Well, on  'trex....there's just over 4 BTC on the on the bid side at 4 sats and 12+ BTC on the sell side at 5 sats.
Good start would be to move most of the sells to 6 and people to quit selling into the pitiful 4 sat offers.
I mean ....hell....we're just making our own problem here.

Mining rewards have come waaaay down. I'm amazed at some of the truly sh&$ coins that are 10 times even 100 times verge valuation.

When a coin does a fork....yobit puts wallet in maintenance until they get around to it.....sometimes weeks or even months.
especially a low volume coin they don't make money on.
And at the rate alt coins are forking.....I bet they have alot in maintenance.
Not defending them, but alt coins coming, forking and going can be pretty overwhelming for pools and exchanges.
Personally, given a choice, I try to stay the hell away from yobit.....I've been yobitten a few times.

Me for one......I was like you back at the first of 2015. I had 4 - zeus blizzards.... and some success in mining. I saw SH and thought....why would I pay for that when I can use a number of "free" sites to keep up with and learn where to point my hash.
I moved on....and by spring I had bought a zeus thunder X6 (used). Looked at SH again and decided to try with my new found power (lol).

First I learned all the info on the free sites is pretty delayed or in some cases outright wrong, next I learned that the release of blocks on most coins is very random and sometimes hours go by with no blocks at all.....and miners are just hashing thin air.

All together block releases, network hashrate, difficulty and current coin price all have a bearing on guiding your choice. You know you can mine for now ( current values) or for the future....what you think a coin can or will become.



Smarterhash is NOT a pool....it's an information service that allows me to see, analyze and determine where I point my hash for the most benefit. It's up to me to decide.I can use his list of pools or there is info on many coins that a pool is not run on. Or, I can chose to mine the coin on any other pool. It's just more convienent usually to use of theirs.

But whatever, just don't put down what you don't know about.

@lux - first transaction for BtC was down here in North Florida. A guy transferred 10,000 BtC to a friend in england who called a PapaJohn's in Jacksonville and paid with his credit card  to deliver 2 pizzas. There were not even exchanges in the early days....price was something negoatiated between buyer and seller. In my BtC meetup group there's a fellow that bought a lot when value was less than a dollar.

Another guy back in that early 2010 time frame tried to auction off 10,000 for $50 and couldn't find a buyer.

The value chart is very interesting on the wiki.
btw 10,000 BtC today is 6,795,000......not to mention the fact that it has found valuation as high as $1000 per coin.

Who knows where any coin will go.  

Without miners you have no network hash....and slow confirms.

I can tell you don't understand much about mining. Which is OK..everyone has to learn.
In my experience its so called "investors" or "traders" that pump and dump coins.....not miners.
I've mined CMT for the last 3 hours with almost 200 MH of A2 scrypt miners (btw thats about $2000 worth of hardware not count electricity) ....and have a whopping 50 CMT and they're not even confirmed yet as blockchain is still pretty slow on confirms.
Went right in to the exchange Yobit and bought 500 CMT at various prices.
You tell me which is easier......especially if I wanted to ride a pump.

added - guys,  .... mining with a laptop or a desktop is a total waste of time. not near enough mining power

Go rent some scrypt hash at mining rig rentals or some other rental place.
They have full instructions for you.

If you are you know blocks are a total random thing per day and diff is a function of network hash.
What the dev did was stabilize the blockchain.

Well, it certainly messed up the pool I mine at......they shut the CSC pool down completely becasue your new wallet was interfering with others. You accomplished running miners off. Might think about how CSC confirms are going to happen without network hash.

I still think this is a bad move for CSC. Problem hasn't been selling pressure, but from way back.....obscure pools and no one buying CSC. And face it, it's a specialized coin that needs a purpose.

Anyway, good luck. I'll sit on my little stash (I wasn't a miner that sold) and hope you guys turn it around.

@ goldmoney10 - seems like every week theres a coin sucking up the BtC that's bailing from the coin of the week from week before.

I agree on the the features of the coin...just seems like privacy isn't that important to the average crypto buyer who , afterall.....pretty much drives all these markets.

Maybe some of the huge amount of btC coming out of rBR is looking for a home.

Mining, confirms all ground to a halt as the difficulty was driven up to stratoshpere.

It made XVG unusable and the reason its multi-algo today.
