401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 07, 2024, 02:30:07 PM
Won't there be any problem when it's said that Ryan is addicted to gambling and while this match is about to come, win or lose there will be a share that will go to him. Like being taken cared of for the affairs of boxers like him because we've seen a lot of them go professional and then become broke after their retirement.

But anyway, this isn't the affairs we're having on this thread but about the few weeks left as this match is 2 weeks away for it to happen.
I heard him say in one press conference that it's a huge responsibility that at a very young age he already making $10 million, Ryan is not matured enough to handle big things, this is why we see an emotional breakdown and a shift of characters, the load is too much for this young guy.

And because of this Haney thinks its an easy fight for him he is unbothered by Ryan's behavior
Quote
“Ryan is just another opponent for me. I feel like I’m in competition with greatness,” said Haney. “That’s why I train so hard, and that’s why I work so hard. Even if my opponent isn’t focused. I don’t know if he is or he isn’t. That’s not for us to focus on. I still put my all into getting better and better.”

Source: Devin Haney Embraces Light Welterweight, Dismisses Ryan's Antics - Boxing News 24 (https://www.boxingnews24.com/2024/04/devin-haney-embraces-light-welterweight-dismisses-ryans-antics/)

There's a big contrast between these two, Haney is very relaxed and confident while Ryan is like a kid who wants people to know how great he is, so obviously we know who will win in this fight.
402  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Future of online poker - PokerFi on: April 07, 2024, 10:52:16 AM

I am not member of the team of  PokerFi. I am just topic starter.

Then you have to state on the announcement that you are not part of the team, this is a gambling announcement and without giving them your participation on the platform people will think that you are part of the team, and any issue that may arise coming from users who participate coming from this this announcement then you are partly responsible and may we know are you hired in their behalf to announce their project here.

Looks like the project is a failed one based on how long they have been running the platform and not getting enough support, there's a risk in participating in this project so join or invest at your own risk.
403  Local / Pilipinas / Re: SEC Slams eToro for Offering Unregistered Securities on: April 07, 2024, 10:09:27 AM

404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: April 07, 2024, 08:55:14 AM
It's good that the two will finally have a real fight in the ring after that sparring session where Martin told people that it was him who hurt Tank when they sparred.

He rated Tank Davis as the second big hitter he faced in sparring ahead of an unknown guy named Pablo, he underestimated Tank's power level in this interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfD-2uYkUWc

Let's see if he still thinks that Pablo is the power hitter after Tank after Tank knocks him out, the big that he fought was Romero Duno.

Though he has good highlights so far in his career I don't think it is enough to beat Tank.

405  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Dive Into Bitwinup: The Ultimate Crypto Trading Arena is Here! 🎲 on: April 07, 2024, 08:26:05 AM
In my opinion, the game is interesting, but it would become even more interesting if users had more opportunities to predict the outcome of price movements. This can only be done by increasing the game timeframe. Indeed, 15 and 30 seconds are too short and the luck factor plays almost 100% here. If the timeframes were at least 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day or even 1 week long, then the result would be more predictable and analysts, and not just entertainment lovers, would start playing this game. The color scheme of the site is also fun, but sometimes it can be annoying to the eyes.
If you set the timeframe to over an hour, that's a lot of waiting and I guess it's not anymore viable to a casino because as much as possible they want to maximize their profit, so fast result would give that and they'll say no to longer results, unless the minimum bet is increase but I still doubt it will be more profitable for them compared to the current set up.

The platform is not like other Binary trading where you have to wait hours this is more like a Crash game concept type of platform where you have to think fast and base it on hunch or luck or your skill in analysis, this is created for gamblers for excitement and engagement and not for full-time traders where you have to look on outside sources and market sentiment to come out with a definite prediction.
The game is fast, and there is total control of your emotions something that you can also find in a Crash game

This coin has been here since 2021 as we can see in https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pokerfi/

I'm just curious, why is this altcoin is not yet listed in a decent exchange? And here they now make an ANN thread, why it had not happen in the past.
Can OP tell more about this project as this looks like a dead project that was recently reborn to me, please correct me if I'm wrong.

OP has to confirm if he is part of the team or just hired to market the platform, for a project to have existed for 3 years and have not move up or added in a decent exchange, it can only mean that they are not properly marketed it so its possible that they've hired OP to shill the project, because OP has the word marketing in his username.

So far the project only has on exchange and its a decentralized exchange if you compared it to other projects' performance that started three years I can say that this project will soon become a shitcoin with a current The current CoinMarketCap ranking is #4939.
407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 06, 2024, 03:58:54 PM

Currently, meme coins are gaining popularity, with a new coin appearing in the market almost daily or weekly. The prevailing belief is that meme coins offer the highest ROI, which they are delivering.

Then, why not create a platform for predicting the performance of any cryptocurrency or a platform for predicting future trends in the market or both?

