This is just a scam, dont waste your time guys, what even IS this? and why does this need to exist?

423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CYBER:like google but cyber|Tendermint|Knowledge Consensus Supercomputer on: November 09, 2019, 04:58:49 PM
ooo this is pretty cool, <3 me some Tendermint, i think its one of the more interesting validation methods being developed right now
i need to get me some more info on this one, still in testnet i see? so not too late for us plebs to maybe become validators?
Very exciting to see this here finally, as i have heard about it here and there in the Cryptosphere over the last year or so Smiley

It's not too late to become a validator. But you need to wait a bit. A new test network will begin soon, and you can become a validator. The current testnet no longer rewards validators. After 7,000,000 blocks, a snapshot was made and the rewards that the validators will receive after Genesis are counted. Euler-4 (old testnet) validators rewards is 2.7 TCYB.
What is the difference between using cyber and google in the browser search bar? You said the idea is amazing but is there really advantage of using cyb? Have you tested its usability?
I think that at the moment it is difficult to compare Cyber and Google. Cyber is a Web3 type search engine and uses IPFS. Cyber is at an early stage of development. Developers and the community will have to create a good knowledge graph and a search engine for it.

it kinda sux that the rewards have been private members only till now, gonna be like VBK and when this goes mainnet there will be millions of coins from testnet carried over? : /
kinda feels like "ok we got our bags full, now time to go public" Sad   ill still probably participate as a validator, but i definitally suggest others beware speculating when this hits exchanges haha
i know i will be Tongue  learnt that lesson b4 on these type distros lol.  its not bad when its public, but ya when private groups stack in private THEN go public after thats kinda sketchy to me : /

424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [FYS] Fysical the next generation of big data - discussion inc. price on: November 09, 2019, 04:04:55 PM
LMAO, no one or rather the 11 guys who viewed this topic knows what Fysical is. Maybe this is the Achilles' heel of the project. It looked solid from reading the whitepaper and the relative dev activity. But I wish someone knows what's happening to it.

ya i looked at your topic and just keep moving, i have no idea what Fysical is Tongue
and since this is speculation and not discussion i figured i would just say nothing

The speculation is what it is tho, dead b4 even getting off the ground is what it LOOKS like : /
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: FIREDATE COIN on: November 09, 2019, 05:42:45 AM
You probably should have taken the literally zero interest in this on Halloween when you launched it as a hint : /
You can't just come here with no background information and ask for 80 Eth man haha
Mine the shit like the rest of us scammer
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Private P2P market integrates Btc payments in preperation for Atomic swaps. on: November 09, 2019, 02:31:22 AM
At this point ive pretty much considered particl a scam haha, way i see it no legit project needs to convince people to give them money so hard Tongue
You should really just make a thread for this token and post stuff there, gets so spammy making a new thread few times a day : /
blocktelegraph: where the scams that cant afford Cointelegraph go Cheesy

428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will POS lead to Ethereum's centralization (like EOS)? Why? Why not? on: November 08, 2019, 08:14:36 PM
it might, be it will be everyones CHOICE to allow it, right? Eth is on many open markets. If you buy it, noone but you can choose to sell it again
I know ive been stacking it for months now, and will continue too till PoS. The only way whales will get my ETH is for 2k per Wink hehe
The funny part is most people have their sellout price, so it prob WILL hit 2k, and then become centralized by whales Tongue
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑☑☑[ANN][BSD] BitSend - online since 2014 [ Core 0.17 soon] on: November 08, 2019, 07:51:37 PM
Why the fuck is the airdrop still happening? The end of the long lasting airdrop was planned in April...

Airdrop has ended in April, only Limix dev have sent a couple of coins to old participants.

This airdrop that was 10BTS per registered member in a week. Just after airdrop ended, Limix dev sent every week 9, 8, 7 coins and finally 1 in the end.

I see that indeed I got 20BTS week ago which was exactly 11/2/2019.

...Look at other projects, they are burning supply or make big announcements.

Right and we need further development to turn Bitsend back to life, but I am happy to see this airdrop coins because it shows that something is happening and the project is not abandoned already.

I think the most important thing is to get the Bitsend wallet on Livecoin back to work because this is the last exchange from bad once where I will trade anything.

meh, as far as im concerned, BSD could just wrap up, its not like it had big promises to BEGIN with Tongue
the coin was really only just one of a set of coins limx dev made and was really just an airdrop coin, it had no big promises
im sure the dev ran out of funding months ago if not longer, i just wish the "end" would be official, but cryptocurrencies dont "end", noone has figured out how to gracefully do that yet i guess Tongue
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token on: November 08, 2019, 06:13:54 PM
O.m.f.g haha, does that guy know NO bounds?!? i mean i guess we knew the answer to that but holy hell
He really likes to come out swinging when he does things eh? Cheesy
I mean what else does a person say?    safe to say i wont be buying any personally...   lol
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Altcoins that could Outperform Bitcoin in 2020 on: November 08, 2019, 05:59:30 PM
Okay so we're all familiarized with Nik Patel at this point, right? Guy has a top 5 of altcoins that he thinks can outperform btc next year. here's the list:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/patels-altcoin-prediction-top-5-that-may-outperform-bitcoin-in-2020/

