421  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 🎄Xmas Sleigh Race for $800 000 | 🎁Collect gifts all the way! on: December 14, 2023, 05:47:23 PM
Thanks @dwyane38 for the positive mindset. Some persons don't want to be criticised and whenever there is a criticism towards them they will see it as a mockery. It is criticism that boosts performance because it helps an individual or a team to conduct self appraisal. If betfury team are relax, on seeing that some persons are tracking their road map, they will not relax anymore and that is the only way for a casino to produce quality consistently. So, whenever there is such a criticism or non positive review of a casino, it will be fine if both the casino owners and ordinary gamblers not to see it as a mockery but as a constructive criticism.

It’s different on Betfury thread since the team already abandoned the communication here so most of the criticism is also a mockery at the same time due to no answer from the team to address all the criticism.

Betfury ANN thread is already a place to mock rather than to provide constructive criticism because there’s no since criticism being address here and people already tired on giving suggestions.
422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 14, 2023, 05:09:09 PM

2 weeks went by, no response via email, none whatsoever.

I don't know if this is true but given the volume of people that's requesting a refund and are angry at Betnomi, I think that you shouldn't base your belief in Betnomi by their response time to their emails because they're getting a lot of hatemails already and it's an instinct for them to ignore it and basically your email is probably drowned in spam and hatemails from other players. Maybe you can hope that you'll be able to get some response from them now that you've exposed yourself.

They already stated on their previous post that only few left that still doesn’t receive their funds before they close. The large volume of fake claims is very easy to address since they have all the original information of their players including email.

The email itself is sufficient to claim the refund without the need of KYC unless they imposed KYC to all their user before then KYC really matters at all. They should have at least process the first batch if they are really serious about this refund process.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Young student teaching his classmates about Bitcoin on: December 14, 2023, 05:01:48 PM
That was really a very good initiative done by this 9 years old boy, of which the statement given above tells much about all we need to know how a 9year could have been able to have such vast knowledge to educate his colleagues at school about the importance of Bitcoin to the society. Because from my little research, I'm made to understand that "Decentra Suze" Henry's mum is a Bitcoin Journalist & Head of Mining and Sustainability in the U.K, and as such you never could have expected anything less, but another young Bitcoin enthusiast, which Henry actually took over, as a proud son of his mother.

I’m not sure if his mother comment on the article is good or bad because the picture on the article censored the face of the kid for his privacy while the mother publicly admitted that her child which contradicts the censorship of the identity.

It’s really nice to see young generation encouraging their peers to become curious about Bitcoin. Not all young age have the interest to become serious on pursuing topics that involve finance and investment.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The latest binance p2p scam and how to avoid them on: December 10, 2023, 03:49:54 PM
To be clear and avoid Binance P2P: Try to make transactions with only one person who opens the P2P service, don't move around. If it goes smoothly with A, then just try with A. It's even safer if you really know the person opening the p2p service personally, or know him in the community and have a good and responsible reputation. Always try to check the exchange rate in real time so you can differentiate between what is reasonable and what is not. And look at reviews of several transactions that have been made.

This is almost impossible to do since not everyday this same person open an ads and also the price difference is one of the main deciding factor (aside for the trust score) to choose the seller /buyer on P2P. Choosing only one person to trade on P2P will make your freedom to choose useless.

Binance P2P have trust score feedback and number of successful trade stats. I believe the best way to avoid scam is to just choose good reputation seller and also never deal outside the P2P info such as email and text message. Binance P2P is pretty straightforward since all the details is already shown without the need to open the chat box.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Sanction On Mixers Would Make This Forum Boring on: December 10, 2023, 03:08:55 PM
What do you think?

