41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 07, 2021, 02:54:50 AM
There's a possibility, it's only about 20k away from happening and there's still a lot of time for that to happen, it might not even be just 70k by December, it could be higher than that. But this is all just a speculation so you better be cautious more than anything else.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 07, 2021, 01:57:33 AM
I don't think that inflation is going to go away anytime soon so I think that it's most likely that it's a permanent thing, I mean we will eventually find a solution about it anyways so I don't think that we're going to worry about it, unless the government doesn't do anything to stop it then probably we'll not be able to do anything about it besides protecting ourselves from that inflation.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors Spent Millions on 'Evolved Apes' NFTs. Then They Got Scammed on: October 07, 2021, 01:24:38 AM
That's why it's always a good thing to exercise caution especially with NFT as they're illiquid and it's going to be difficult to be able to get the money back especially with NFTs banking on hype to become popular, also it's a good thing that you should get in early so you won't lose as much from investing.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid on: October 06, 2021, 03:45:57 PM
Op, you should make it in alphabetical order so people can easily scan for websites with just their first letters. I don't know if this has been added already but PNXbet is part of 1xbit if I recall.
Good idea but it would not be necessary since the list isn't that big at at all so it's nothing to be worried about, at least for now but when the list gets bigger, probably considering it would be helpful.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 06, 2021, 02:42:06 PM
~~~
However, it is their choice. It's a lot like a lottery, and they're going to try their luck. I believe that the majority of the reason they play these types of games is to have fun because they do not want to learn complicated games (to those who know to play those games like card game they will say it is easy but same with us it would be difficult). They really want something simple, like one or two rules, then bet, no thinking, no strategy, just pure luck.
I guess this all ends with the answer that it depends. I mean there's probably more to just an ulterior motive than just it depends. I guess it's all for fun but given that we thought of that idea that some people might be playing dice for profit is a bit shocking to me.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $2.7 billion merger - Bally's Corp and Gamesys - one of the biggest in gambling on: October 06, 2021, 01:51:20 PM
They're the only one that will benefit from this, gambling industry is a big one so it's not really a big deal that they're doing a merger, unless it involves crypto or something remotely invooved with crypto then we might see it influence the cryptospace.
Don't be too pessimistic about it, maybe this merger meant that they're going to expand their horizons and that expansion might involve being into crypto gambling. We don't exactly know how the minds of this capitalists work so we should be expecting the unexpected.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 06, 2021, 10:50:56 AM
Some people gamble their money to have fun but I think majority are playing with the motive of making their money double or triple in snap. As we know gambling is a fast way to earn (and lose as well), risky but exciting. Regardless of your reason, I think what matter is you enjoy the game and had the guts to face the consequences.
Why would they try to make profit out of dice though, it's not like they're going to have control over what's going happen when the dice rolls. I find this kind of people pathetic, they're trying to win against chance, there are other games out there that you can play that can be in your control.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputable dice sites with instant/flash bets on: October 06, 2021, 09:58:35 AM
Sadly, Yolodice is gone which has that kind of feature.
But as chaser15 said, why not just stick with what you are used to which is Wolf.bet? Is it just because you want a fresher UI?
Used to play in YD back then and this post just made me reminisce on stuff of days gone by. I do hope that I can play dice again, not a lot of time allows me to play so I just hodl the crypto that I have.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: October 06, 2021, 09:05:34 AM
Nothing will change, the market will always be there and it's not going to adjust to what you believe in, remember that bitcoin is just a market and it's not like it only depends on one person even if they own a lot of it.
50  Other / Off-topic / Re: [IMAGINE] SATOSHI HAS APPEARED TO PUBLIC?! on: October 06, 2021, 07:54:52 AM
In my personal opinion, the appearance of satoshi is still anonymous, it is very difficult to predict satoshi will appear to the public, and I am sure that satoshi will never appear to the public, satoshi will definitely hide his identity, because if satoshi shows himself to the public, there must be a lot of problems, especially the government. definitely will check satoshi, but in my mind satoshi is not individual, but satoshi is group name..
That's not your opinion, that's an obvious fact that Satoshi is anonymous. You're just reiterating your words about Satoshi's anonymity, you're dragging. Definitely it's a big deal if he goes public but I don't think that we will ever know who Satoshi is.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: October 06, 2021, 06:42:36 AM
If you come when the price is high then obviously it's not the time to go in and place a price order. They grew because of the high level of investor confidence in the past. And you come at a time where it's impossible to show anything when looking at crypto prices already having foreign commodities and holding on so far. It shows that investing in crypto has provided huge benefits.
