Manchester United looked horrendous vs Brighton and that's coming from a United fan. Mourinho was frustrated and couldn't motivate his team at all. I think the biggest problem here is that United seemed dispirited and demotivated right at the start of the new season which, in my honest opinion, doesn't bode well for the rest of the season and given Mourinho's shaky relationship with the board of directors at United he might be shown the door any time soon.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any way to use bitcoin to pay some entity that requires bank transfer? on: August 23, 2018, 11:39:21 AM
Just keep in mind that some banks might decline deposits if the depositor's name doesn't match that of the account at the issuing bank which is usually what happens when one tries to use payment processors to exchange Bitcoin to fiat and withdraw from there. It's always better to deposit the converted cash into a normal bank account and use your account there to make payments. You could possibly avoid dealing with banks, but it would require you to jump through a lot of hoops.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A company just patented Bitcoin transactions via SMS on: August 23, 2018, 07:44:43 AM
Hmmm what if someone were to steal my phone or hijack my sim card? Could they just send all the Bitcoin to themselves via SMS if I have activated that service on my phone? If there is no protection set in place this 'novelty' could potentially open a lot of mobile Bitcoin holders up for attack by crypto thieves. I am a little bit wary, guys. Just saying.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 23, 2018, 07:32:01 AM
Lots of Europa League matches to choose from tonight. Here are some of my picks with relatively high odds:

Torpedo Kutaisi - Ludogorets BTTS @ 2.25 odds
Suduva - Celtic BTTS @ 2.62 odds
Atalanta - Copenhagen BTTS @ 2.00
Olympiakos Piraeus - Burnley BTTS @ 2.37 odds
Gent - Bordeaux BTTS @ 1.90

Good luck everyone and have a profitable evening  Cool

Some interesting news about Hazard refusing to sign a new contract at Chelsea and that's why:

Quote
CHELSEA star Eden Hazard wants the club to qualify for the Champions League before he agrees to sign a new contract.
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1006259/Chelsea-news-Eden-Hazard-refusing-to-sign-new-Blues-contract-ONE-reason

Quote
But it now looks as though the Belgian will not move to Real Madrid before the Spanish transfer deadline on August 31.
Chelsea will instead move to offer Hazard a new deal at the club, improving his weekly wage from £220,000 to £300,000.
Related articles
However, according to the Times, the forward is unwilling to commit his future to the club until they have regained their place in the Champions League.

So if Hazard stays for the moment at Chelsea but they fail to position in top 4 at the end of the season Hazard might want out in the summer of next year. Looks like Hazard's future with Chelsea depends on how the team will perform this season.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go under FBI investgation on: August 22, 2018, 06:09:15 PM
I would like to mention something slightly off topic. SEC are investigating Elon Musk over his purported attempt to manipulate his Tesla company share price by tweeting out that he wants to buy back investors' shares and make his company private again. His tweet was enough to increase share price considerably in matter of days. I reckon if Bitcoin gets regulated pump and dump instigators and fake news speculators might get investigated for attempted market manipulation as well. Perhaps not by the FBI per say, more likely by the SEC and other agencies alike in different countries.
408  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase just paid this catering vendor in Bitcoins lol on: August 22, 2018, 03:53:28 PM
Or perhaps the catering company was the first one to ever ask Bitcoin payment outside of Coinbase staff?
That is likely to be the case. I'm glad coinbase accepted the deal. Are you sure their staff is paid in bitcoins? That's great then! One of the vendor's comments in the thread was like his business have officially started to accept bitcoins after the coinbase payment which is good.

Yeah I am pretty sure. In fact, I just did a quick Google search to see whether I am remembering this right or not, and this is what I found:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/26/in-bitcoin-work-world-job-benefits-like-pay-401k-get-a-rethink.html

It's straight from CNBC so I think it's pretty legit:

Quote
At cryptocurrency start-ups like Coinbase and BitPay, workers are getting paid in bitcoin.
Some workers take 100 percent of their pay in digital currency, though most take a much smaller percentage and get most of their salary in a traditional paycheck.
The most common use of bitcoin pay as an employee benefit is saving for retirement, similar to an IRA or 401(k).

409  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase just paid this catering vendor in Bitcoins lol on: August 22, 2018, 03:11:06 PM
Wait, what? I thought Coinbase employees get their salary in Bitcoin already right? I am pretty sure I have seen Bitcoin job offerings noting this little detail before. It seems Coinbase paid an independent contractor (the catering company) in Bitcoin which is a precedent for Coinbase as strange as it might sound haha. Or perhaps the catering company was the first one to ever ask Bitcoin payment outside of Coinbase staff?
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casinos community : Is this important for you? on: August 22, 2018, 11:53:34 AM
If 100 people sign that petition I don't think the admins from Bitsler will change their mind.

Gambling communities are nice, you can discuss with different people that shares the same gambling interest and it encourages new people to gamble on casinos that have a good community.

We cant talk on generally but same as Wendigo its a total mess which anytime you can see up those chatboxes im even pissed when i do see beggars but those trollboxes is being put up with purpose and as a player of the site you dont have any choice its either you do socialize or totally ignore it depending in your interest.
I'm the type of user that ignores the chat because of these beggars and only talk when I need help with betting. There's still some good discussion going on from time to time but for the most part I agree with babo it's a mess.

