421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 08, 2020, 01:17:30 PM
This is one incident which is being reported. I am sure there will be many more cases where people might have committed  suicide or have become very much hopeless on losing bets. People in most of the asian countries try to change their fate by participating in betting but mostly end up losing their valuables and lives.
People are gambling at a very young age because they do not have proper guidance and second they see it as a way to escape poverty, they won big amount of money when they are starting out and they want to push their luck and they lured to it, until they cannot escape anymore and they want to chase their losses and hit the jackpot, which will never come.
Those gamblers who think to escape poverty is though gambling should be tested for possible critical health issue, i mean; if anyone with the right sense think about this. Most of this happenings are attributed to gamblers greed, this mostly is associated with gamblers except some very few ones with self control. When greed step into a gamblers life, then forget their thinking as they will be thinking outside the box of good reasoning.

Though, you could have been the most luckiest among the forum remembers if the price downtrend after you made your sales. Don't blame yourself dude because there is still much time to get into the market to pick profit again, for your information, those who sold at $13-15+ are still making frantic efforts to buy back, please kindly do (not investment advise tor).
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 07, 2020, 11:41:54 AM
Impressive performance from the past couple of weeks is this the effect of American election?
BTC has pumped 9% in the past one week and has gained the momentum and inching towards 15k now after 2017 it has broked the 14 k barrier and setting up for new heights guys this performance from BTC was remarkable and a boost for many altcoins too. I guess it will break 20k barrier by the end of the year hopefully.
The pump happens after Biden showing that he is winning, is there a relationship to the US election that we are having a big pump, it's been quite some time that we have something like this, if this is the start of the bull run then I don't see it going down again before the year ends and it may end up in $18 k.
For Biden electing to be US President doesn't have any relationship with the current pump in the price of Bitcoin, remember, Bitcoin is decentralized and not even the world powers can influence bullish thread in Bitcoin. As for this moment, the price of Bitcoin can't be determine by the recent upsurge in it price, anything can still pretty much happen along the line before this year 2020 runs-out, but, let hope for a better ending of 2020 because it's been long-time we experienced bullish like this.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bloomberg Financial Journalist Tracy Alloway Flips: I'm bullish on BTC now on: November 07, 2020, 11:22:27 AM
Grin they're just like the storm; today for the bullish and probably tomorrow for the FUD, right? we have seen much of these hypocrisy among the public figures and for this, i won't give a damn shit to this regardless of she be a journalist. Most of them aren't bullish on a long-term according to history and for this tweets to be announced publicly on a short-term we have to wait for long-term to applaud. Hope to see her on a bullish long-term with Bitcoin.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road wallet worth more $1B possibly has been hacked on: November 07, 2020, 10:31:44 AM
Does this mean that there are no longer any secure vaults for crypto?
There are still very much secure crypto vaults around the industry. I think what just happened is someone not comfortable with the legacy wallet for storage and tend to move into another, which is always a recommended. The possibility of we see this a hacking scenario shows that reading is not our culture. This movement should be aim at having their funds secure into a better place without issue. Although, there have been rumors going around that the US government has made some plans to auction some of their Bitcoin in possession, but isn't clear if this is associated with the information.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain based mobile voting App on: November 06, 2020, 04:25:49 PM
Am afraid this will happen soon with some large countries, also, there should be more emphasis on the type of Blockchain they chose to build their Apps. Going for a centralized Blockchain is as staging with the traditional system but if any country adopt the use of a decentralized Blockchain then the system will be fair enough for such purpose. This won't be feasible in my country becasue, the means of rigging elections won't be available for anyone to manipulate.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 06, 2020, 04:08:29 PM
Get ready fellas, it looks like 2021 will be the year we've been waiting for since 2017, PayPal CEO, Dan Schulman, disclosed its clients are signing up to be the first to use the company’s crypto services at an alarming rate. PayPal has started to permit 10% of its customer base to buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. What do you think will start happening from here on ? Huge adoption
What else do we expect mate, PayPal has been into the payment system for decades and with such reputation from investors their moved into buy and sell cryptocurrencies is a good one for us. We should expect more move from good companies who have been into payment system like PayPal inc. The news from the CEO Mr Dan is an introduction to a new bullish year and ahead bullishness after the year end. 2020 will end on a good note and 2021 will be a good year from the beginning and hope to see 2021 end in good mood.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Massive Adoption on: November 06, 2020, 03:58:04 PM
There will be more massive adoptions once PayPal takes the lead first, I'm more bullish on PayPal involvement in crypto than any other news right now, with this the sky is the limit for crypto, in few more years the dream of using crypto for means of payment is come true.
You might be right, if there won't be another new policy about these industries with cryptocurrency acceptance. Remember that, the world of cryptocurrency still evolving and need more regulations from the government. For PayPal adopting the payment of cryptocurrency on their platform is a welcome development which might made the global adoption possible soon. Well, PayPal company just allow it users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies but their TOS somehow is a concern to me indeed.

