Well i was gonna try it, until you made that ovbious shill account above ^^^  haha
Now im not even gonna sandbox this sketchy shit Tongue

1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: May 22, 2018, 05:41:18 PM
I have seen some people running 2 sessions of this on the same machine essentially doubling the hash rate.
does anyone know how to do that?

you need to fuck with the script a bit, ive pm'd you some instructions Smiley

good luck!

(as buddy said above tho, its not very optimized, not really profitable right now Sad )

1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: tdxminer lyra2z/XZC Miner for AMD GPUs on Linux on: May 22, 2018, 05:23:21 PM
I want to try to run Ubuntu within Windows (via Oracle VM).
Does anyone know how I can set the PCIe passthrough for the GPUs in Windows?

for amd its a headache : /
you will need to make sure you have a cpu that supports "Intel VT for Directed I/O (VT-d)"   and is enabled
and thats just step one haha  (you need to also blacklist/disable the factory neauvou driver which is GREAT fun Tongue )
google is your friend, but honestly, its less headache to just dualboot ubuntu Tongue

1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Don't be a fool - Stop mining on ETHPOOL right now on: May 22, 2018, 05:18:51 PM
Is there any new about how they are paying uncles? Anyone got an answer?
I've been a miner there for a long time and I feel cheated.
Thank you for the information.

me too man, mined there for several months now, and im a small miner, so it takes a while to get a payout, i was really hoping id score an uncle in the months :/  they should have a round robin with minunum "T" balance, everyone who mines there EVENTUALLY gets one that way, then gets put at the back of the line again for the next uncle

they replied 20 hours ago with
"Thank you for reaching out to us, I'm escalating this to my admin team to be investigated for any problems. We will update you shortly. "

 Undecided
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: May 19, 2018, 02:10:33 PM
something changed in hive Sad
it was working in previous versions, now it wont
prob that ninja "0.52" update Sad

im too lazy to downgrade to see if "0.5" or earlier still works but it might be worth a try

i switched to vm Tongue  cant make it utilize more than 40% of my 1080ti's tho Sad

you can use antpool, just use your desktop wallet address, seems to work for me (i couldnt recieve the SMS to register @uupool)

1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Don't be a fool - Stop mining on ETHPOOL right now on: May 19, 2018, 03:20:13 AM
its funny you mention that, as i noticed it myself over the last few days Sad

i sent them an email a few hours ago, asking them to consider this an exploit and maybe to implement a minimum 'T" balance
these "miners" never expect to get paid, they are only getting massive uncles
some get one every 10 days with 5mh/s :O

either they are rewarding themselves or really dont care about fairness, i wonder what their reply to me will be : /
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Liquid cooled GPU Miner 200 mh/s Ethereum 8 * ASUS MINING-P106-6G on: May 18, 2018, 10:50:12 AM
heres another one Sad

and by that i mean ANOTHER company trying to make in home "fashionable" miners : /

you all fail, as you have no idea how this industry works it seems : /
There was first Bitcrane, then spoondolies, now you guys.    efficiency and space saving, are more important than quality and style, will you guys not learn? Sad

there IS ZERO POINT in making small hash "fashionable" miners, noone will buy, as noones gonna pay 200% markup for "style" in this industry
the cards are low end, do same hash as a few 1080ti's

8000% CDN! :O    you will be lucky to sell even 10 of these sadly Sad

shoulda done some research , talked to some miners

oh well, nice looking unit
1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo mining like a boss! on: May 17, 2018, 09:44:49 PM
"CPU mining only"  Cool

8700k =  550 h/s
nethash = 1.5 mh/s

bootnetted/ gpu mined since long ago im afraid  :/
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SO MSI Just Sent Me This...... MSI Getting into Rig Building on: May 17, 2018, 03:59:43 PM
Damn, thats cool
i mean maybe a bit late but they had me in for one at:   "Maximum your megahash rates!" haha Cheesy
oh god tho, the cards look like MSI armor style, those series were shit : /
P104/470's too, old cards : /
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: May 17, 2018, 12:29:35 PM
How do I manually add a miner and what do I need to do to be able to chose that miner from the drop down list under wallets I would like to add sp-hash fork of suprminer https://github.com/sp-hash/suprminer/releases would it be easier to replace suprminer with this fork

since it's linux, you can build any miner then make the start-up commands yourself to run it Smiley (search hiveos forums, i saw someone had posted how to make the startup mining script)

as for the drop down menu, well, thats a website, how are YOU gonna add a miner to that list? Tongue

you can request miners be added there to them tho (i would like tdx's AMD lyra2z miner added myself to that drop down list Smiley)

@HIveOS please add: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3299496.0 to the wallet/miner dashboard  -- GREAT Linux only AMD miner (and runs OOB on hive i have found)
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: tdxminer lyra2z/XZC Miner for AMD GPUs on Linux on: May 16, 2018, 11:29:14 AM
Great work you got there, 3% is a low dev fee when RXs mine together with 1080TIs, the kernel can fit an rx460/560? or is there too much work to do? Wanna mine lyra on the little guys too!