Why not but will it gain support from players who are accustomed to playing games that they played for many years, the platform that you are suggesting is for traders and altcoins investors which many of the gamblers are not.
The market trend is constantly changing what's trending now may not be trending the next day and a new one will come up and the developers' money and effort will be wasted, but who knows a developer will catch this idea and come out with one
But for now, it's the traditional online casinos that are getting the support of the gambling community.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A few crypto questions. on: April 06, 2024, 03:23:40 PM

So, we all say that hodling is better than trading, yeah?
It's better if you know how to trade but if you cannot allocate time and effort then Hodling is the best thing that you can do.

Quote
And I think the only way to earn from cryptocurrency is by exchanging it for fiat currency, right?
Yes, to make a profit from your investment you should be able to liquidate it on profit.

Quote
Meaning, the hodling is just for the value to increase over a while and then you still trade it right?
And for the altcoins, after buying altcoins, what happens if no one wants to buy them from you? You know a lot of altcoins aren't all that popular so how do people even sell off their altcoins? Can you even hodl altcoins
I don't recommend holding altcoins, altcoins are very much different from Bitcoin, you can hodl it for a number of years and you will expect profit in the future, on altcoins if you hodl it without monitoring its performance in the market you will be surprised that you lose your investment, of course it depends on altcoins there are altcoins that perform better.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: April 06, 2024, 03:01:52 PM
Gambling is not a place to make money but it's not also a place to just lose it it's a place where you can take a chance to make money if you have a chance, gambling platform promote themselves as an entertainment platform and there is no free ride on something you derive your enjoyment so the bet is a form of payment to that entertainment.
The trouble is some gamblers think that they can beat the house so they pressure themselves to win leading them to addiction, don't deceive yourself and accept the fact and you are good to go.
410  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Dive Into Bitwinup: The Ultimate Crypto Trading Arena is Here! 🎲 on: April 06, 2024, 01:39:01 PM
^^
No matter how experienced in trading you are, it's almost impossible to predict what the price would be or whether it will go up or down in the next 15 or 30 seconds. First because the difference between the starting price and the ending price is almost negligible and second because 15 or even 30 seconds isn't enough to analyze the market.
As you said, it's a luck based game so just enjoy it.
I don't really think it mainly base on luck there's still need of some analysis in order to get a higher chance of winning though luck may have a role here but it's not the basic.
Though entirely it kind be seen as a fun prediction of bitcoin price.
There's always a trend and if you have a photographic memory you can catch that trend to make good results in your betting since the time frame is within 30 seconds you can catch the trend on 3 to 6 successive betting or even more before there is a shift, you will need big funds and total engagement to have a favorable results its fun and challenging.

Also Op please, is there any chance of adding other third-party aside Changely, which may accept lesser minimum deposit with other crypto.
The other alternative with good reviews is Gate.io based on this articles
https://www.g2.com/products/changelly/competitors/alternatives
So what would you recommend loading is good but revising the script will add more loads to the script its better to use your in-wallet swap I always do it on Trust Wallet then I transfer my Polygon on Bitwinup.
411  Local / Pamilihan / Re: To Etoro & XM users on: April 06, 2024, 12:20:08 PM
412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling problems on different races on: April 06, 2024, 10:59:20 AM
Gambling problem is a serious issue which has affected the millions of gamblers in the world generally. While anyone can develop a problem with gambling, i tend to understand that race has more to contribute to the problems of gambling in the society. Most historical practices and traditional system of gambling practices within the different race has an influence and if a gambler do not take these things into consideration he would face more problems as a gambler.
You have to back it up with data and not just assume it's a fact, I always post that it is inherent to humans to want to take risks and to have fun and gambling platforms are good venues to pour it all, regardless of your race, color or even belief, anyone and everyone can be tempted to take a risk, every human is prone to addiction whether to drugs, alcohol or gambling, all human have the same desires, the desires to accumulate and to have pleasures.

Quote
Africans have little of gambling addict because they have only local gambling shops (lack of economic opportunities to improve the level of gambling). so they rarely reach full addiction. While in some other part of the world like the white, they are more likely to have co-occurring gambling disorders because of  depression or anxiety. And other races have high rate of gambling problems due to the presence of casinos on reservations, for example in Asia.
So it's not about race but more about the culture and the economic situation in a country that makes one addicted to gambling if you take out the belief and just rely on human emotion, they will all act as one it's not the race but more on the culture and the prevailing economic condition that makes one addicted to gambling.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does prediction in sport work for you? on: April 05, 2024, 01:18:41 PM

If you are interested in gambling on sports, do you rely on prediction betting sites? Why?
What is the most prominent site you rely on?

There's nothing wrong with prediction sites for bettors like me I use them online and offline on offline I used a prediction program in pamphlets to bet on horse racing and it helped me with my analysis they have database compilations of each race participant and they make a comparisons something that will take you a lot of time and effort if you're going to do it all by yourself.

