481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best telegram channels for bounties ? on: November 05, 2019, 05:37:35 PM
I recently joined a great telegram channel for the announcement of bounties.  What do you think are the best ones to join?

Thanks, -CR

My advice would be just use this forum man, theres a specific board for bounties Here
Those telegram channels are garbage, so many scams, and low level people. funny how they changed their UI to try look like discord tho lol
Use this forum, you can read history here and that way learn how not to partake in shitty bounties at all
Good Luck! Smiley

482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning to invest in Tron Coin on: November 05, 2019, 05:14:23 PM
I would be weary man, word is 2020 could be a dumpfest for TRX : /
Apparently the CEO has like 20 billion getting unlocked and he likes nice suits so expect those coins to see market (imo)
That being said, Tron is like a poor mans ETH, i still think it will pump again, so maybe if your planning on a nice long 5 years hodl its a good time to buy right now Tongue
Seems stuck at 0.02$ : / maybe thats a good thing? hmmm
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there daily-life applications for Sexcoin? on: November 05, 2019, 04:41:13 PM
Recently, I have heard that Sexcoin is used as a cryptocurrency for the adult industry. I’m rather curious whether Sexcoin can be used for other applications aside from “adult business” for daily life usage and what trading platforms trade Sexcoin.

Moreover, if possible can you mention any useful information about Sexcoin that I can use when trading it or buy it. Thanks.

Duuude, check out DPorn haha Tongue  they are actually doing stuff in the adult industry, So many projects have come and gone over the years, and 99% of them have fallen flat.
Sexcoin was good for a while, but has fallen flat a long time ago AFAIK. buy some, hodl it for a few years, see what happens if u must Tongue but other then that sexcoin is ded since the 51% attack imo : /
DPorn has also made a token but its actually being used on their platform right NOW for adult services

484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: November 05, 2019, 04:23:00 PM
Following its listing on BitMax, DOGE has reached the 30sats mark. Do you think it's the beginning of a bull run or it will go down now?

45 days into this thread, DOGE hasen't moved, its almost kinda eerie tho, hasent moved more than 5+/- sats in 60 days, don't see that often with Doge
Im thinking personally maybe its gonna finally do its thing, go for its yearly 50-80 pump, was it waiting for xmas? Cheesy
I dont trade DOGE as its volume is just too big dik for me, but i always figured institutions would love to trade in Doge, its great to speculate on
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Lydian Lion - Everyday activities rewarded on: November 05, 2019, 03:40:36 PM
Theres alot going on here man, maybe you should have someone who speaks English as a first language do your ANN tho, hard to understand this : /
So your gonna make an app that is like the 10 others that do nothing but data mine us, ugh, this idea is so washed up months ago Sad
Coins like Pi and Electroneum have done this kind of distro, except your also selling this to people, wow : /
Ya no thanks
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or 3rd generation blockchain on: November 05, 2019, 03:11:22 PM
Hi everyone,
distributed ledger technology is the future, I think most people agree on this, but why bitcoin?

Bitcoin is the oldest system, it is not scalable, it needs second layer scaling solution, it is energy consuming, there is few big mining pools and is not very decentralized. There are other problems too.

Woudn't a 3rd generation blockchain that is more decentralized in practice, less energy consuming, cheaper, and offer smart contracts and many more possibilities surpass bitcoin at some point?
Is the first move advantage so big, is there something else I am missing?

Its the BRAND man, BTC was the first coin, and has the name behind it. Alot of people invest in BTC not even knowing what it is, they just saw on TV there was money to be made lol
Eth will be really big, but even BTC could do smart contracts itself,it would just take alot time to implement.
Unlike other coins BTC dosent move forward until its testing is pretty much perfect, so upgrades take alot of peer review and testing
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto - what's with the fees? on: November 05, 2019, 02:44:48 PM
Trying to understand how the fee system works and why exchanging from fiat is much more expensive than exchanging crypto.

Ok, cryptocurrency exchange fees are usually very low because it costs little to nothing in fees to exchange them, unlike fiat itself. Banks charge a commission for everything, and there are many regulations and financial bodues to contend with who would ultimately want their own piece of the cake.