Yeah sometimes you can stumble upon some really kind people but that's rare. Most of the time you end up with online acquaintances who are not your friends and care about you as much as any Facebook friends who have added you without knowing you one bit lol. And sooner or later your gambling buddies will start asking you for tips or coins if you have won big. I have experienced this firsthand.
I can relate to this lol. One month ago I joined a contest on yolodice and ended up winning a small part of the prize pool then some random user started sending me pms and asked for tips just because he/she knows that we are from the same country which made no sense at all.

Actually it makes perfect sense if you think about it for a minute. I have had this happen to me on Nitrogensports chatbox aka the trollbox on multiple occasions. Fellow countrymen are trying to guilt trip you into giving them a portion of the winnings just because you are from the same country hence being 'close online buddies'. Some chat dwellers squat in the chat all day long keeping tabs on winners bragging about their winnings and then beg for some coins. It's basically the same as in real world casinos where you have desperate gamblers begging strangers for some spare change near the slot machines corner. It's awful.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casinos community : Is this important for you? on: August 22, 2018, 09:20:34 AM
I generally shy away from casinos and sportsbooks that have forums and/or a trollbox, because it's usually a waste of time trying to socialize with other bettors online. The chats are a big mess, there are lots of spammers and beggars, power-tripping mods acting all high and mighty etc. If I needed some company I would go out with friends or something. I don't want to listen to the chatter of some addicted gamblers online as it has been the case at almost all cryptobooks with chatboxes. Nitrogensports and Primedice are the worst in that regard.

In the most cases is a mess
You are right, but in my experience some time i talk with kindly guys and i socialize with them

If no chat/forum present, yes you avoid mess, but you deny the possibility to socialize spare time

Got 2 right out of 3 yesterday, not too bad. A little bit bummed that Benfica couldn't get the win given their huge home advantage but oh well. For tonight I have Ajax - Dinamo Kyiv BTTS, Young Boys - Dinamo Zagreb BTTS and MOL Vidi - AEK half-time 0-0. Good luck everyone!
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 21, 2018, 05:24:12 PM
I still remember that time, the first time I bet on sports betting, I won big and could pay off my debt, I thought it was a good start and I was wrong, after I always lost and I always tried to have it again. Grin

You should have stopped when you were ahead mate. That's what happens to beginners who lucked out with some nice wins at the start and thought they would bathe in money in no time  Roll Eyes When I was a rookie bettor and was starting to learn the ropes of sportsbetting online I lost my bankroll a couple of times before I learned self-discipline and management of funds. It always went like that - I got a series of wins, felt overconfident and then followed with some reckless big bets trying to maximize profit only to end up with 0 in my account after a while. Those were some hard and costly lessons to learn.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 21, 2018, 05:09:38 PM
^  Lol.  Then something has to be way waaay off.  Grin

Man City thrashed Huddersfield 6 - 1 (but you prolly already know that).  Let's see how Liverpool does vs Palace.  I hope to see more of the same.  It should be good to see City vs LFC again this season.  Smiley

Liverpool should win tonight. But I don't think Crystal Palace will just hand them the victory without a fight. I also think the match will likely be a high-scoring one too so I am going with a combo bet of BTTS & Liverpool to win @ 2.8 odds. 1 Palace goal will suffice and hopefully Liverpool will do their job as well Wink

Almost but no...  Too bad Townsend's shot hit the wood work.  And I expected more from Zaha.

Anyway, good thing I didn't bet on the +1.5 for Palace at 1.80.  Lol.  I almost did it.

Yeah buddy it didn't happen even though there were some great goal opportunities for Palace. I was trying to bump up the odds on Liverpool a little bit and I had to either take them with AH or trust Palace to score a goal in the match. I chose the latter unfortunately. I hope the Premier League stays competitive as it would be boring to be taking crazy Asian handicaps on heavy favorites all the time like in other leagues.

416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Opinions : Odds Trading VS Crypto Trading on: August 21, 2018, 10:37:18 AM
Making money on betting exchanges is fine and multiple income streams are great, but I just wanted to say that if you aren't trading some massive amounts of money you shouldn't expect to get rich doing that. Just don't have very high expectations if you aren't a pro that's all  Wink I don't like it much, because it's more time-consuming and less rewarding than sportsbetting, albeit less risky. If you can make it work and are happy with the profit - good for you mate  Cheesy
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 21, 2018, 10:25:16 AM
Tonight we have 3 Champions League qualifier matches. BATE are especially strong at home and PSV are no slouches either so I think there is a high chance for BTTS @ 1.80 odds in that game. I like over 2.5 goals and BTTS in Benfica - PAOK and Crvena Zvezda win or draw @ 1.70 odds. The Serbians are pretty formidable as hosts and I really like the 3.80 odds for home win so might put something on that as well. Good luck!

419  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Blockchain Says It’s Adding 50k Users Per Day on: August 20, 2018, 08:16:30 AM
The Blockchain wallet was my first Bitcoin wallet. It was especially appealing to crypto newcomers and I think back in the days it was the most popular online wallet by far. I reckon new users of Bitcoin, who aren't interested in trading or exchanging their coins and simply want to hold long-term, would sign up at Blockhain wallet rather than at Coinbase. Both services cater to different needs and I am glad that Blockchain wallet is still sought after.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the highest lost you have made as gambler? on: August 20, 2018, 07:17:44 AM
Well that sucks. That's why it has been said so many times that you should never bet all-in even if you feel most confident about a certain outcome. Sh!t happens. Successful bankroll management is wagering 5% of the bankroll per bet tops and never ever going above that limit otherwise a series of losses will bust you. I guess your friend went all-in and now has no funds to try recouping his loss.