What is the power usage like for RX 570/580? Anyone with some info on this? Smiley

from 120w to 140w per GPU, depending on how much you can overclock and undervolt!

Thanks for the information about the power draw for the Rx 570/580s. It appears that lyra2z doesn't offer the significant power savings when compared to mining that algorithm on Nvidia. :/ It's still good to have more options in any case.

Hi, I'm having 5x RX570, it uses 620W from wall and gives 14.5 MH/s. they work on 1500 or 1750 MHz.
Out of interest, what Linux distro do you use?

im getting about 3 mh/s per card at about 100-110 watts per.
580 8gb, reference blowers
Using HiveOS
install was easy
1:use built in midori to dl the miner
2:use built in Roxterminal to "tar -xf" the downloaded miner
3: cd into the the unzipped folder, run miner
"./tdxminer -a lyra2z -o POOL:PORT -u USER -p PASS"

works 100% out of the box on Hive, SO nice Smiley  no installs needed

Ok I'm going to have to give it another go.
The first time around I got stopped by the fact I couldn't run the rig out of IGFX (and all the pain that ensues with bios-flashed cards - no more access to bios etc). But this sounds too good to pass on.

ohhh, ya my hive runs on a green card for the graphics, but my RX cards, i flashed them in windows first, but ya so i havent had that trouble Sad
hope you get it figured out, this miner is sik for AMD cards, and it gives us a dece advantage over those who refuse linux Os's Tongue

Hey buddy, Megaminer is using x16s on zergpool to try bench RVN, might wanna fix that Tongue
as you can imagine it wont complete bench even as it results in 100% rejected shares : /

Love the program Smiley

1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: May 15, 2018, 04:29:58 PM
hi everyone,

Hive lover here, wondering if anyone knew of a way to make the OS reboot if it doesnt manage to connect to the network?

yes, you can walk up to the machine and turn it off, then back on again Tongue
haha jk, but really, prob not, as theres no connection to give it commands in your situation, as you said
maybe if you had one of those fancy smart plugins, they have phone apps you can toggle the power on the plugs to with i believe Smiley

1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cgminer solo mining on: May 14, 2018, 06:56:47 AM
Look like wallet issue, have you run it as a server (B coin)? Or may those port already used, check it. Have you tried with BFGminer? I have the same issue before (a long time ago  Grin), the same error message as yours with cgmine but run smoothly with BFGmine.
thk you
I tested it.
The same question.

have you tried coin B with some of the cgminer --help options like "--no-getwork, --no-stratum, --no-longpoll" ?   try with those flags, some old scrypt coins and coins in general have this needed, but i think it was phased out in most new miners with stratum
ive had this problem before, i cant remember if those flags or the "--coinbase-address=" fixed it tho Tongue try tht one too
Good luck!
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS for Mining] BergmannOS - new Linux-based OS for mining on: May 11, 2018, 09:20:07 AM
registered an account, tried to add first address, errored out Sad
"No enum constant com.bergmannos.kernelcenter.Currency.BTC"
 Huh
oh well

also: should consider a torrent for your dl, 3gb thru a browser sux  Undecided

i did a ryzen build a few months ago
i used: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157759
i like it so far, 6 slots, not bad price Smiley

1298  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: May 07, 2018, 12:39:58 AM
I'm trying to withdraw my balance to Coinbase.  I have not done this for a few months but it used to work fine.  Now it is asking me for TWO confirmation codes but I only get code 2 in my email?  What is going on?  Where do I get code 1 from?

it's in the FAQ. it says:
"if your coinbase email is different then your nicehash email, you will receive TWO codes. one code will come to the registered coinbase email, the other code to the registered nicehash email thats making the w/d"

1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Forager 1.0 - Multi-Pool profit switching multi-miner (AMD/NVIDIA/CPU) on: May 05, 2018, 01:01:40 AM
Tried out your miner, i like these multiminer things
few issues:
1: http://www.gandalph3000.com/ gets webaccess blocked on my ESET, i dont really wanna whitelist a random site for downloads...
2: yuzi-co github mkxminer 310.zip download fails after taking forever to do so (few minutes, time is money Sad ) . deleting the json file for it bypassed this error for me as a workaround for now. all other downloads seem fine. failing to delete the json file resulted in endless download loop tho Sad
3: i cant make CPU mining work, even tho i ENABLED it in my config.ini Sad    8700k. tried with option "99" to see if any pools would use it, but nope Sad

anyways, nice tool, hope its OOB usable for me one day Smiley

1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Am I in over my head? on: May 02, 2018, 05:31:42 PM
This guy is for sure trolling.  No one sells a business (at least not a profitable one) and buys 70 graphics card to only realize they don't know what they are doing.

not to mention buying ALL 2+year old cards, when were like 3 months from new series :O   1070/1060?  what a waste to buy TODAY Sad
did he just screw himself? if he's not trolling the easy answer is yes, yes he did : /
Ouch Sad
