401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 11:41:06 PM
Probably this is good news to those people waiting to buy bitcoins, but aside from that, I fail also to see the point of OP in this thread to say it is great news. Also, it did not break $6k barrier but only the $7k one as it did not dip below $6k. This thread is just pretty much confusing and makes no sense at all.

Look at their comments. I am sorry to say, they are either bots, braindead or pretend to be dumb. This while continuing to entertain the lie that it dipped below $6000 in the context as claimed.
This is not the end of Bitcoin and I think the decline is just a moment and will not fade for a long time. the incidence of the decline in the price of Bitcoin is a normal thing, which must be considered is we do not follow the panic, because if we panic and then sell bitcoin that we have with a very instens then it could worsen the situation. So it's a good move to be patient and waiting. We want to get a much better Bitcoin price, so we should also help the development of Bitcoin by not worsening the current situation.

Exactly. I don't sweat these sort of price movements, I've held Bitcoin when it was at $200 and will continue to hold it. What trips my switch is the fact that he/she/it has the audacity to come on here and blatantly lie about price movements.
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 11:29:32 PM
fyi, I meant it was in the $6ks not below $6k.

I think most people realised that. Lesson learnt.

But don't the hodlers get angry?

What are they going to be like when its $2k?

I am not a big BTC holder, but if you have any experience in the crypto market, you should know by now how movements in the price of Bitcoin affects the rest of the market. In addition, I don't have time for lying sacks of shit that pretend to be stupid, while they know exactly what they're doing. And if you fall in the category of having little command of the English language, then you should rather keep your thoughts to yourself and stick to the local threads.

Can't wait to see you cry at $2k!. Do you throw insults at everyone who disagrees with your point of view? Anger management issues?

Not surprisingly, you still don't get it (or pretend not to get it).

404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need to pay first before you can claim your rewards on bounty campaign? on: March 29, 2018, 11:16:39 PM
Are you insane to send something that you could be scammed? no ICO will ask your privatekeys nor any payment for your bounties, that is purely a scam attempt and that campaign should be taken down by the moderator because it is going to scam a lot of people! only newbies will get that bait because these tokens are worthless not unless it was listed into major exchanges.

I strongly suspect that he is lying about it and are only posting BS to fill a quota and get a reaction. If not, then I should probably tell my story of how a bounty program wanted me to send them my kidneys in a box. Roll Eyes

Great news, btc broke through $6k twice within the last hour.
Very volatile still but trend continues down.
The bitcoin holders are not happy about the bitcoin price going to $6k at all. But the good news is the bitcoin price started recovering fast as the bitcoin is currently selling around $7,450 at the pressing time.

There is no proof that it broke through $6k. It is complete BS.
407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 10:56:33 PM
@coinycoiny They should ban your ass for spreading blatantly false information.
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks $6k barrier on: March 29, 2018, 10:53:24 PM
Bitcoin violates the barrier by 6,000 dollars, market capitalization now exceeds $ 100 billion

Today bitfinex, the highest volume of BTC / USD exchange, broke the barrier for 6000 dollars today and all other large exchanges joined it. During printing, the price of Bitcoin reached $ 6,041 according to Coinmarketcap.com, resulting in its market capitalization for the first time exceeded $ 100 billion.

WHAT IS NEWS BELIEVED WITH THIS?

The last surge comes after the consolidation week above the $ 5,000 mark, despite the comments of such skeptics as Jamie Dimon and the president of the central bank of Brazil. Last month, China banned ICO and Burmese stock exchanges, South Korea banned ICOs, the US SEC intensified control over ICOs, and Chase Bank CEO could not close his mouth.
None of this matters.
For years Bitkoyn was called the "honey badger of money" and "anti-friggin." Bitcoin does not care, perhaps the most applicable now. Bitkoynu simply does not care what China does, or what the bank's leaders say, or what central bankers think. The only thing Bitkoyn cares about, apparently, is growing in price and adoption.

I CAN NOT KEEP

Many have suggested that institutional money breaks into bitcoins, and they are likely to be true. LedgerX was recently approved by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to create a regulated Bitcoin options market. Such a market would give institutions that are afraid that the actual digital currency will be able to expose itself to price movements. This month, LedgerX plans to make its debut in Bactoy options.
Bloomberg reports that industry executives are awaiting Bitcoin ETF approval in the future. They point to LedgerX, stating that with a regulated futures market approved by the CFTC, it's only a matter of time before the SEC comes on board and lets you create an ETF. Earlier this year, the SEC said that if the market for regulated options were developed, they could reconsider their position on the Bitkoyinsky ETF.
The approval of the ETF, or the exchange fund, is considered a holy grail for the institutional adoption of bitcoins. Such a fund would actually have enough bitcoins to be fully "supported", and it would be easy to use institutional and retail investors.

Fake news designed to shake more weak hands out of the market and to most likely profit by going short on the price. Roll Eyes
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need to pay first before you can claim your rewards on bounty campaign? on: March 29, 2018, 10:42:16 PM
You have worked hard to promote these ICOs why would you pay them to get your stakes? that is stupidity stay awat from it is surely going to scam investors and you, this is how ICOs are going to kil cryptocurrencies because most of the new people are getting scammed we shouldnt allow these scammers to invade our community they are indeed cancers of the cryptocurrencies.

I want him to name the relevant bounty program, otherwise I call BS on his claim.

