41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of bitcoin trading scams -YouTube fake traders- on: August 30, 2020, 10:00:07 AM
Indeed, the person must dig deep into research about Bitcoin, Bitcoin trading and all the exploit scammers are using to enticed people into investing to their scam scheme.  There are news in my country where a person pretending to be a Bitcoin trader scammed several investor.

It is due to the lack of knowledge that the scammer are able to scammed these individuals.  So it is better to do research about the venture we wanted to get in in order for us to at least detect if the offer is too good to be true or not.
42  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets /s ⚡ on: August 29, 2020, 07:55:27 PM
If you want to bet max you can just do a few times press the 2x button. ........
Instead of clicking on "2x" button multiple times, you can click on "MAX" button only once.
Using "MAX" button, you can easily set the bet amount on your balance without 9th and 10th decimal digits.

If you don't see "max" button, click on "setting" button and then click on "MAX BET".

I think he is pointing out some bugs/glitch when someone use 2x to reach the max bet and the disabled feature of backspace or deleting the unnecessary numbers such as the one given by dre1982.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Game framework on: August 29, 2020, 07:46:39 PM
Sounds interesting,  But the crypto game market has no user right now. It is so hard for game developer join the Crypto world.

Who say it can't be the next Uniswap?  Demand and supply decide the price of anything.

I think you are mistaken about crypto game market having no user.  Probably you have not taken interest to the existing crypto games.  If you browse crypto games, there are many player spending their ETH, or other token to take part on that game.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 26, 2020, 01:44:02 PM

I am holding about 1.2 BTC now

But I need a money until Feb 22nd.

Should i hold until Feb 21nd and sell it? or Sell it now?!!

What do you guys anticipate in BTC price until next month?

Only you can answer this but to help, you can check the technical analysis of Bitcoin on https://www.tradingview.com/.  At least it will give you a hint on what possible trend of Bitcoin in the coming weeks.  Sitting there without any hint on what will be the next movement of Bitcoin is very frustrating.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 26, 2020, 01:19:56 PM

As subject goes, is Bitcoin the maximum version?

Is it still possible to develop it?

or

Can we still expect better coin than Bitcoin?

Bitcoin maybe popular but its technology is falling behind other altcoin so developer wanting Bitcoin to be competitive and at the same time address several issues regarding its transaction time and other stuff, so they intend to further develop Bitcoin.  If you have read the recent thread created by Jet Cash, you will see the possible update of Bitcoin.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 01:00:32 PM
one day bitcoin will be recognized by itself even without being promoted, in the social media group that I joined, almost nobody even promoted the introduction of bitcoin, but its members continue to grow, but if anyone wants to promote bitcoin, maybe bitcoin will develop faster.

But be you aware that if we don't promote it, that day may never come.

True that!  Someone need to step up to promote Bitcoin.  Without these awareness campaign, promotions, seminars and advertisement, Bitcoin will not be what it is today and could had been just a code in a computer just sitting there without anyone except for the coder and his friend whom he disclosed his program.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 26, 2020, 12:35:15 PM
Hey
I have always made a point to stay away from the news related to this self obsessed fake creator of bitcoins , and even if he is the creator I don't think I would see him in a better light.
So he is claiming that bitcoins have a problem with their code (dude which software doesn't?) And that today will be the last day for bitcoins to exist, after this it will Plummet , considering he is trying to reduce the competition for the BSV , the statements are exceptionally hilarious , first of all , if there was any problem with the code trust me , he would have exposed it himself , if he knows the problem , he is not the kind of person to shut up about it .
What do you guys this of this ?

I am a little concerned about being late to the big BTC party, but not related to Craig. The "last day" seems to have passed and BTC is higher now than 3 weeks ago.

