual number. Nowadays almost every individual in the 18-35 age group I come across is a Bitcoin investor. It is like a craze now, with even those living in rural areas showing a lot of interest. These guys don't have much disposable income in their hand, and $100-$1,000 seems to be the average amount invested in BTC. And in India, it can be a big amount (especially for the youngsters). But that said, there is virtually zero interest from those who are aged 35 and above.
How come a 18 year old have any income as that is the age group that will be in universities and usually you pass your degree around 20 or 21 depending upon your course and then you need to find a job and you really know what is the salary package as a fresher and it will not be that high and $2000 to $4000 will be the annual salary. If you are talking about anyone above 25 years then they might have the savings if they are not having education loan.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Declares War on Bitcoin (?) on: March 23, 2021, 12:04:30 PM
Consulting Lee a consulting firm focusing on bitcoin mining is involved in china’s Inner Mongolia decision and industry regarding the ban on cryptocurrency mining bitcoin allows anyone to buy anything from uganda to china in an instant no matter the bank no matter the exchange rate. There is no intermediate agency this currency can be quickly moved from one country to another but in the current currency transfer system it takes a few days to go from one country to another It costs a nominal amount to send this coin from one person to another it does not depend on the amount of money sent again. The same cost to send one bitcoin and one million bitcoins the current money transfer costs a lot of money.
So what you are trying to tell is that they are trying to promote their banking system and hence they wanted to impose restrictions on bitcoin.
It is a strange country for an outsider as i always thought that they were living in a bubble even before the pandemic as the government controls everything including what sites they use and for a country to control a new technology is not that surprising.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 23, 2021, 09:20:51 AM
Even during the T20 series, England won the toss 4 out of 5 times. And here also, England captain won the toss. I don't know why Virat Kohli is so unlucky when it comes to winning the toss.
Virat Kohli needs to spend time practicing with different coins  Cheesy.

A few more failures and they will be out of the team forever unless they come out with some outstanding performance in the domestic circuit.
Nonsense. Dhawan and Rahul are two of the biggest assets in the Indian team currently. They won't be dismissed just because of a couple of failures in my opinion.
Shikhar Dhawan is a 35 year old asset and his domestic performance in the recently concluded series and his last ten scores looks like this (23, 5, 77, 0, 0, 6, 0, 153, 44, 4) as if there are no other talents in India, KL Rahul is struggling in T20 and if that continues in ODI he will be replaced as he scored just 15 runs in his last 5 innings with a staggering average of 3. How long you will give these assets time to perform when there are promising young players waiting to get a spot.

India is lucky that they are winning all the series and until then you will not hear any complaints.
Luck? Hilarious. They decimated Australia and went on to outplay England in both the test and T-20 series thanks to their efforts which was clearly visible to everyone.
[/quote]The above mentioned flaws and then the fielding as they are missing catches every match and no one talks about them when India is winning, when a team is winning no one will highlight these flaws and that is what i meant by lucky to hide the flaws as well.