we should look forward for more adoption coming 2021 becasue of this news from PayPal company, which is a giant in payment system with huge investors worldwide. Also, hope to see more coins be adding to their coins chosen for a beginning.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: November 05, 2020, 01:07:47 PM
Yes, I always check the Terms of service of every gambling platform I'm playing with. I don't want to go under an agreement without knowing the terms. Before I didn't bother checking it and ended up the casino i'm playing before asking me to pass KYC in order to withdrew my winnings
But some TOS are usually bogus in types and i hate reading them comprehensively. The mistakes thousands made are still making is not reading the gambling platforms TOS before make deposit. Sometimes it saves self from hassles free if TOS is be read before engagement. Although, IMO, any gambling platform with good reviews and longtime reputation; am ready to go without TOS. For KYC, most reputable gambling platforms always place alert on huge deposit or winning just to keep their reputation.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 05, 2020, 12:37:32 PM
The only advice I can give is once you won don't try to enjoy those winning and don't be greedy since once you win I am sure that you still wanted win more isn't well in fact that is not good and might ended up losing and once you lose you will be thinking of recovering those losses and might lose more.
Your advice is truly appreciated mate,  the winning will always come once in a while and we shouldn't take this forever becasue 'gambling is all about luck' of a thing. The problem with gamblers is, most of them don't know when to pullback during their loss and their mindsets been wired to chase over their losses get them into deep mess. Personally, greediness is my weakest point in betting and hope to manage this from now.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 05, 2020, 12:08:22 PM
Trump is very confident that he is going to win I just saw on my Facebook feeds that he sounds like he is winning when in fact the stats says otherwise he is being trailed by 13 to 14 states this is not a small gap and if this continues with 97 States to go we will see a new US President on Biden, I hope Trump can take the lost, he is over confident.
There's nothing wrong for anyone to be over confidence in this case of US Presidential election but, for a gambler to stake $5M for a bet on Trump to win amazes me. Sometimes i wonder if these guys are real or just fake, becasue the effect of the pandemic is still be felt around the globe and someone just made a bet on what might not be successful. Come-on, let wake up and learn financial risk management.

434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it wise to deposit $ 100 in bitcoin before the united states vote? on: November 03, 2020, 04:15:27 PM
<snip> Election in US I think it will increase the prices.
The cryptocurrency market doesn't respect such; but things of such can negatively or positively affect the entire cryptocurrency market price. For anyone to say the price of Bitcoin will rise please don't believe such becasue the market is volatile and can't be determine by anyone except the market forces which are majorly news. Let hope the outcome from the US election come alongside with the needed positive news for a price spike. For now buy what you can hold for long-term purpose.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: November 03, 2020, 04:02:55 PM
I might shift to another coin because the fee will be very much higher than it used to, maybe I will shift to Tron or Eos or Doge right now the fee is ranging from $1 to $5 per $50 worth of deposit it could become $20 or even more if Bitcoin reach that level, the scenario could become very different now because satoshi will be worth a lot by then per byte of satoshis will be worth a lot.
Yes; that's your right and you have it but, at such high price in Bitcoin 1Bitcoin still will be 1Bitcoin. This question has generated mixed reactions among potential gamblers, all i could see if the price of Bitcoin clock $150k will be gamble oh child becasue it doesn't hurt while making time with hubbies. Personally i gamble solely for entertainment i nothing can stop this even when price hit higher.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 03, 2020, 03:34:52 PM
it really depends on your luck i've been doing this since before there are times that i lost more in the process of recovering my losses but there are times that i am making more profit so i guess it still depends on luck but in my experience i mostly lose more rather than recovering my fund.
That's why i really hate to pursue my lose becasue in the process of recovering i always get hurt the more. Though this depends on the luck as you have rightly said. IMO, pursuing loses sometimes come with greater loss as many have acknowledged but personally i don't go after my lose as my lose doesn't come all the time.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 01, 2020, 02:35:02 PM
Let be frank with ourselves for once, American election should have major impact on Bitcoin price, reason be that, the stock market crashed during the pandemic took Bitcoin unaware, what i mean is: if the American election will have either positive or negative impact on stock market(which will definitely have) then why not Bitcoin?. In history, American election usually have impact on metals, stocks and those will in-turn have impact on Bitcoin. We should stop and have a brake in making Bitcoin a SuperMan.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin changed after 10 years? Does it still have same benefits? on: November 01, 2020, 02:16:19 PM
Bitcoin has been living with the issue of scalability which might live with it forever. Remember, Bitcoin has never promised it inhabitant of free transaction, so, the price of Bitcoin back in 2014 compare to 2020 should create the awareness of seeing different transaction among the mentioned years. As the value of Bitcoin keep increasing, then we should be expecting a higher transaction fee in the future and not less fee base on what we have today. The Lightning Network has made this problem solvable as it transactions are small compare to our normal pay fees while use Bitcoin in other platforms.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Keep3r token going to be the next YFI? on: November 01, 2020, 01:39:07 PM
will probably be the next hype like yfi. cycle and exactly the same way. I even see people who are always promoting it on social media. maybe this is a new hype after yfi who knows, that's just a temporary guess. Grin
Without iota of doubt this project which is been develop by the same individual will definitely take the same route with the previous without a guess. this should create more awareness among investors who want to make investment with the project, YFI was the talked of the town some few month ago and many lost to this over-hyped project and suddenly another project with almost same pattern to defraud gullible investors again. Though, let watch and see what become the end of this project but one thing is sure, it will end in pain for 'get quick rich individuals in the ecosystem'.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: November 01, 2020, 01:21:27 PM
I always looks whats the altcoin build for, after that the team behind that. i means that's very commons, but i believe with those 2 factors, we can more safer and get better result when investing on altcoins
Knowing the usability of the project token in the real world will actually help in finding answers to unclear questions. Millions of cryptocurrency projects don't care or care-less about their profiling solution to real world problems, why will you expect me to make my investment with a project without case use in a world i live?, doing this will make me ridiculous. Before make any investment with projects of any kind, ensure to dig into their solutions offerings to humanity and if it's short of your expectation, then, don't invest. Scammers has infiltrated the system and those yelling to make investment with new projects should be careful in going about this.