That might explain why there's a 0.25% fee when you exchange crypto on changelly, for example, and 7% fees when you want to exchange from fiat.
But at the same time, there are services with a much lower fee. BUT lower payment doesn't guarantee good quality service. And this is where I want to hear your opinion

Question #1 - how often do you buy crypto with fiat?
Question #2 - how do you choose the platform? Are there any other criterions than the amount of fee? Security, speed of transaction, simplicity, friendly service?

its because FIAT is not for this scene, most people hate it in crypto. Its super complicated to register as a money transmitter and the gov takes taxes
So they have to change that high, its sux, but its the same everywhere for fiat Sad
Just dont use FIAT in this scene man, buy/sell with coinbase, fees are like nonexistant that way
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: November 05, 2019, 03:32:57 AM
hello everyone

I have came to think of something reasonable about some projects, today everyone just wakeup to create his project and introduced it to btt just for people to suffer and promote probably at last the project will not succeed and they will foldup why? everywhere and there having much projects trooping in the forum today but few succeeds.
today, tomorrow, next tomorrow came up with all such of tokens, or could it be they want to build their social media groups and pages then they will come create fuck token and disbursed to the people whose manage to follow them on their media page and at last such token has no value in the market. they will even stole some other project websites just to boost their pages. this is improper... We hear scam and thief everywhere due to not have a proper documentations about the ventures.
I think earlier 2010 to 2015 there were no scam project even if there's, is just 1% but now is +-50%

to me this are the interest of those fake project.
1. they want to boost their  facebook page
2. they want to boost their twitter page
3. LinkedIn page
4. YouTube, ETC

my Questions

Is there no other ways BTT can track and trace such people posting such project in the forum?
Is there no way we can run free and fair project in the system without us being scammed or tricked?

Let me rest my case here and I would like the elders of this forum to look into this
Please feel free to drop your comment

i get what your saying, but its kinda part of the freedom of this forum, scams are not moderated here.
Its up to each person to do their own research to make sure they know what and with whom they are investing their money with
Never invest what you can't afford to lose is the golden rule here. After a person has some experience just reading this forum, you can spot a scam a mile away no problem Smiley
thats the only way to really protect yourself and separate the scams from the gems here
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Deepfake redefines Digital Identity on: November 05, 2019, 02:28:53 AM
Oh man thats too "deep" for me haha, the future scares the hell out of me sometimes
Dont believe anything you can't touch, feel, or interact with live with in real life! Voice, text, video, nothing is safe anymore it seems  Shocked
Crazy world we live in, maybe you guys at Selfkey can develop some biometric shit stored on chain or something
Thx for another good read! Smiley
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: November 05, 2019, 02:04:36 AM
Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily, with some of the top-20 coins showing losses of more than 34% on the day.
The most popular altcoin Ether (ETH) has dropped over $50 in the last 24 hours to a price point of $156 per coin, recording a heavy loss of 24% on the day.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tuesday-shows-bloodbath-for-altcoins-up-to-34-losses-on-top-20-coins

do you think this down market will continues and welcome back to the bears in crypto market again ?
or this is only the preparations if the market will growing really hard and the bulls will show up in the near time ?

Its funny how quick things can change, from "bleeding alts" to nice rises. Two months can make a big difference haha
I feel like the ecosystem has grown so much at this point, places like Cointelegraph can report anything day by day, and then the next day its flipped flopped
BTC should teach us something: go long on coins. dont worry about the day by day, pick some good coins and go long, staring at charts all day sux : /
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 05, 2019, 01:38:59 AM
I noticed that there are quite a number of crypto-powered social media popping out in recent years. I believe the most successful one is Steemit, which most of us can agreed on. There are also other social network platforms like Appics, Uhive and etc. I am curious to know if anyone of you is willing to switch from the daily social network app like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to crypto-powered social network. And if you could, do share your reasons for doing so.

Im not willing to switch, but that's only cause i don't use social media at all anymore
I think Steemit should continue to do well, theres a few projects trying to copycat it, but it seems to be keeping ahead, it has alot of development time into it
It will be interesting to see what thing the next generation in 5 years will get into, as facebook is losing popularity day by day, will future social media platforms always be decentralized in the future?
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2019, 01:11:14 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

Imo, people are just investing in BTC, i know i am, 1/2ing is coming, could mean nice rise
Too many garbage ICO/IEOs in 2019, even legit projects like VBK did terrible in market even tho they have good teams, seems everyone has lost faith as a result : /
We are reminded to trust in BTC only i think hehe
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DEVELOPER COIN] [Cryptonight-dev] on: November 04, 2019, 11:37:46 PM
i dont get it, so your basically offering cryptonote clone coin creation services? like forknote.net?
But your will charge in the currency you create for it? i guess its an idea, what if theres a vuln found in your code tho?
ALL projects that use it will have the same exploit haha oops!
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 04, 2019, 10:32:25 PM
I predict the price of Ethereum until the end of November is only up to $250 at its highest point. even then, if two resistance of $209 and $225 can be achieved.

following as my prediction. what about your prediction?

