1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 09, 2021, 06:14:00 AM
Seems like a pretty niche betting market.

I personally think that it's just too prone to manipulation to be a feasible bet for more sophisticated bettors. There will also be a general lack of liquidity.

If you are an enthusiast, sure, go for it. But just know that there is no real authority that is keeping the bets fair, and it's essentially the Wild West. I can imagine if the betting markets for climbing did get large, then there will be quite a high incidence rate of "match fixing" whereby climbers fail on purpose to get themselves or friends/family a handsome payoff.
That's highly unlikely because failing could mean injuries for them or a deflated ego because they know that they could go much faster than that. It is indeed a niche market but if we were to give it a chance, it might not leave a bad aftertaste.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is playing on Pnxbet.com right now? on: June 09, 2021, 05:30:09 AM
I don't have any direct experience but my friend did bet in there and so far, there's no problem for him but I have already warned him about it so I don't know if he is still playing there. You're right that it's promoted by a lot of streamers in the Philippines, they even have codes to help new players.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 08, 2021, 12:15:17 PM
that's really a bad one fella, afaik gambling is one of the bad habits we humans keeps on doing, and I don't think (if ever God really exist) someone will listen to you to give you the blessings. (they just might say *fuck off and get you prayer somewhere else* ) lol
Also, if there is really a God, I am sure that he or she is too busy answering the much more important prayers, praying because you want to win in gambling is a pretty stupid thing because it is a selfish thing to only ask for some invisible entity of something that only you can be efit from.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 08, 2021, 11:18:37 AM
My favorite gambling would probably be poker or it's variation Indian Poker. The mind games involved in poker is really cool and exhilarating plus an added bonus when you can always get in the head of the other players, then you are finally in control.
1045  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETOP.GG - Sports & eSports betting |Great Odds|125% bonus|10% Cashback|Cashout| on: June 08, 2021, 10:25:31 AM
Good for them, but that doesn't end their, they have to stay truthful to their promises and never become a scam website. I support their rise in this platform but the moment will be different if they start hassling their customers.

Thanks for your feedback, we're hoping to always be clear and transparent with our users!
It's good that you are doing what should be done because a lot of businesses these days don't seem to care or doesn't know about being transparent to their customers. This kind of thing shouldn't be celebrated since it's what the norm should be but given that there are only few of these, it's still worth celebrating.
1046  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch (uncensored betking-scam thread) on: June 08, 2021, 09:48:00 AM
I'm imagine how many people lose their money again
If we don't spread the word about this people, I am pretty sure that we will probably see more people getting scammed by this website. I am doing my part by telling it to my friends and hopefully they help me spread the word.
1047  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 08, 2021, 09:13:23 AM
Yeah, many crypto casinos don't have faucets at all or some of them aren't highlighting them in a way that would make it easy for me to find out how and where to access them. I will update the thread after I checked some of the casinos that were recommended by other members.
Why would they hide it though? Are there any reason why they hide the faucets? I am glad that you are updating this thread because I feel like this can help some people make some money albeit a tiny amount.
1048  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 08, 2021, 08:14:58 AM
If we start adding these obituary threads on a website then I feel we might create a new forum for obituaries..Roll Eyes

It is of no use to tell these people about Bitcoin, they don't come out of their holes or just pretend to be inside one.
Obituary threads area pretty good idea but I don't think that it will be of good taste to do that. The reason that people don't get out of their holes is because they became too comfortable in it that they don't like the idea of going out of it to hear the truth.
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who were the morons that bought 60k bitcoin? on: June 08, 2021, 07:22:10 AM
Unless they sell it, they will probably be a moron but if they are still hodling even though they are at a 50% loss, I don't think that it's right to call them morons plus they probably have cut their losses before the price really did go down to 30k and simply just bought back.
I agree to this no matter what price some people buy it doesn't mean that their moron/idiot or anything else they are just investing too like most of us.
Just because you bought at a low price doesn't mean your a great trader it depends on how you would handle the situation.
Plus it is not their fault that they have bought at 60k, that was the price at that time and if you don't have any bitcoin, getting as early as possible is the best thing to do because you don't know if it will be the last the price will go that point because the prices have gone higher than ever.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: If Something is cheap you Buy it Buy the dips on: June 08, 2021, 06:40:03 AM
~

doesn't hurt when you keep a stablecoin in times when the market itself is confused about where its trend will go. i can't even decide where the price is going so i'm just going to keep usdt with me or maybe buy when the price goes more than $40k.