But in the end, it should be your analysis and decision that matters, I used these materials and tips to strengthen my picks, because these prediction sites and materials are not always perfect.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: April 05, 2024, 11:59:36 AM
Matias isn’t undefeated but he has already avenged his only loss and still has that impressive 100% win by KO ratio. Puerto Rico was once a hotbed of boxing but since Miguel Cotto retired, the island has been searching for the next great champion. Matias is in a division where if he can beat the other champions he will become a big star.
Subriel Matias can claim that he is the new face of boxing in Puerto Rico, because of his dominant showing in the Ergashev fight if he impressively beats Paro he will have more great fights, the division where he is a champion is loaded of great names after this fight promoters will be looking to pit him to other great names like Teofimo Lopez ,Isaac Cruz or even Davin Haney

Quote
We’ve seen recently that fighters from Australia, such as Tim Tszyu, Kambosos, and the Moloney brothers, are always very durable and tough to beat. I expect Paro to win some rounds but his success will be limited. Matias’ power will just be too much and will eventually break him.
Subriel can take a punch and he has the power if you're a guy with 100% knock-out power your opponent has something to worry about, he is a marked man in that division and he only needs more big names with good records like Liam Paro to establish himself, in the Super Welterweight division.
415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your gambling experiences shared here could serve as lessons to others on: April 05, 2024, 10:05:51 AM
My hardest experience in gambling has always been chasing my losses I have experienced these two times already you should accept the fact that in gambling you could lose and you could win and every session is very different from the other one.

The first one happened when I was staking my token on one casino It was a large amount of tokens I accumulated participating in their campaign, and the loss was heartbreaking because I was earning $5 to $8 daily and I could have earned more.

The second one was a year ago It was out of having too many drinks and I was out of focus from losing a few dollars I lost hundreds of dollars trying to regain my losses.
So only play what you can afford to lose and don't let your emotion gets the better of you
416  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gambling winning streak on: April 04, 2024, 04:22:04 PM

Share your experience guys.

417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lately I've been thinking about this a lot. on: April 04, 2024, 03:31:33 PM

Now I started to think about the real life UFC, maybe this is even happening underground and we don't know? Jake and Mike Tyson's upcoming fight for example is gearing up, many believe that Mike will win, but maybe something like this will happen?
If it's an exhibition fight, there's a possibility of fixing it because it's all for the show but if it is a real fight and there's something at stake they will have second thoughts about fixing the game because people are watching the fight closely, and if they are caught fixing a real fight then people will not support their coming fights.

Quote
Many gamblers are placing bets on this fighter since its more reliable than you against the casino games, this is all about agility and skills, but the possibility of intent loss to make more money is also possible in this game, what's your take on this?
They cannot do it in title fights and if it is sanctioned by big organizations they will nullify their license if caught, game fixing is a serious offense and the organizations have observers to see if the fight is not being fixed, it's a big gamble for the part of perpetrators they will lose money, reputation and even go to jail if found guilty.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local/Traditional Gambling Spots on: April 04, 2024, 01:38:17 PM

Have you visited the traditional gambling sport  in your place? How do the traditional gambling games and spots in your country look? Have you gambled the local way?  How was your experience, then?

We have two traditional gambling sports here in our country, horse racing and cock fighting I visited the horse racing betting platform and there are always a lot of people playing they are holding program pamphlets to mark their bets on a given race.

I visit and bet on these two platforms whenever a friend asks me to accompany him and is also the one who spent on my bets so how can I ignore them?

betting on these platforms, horse racing, and cock fighting is very exciting there's a lot of noise and shouting that adds up to the excitement our folks here are regular to these platforms, this is their regular weekend habit and its been a tradition for many years here in our country.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 04, 2024, 01:03:37 PM

As online gambling platforms continue to grow in popularity, I’ve been wondering about the future of traditional, land based casinos. With the convenience and accessibility of online betting, will brick-and-mortar casinos become a thing of the past, or will they evolve to offer experiences that can’t be replicated online?

Do you think they’ll manage to hold their ground, or will we see a shift towards exclusively digital platforms?

Of course, they can manage, physical casinos have regular clients and these are people who are used to the ambiance of physical casinos because casinos are not only places to gamble but are also entertainment place and a venue where people socialize, they offer free drinks and free concerts.
This is where the venues popular and high society frequent and spend a lot of money making the physical casinos profitable.

Physical casinos are situated in hotels and tourist spots making them a top pick for tourists. Physical casinos are already an industry of their own, they can sustain themselves because they have a market to serve.
420  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much gambling can change a person and how low his mind can go. on: April 04, 2024, 11:45:46 AM
...... So baboon how much the person has become addicted to gambling that he steals money from his family and gambles and loses. I only shared this incident here because a family must be most aware of their child or else they will surely become addicted to gambling like this person. Every family has a responsibility to keep their children well, so everyone must always attract your children to the good side so that they don't get into gambling dens.

It's a bane for a family to have a child like this doing this to his family, it causes depression and worry for the parents, and they have to do something immediate and necessary to avoid the worst-case scenario and that is stealing from other people.

The family should at all times check their child's activities, and make sure that their children grow up to become a good child and useful citizens of their country, both the parents and the families have to protect the welfare of their children from gambling addiction.

Gambling addiction in children is serious and both the government and the family, have to address the issue the government can instruct the gambling platform not to accept minors and to remind their clients to gamble responsibly.