The people in that situation would be in a deadlock, if they don't go in now and invest even if the prices are high and the prices continues to go up, they will end up with nothing but regret and get in at a wrong time. For me, it's faith in the investment is what we should have so we don't do anything wrong with our investments.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Is budgeting still effective in tackling the need to constantly withdraw money? on: October 06, 2021, 05:20:27 AM
You're not budgeting your money if you're constantly withdrawing that money and at the same time if you're doing that, then it only means that you don't really budget at all because you lack discipline and discipline is needed when you're budgeting.
53  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: October 06, 2021, 01:39:27 AM
If we started the bull run right now then we might see a big correction next year because we know this market, can’t sustain a whole year of bull run.
The 1st to 2nd quarter of 2022 will be good for sure but the last two quarter might be the correction phase and that is another chance to get in and increase your holdings. I’m confident as well that Bitcoin can enter into another bull run.
If the bull run really did start right now, wouldn't the 1st quarter be the part where the correction happens? But even so it's going to be a treacherous journey for everyone especially for hodlers that have a specific number in mind including me which might frustrate and disappoint us.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 05, 2021, 04:01:27 PM
New York Nicks VS Indiana Pacers
It is a close odds for these two at stake.com 1.76 for Knicks and 1.96 for the Pacers, and I think both teams will do their best to build momentum for the upcoming regular season, that is why they need a strong preseason campaign, even though heading into the preseason without their key players and have brought back Rick Carlisle as their head coach, I would pick Indiana Pacers even without Caris LeVert because of Stress fracture and Edmond Sumner because of the recent tearing of his Achilles.
Wouldn't they be too disadvantaged if they have two of their good players gone for awhile due to injury? Pretty sure that they're going to have a hard time playing especially if they're a key players to the Pacers.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legalized Gambling where you live..where does it stand? on: October 05, 2021, 02:50:08 PM
Took a few days off from the forum and had forgotten I had posted this. I really appreciate everyone sharing on this topic. One of my favorite parts of bitcoin is having a website where I can interact with others from all over the world. I love learning about other cultures, and in this case how one’s culture views legalized gambling. Will go over replied in more depth when I get a moment but thanks again to everyone for sharing.
Wasn't that the point of commercializing the Internet? To be used to connect the world regardless of the distance. This is actually good because it helps us destroy racism and bigotry since we electronically experience the different cultures.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 05, 2021, 01:12:15 PM
Finally we can see if it's going to be Fury all the way or if it's going to be Wilder this time and hopefully we get to see this trilogy close, I don't want this to be dragged out or even made for the sake of being made. My bet is on Fury since I know how strong this man is.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2021, 12:20:41 PM
If you want an honest opinion on the matter, what I see about this is that there is really nothing that I can see that would influence sports as far as cryptocurrencies are concerned. Right now Bitcoin and the major cryptocurrencies are currently confined to betting in sports. Nothing in the part wherein the major coins themselves will sponsor the said sports events and that is highly unlikely as the major sports corporations still has tons of cash that they can use to organize the events.
Totally agree, there's no way that crypto can improve sports, it's the other way around I think because bitcoin doesn't have that much utility outside of what it's used, the only way that I think that crypto can strengthen sports is hosting an event or something like that.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: October 05, 2021, 11:36:45 AM
Both boombl4 & s1mple are experts in their craft and it will take some new blood to dethrone these players if it can be done.
There have been some players who have shown some promise in the junior leagues.
So with that WePlay! Academy tournament play has started up again recently.
Here are some matches if you want to place a selection on these young guns:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/counter-strike/we-play-cs-go/weplay-academy-league-regular-season/matches
s1mple is the biggest name in my opinion in terms of CS:GO players, his focus, predictions and resolve in the game is top of the line awesome, you don't simply shoot an AWP with no scope just because you're a professional, there's more than it takes to be able to do any of those stuff.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: For every $269 in bitcoin, $4,672 of tax payer money is spent on: October 05, 2021, 10:53:43 AM
I'm not from El Salvador so I don't know the real condition there but aren't they planning to build a new power plant that's on a volcano so that they can mine bitcoin there? I can see the plight that people has but the problem is that there's decisions to be made where there's going to be rough patches at the start but will eventually smooth out in the end.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: October Bitcoin bull month. on: October 05, 2021, 10:10:21 AM
That's not a guarantee but we can hold on to a hope that there's going to be a bull run this month. October isn't that famous as a month for bull runs so I don't believe that there's going to be a bull run this month.
