1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: February 02, 2018, 06:03:25 AM
Do I really need to set the display to "never" turn off in the Power options/Plan settings? Wouldn't it be more reasonable to just set it to auto Turn Off in, say, 5 minutes, especially if there is no display connected to the rig? So that the card doesn't spend resources on trying to send the signal to the dvi or hdmi connection...

Best way to know is to try it.  In my case the hash rate drops when the monitors turn off, so they stay on.  20 watts or so for each monitor
Yeah, that's what I am doing right now. Preliminary, raw and approximate (probably wrong) conclusion is that disconnected monitor+monitor turned off by the power plan provides higher hash rates in the pool data. But for the miner readings - it's all the same. With physically connected or disconnected monitor.
Do you see the hash rates drop with monitor turned off in the miner or on the pool side?

My hash rate drop is on the miner side, and then of course, on the pool side.

its normal, its one of nvidias ways of low energy usage. they go into a "sleep" (low power mode), if no external display connected to them Sad
an old school solution was to force P0 mode, that prevents it
we use those dummy plugs also nowadays, they cost but a few bucks and totally solve the problem
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Akroma - Cryptocurrency. Smarter. (Smart Contracts. Masternodes. Oracles.) on: February 01, 2018, 07:50:18 PM

1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Akroma - Cryptocurrency. Smarter. (Smart Contracts. Masternodes. Oracles.) on: January 29, 2018, 05:27:49 PM
Yeah, interesting but damn 90k blocks already mined? So 10 days (estimate) so far and just now an ANN?

Dev can you please explain?

im not the dev, but the blocks are super quick, the chain i think has only been live a few days (ive been mining it for about 48 hours myself)
they are active in discord, check them out there, project has been in the works for some time it seems Smiley

OP looks dece, good luck guys!
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cryptocards - Unique Collectible Cards on: January 27, 2018, 01:26:11 PM
this dosent seem to be an ICO or altcoin, i think you should post this in the marketplace and specifically the collectibles section  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0)
it wont get much attention on this board, just bounty hunters :/
I am very interested, but the lack of apparent OTHERS interest for this awesome collection is worrying, will you consider a forum escrow till physical delivery of cards?

Good Luck on the sales, if ETH wasent a headache to use for payments with the gas thing i would buy like 5 of these, consider accepting BTC as well maybe! Cheesy
.........................................

Hi, we just began marketing them Smiley The only effort towards this part until now was posting a thread on this forum, which doesn t mean a lot in terms of exposure. The marketing campaign begins as of today. Thanks for your early support. At the moment we will stick with accepting ETH in the coming months as the collection/public grows we will code another payments options! Thanks a lot!

sounds good! i am anxious to buy some of these, i think their awesome
You should consider the Bitconnect and NEM situations for some cards, i can already picture the Bitconnect one Cheesy hahahha

1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zPoolMiner Gui Mining Software for zpool.ca Version 1.9.0.1 - Released on: January 24, 2018, 06:45:16 PM
12 minutes per hour is 20% a day that goes for the dev.

LOL, just use awesomeMiner which is free to use. It has all the bells and whistles + many more features.

i would counter with:  why is Nicehash popular? because they pay well? NOT.
because they have a "one-click" GUI
This is the same.
Awesomeminer is well, awesome, but takes hours, PER rig, to setup.
NO thanks. i have way too much going on to individually put up to 3 hours into 30+ rigs....
this miner, goes to zpool, a auto-convert BTC pool, which i was doing by hand anyways...   other pools are already mentioned to be planned as well
so this saves me alot of trouble personally
and also, your math is bad, it was clear in the op it was around 1% (variations can touch 2% sometimes)  which is considered "acceptable  industry standard" for crypto-services usually ;p

1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 24, 2018, 03:31:55 PM
hey SP, do your mods run in linux?
i got a buddy thats gonna go in with me for one of your mods, but he needs it on linux Cheesy
i can't do the 0.05 alone right now Cheesy , i have 2 other of your mods hehe

If you can include a linux binary, lets make a deal!
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Organizing Group Buy: Innosilicon A6 LTC Miner on: January 22, 2018, 11:54:42 PM
no info on buyer protection here...
The whole OP you dont even mention the word escrow once Sad
idk, maybe your reputable or w.e, but your trust wall is blank, and i dont live close enough to check out your facility myself
unless someone reputable can vouch for you, or you start talking escrow, im not touching this, sorry Sad
whenever i see one dude talk about "we" i always get scared Cheesy haha
1348  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: CANADA SELLING S9 / D3 / L3+ / A3 / M3 --- INBOX / EMAIL ME on: January 22, 2018, 06:42:14 PM
bump

whoa, im in the same province, small world! Cheesy
i would be able to entertain a local pickup as such
would save us both escrow and time!
i would be interested in the D3 and A3, tho i admit the A3 is a bit steep for me personally right now Cheesy
but i do love me some D3's.. now that the drama has died down around them haha

Good Luck on sales! let me know!
(i would need some pics and such of them running b4 coming to pickup)

you can buy these for 300 USD if one just watches the resellers sites Sad  like 2x a week they get a few in stock
not to mention since MSI armors are the worse cards ever made, those specifically are super easy to get usually
Take this scam markup to ebay, enthusiasts here will just laugh at your gouging, Ha!

