421  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Asics Technologies starts now Pre-Orders for 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: July 10, 2014, 01:39:03 AM
This was exactly the same Titanium Bitcoin Asic Miner prototype we have showed at the CEBE 2014 in Vienna (AUSTRIA)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBfheXMVOeg

Due to the noise it was not possible to turn it on at the CEBE!

If that's so then what are the red and green blinking lights on the boards if the device is not powered on?

This thread has turned into dog shit the same as the company.

These scam vendors are hilarious. Dutch tend to have superior English skills and the errors you make are similar to those made by Romanians. You aren't the same people who brought us that gem called BTC Olympus?
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 09, 2014, 05:25:21 PM
Many accurately predicted delivery date exactly including what appears to be a pause.
Please show your homework for this statement, as it certainly doesn't ring true for people who read this thread fully and regularly.
I was certainly under the illusion that KFC would ship in q1. When BC said they were still in development in Jan then it finally dawned on me that Avenger was right. I promptly asked for a refund sadly realizing that it would never ROI if it were not released in q1.
425  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 09, 2014, 03:17:47 AM
What does this mean?

Don’t parallel connected different DC input from different PSU into the same Hashing board.
It means you cant use two different power supplies for one S3
on the same board - if designed like the s1 it should have 2 boards. 1 power supply could work on 1 on the right and 1 could work on the left. However, it'd just be recommended to get 1 power supply that has enough pci-e connectors to do the job and power the miner.

NEWS FLASH

It's the 8th day into Q3 and my order still says "paid".

Payment cleared December 8th; I checked with my bank so that's seven full months.

Come on KnC, it's time to give me my money back!

Is the reason they are not shipping any more products due to the lack of usable chips? They alluded to this in a past newsletter. If their first run produces few usable chips how long would it reasonably take for them to run another batch?
427  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1700 per unit on: July 07, 2014, 10:55:55 PM
When is somebody going to make a magical money printing machine that is plug and play? :/

Lol the Antminers are basically plug and play Smiley (It cannot get much easier)

Yeah, but the whole IP thing, mining configuration, admin password, and the power plug. So untoasterish. Smiley

I can start a service "mining for dummies" not meant as an insult but to mock the book series. You call us up give us your pool info we config and ship it to you plug and play ready all you do is plug in power and data and off you go  Shocked

for a low low fee of 0.3BTC? Could be popular...
sadly, I do agree that people would sign up. But wait, there's more! What about MaaS - Mining as a Service! Maintain and run the miners from their home. We're so smart.

5 BTC/day for a while?? when was that and how much was that avalon???  Shocked Shocked Shocked

B1 Avalons earned more than 5BTC/Day when they first arrived.  As per your question: March of 2013.  They were ~$1,200 for the first batch and $1,500 (IIRC) for the second.

wow........ then those who had that avalon since they first arrived... now they are rich or what?? xDD

5BTC/Day...... how many days lasted that gift? xD

Just be thankful you had no dealings with bfl.  --> bfl is the company? problems with them?.

bfl = butterflylabs = the most hated company for asics around = very long delays more then 13 months on some cases.

more than 13 months?? ommggg xD hope thats not the case with my pair of S3 xDD

Hop out of this and take a look at any BFL, Hashfast or Cointerra thread to see how lucky you are to have never sunk money into those cancerous ops.
431  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 06, 2014, 01:06:47 AM
One thing to think about is we are all fairly confident we'll see these this month. How many other bitcoin asuc manufacturers would you believe when they give you a shipping date? I wouldn't trust any of them.

I ordered a Spondoolie SP10 and received it 8 days later. It was brand new and never mined with by the manufacturer. It was only tested to make sure it worked, and that was on my own account too. Bitcoin manufacturers are now mining with pre-order rigs, making the best profits the rig will ever make, then shipping them out. Yea, it's that greed bug.

Yea, sorry for the multiple posts.....trying to catch up on a thread in this forum is almost impossible there is so much talk about this and that.

OT is on the loose! LOL, always appreciate your comments, amigo.

How about it Bitmain, can I get an autographed S3 ?

~L)L~

Hahahahah Epic ! Sign mines too ! Tongue

signed first edition (batch one) they have plenty of time to sign the cases(well 6 days anyway)  Roll Eyes
That would look really cool with the Chinese characters.

People need to stop complaining about KNC and start using their brains before dumping out $10k on a pre-order. Trust me, I know the feeling. You see a brand new product and want to be one of the first to order it. Your blood pressure increases, you make typing mistakes on the keyboard because you want to move faster, you move some of that bitcoin around and BAM, make that purchase. Then right after the purchase, go to the forum and post a thread that you just ordered blah blah blah blah blah and can't wait to get it. Start posting what order# you got and the torture starts.

So true. Been there, done that, stopped doing it. If the Math doesn't work out then don't do it.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 02, 2014, 08:02:34 PM
S3s are .74 btc each. 7 of those run you 5.18 btc. If you got a refund a bit back and used that 10Gs you could buy 20 of those at the current price of $650_btc. That's over 9.5T without OC. Hodor
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 28, 2014, 03:53:16 PM
Aww, how sweet.... and how "thoughtful, informative, well-constructed" were his comments when he told everyone that KNC filed for bankruptcy?

[/quote]

We're you going Aloha or something?
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 26, 2014, 07:36:55 PM
This is a repost from kncforum, but they'll take it down soon. If you're still waiting on a refund I would do as this person says and contact these people:

Here is a link to Sweden's English newspaper. Anybody that is waiting for a refund please write to them so that this story gets out:

http://www.thelocal.se/page/view/contact

http://www.econsumer.gov/

You can also file a complaint with Swedish consumer watch dog

Konsumentverket@konsumentverket.se

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comm...t_verket_over/

Anybody else that knows of any links or newspapers to get this story out and to see that we are refunded our money please lets us know.
439  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 25, 2014, 08:46:55 PM
They are delaying it because of technical issues, they are test running the s3s to provide the same reliable miner s1 was with the same price that will ROI just like s1 did. Maybe just one day before diff hits 16G they would open for orders.

I am very glad they are doing this. I'd much rather wait (really, a week -that's nothing) and get quality equipment than get it now and have to ghetto engineer it to get it to hash at advertised speed.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 25, 2014, 08:40:44 PM
its nearly impossible to get a Titan refund at this point.

Per their ToS it is, but just be persistent yet polite and they may change their mind. You may find someone human over there that may care a smidge and do the right thing.