Make this forum boring? I doubt that, Mixer is not that popular topic compared to Bitcoin technicality and price discussion. Signature campaign is what makes it popular here. I’m in the forum for a long time with mixers existing but not many users talks about it too frequent compared to price discussion.
426  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: December 10, 2023, 03:04:22 PM
Basically we are just talking about staking our crypto? I dont see anything new here because staking our crypto is an entire new universe and business model out there. Im not sure what benefit a user can get from staking on a casino but as far as I have seen only freebitco is the one I have seen coming up with their premium account idea. At least one can stake money their and get lot of freebies back. They have perfect staking model for it and it benefits both users and entity itself. But see the difference between what have you explained and the freebitco staking model. They are entirely different and unmatched. Staking already exists everywhere but not all casinos offer them the perfect way.

Not the staking itself but rather the token that will be lock during staking and unstaking period. Simply any method that will make your fund locked for a certain period of time is the main point for the self exclusion on this topic.

The most simple way is to convert your coins to Bitcoin since the fee right now is unstable and mostly high. Many Bitcoin holders just hold because of the high transaction fee. This will save time on waiting for unstaking.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 09, 2023, 02:10:58 PM
Nothing good comes easy, so if we must succeed in trading even as experience as we are, we must keep on putting in the work to learn more, so that we can be a better trader and reap the rewards of our work.

I’m a seasonal trader for so many years yet I’m still experiencing losses on trading due to crypto volatility. Trading cryptocurrency is a work in progress until the end because the price action is always unpredictable even how good your TA is due to manipulation and other factors that can result sudden movement on the price.

That’s why holding is far better than trading on crypto because the price action is stressful while the price always pumping long term especially in Bitcoin. You can guarantee profit and less stress if we just hold on Bitcoin instead of trading it or any altcoins.

429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 06, 2023, 02:53:52 PM

This is exciting, actually, as we will be seeing how Zion would play in a situation like this. It's not the playoffs yet but it's similar to the playoffs, like a Game 7 because it's a single-elimination game. It's the experienced Lakers versus the talented Pelicans. Now, I think it's hard to choose, but if we base it on how they won in the quarter-finals, I think the Pelicans should be the right choice.

It’s easy Lakers all day long since Lebron is very good on tournament like this since he has a lot of experience which means he has a better performance on crucial games like this. I doubt that raw power of Zion can beat an A full power Lakers since they are not Nuggets that has a lot combination due to Jokic play making.

I think Bucks is the only team that has a best shot to beat Lakers on this tournament since they have Giannis with experience on crucial matches. Zion is still lack of experience and not that flexible compared to the other dominant players.
430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 06, 2023, 02:08:05 PM
I can suppose that other famous players are already busy. Or among other players, Suarez is famous for his biting. I dont think that Duelbits are focusing on Brazil only (not because Suarez plays in Brazilian club definitely, because Duelbits are official sponsors of Premier Ligue club), but they are focus on South America in general. Suarez play for Brazil club, he is from Uruguay itself, and Argentina with new president (who cheers for Bitcoin) is near.

oh, interesting, I didn't know Suarez was Uruguayan.
is it the first time Duelbits does a partnership like that, with a famous player, or it happened in the past?

and what do you mean by biting? I didn't get this part.

AFAIK they already have in the past but mostly to a team and league on different sports. This my first time to see a player sponsorship in football for Duelbits.

However, Duelbits sponsor AFA(ArgentinaFoot Association) which Messi itself acknowledged the sponsorship by the Duelbits on an interview. Duelbits seems leveling up their sponsorship when they acquire a deal with Suarez.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People losing their Bitcoin is not a risk to Bitcoin: on: December 06, 2023, 02:00:23 PM

The truth is that people actually loose access to their private keys and will loose their bitcoin In the process and a lost bitcoin isn't even a disadvantage to the network but actually increase the value of bitcoin in circulation and so if you take all the security measures being shared in the platform for granted, you're putting yourself at a serious disadvantage because if you loose your bitcoin due to your carelessness, it's your loss and not that of bitcoin and I doubt their is a means you can use in recovering a lost Bitcoin without your private keys.

But who will assume that lost of Bitcoin due to carelessness of holder is a disadvantage to Bitcoin network while there’s tons of lost incidents even on fiat but these type of incidents never associated to fiat network itself but rather to owner itself.