1351  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: January 22, 2018, 06:08:02 AM
cautious with them NOW?
one should have been running for the hills when they "lost" 100mill$ in BTC...

tbh, anyone who stays there is just like a yobit user, cant really complain its a scammy PoS, you all knew what you were getting into (had you done some research)
wish someone would build a transparent, REGISTERED in a 1st world country nicehash type service Sad

Since there is no news on their twitter or anything and it seems they are closing accounts with big balances, I will open a new topic in the scam accusations.

i guess with the 31st looming on them, this is literally what one would call  "robbing peter to pay paul" Sad
hope you guys can get a resolution, impossible to trust a company founded by a convicted hacker imo tho Sad

1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LENDERBOT.IO - THE NEW ERA OF BLOCKCHAIN LENDING on: January 22, 2018, 05:57:33 AM
^^^^ jesus christ you cucks, fuck off
Did you not see the  "posting one liners like that will get you BANNED?" pinned item? :/  meh, im sure the Pharmacist will find you soon enough Cheesy

when i saw the OP , all i could think was:   Bitconnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeecccccttttt Cheesy   (sorry, i had too)

Lending platforms dont work for one reason. world wide liability in the laws eyes is damn near impossible in crypto, theres ZERO punishment for borrowing what the gov considers funny money and fucking off in most places :/
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: ⛏[ANN][pre-alpha]Whalesburg - SOFTWARE BUNDLE FOR CRYPTOCURRENCY MINERS⛏ on: January 22, 2018, 05:46:37 AM
SO complicated, but hey thats "reinventing mining" i guess? Sad

da fuk is autominer? some 7 month old program i found here...?  https://github.com/autominer/autominer
how do you connect to those pools you posted? theres no ports listed...

this looks like shit, i wont be investing, but would love to use the softwear/web-UI one day if it ever becomes real :/
Sadly, i cant see it happening in current state Sad

totally unusable, maybe you should have linked some packages for people to even START with? Sad

1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WMCC]World Mobile Coin | PoW | X15 Algo | CPU/GPU Miner on: January 22, 2018, 01:53:18 AM
I mined about 24h and get nothing, i have gave up mining by my computer solo.

diff is over 11 now, CPU mining is LONG gone
personally i only CPU mine something under 1 as a difficulty, as otherwise its just too hard :/

Where the pools at? Cheesy
1356  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 43 pcs Brand New Antminer L3+ 10 days Delivery with Hosting in Canada on: January 22, 2018, 01:48:26 AM
tbh, the company you "host" with is not only 200% more expensive then similar options, but they literally have ZERO photos or evidence of even HAVING a DC
except for you shilling it of course Cheesy
cant trust this myself, maybe you should read the basic marketplace rules before offing something that looks so scammy :/
might get more interest

Well, if you believe this is a scam, then the shipment can be arranged to you on receipt of the miners, kindly let me know how many pieces do you want to buy ? And let me know what is scammy in this and which marketplace rule is broken ?

I hope this is not a pass again after saying it a scam.

well generally one needs evidence of claims
you showed a could be in 2 mins doctored with inspect element invoice that shows all you have done is click thru their process
no payment or arrangements have been made, anyone could do what you did in 3 mins
also, its kinda strange that your host seems to ONLY host for YOU? and OTHER dc's in montreal seem to have never heard of them? theres also not a single pic
oh, but they say what all scammers say  "we can't give location due to security reasons" heard that 100x before

all you seem to care about here is asking people "how many do you wanna buy?"
i dont want ANY, as you dont HAVE any clearly :/

1358  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: KPMHOSTING - 1.2 MW - Miner Hosting / Colocation - Quebec, Canada on: January 22, 2018, 01:04:35 AM
holy crap not to be a douche, but your host fees are almost 200% that of the competition (Cryptoboreas)
Not only that , but they are ESTABLISHED :/
when your host price is close to 60USD per kw/h, we can talk, thats within 25% of the competition
(why you using USD anyways, its a sad way to gain 30% off people when your a canadian company imo)

1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling World Mobile Coin [WMCC] on: January 21, 2018, 08:39:36 PM
i can sell some WMC is someone needs
asking 500 sats per coin tho, diff is going nuts now :/
Can sell most any amount, escrow accepted!
Hopefully this one sees an exchange soon!
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: zPoolMiner Gui Mining Software for zpool.ca Version 1.9.0.1 - Released on: January 21, 2018, 03:22:06 PM
my gtx 970 shows neoscrypt as an option.
my 960m shows it as an option
wont bench "hsrneoscrypt" tho,     terminated status if i try.
all other algos seem to work fine Smiley
Keep up the good work, love this GUI miner <3
Same on my 980ti. shows and crashes. I didn't attempt to do a full bench, just told it to try that one to see if it would just skip it.

Is this happening on a fresh folder or did you copy the patch into the folder with the existing release?

If any of you are willing to give me teamviewer access to see what's going on direct message me on discord ( Cryptominer937#0439 ) or twitter ( @MyCryptoCoinz )

fresh folder for me, i dl'd the google link thing there you posted, extracted it to a brand new folder, and let it redownload the miners fresh (had to add an exception for EACH miner in AV haha, kinda annoying ;p, but thats not on you of course)
ill DM you on discord, im down for the cause and can give you access to my workstation if needed