buy the dip if you know it's the dippest but this is if you are a long-term investor which i'm not. but what i don't understand why OP wants to hold USD for so long.
Depends on each person, as you have said, you aren't a long-term investor which means that you will take all the necessary precautions to prevent losses or at the least cut it early. I don't think that's how it works on buying the dip though, you don't know when will it go lower so you just have to wait for the right moment.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin for everyone on: June 08, 2021, 05:55:57 AM
If you do not become greedy you can use bitcoin if you have a good knowledge about bitcoin but it is not for everyone. Adequate capital is required to use bitcoin there are many poor people who cannot afford to invest in bitcoin it depends on the people not just the holders.
Totally agree, having some knowledge in bitcoin is a requirement that has an utmost importance because it if you get in the market and you don't have a knowledge about it, you will only get lost but that doesn't mean that it's all gone for you because you can still learn along the way, it's much more difficult though. I don't think that bitcoin is for everyone because not everyone has the patience to learn and to earn in long-term and we have to respect that.
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Official says US seized cryptocurrency ransom paid to Colonial Pipeline hackers on: June 08, 2021, 05:17:04 AM
That wasa ransomware that they used so that means that they will be paid in cryptocurrency like any other ransomware out there. Also, this seizure doesn't mean that they have got it from the hackers, remember that cryptocurrency can be tainted so I don't think there's nothing for this news.
1053  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ PlayBitcoinGames.com ♠ ♣ ♦ ♥ Casino with 27 Unique Games and Promotions! on: June 07, 2021, 12:15:19 PM
Here you are absolutely right, honestly for Coinflip the chances are 50/50, this game seems exciting to me despite how simple it usually is, for many it turns out to be boring, but the most exciting thing is when you make a big bet and win it, of course I have suffered many losses and I have obtained more failures than victories in this game, but nevertheless I am not ashamed to say it, at some point luck must come with force, I have only played coinflip on 2 platforms and in this one I am testing it and I like it, some players take advantage of the advantage that there is, because in most casinos in other games the house advantage is always higher at least by a small percentage.
The awesome thing about coin flip online is that there isn't a lot of things that you can complain about because there's only two outcomes, no draws or in between. That's too bad for you that you lost much more often than winning but I think that it is a fair thing because as I have said before, there's no in between, either win or lose.
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ 🚀 SatoshiHill.com 🚀➫ ➬ ➫ ➬🍀 on: June 07, 2021, 11:31:04 AM
Before improving the features of the website, it is even better if they can get out from the list of casinos that violating the terms of bustabit's open source license.
I'm not really sure if there is a way to get out from that list but getting listed there is not good at all.
I have seen this site on a Scam Accusations before, whst they did exactly again? Also, I agree that they should clear their name first before doing anything that can be hindered by a bad reputation.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: June 07, 2021, 10:43:41 AM
It's been almost two months, that I haven't seen the OP update here.  But it can be seen that the last active forum account was only three days ago.  What could have happened to their planned addition of altcoins to betting?
That's a lot of time to wait, maybe a day or week of inactivity is acceptable but this is months that we are talking about. They might be planning something really big that it takes them a long time to have some presence in this forum, maybe they don't have any people to manage their account in this forum.
1056  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: June 07, 2021, 07:44:42 AM
What constitutes a fraudulent player though? Because fraudulent is a pretty broad term for this kind of thing. Also, I have seen this "play fair and no one will have a problem" get broken by a lot of gambling sites so I am really anxious if you are going to be able to commit to that because there are a lot of innocent players getting caught in the crossfire if you know what I mean.
You got the good fact there mate and in our days now , this is what scam sites are using to treat their players and how to take funds from their accounts.

I am not saying that Betnomi is a scam site since they have been here for quite some time (though there are still tags in their account)  but i am saying this in general.
I wouldn't ask about it if I didn't see it you know. People are using it as a threat but they have no specific basis as to why they are a fraudulent player.
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Weekend full of fun & prizes! 🎉 🥳 🚀 on: June 07, 2021, 06:44:18 AM
Hey BitcoinHunt3r,

Actually, we are adding new games pretty often Smiley The ones I share on Fridays are just a small selection. Newly added games can be found on our home page if you scroll a bit down. There you can see a slider: New games we love. And all the new games can be found here.

Good luck with the Alien Hunter. It's a very intriguing game Wink

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
That's awesome that a casino is consistently pumping new games, that's pretty hard to think of a concept for a new game because you have to make it different from the other existing games with the same mechanics. I do agree with you that the Alien Hunter is an intriguing game, the graphics look like they aren't for gambling you know.

1059  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador plan to make BTC legal tender on: June 07, 2021, 04:26:15 AM
They can probably just use both, it's a difficult task to convert the population of El Salvador from using fiat to using cryptocurrencies because there's going to be some people that will be left behind because it's not like El Salvador is poverty free country. But nevertheless, both options will always be beneficial for bitcoin.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: I currently cannot own a Paypal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc on: June 07, 2021, 03:48:12 AM
I'm at the age of drinking and don't have the service aforementioned. I'm still in the acquiring phase to get a primary ID.
Getting permission and asking your parents to create an account for you to use might be a good choice.
The same thing that I did for my first crypto wallet.
Me too, I don't have a valid ID even though I need it right now, I get my cash out of crypto by trading it to my friends for a really fair price so I didn't worry about it too much even without a valid ID. Plus, it's not a norm in my country to have a bank account or any of that because we always deal in cold hard cash.
