702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KuCoin's PoolX The Next Generation PoS Mining Pool on: October 21, 2019, 05:22:41 AM
Pool-X aims to stimulate the future development of the PoS ecosystem. Services offered by Pool-X include, but are not limited to liquidity trading market, node integration, and operational solutions

Through this platform, users will be able to stake their coins and be rewarded their stake coins and POL as a reward. that sounds great, isn't?  In addition to that, once the platform is live, you will be able to trade in your stake pool creating liquidity.

Read more about PoolX here: https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-introducing-pool-x-the-next-generation-pos-mining-pool/?utm_source=tftj

707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser to launch a fully decentralized vpn on: October 21, 2019, 12:12:50 AM
We all know that the blockchain itself guaranties anonymity on its own and now Brave browser want's to integrate it into a vpn service creating a fully decentralized virtual private network which means you don't have to be worried about your data being sold by the vpn providers.

However we all know that everything has a good and bad side and one of its disadvantages is that it gives people who perform illegal activities more freedom. What do you think about it? Do you think it's worth it or not?

Read full article here: https://decrypt.co/9937/brave-proposes-decentralized-crypto-enhanced-vpn

honestly i have trouble believing Brave when they say things
they did their whole ICO based on BS, promising USERS they could monetize their own data
made all that money and years later still a pipe dream, tho now you can pay websites? (so dumb)
ill believe this when i SEE it haha
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Investors always turn to reduce or deny bounty hunters their payments on: October 20, 2019, 11:17:32 PM
Some Project owners together with some Bounty managers promise Hunters certain percentage of total tokens to be created.
These promised tokens inturn manipulates hunters to engage in these bounties expecting to be paid.
One main phrase that gets to favor this bounty managers and project owners is "bounty manager and project owners have the rigjt to male changes to the bounty tool at any point in time"
Should the above statement be allowed to continue?

Sadly yes that's just how it is, they can make the rules and change them anytime Sad
I think it sux and i don't agree with it, but its how it is, can't change it.
All one can do is beware partaking in any bounty or investment of time or money that you dont trust the team behind.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would ICO scene succeed if it was organized like crowdfunding not investing? on: October 20, 2019, 10:10:02 PM
OP, your thinking is why they created DAOs pretty much
what if people could just directly contribute somehow financially to things they support?
Smart contracts can make this possible, but they need to be secure Wink

710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 20, 2019, 09:40:11 PM
What you think more profit, participate in IEO or wait after IEO and buy the token from exchanges?

id definitely say buy from exchange AFTER IEO
reason: these teams sell to angels behind closed doors for like 1/2 the price the IEO sells for
so when the token hits open market, it drops to angel profit level, which is usually well under public profit level Sad
good example is VBK
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Projects and Bounty . Way forward?? on: October 20, 2019, 07:25:24 PM
So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?

i think the only counter is knowledge
as once you become knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies and the current technologies and what can and can't be currently done
you never fall for scams, they all become super ovbious.
People just need to gain more knowledge in crypto, and NEVER invest in something you dont fully understand
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | SINOVATE(SIN) | X25X GPU Algo | INFINITY NODES | I.D.S | R.S.V | on: October 20, 2019, 06:53:41 PM
damn i missed this one when it launched is it still viable to mine? infinity nodes sound great

nice to see a known developer on the team (pallas)
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A million altcoins on: October 20, 2019, 05:46:55 PM
one should not be looking at alts as competitors to BTC
they are means of making BTC is all
thru speculation or by design (i.e PoS), Altcoins are made as a means to collect more BTC
of course all these alts are crap they not supposed to be better then Mother BTC Wink

BLOCKCHAIN is the tech here remember, BTC was just the first example of good use case
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The safest DEX exchange? on: October 20, 2019, 05:23:19 PM
Hello,

There is quite big number of DEX exchanges on the cryptocurrency market.
I would like to ask you guys which DEX exchange is the most safety in your opinion and why?

It would be nice if you also will say something about differences between DEX which you think is safest and for example Etherdelta.

Binance's man, if all others get hacked the Chinese ones will still stand
for some reason they dont seem to get hacked or shutdown, and if they do they have systems like SAFU in place
not sure if they just take security more serious or what
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! I want to invest but don't know which and how. is DigiByte ok? on: October 20, 2019, 05:11:43 PM
im 18 years old and have $100 (Canadian) that I would like to invest. im not looking for a quick buck or anything, doing this just to see how it is investing in cryptocurrency. upon research, I came upon DigiByte and was wondering if this is a good investment for the long run? ive been following for the past 2 days and it has gone up in value and then down again. if this is not a good investment I would love to hear of others. thank you  Tongue

lol this reads like someone without the mental maturity to BE investing in this space man Tongue

The best advice: don't let others tell you how to spend your money
learn to make educated decisions by researching each project you find interest in
and the choices will make themselves on whats good or not to buy into Wink

716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: October 20, 2019, 04:51:38 PM
@paramind22 i havent seen that staking rewards site before thanks for the link

i think im gonna look at LOKI, or Horizen seems like two solid long term coins with decent current ROI
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius Network exit scam? on: October 20, 2019, 04:15:30 PM
ill believe it when i see it, Celsius network has been fairly reliable in my experience
i wont worry till i see some more official news
probably someone just trying to stir up some unrest, maybe mad at Celsius for something Tongue

718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Again telegram offers to postpone with legal issue on: October 20, 2019, 03:50:01 PM
Surprised by the last-minute restriction on the sale of gram tokens in the US, telegram is set to delay launching a Tron of the network until next year. The company told the New York Court that all operations could be ended with a gram until legal issues surrounding the coin offering were resolved.

ya i think they realized they missed the boat
i wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing dosen't even happen now
same with Libra
good for them tho, telegram is a quite simple program/service
them trying to sell shares for it for billions of dollars was insane, i think they realized it was gonna flop in market at that evaluation
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind... on: October 20, 2019, 03:27:33 PM
Stablecoins are for large traders, its a way to lock in your profits trading cryptos until you are ready to trade more or cash out
of course most of us wont have much use for them, 1/2 the people here dont even know how they work Tongue
the problem with USDT was it was them being their own fed, so of course they printed as they wanted, it was just too tempting for them Sad
If USDT goes erc20 that will be massive, could collapse some major alts imo

720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone bought up Approximately $235000 USD worth of SNX this week on: October 20, 2019, 05:31:12 AM
Did you know that someone bought up approximately  $235000 USD worth of SNX tokens this week, so it greatly helps to get big profits for SNX tokens holders and it is the best time to buy SNX now or wait some time to buy SNX tokens?

i guess its a good time for SNX holders i wonder what happened haha
i havent heard of that token myself, guess i missed that one, oh well cant catch them all
im gonna see if it looks like it will keep going or pump again, seems like speculation is all these damn tokens are good for nowadays Tongue
