1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your definition of shitcoin? on: May 12, 2019, 08:54:45 PM
What actually defines a shit coin?  The continuous price decrease after listing on an exchange with actual working products in real life or a stable price and a minimal increase in price but lacking real life working products?

-- if it's a copy paste clone
-- made with walletbuilders (or any wallet building service)
-- if its ANN is just full of buzzwords, and dosent actually bring anything innovative

if it has ANY of the above and/or has a tax or premine with atleast one of the above ^^^  then its a shitcoin Tongue
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ProgPoW] Ethereum Basic - MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF SCALING 🚀🚀🚀 on: May 12, 2019, 08:02:36 PM

1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Foundation to Spend $30 Million on Development on: May 12, 2019, 07:32:03 PM

imo ETH was always due to be a boss one day
it's just taking more work then some thought it would
nice to see them giving it a BIG kick in funding there tho, damn
good times ahead for ETH development i hope!
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ontology Sharding on: May 12, 2019, 05:22:45 PM
you shoulda have added some links to the OP so people can check it out, as im not familar with this one
so many projects were working in the background last few months
will sharding be 2019's hype? (like stablecoins were b4 tether got fucked up again recently)

crazy crypto world haha, here we go again boys Cheesy
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AXS IEO - 🚀🚀🚀 on: May 12, 2019, 05:18:38 PM
No white paper, no team, no plan. You are only marketing vague dreams at this point. And what's the reasoning with the 5000 tokens? Sounds like you didn't plan to scale to me. Too bad, i kinda liked your logo.

This is ann.
Detailed "guide" about token will be provided on May 13-14 at EPICA DEX.

hmm, ya pretty vague, haven't you heard how important first impressions are Tongue
a shitcoiner such as myself sees so many coins everyday
if we don't remember your coin, what to make us come back to this thread?
meh, just another presale anyways i guess...  : /
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PTA] Petrachor | PoS Ariel Protocol | Smart Contract Platform | BLS | BLS12-381 on: May 12, 2019, 04:58:58 PM
shit this looked really cool reading the OP
then it just turned into months of pre selling it seems  : /
shoulda made this more open distro
but i'm not gonna tell you how to fund YOUR project i guess haha

Good Luck!
this sounds really interesting

1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uplexa IOT Internet of Things Mining on: May 12, 2019, 05:32:37 AM
never heard of it, but im checking it out now Cheesy

1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine in 2020? (building my first rig) on: May 12, 2019, 12:53:19 AM

The question is: What cards should I buy which operates relatively quiet, should I be concerned about memory types (Samsung, Hynix, etc) (somewhere was written that Hynix is doing good with 570/580's),
should I go with 4gb or 8gb cards and also, what coin should I be focused on after ethereum is not mineable anymore?

all these questions have been answered again and again on this board, just read the first few pages of threads Tongue
what cards? whatevers powerful if you have cheap power. if you dont have cheap power, then your prob screwed no matter WHAT u buy Tongue
mem types can matter yes, but good luck being picky, generally you get what u get (unless you buy bulk+new)
8gb cards have more options, they do better on algos like MTP
focus on what could be profitable in the FUTURE, many believe in 2k ETH again  once not mineable anymore so continue to mine even at break even
nooone knows the future

good luck! Smiley
1010  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - $6700 on: May 12, 2019, 12:13:36 AM

1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️[ANN] ⚡️⚡️ Alephium Official Regular Updates on: May 11, 2019, 03:55:33 PM
seems too early to really say much
big letters "open source" on the site, but the github is empty except for the whitepaper. the WP was put there on "mar 5th" it says, wonder what they have been doing last few months since? hmmm
could be one to watch, could be junk, time will tell!
thx for the heads up tho
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOWITHMI - Mapping The World on Blockchain(IEO at Gate.io - Backed by ONT) on: May 11, 2019, 03:17:52 AM
i admit i am not sure what this coin is for just reading the OP haha
ICO? PoW? no idea i THINK it has some kinda DPoS?
lots of technical mumbo jumbo
that im too lazy to read the whitepaper for right now Tongue

1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] [ECVA] Ectavia - secure blockchain [Fork ETH 1:1][POW/DH][NO ICO] on: May 10, 2019, 08:37:48 PM
no ICO no premine, thats dece atleast
algo is not for me tho so i won't prob mine this myself
too many high density ETH miners out for a while now
imo my gpus wont be able to compete

oh well, good luck on your coin! Smiley
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Binance increase again? on: May 10, 2019, 08:04:07 PM
i have to admit that after i heard SAFU had made the hack basically not a big deal for users funds
i was HOPING BNB would drop more
everybody and literally my grandmother was asking me if it was a good buy a few weeks ago(@ ATH LOL )
now with the hack, it's back @ a price one could almost buy some and possibly guarantee a profit
it WILL increase again imo
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BADcoin [BAD] A P2P Network Built on the Fairest Mineable Multichain on: May 10, 2019, 04:50:03 PM
not sure if you guys are just ignorant to mining
or trying to bullshit here haha
but theres definitally NO GPU MINING HERE
Groestl and skein , you state for gpu mining
but they have had ASIC's for like a year now
the Balkai g28 mines them, plus others im sure by now

so ASIC only, oh and yescrypt is on fpga likely

what a fail lol

1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: May 10, 2019, 03:43:21 PM
XMG is a classic, here's to hoping there can be some movement
should just relaunch this, do a swap or something
the chain is YUGE after all these years, and the PoW algo a tested total loss

imo the algo needs to be something long term and stable, as it is now people keep forking the chain by making a GPU miner every few months  ; /
due to this most major exchanges dropped magi as it was too much of a headache with the forks
just make it MTP or some super mem hard shit that is good for gpu or something Tongue
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN-OFFICIAL][PRIVATE-SALE] BITWINGS: OFFICIAL CRYPTOCURRENCY OF WINGS MOBILE on: May 10, 2019, 02:37:58 PM
why is this not tagged as obvious scam already?
a phone doing 1gh on ETH, people actually believe this?
can't believe these guys have the balls to goto conferences and try convince people such obvious lies :O
just goes to show most "bitcoiners" don't know much about shit in this scene lol
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRUIZE] Cruize Cryptocurrency [Full FIXED POS]CREX24 EXCHANGE] on: May 10, 2019, 12:24:52 AM
another day another scamcoin Cheesy
how could a big company integrate a coin that YOU start beforehand?
makes no sense at all

1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][V8-Coin][V8][X11][PoW][Masternodes][CryptoBridge Confirmed] on: May 09, 2019, 05:31:22 PM
a shame it's x11, i don't have any of them fancy new ASIC myself haha
Thats prob what the dev did, just made a coin since he had a new X11 ASIC
Cheesy
Good Luck on your coin Smiley
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XLMU] Useless Stellar Token - A 100% legit ICO on: May 08, 2019, 10:05:48 PM
Useless stellar? Where is this coming from? Are you going to attract investors with such a name?

if you think he's seriously trying to attract investors
maybe YOU should invest Cheesy
odds are more likely tho your just a shitposter, you prob didnt even READ the OP
