401  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chess Game that Used Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2016, 04:11:36 AM
But I guess on chess.com you will find Grand Masters level players perfectly capable of beating most of Chess bots.
Not everyone has access to advanced Chess programs and those available publicly probably can't beat top human players.

You are wrong twice and clearly have no idea what you are talking about. A publically accessible chess engine called Stockfish is capable of beating many grandmasters, even when at a disadvantage of one pawn.

Everyone has access to this, and it's open-source.

http://www.computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/404/

On this page, the top 50 engines are above the world champion's peak rating. But please! Go on about how grandmasters are perfectly capable of beating most chess bots.

Furthermore, I doubt that any bitcoin gamblers are chess grandmasters.

However, I don't think that using such a complicated bot would be worth it on a small bitcoin chess site. Making a chess site for money is simply not feasible at all, fiat or bitcoin.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Graduate student conducting betting survey for thesis-please help! on: October 25, 2016, 04:06:45 AM
Just a suggestion, if you don't get enough replies, perhaps you can open a thread in the "Services" subforum of bitcointalk and offer a small bitcoin incentive to fill out your survey. I'm sure that lots of people would participate if you did this. Good luck OP with your thesis!
403  Economy / Gambling / Re: Boiled Brains - new game on: October 25, 2016, 03:59:40 AM

I can see that OP is not online after his 5 posts.

monitoring with your main account  Tongue why don't you fully develop the concept and post this announcement in a proper way and by the way whats the bounty, how would i know the site you have provided is not a phishing site just to hijack my wallet Wink

Other people have made deposits without any problems, if you are worried, just play with small amounts of bitcoin, and when you make an account, don't use the same password as you use on other sites. OP can't actually "hijack your wallet" from his gambling site.
404  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: October 23, 2016, 01:05:33 AM

Bustabit actually can be +EV if you play for the bonuses, so it is possible to profit in the long run on Bustabit.

I'm excited to see how long those whales can keep up their winning streak.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling/ games of luck to start from 0? on: October 22, 2016, 02:27:03 AM
I also would like to say this playing with faucet amount is not a good idea in the end you will get nothing after playing for hours on dice sites, there is quite low chance to turn this amount into huge amount by playing on big odds, so if you feel lucky than you have to try with some deposited money and play for fun to test this how it works.
Playing with faucet and playing with bitcoin will give a different experience. If we play with faucet, this will not give more fun, and we will not feel that game. Suppose if you play the same game with Bitcoin it will be more fun, and you will thoroughly enjoy the game. The feelings are also different. You don't want to lose money, and you need fun means play with faucet or you can afford your loss means play with real money.

Yes, but there is no way to play for free without using a faucet. OP simply doesn't have any bitcoin to gamble with, which is why he wants a site where he can gamble for free.

OP, I run a faucet where you can play dice with the satoshis you claim, you might be interested in checking it out: bitcoinshowers.com/btcgame/
406  Economy / Gambling / Re: HotPot - Lottery/Auction Style Gambling on: October 22, 2016, 02:22:30 AM
Previously OP admitted to SCAM...
Tragedy is, he also asked Is stealing Bitcoin illegal?

LOL
he was the OP from Is stealing Bitcoin illegal?
hard to believe in this site after that...

That thread also was made years ago and I was referring to somebody generating address which already had BTC in it.
dude, doesn't matter if the history on the thread were about generating address which already had btc..
you have a gambling site without escrow and you start a thread asking if steal bitcoin is illegal, what should anyone think about that?

I don't care what they think. I can't force you to play. You guys completely took that thread out of context. I don't legally need escrow and I don't even need it to post on this forum. I have said many times now and it is annoying me, I am willing to do escrow. First I must find somebody to do escrow, and nobody is willing. So where does that leave me? To forget my investment and close the site? No.

There are a lot of escrows on bitcointalk, I'm sure not all of them will turn you down.

Check out this list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0

Good luck with your site!
407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Boiled Brains - new game on: October 22, 2016, 02:18:59 AM
tried to play but nobody was online... any way, the idea is great but still need some improvements. A "how to" is a must.
and why "boiled brains"? i think you should change this name.. just my opinion tho.

OP has just written a how to play, you can now read it.

It looks like a very fun and interesting game OP, but is there a possibility that bots can be used to exploit this game?

Also, what % of deposits do you take?
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 22, 2016, 02:14:48 AM
^^^Title speaks for itself...
i heard about the bustabit.com which claims that it had no house edge but some user declare it as this site has some house edge because of their losses of bitcoin in gambling they get some experience and declares that the site has about 0.5 house edge .

Bustabit has something called a variable house edge; it changes. You can use this odds calculator to see an estimate of the house edge when you bet: https://www.bustabit.com/calculator

If you play for the bonus successfully, you can reduce the house edge even further.

Another prediction:

Game: CSGO
Match: Selfless vs QuetzaL
Prediction: Selfless ML

I would bet medium here on Selfless, as on QuetzaL, MarkE is the only player that really stands out, but I don't think he's anywhere as good as the Selfless fraggers. Bet medium on Selfless.