I think all these announcement from Craig Wright has something to do with its recent Bitcoin SV pump.  We all saw that it gain 200% increase in just a short span of time due to all those non-sense talk and issue created by Wright.  Many fall into that trap and think that he is really Satoshi but alas, he already admitted that he does not have the key to that addresses so those who were trapped have to suffer those loses. While Bitcoin is  yet to have reached its rally this year.  So much for the last day for Bitcoins claimed by Craig.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy? on: January 26, 2020, 12:18:05 PM
As far as I know, even though my country is a Bitcoin country place, our embassy does not accept Bitcoin directly but we can pay for it service using Bitcoin through a third party gateway payment.  I hope that, one day, our government  office will accept Bitcoin directly.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My funds have been stolen! on: January 25, 2020, 05:17:47 PM
I didn't save the key anywhere. The string of random characters that make up PrivateKey is created using the BrainWallet method, the salt of which is the password I use, consisting of 20 characters (including special characters and numbers), so there is no chance to guess. This was done manually and offline using a tool of my own authorship. I know the mechanisms of private keys very well

So you didn't actually create your private key with Electrum? I'm just thinking out loud here, but it's kind of pointless to generate your private key offline only to later import it into a hot wallet.

I think the hole is in this scenario.  I guess OP's PC was compromised with key logger.  I also think that it is pointless to generate a private key then later to import it to hotwallet.  So I guess that import stuff is the source of all those problem.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff's Bitcoin wallet mystery is solved on: January 25, 2020, 04:35:26 PM
Peter Schiff should have backed up he seed phrase here on the forum like I do, that way it never gets lost !!!

At least Peter Schiff is HONEST about what happened, exactly the type of person I would trust.

Hard Facts

I do like Peter Schiff even though he is somehow does not like Bitcoin.  I first saw him in a video of a debate regarding Bitcoin as future money.  Though he lost on that one, he still stand his ground.  Anyway, now I know why Peter Schiff does not like Bitcoin  Grin
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Crypto on: January 25, 2020, 03:52:45 PM
I joined campaign to earn cryptocurrency token and convert it to Bitcoin.  Once in Bitcoin I use it to pay bills and other services that is offered on the internet.  I also use it to send a remittance to my relatives in times when they need financial assistance.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air, Water, Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 03:49:12 PM
Past human history is checkered with currency manipulation and conflict..

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency has been filed with manipulation and conflict! We've seen fraud, theft, in-fighting, consolidation of mining operations, blockchain hijack attempts (in the form of forks), and more theft. There's nothing about cryptocurrency that is inherently peaceful or humane.

Indeed, even though the form of currency changes, the very foundation of the system is very deeply rooted.  Manipulation and conflict had always been around in the human history that is why even this cryptocurrency that promised decentralization cannot escape the fate of being manipulated by developers and whales.

Yes, i can understand that without air and water, life would not work but does it have any connection with bitcoins?
We can survive without bitcoins also as bitcoins only are a mean of financial transactions and that would not come under the basic utilities or basic requirements of the human nature.

No there is no connection.  People's lives will go on even without Bitcoin. And even the financial institution does not need Bitcoin to thrive.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Cost $ 25,000 by 2021? on: January 24, 2020, 02:51:50 PM
Bitcoin is highly volatile and very unpredictable.  As much as I wanted to see Bitcoin  at $25k next year, there is also a possibility that it won't even break its ATH until later if 2021.  We can have our own guesses with the price of Bitcoin by next year but one thing is true, we don't know if it will hit $25k  or not or maybe it will be 2x of that $25k or more.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 24, 2020, 02:06:27 PM
Start buying the dip guys. Now is the moment ⏱️ to accumulate for BTC halving. Don't miss this low. I got orders from 8,3k to 7,9k. Going lower than that it will be difficult. But who knows. I still have some cash left in case it goes lower. Be greedy when others are fearful. ⚠️

Maybe you will see that I'm new in this forum, but that doesn't make me a newbie. Read the topic I wrote called "Backbone analogy for BTC current & future price movements" where I predicted that this dip would happen.

And of course this is only my personal view. Make your own responsible choices.
Good luck!  Grin

Analyst also advice people that it is too late for shorting thus it is a good opportunity to buy Bitcoin, they even suggest to wait a bit longer because there is a possibility that Bitcoin will go lower but who know when it will happen.  So I agree accumulate while others are fearful, and besides the upcoming halving seem to be or maybe a good assurance that Bitcoin will go up in price in the coming months.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my two Bitcoins (just for example) if I lose my security key? on: January 24, 2020, 01:50:03 PM
If you lose your key of an address that is holding your two Bitcoins then that Bitcoin will be lost until such time that someone had invented a machine that can decode public key and get the private key of that address.  So before that time your Bitcoin will be inaccessible.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Plunged $700 Upon Reaching $9,060, Correction or Reason To Panic? on: January 23, 2020, 02:33:28 PM
The price of Bitcoin has fallen in the past few days because this is part of the correction, because last Sunday the highest resistance has been reached at 9188$.