He didn't include trx, bpx, ada, xlm... thoughts?  Shocked

i think thats just bait for a wannabee writter Cheesy  we shouldn't wish anything to outperform BTC , as that would be the start of the end of cryptocurrency
These guys just make predictions about anything and everything, like a broken clock they will be right, eventually Tongue
then they will try sell books after talking about how "they called the great pump of yada yada" and must be a guru..   they should stay on twitter Tongue
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 08, 2019, 05:13:55 PM
usually before the pump, the market always falls. and today I see the market experiencing a decline, especially for bitcoin and several other big altcoins. in recent days bitcoin may be able to hold above 9k, but in the end it still falls.

then I wonder if this is really the downfall before the pump?
considering that soon we will enter the end of Q4 2019, and in Q2 2020 bitcoin will be halving. so now is the last time the Whales buy cheap btc. that's why the market was deliberately manipulated to make the price of bitcoin go down. and after that they pump slowly to look like market growth.

so what do you think, is my thinking wrong?

oh man, the market is definitally manipulated, the bigger question is by whom? and how? would be curious to know the answers
The stuff that's illegal big time in traditional markets is either not illegal or not enforceable in crypto, so best believe it happens, too tempting not too imo
the potential is just too high for massive profits so i bet institutional whales do it all day
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gerfin Platform, a Very Promising and Fast Exchange for Traders on: November 08, 2019, 04:24:21 PM
i wouldn't trust a penny of my money there honestly lol
imo this is another one of those sketchy exchanges, this year has been really bad.  I would stay away from that place
No team, no official announcement, twitter is basically brand new, linkedin as well.  this place just magically appeared a month ago
ya no thanks Cheesy
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Few Bold bounty hunters still walks among us on: November 08, 2019, 04:04:05 PM
Some bounty hunters still hold on to their tokens even when every thing looks not so good for crypto, through successful bounty spreadsheets some bounty hunters still keep their tokens for example gowithmi, why? Do you think they are doing the wrong thing? Will they regret later?

oh man i would dump everything from those crappy bounties most of the time.  Its usually a race to who can dump first with those Tongue
The team or the bounty hunters haha.  If the project is super legit, then it is prob worth holding them tho, good tokens usually take 1-2 years to really have a decent moon
Bounties like Antshares i partook in (now NEO), was like 2500 coins, imagine holding those till ATH,  it hit like 200$ per coin haha Wink
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help to find social media based on blockchain or tokenized, let's create a list: on: November 08, 2019, 03:46:33 PM
this is an interesting list, i haent seen alot of these, im gonna check some out haha. maybe a small description of each would be helpful?

My only thing would be it kinda defeats the purpose of a forum, as 1/2 the point of being an independent responsible human is going out and finding things yourself
Having everything all in one place makes people lazy Tongue they will grow to not even look for themselves and just expect you to provide up to date lists
Also: 90% of the time people never upkeep these lists so after 1/2 a year in crypto, 1/2 the links are ded lol  : /

436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Australian Home Affair Minister Warns Terrorist Financiers Exploiting Crypto on: November 08, 2019, 02:52:35 PM
Australian Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton during a counter-terror conference in Melbourne that cryptocurrencies technology is being exploited by terrorists for funding their heinous intentions.

Source: TheCoinRepublic

lol what year is this?  it sounds like that article could have been written in 2012 Tongue
that was the last time i heard the "BTC is for terrorists" argument, which dosent even make sense.
You would think a criminal would want something universal and untraceable, like maybe CASH? Tongue i always laugh at the btc is for criminals argument
tbh most criminals would prob use XMR if anything ....
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Cryptocurrency - Mobile Minning on: November 08, 2019, 02:26:55 PM
Hello. Encryption practitioners have developed a new cryptocurrency that does not consume energy because it works on a server. It is of course at an early stage but it is very promising. And because it is in its early stages it gives a good degree of coinage to those who do "minning". It is also the only one running on mobile. It has not yet entered the exchanges but at some point it will. You only enter by invitation. You need a verification phone. In essence, this is done to attract more people. If someone comes in with my code, the coin rate will go up. The more I attract, the better for me. Enter the application and enter the invitation code - Nas1990 -. Try it, you never know what happens. It may get value it may not.
The application in the play store is called Pi network. Also because it is in the beginning it gives up quite fast and as many people come in it will decrease the mining just as it did with bitcoin.

It's not spam. No scam, Before downloading and verification look it up on google, youtube, etc.

dude, your like the 20th person to make a thread shilling their referral code for Pi, that coin is such a scam : /
they have been collecting phone data for months on people, prob selling it, and the project hasnet done shit Sad
it dosent even have a chain as yes, its just a database.  i uninstalled that shit a week ago, dosent seem like its going to do much
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or Revelations? on: November 08, 2019, 05:26:43 AM
Tht was an interesting read, its a shame it was a shilling in the end Cheesy who ever wrote that tho is a good writer haha
I get sketched out about projects that come up all a sudden and have heavy shilling, a good projects work should just speak for itself, you know?
Take Particl to some conventions, see what some builders think about it, talk to the big privacy guys, zcash/zcoin etc

440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is noone talking about V Systems? on: November 07, 2019, 11:30:33 PM
This must be the most high profile altcoin that noone talks about.

As a (wannabe) cloud storage provider, dapp platform, led by Sunny King, one would expect it to create more hype. But its reddit is dormant, it has relatively few followers on twitter, etc.

Anyone know why that is the case?

Well from what i have seen the old school group around here that knew that dudes name is long gone mostly.
that guy was like a shitcoin maker and famous P&D'er from like 2014? man thats even a little bit before my time on this forum
V systems got like no hype here when it was launched, and has been a ghosttown ever since.  IMo the coin was probably just sunny running out of money he made from b4 finally lol so back for more Tongue