Unfortunately, this bet got postponed, so we didn't get to see the results. My earlier bet on FaZe also lost, I am a bit disappointed in FaZe.

Game: CSGO
Match: G2 vs SK
Prediction: SK ML

I'd say it's pretty safe to bet on SK here, as they are the best team in the world. G2 has talent, but they haven't been performing lately, losing to lower ranked teams. Bet medium on SK.

i think there is always a house edge limit of every gambling site .
it other matter if the admin of the gambling site says that have 0% house edge .
well somes days ago i found a thread in this forum by girlsbtc.com . this admin says that the site have 0% house edge so you can try this ,but if you get any loss than don't blame me .

GirlBTC.com does not have a house edge as it is a PvP game that takes a fee from your deposit. However, not many people are active there, so you might not have anyone to play against.

There are no gambling websites that are having this because gambling websites needs to stay surviving.
I think its also not something that we should want because it would be bad for sure.

yes, house edge 0% its impossible because owner need profit

i have seen many dice sites that start new are  giving 0% house edge and they still make profit from it.

also i have also seen many dice  sites that have been  setting their house edge to 0% for one day  for example on their birthday or  some other occasion to celebrate and they still make profit.

Could you please link to one of these dice sites with 0% house edge? I don't believe such sites exist.
412  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOLI.CENTER - Addictive on: October 21, 2016, 05:29:49 AM

Where is gambling site?

He seems to have figured out loans are better for scamming than gambling.

He's posted about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1651863.0

I'd normally say that I expect nobody to use it but seeing that some people randomly decided to spend on an unknown gambling site, I wouldn't be too surprised.

I also think OP is not trusted person and get stated with fake gambling site than it turned into loaning site, but these tricks are now old fashioned and people know how to avoid these kind of scam site to send any money there.

Looks like OP's site, whether used for gambling or loaning, is down once again. He probably realized he wouldn't get any business and took it down. Mods, I believe that this thread should be locked.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How House Edge effect on Wining on Bitcoin Gambling ? on: October 21, 2016, 05:18:05 AM

If you want to avoid the house edge, try playing sports betting or poker.

For more details, you can read about the house edge here.
I know even in sports betting (bitcoin sportsbook) there is still house edge if you compare the odds of the same match in your favorite sportsbook to another you sometimes notice one is higher than the other.

True, but that's not really a house edge. That's just different sportsbooks with different odds, sports betting does not have a fixed percentage.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How House Edge effect on Wining on Bitcoin Gambling ? on: October 21, 2016, 04:55:45 AM
Think of a roulette wheel; on a single zero roulette wheel there are 36 numbers plus the green zero. The green zero is to prevent it form being completely 50/50 so the casino still has an advantage over you.

If you want to avoid the house edge, try playing sports betting or poker.

For more details, you can read about the house edge here.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling website with minimum bankroll on: October 20, 2016, 03:16:11 AM
Why not use moneypot.com?

You'll have to split your site's profits with them, but they will supply the bankroll for you, so you won't have to worry about losing all your bitcoins or not having enough to run a gambling site.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need help trying to calculate provably fair on: October 20, 2016, 03:14:50 AM
NLNico is right, if you want a detailed explanation, you'll have to provide a detailed question. What site did you play on?

If you're playing on a well known site, it's probable that there was an error somewhere. However, if it was on a lesser known dice site, they could be cheating you. Most sites on bitcointalk without negative feedback are not scams, but it is not a 100% guarantee.
417  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Become a bookmaker for almost free on: October 20, 2016, 03:09:12 AM
pm me demo thanks

OP posted the demo earlier... it's www.morrisonbet.com. You can see how the site looks like and how it'll work.

You might want to check this script out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1642079

I can't testify if the script works well or not, but from the demo, it looks pretty decent. Good luck!
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: October 20, 2016, 03:06:15 AM
Game: CSGO
Match: G2 vs Dignitas
Prediction: Dignitas ML

This will be a very close match; G2 has the potential to win, however the are very shaky and do not perform consistently. For this reason, I'd place a small bet on the underdog, dignitas.
i check this one i think it has some good deal here if the bet will win, good luck

It kind of worked out; dignitas won one of the BO1's but G2 won the other.

Next match:

Game: CSGO
Match: Cloud9 vs FaZe
Prediction: FaZe ML

2 teams with decent players that have been under performing lately. I believe that even though FaZe is the underdog, they can still pull off a win here. Hence, I am betting low on FaZe.
420  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitrevolver.net - Fun Bitcoin roulette - Try your luck! on: October 20, 2016, 02:55:24 AM
You need to be logged on to see the provably fair option, but it's provably fair for every users.

I can confirm, I tested out OP's site and when you log in, there is a "provably fair" box in the bottom left corner where you can check to see if it is provably fair or not. His site is provably fair.

Good luck with your site OP!