This week I look at my technical analysis, because prices are already trading below key prices around 8640$, then most likely until next Sunday, it will be predicted to fall to 8200$ in the first support line and if it continues to fall it is likely to reach 7950$ in the support line  second.

And the worst possibility is if it keeps falling again then 7500$ is a good choice for buying Bitcoin.

It seems bitcoin is having a problem with its support at  $8.3k, it won't be surprise if we see Bitcoin going below $8k on the next days.  Analyst seems to see a sign of Bitcoin going down below $8k since they saw a patter of exhausted demand on the lower $8k.  And they also see that once the major support is broken it can easily go down to $7500.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: January 23, 2020, 01:58:18 PM
Yes. Ratio demand/supply hasn't change from before the rally. This will only change after the halving. But a steady climb in the support levels has started, which means that every low will be higher than the one before. The reason why, is because the number of people doing HODL is increasing. Everyone wants to secure there positions as we approach May. So in a sense supply will have a steady drop during this next months (ratio demand/supply > 1, new price = Price x D/S). If there is a crazy rally it is just whales taking advantage of FOMO. Volatillity will be very present in this period.

During the fixed supply, there is these variable that affect the value of Bitcoin, that variables are adopting investors, whales manipulating prices and weak hands panicking.  These three affect the price value of Bitcoin and which ever of them is active at a current time will indicate how the bitcoin market will behave.  Then comes the halving, halving accelerate the increase of Bitcoin price value because of the ratio adoption rate : number of incoming supply.  Thus in the end even without the Bitcoin halving, Bitcoin will increase in value due to the demand getting bigger as time goes by due to the fact that the percentage of Bitcoin being mined is far greater than the number of population involved on crypto industry to the remaining % of each.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: January 23, 2020, 01:32:42 PM
I don't believe much on technical analysis and prediction like this one. Looking fundamentally, there are more factors to consider in predicting the price. One thing to note is that the hype has already faded significantly and the awareness has increased, and therefore not all new investors would hop in to Bitcoin just like the early times, because they already knew some background to it.

Also, the argument stated that the % of increase per halving is also decreasing, from 13k% to 12k%. From their arguments that it would increase exponentially, we could also apply the same on the % of gains per halving, and can also conclude that it would drop its % by a significant amount.
I agree with you, I think bitcoin won't reach a high price because the bitcoin hype has passed. most people already understand about bitcoin price fluctuations. there is a possibility to go up because half bitcoin will make a fixed or increased demand but the supply decreases. this will make the price of bitcoin go up. but in my opinion it won't be too high. my estimate of the price that bitcoin can achieve after halving is $ 15,000.

That is a reasonable price and very reachable for Bitcoin too.  Aside from that, as OP is talking about History and making a prediction due to percentage gain on the price, there is also this history of Bitcoin of people exaggerating price of Bitcoin in their prediction and this one stated of OP is another one written on history as exaggerated Bitcoin price prediction.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice Increase in Price but What Next?? on: January 23, 2020, 01:16:53 PM
It looks like the next one after this rally is some correction.  After reaching $9k a few days ago, it stayed at $8.6k for some days before giving in and move lower to $8.4k.    This is probably a retracement for more accumulation before rallying towards the 5 digit price.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: should I buy now? on: January 23, 2020, 12:37:33 PM
I did  buy in bitcoin over a month ago 7k the plan is  to be a long-term hold.  Now I have about 20% more to buy in with, with the prices so high and everything I was going to buy some Altcoins Mainly Ethereum Or more bitcoin.
This Is the hard part of my plan trying to figure out should I just hold onto the cash in my account and see what the prices do?

Bitcoin price just go down today after it breaks its support of $8500, so I guess you need to wait for some time and need the market price to stabilize before getting in.  There might be some panic seller after they saw the price go down so there is a possibility that the price will even go lower in the next days.
