It seems as though England have lost all confidence now and India have all the momentum after fighting back in the T20 series. England just don't have an answer right now and now they risk losing the ODI series also which will give India a clean sweep of all formats.

My guess is that the England players are tired of being inside the bio-secure bubble and they want to finish the tour as soon as possible and go home. Remember that they were in Sri Lanka before arriving in India. That means that they have been following the security protocols for almost 3 months now. It can be really tough, to stay inside the bubble without much direct contact with the outside world. And that may be one of the reasons for their poor performance, especially during the second half of the tour.

The England team has been in India for about 50 days and has played 10 matches. Haven't they able to adapted to the weather yet? Didn't they understand the condition of the pitch yet? You have to admit, the England team is really failing to perform well. They are playing badly, and the players are not in form. The Indian team is doing great on their own ground.

But its a different captain now and also different grounds so this is not going to be same as before for the every ENG players whereas IND certainly knows that what kind of pitch they are going to get and what are their strength and weakness but I am not denying that India is performing well but ENG us yet to play to their full potential.

Might be, we can judge after the conclusion of the series. You cannot put the entire blame on Morgan for their middle order struggle, everyone was struggling even though they have one of the strongest teams in papers they are yet to showcase that in the series.

Will see whether Malan will open or come down the order as England is safe with their opening partnership but they struggle in the middle order and Malan should come at one down and then try to play the anchor role which we have not seen, hopefully he will change according to the situation. When it comes to Morgan i do agree that he is struggling now but he has won matches from unexpected circumstances and he is an integral part of the team.

If England is looking at Morgan to lead the team for the next world cup later this year he needs to gain the experience in playing in these conditions and i am not sure whether he is a part of any IPL team and if that is the case if he is getting the opportunity it will help him out. His lack of experience in playing in these conditions might be the reason for his struggles and one good innings and he will be back in form.

Malan is considered as a T20 specialist and I don't know how successful he will be in ODI format. From what we have seen in the first match, England top order is doing OK. Their middle order and lower order is in horrible shape and they are unable to handle both the Indian spinners and pacers. If Malan could strengthen the middle order, then that would be good for the England prospects. Morgan was a big disappointment BTW.

No surprise there. I don't know why people tend to underestimate New Zealand. They are one of the best teams in international cricket right now and they can challenge any of the big 3 nations. They have top batsmen such as Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson, and their pace bowling department is perhaps the best in the world right now (Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Neil Wagner, Tim Southee.etc).

In this series, we need to remember that on top of all the other factors, New Zealand is having the home advantage as well. The New Zealand bowlers can be literally unplayable, in the bouncy and green pitches of Auckland and Wellington.

This is a completely one-sided game, there is nothing left to watch. Bangladesh has already lost 8 wickets and they cannot even reach 200. Newzealand is a far better team than Bangladesh, there is no point in comparing them. 2 more ODI left and I am sure NZ will win this series.

Bangladesh batsmen doesn't have the ability to handle the raw pace and bounce of the New Zealand fast bowlers. Even when Pakistan was touring New Zealand a few months back, their batsmen also faced the same issue. Now there is no quick fix solution for this, as this issue exists for all the South Asian teams (although India has made a lot of progress on this aspect recently, as seen from their recent success in Australia).

Yes he is and luckily he is going to be the captain of KKR for IPL 2021 edition since they are having hard time finding the right captain for that team every year so this year they are going back with one of the successful international captains in their team.

This is good for the Morgan and England team. Morgan is an extraordinary player. He is experienced enough. But, it will take some time to adapt to the weather and the environment and the pitch in India. If he becomes the captain of KKR, he will be able to easily adapt to this environment before the World Cup .

He will be captaining players such as Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Shakib Al Hasan, Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson and Shubman Gill, which can be quite challenging. But he needs to be 100% fit and I have doubt regarding that after hearing the news about the hand injury.

I am hopeful that he will be fully recovered before IPL starts. KKR's squad is very stable. Eoin Morgan will be able to carry out his responsibilities properly. With Shubman GIll, Cummins, Russel and Shakib, I think Morgan will be able to take the KKR team a long way. The team would have been stronger if there had been another skilled batsman in the KKR squad.

No mate, I didn't underestimate the New Zealand team. They have developed a lot in cricket. They and one of the most powerful squads in the world. Every player on the team is awesome. I am just telling about the Bangladeshi squad and their board. I have no complaints about the New Zealand squad. They have done a great job.

I agree with you. The whole series was one-sided. Bangladesh team could not perform well in a single match. In the previous match, although they were able to give a good run target, they lost the match due to poor fielding and poor bowling.