BS! Where did you see it dip below $6k as claimed?
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you need to pay first before you can claim your rewards on bounty campaign? on: March 29, 2018, 09:48:58 PM
I have a recent bounty campaign and they are saying that i need to pay them 0.004 btc before i can earn my bounty rewards. This is the first time i heard of it. I already reported it to the moderator but based on their reply they cannot do anything because i will fall under biased decisions

Sounds like a scam to me as well. Which bounty campaign are you in reference to? I would like to investigate and take action.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to get involved in Waves on: March 29, 2018, 04:50:32 PM
I was planning to invest in waves. But since this thread came up, I have a quick question about coin choices. Which one is better: Waves, Doge, Clams, Burst?

I don't hold any of the ones you mention, but it is hard to go wrong with Doge in terms of network effect.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to get involved in Waves on: March 29, 2018, 04:47:53 PM
I like Waves! Is it a good idea to buy some coins?

Personally I would stay away from it. The last time around I had an uphill battle to perform a simple transaction on their platform. I had to "google" for a fix first. It was clear by the quantity of comments pertaining to the matter that the team must have known about the issue for a while, but did nothing to fix it. Things might have changed in the meantime, but I was so disgusted by that experience that I've promised myself that I will rather stick to the waves at the beach.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: March 29, 2018, 04:31:01 PM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

You're absolutely right. Cryptos should be about anonymity and decentralized peer-to-peer solutions. KYC opens the door to governments and banksters to exercise control. It gives them the info required to identify and pick us off one by one. Even worse, the latest legislation tabled will enable them to do so pretty much on a global basis. Then of course there is also a real risk that KYC related info might end up in the hands of outright scammers and fraudsters.

In addition, if governments and banksters have their way, only so called 'accredited investors' (net worth $1m+, etc.) will be able to participate in ICOs and airdrops. The rest of us will have to be satisfied with crumbs from the table.

I have said it and will say it again, if people don't wake up fast, we are going to sit with a centralized crypto-based monetary system a million times worst than the current fiat Ponzi scheme with its cash and electronic transactions. All transactions will be tracked and zero transactions will take place in cash - as cash will either be banned or completely worthless. This is why there is an ongoing war on both cash and anonymous (private), decentralized peer-to-peer cryptos.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes - Looking Ahead To $20,000 Bitcoin on: March 29, 2018, 04:07:52 PM
i still doubt it's gonna reach $20K any time soon, considering the dips. Grin maybe in a few years

Nah, by December it will hit $100,000. Grin
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Fomo Day as a counter to April Fools' Day FUD on: March 29, 2018, 03:57:21 PM
It is alleged that Jamie Demon has purchased $400,000,000 worth of Bitcoin and altcoins from weak hands while using Bitcoin derivatives to push prices down. He allegedly said that Bitcoin and alts like Dogecoin are expected to moon soon. Wink
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto Fomo Day as a counter to April Fools' Day FUD on: March 29, 2018, 03:39:34 PM
It is no secret that it is tradition in many countries to commemorate April Fools' Day (April 1st) by spreading hoaxes and playing practical jokes. Given the current state of the crypto market in terms of price movements, I can't help to wonder how big the impact of April Fools' Day FUD are going to be on the crypto market. Will the establishment use it as an opportunity to rub the current pain in good and scare more crypto holders into selling on the back of hoaxes and practical jokes? Personally I dislike and have little time for the silliness of April Fools' Day, but given the realities in hand, it might not be a bad idea to jump the gun by spreading hoaxes that are positive for the crypto market, starting today. They say practice makes perfect. Now might be a good time to start practicing by posting your best pro-Crypto April Fools' Day FOMO here. In fact, it would be great to have our very own Crypto FOMO Day on April 1st (or Crypto FOMO Weekend for that matter) - and those who get upset about it can be called "foamies," because they foam around the mouth.

E.g. it is alleged that CNBC recently reported that the price of Bitcoin declined with 40% from $9000 to $8000.  Roll Eyes

We could counter it by saying that the price of Bitcoin increased with well over 9,000,000% from July 2010 ($0.08) to the current price of around $7400 - how is that for perspective? And we haven't even used any FOMO! Grin

P.S. Just imagine the positive effect this might have on both Bitcoin and Altcoins - and might help to create a general feeling of solidarity that we need in this market. Cool
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m out on: March 29, 2018, 01:44:49 PM
I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.

I am glad you're out of hospital. I don't blame you for not wanting to end up under water, but the crypto market is known for these wild price swings. This is why some say it is a transfer of wealth from the patient to the impatient. In any case, it is your choice and your money. Best of luck to you as well. I am going to continue to HODL and earn more stripes along the way. Cool
419  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How long will it take before bountyhunters be out of a job? on: March 28, 2018, 04:50:56 PM
I see first hand that the average bountyhunter spams his/her Twitter and/or Fb accounts with all the bountys they joined. To me this brings absolutly no awerness and value to these projects.
If I would organise a ICO, I would never use bountyhunters to create online exposure, but just pay a agency to help promote it

Any thoughts?

@CryptoLex; you say that yet you are a bitcointalk signiture bounty hunter hearing some tag or day?
Whats the difference between the tweeter bounty and yours?

Exactly. The truth is that he had to satisfy the urge to shit where he and others eat.
420  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How long will it take before bountyhunters be out of a job? on: March 28, 2018, 04:48:56 PM

"I don't want any food if I have to promote scam with 20-50 accounts."

You have most likely never experienced hunger or worried about feeding a family. Your comment shows a complete disregard of people who help promote legit projects in legit ways in order to make a living. It seems you have to show your ignorance by lumping all bounty hunters and the projects promoted by them into the same category. In short: It seems you have to satisfy your urge to shit where others eat.

In any case, I couldn't give two fcks about your half-assed opinion.
