If i want to deploy a contract on ethereum to make a new coin, how do i do it? i know it can be done on ethereum wallet and mist but its taking weeks to download the blockchain with those!
is there any light wallet i can use for this?

If BTC will have the hard fork, means BTC will sink.
Is that means that all exchanges will now put ETH as prime coin to trade with?

Does anyone know a good resource that shows when altcoins will be placed on exchanges and when - like a coinschedule or ICO alert style resource with dates and times but for when the coins will be listed? coinmarketcap has their new coin lost but it doesn't give exact times or any lead-up. thanks, people who know more than me.

One of my friends has invested early-ish in Ether (a few hundred shares just <$100), he has hopes of becoming a millionaire off of this investment as he expects/hopes for Etherum to overtake Bitcoin in value at some point. Another friend who has been in the space longer says he may make $100k+, but the likelihood of supplanting Bitcoin and him becoming a millionaire is very, very small. He says if Bitcoin were to crash/be replaced, all cryptocurrency would suffer and be devalued. Is that a likely true statement? Why is this scenario different than other economic situations?
Eth can't survive long term so chance is he will not be a millionaire. |