250$ by end of December is possible, i feel like resistance will fall into the new year with Eth
it has some big news with "2.0" supposed to be coming into effect in the new year, and i expect some serious FOMO to ensue
Miners as always decide the price when it comes to Eth, and they will be desperate to make bank once PoW fades
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this news can affect to BNT price? on: November 04, 2019, 08:40:08 PM
About bancor:
Bancor (BNT) offers a marketplace that facilitates the exchange of cryptoassets that may otherwise lack consistent liquidity on exchanges.

in december 2019, bancor will be airdrop to all BNT holder, total value is equivalent to 10% BNT’s market cap at the time of the snapshot. (If the airdrop occurred today, it would amount to $2.0 million, based on today’s $20 million BNT market cap.)

source: https://blog.bancor.network/the-bancor-airdrop-is-coming-42d78709427f

So, is this news can affect to BNT price? beside the news above, currently the BNT price is -93% from ATH.

what do you think?

i think ATH is kinda a bad number to take solely into account sometimes. We had that out of control market pump at the end of 2018
messed up the ath numbers, inflated them really bad. It makes projects seem like they have dropped alot, but these prices are maybe closer to actual worth now
some would say most of these coins are STILL overvalued haha

The pictures look nice I will watch this and see if it gets more substance at a later time.

lol i think its safe to say this one is dead till proved otherwise : /
nothing but newbies bumping the thread randomly, and since april they have not a single playable thing to actually show to people, tho there is one vid on youtube that might be something, but falls hollow being all they have..maybe just another presale hopeful, tho i doubt this raised much, people are pretty swift about these low level projects and want more substance upfront usually nowadays
give it a year ye, maybe they will have something tangible they can sell people
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Vega cards (56 and 64) crash in value when Monero goes RandomX?? on: November 04, 2019, 06:52:03 PM
What do you guys think?

I heard a lot of miners bought these cards to mine Monero and the hashrates will be cut a lot (to be more cpu friendly) when it changes to RandomX.

Will the Vega cards be dumped at cheap cheap, or will the Monero miners simply change to a different coin?

Ooo good question, i haven't thought about it yet, as i don't own a bunch of Vegas personally, it could tho, the market for those cards is almost solely dependent on XMR mining : /
I feel for those boys, but i think they should be ROI by now, so just look forward to RandomX, its bringing back CPU mining man! Smiley
Theres other algos these coins are dece on i think anyways? lyrarev3,MTP maybe?
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: November 04, 2019, 06:31:24 PM
Any pool is fine really, looks like theres a list linked there ^^^
I see.
What pools do you recommend?
I have been using MinerClaim, and it seems to be identical to the one you linked. Are there any differences?
Which one should I use?
I don't have a powerful setup (a couple of Raspberry Pis and an old laptop).
Should I look for pools with a lot of people and very good PC's, or something else?
Sorry, I'm new to this.

your setup sounds fine man, magi is perfect for small cpus like Pis, and when it comes to pools as long as the pool seems to be on the correct chain and actively hitting a block here and there (every few hours at the most)
then its all good, any pool is fine, i use that mhash one i linked but only cause XMG dosent seem to be on suprnova's pools anymore (/cry lol)
i also solo sometimes, its super easy thru the wallet, but the external miners are much more effective if you can hunt them down and set them up Wink

499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ANALYST: ALTCOIN SEASON has almost arrived on: November 04, 2019, 06:00:22 PM
Again? Market's in upward trend this year but who to believe and what would you consider as a proved indicator?

https://beincrypto.com/altseason-has-almost-arrived-for-altcoins-according-to-analyst/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=cryptocurrency&utm_content=ff

i don't think there's any SPECIFIC indicator of altseason, but rather a set of them, signs its growing
Accumulation of small cap coins, big buy walls on liquidity movement coins like LTC, DOGE,REDD, dominance of BTC (fairly high right now)
And after that you just "feel it" in the market, and then BOOM it happens b4 you know it Tongue
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to expect now? on: November 04, 2019, 05:14:52 PM
Should we expect a big dump this week ?

why?  you didn't add much context there buddy...lol
Some would say were just entering a nice altseason, LTC is up 6% today, always a good sign imo
Historically we sometimes enter bullruns around xmas time, slowing into the new year, but of course we will see! Wink