Lost Bitcoin doesn’t increase the price of circulating supply of Bitcoin but rather it just reduce the potential of decreasing the price in the future since inactive Bitcoin is already relevant to circulating supply. The demand on Bitcoin is the one that gives more value to Bitcoin and not lost Bitcoin just because it stop being circulated.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 06, 2023, 11:16:53 AM
What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin? And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?

Stop browsing altcoin price and just focus on checking Bitcoin. Having a mindset of investing only on Bitcoin is very hard to pull off if you are regularly checking altcoin price too which typically have more gains than Bitcoin on bull season.

Just like being loyal to your partner or wife. Don’t look to other girl if you want to stay focus your main girl. Same with Bitcoin, stop looking on altcoins.
433  Other / Meta / Re: I have no more merit left to give! on: December 06, 2023, 11:13:19 AM
I think this is a nice reminder that is the prompting when you are to hand out merits:  " This is what determines your forum rank. You typically cannot lose this merit. You have 0 sendable merit (sMerit) which you can send to other people. There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future."

I still have smerit but I’m trying my best to distribute them on thread which I visit often but since I’m not a merit source then I have no obligation to distribute them ASAP since the merit decay is not at play anymore.

Just apply for merit source if you have the time to browse bunch of thread in daily basis to distribute merit. It’s not hoarding if you don’t distribute your smerit yet just because you don’t see any post that deserves merit the time when you are browsing the forum.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 05, 2023, 06:56:01 PM
But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
Gambling can never be a career because Notting is certain in times of gambling and however the only thing we can consider to be our career is something we are sure of generating income either daily or monthly, so gambling can never be considered as a daily, weekly or monthly income generator because there is every possibility that someone could stay up to two months without wining a single game so if perhaps you depend on the gambling to survive how would you take care of your needs when you have not won a bet  for two months?

There’s a skill based gambling that can give consistent profit for players with exceptional skills like in poker and sportsbet. There’s many gambler that do this full time career since they can minimize the risk through their analysis skills.

But this is impossible to attain with the typical gambling games such as slot that is just pure random.

Quote
I no that there are people who are seriously benefiting from gambling but that doesn't mean that gambling can favour everybody.

It’s like trading, not everyone can win since it’s a player vs player but still some people can do trading as a career. It’s same with skill based gambling which is player vs player too.
435  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the DOJ doing too much? on: December 03, 2023, 05:14:55 PM
It's been a roller coaster month for Binance – first, it was C_Z stepping down as CEO and Binance being fined $4.3B by the DOJ for securities breaches.

The latest development is that their ambassador, Cristiano Ronaldo, has been sued for promoting Binance and unregistered securities. It's unfortunate that he's facing legal action after endorsing the exchange😢. What are your thoughts about this?

It’s not too much if there’s a legal basis with their actions. The party involved has freedom to file a motion against the lawsuit if he thinks that the charges are unfair. The problem is these involved usually don’t think this far before doing their action or hoping that they will not get caught.

It’s only too much if DoJ is just giving random charges without any legal proof to support it. Beside DoJ is always harsh when it crypto is involved because we are still on hray area that’s why they can use the law with their advantage.
436  Other / Meta / Re: Is it accepted to call member criminal in a thread - no proof, no context... on: December 03, 2023, 04:51:10 PM
But for some individuals, it is not ideal to use defamatory words on people even though it doesn't violate the rules of the forum.

As many reputable member already said in the past. You should grow a thick skin here since defamatory words is always expected on public forum especially that we are all anonymous. You shouldn’t take the harsh word personally or else you will encounter a lot of problem on dealing with aggressive user here.

In real life, there are words that should not be used against people else you will attract a law suit, just becuase this is a digital space doesn't mean one should not be cuatious of what words are used. Remember all that is said in here remains a digital footprint and might be used against you futuristically even within the forum.

The problem is we have different set of rules here in the forum and it’s very hard to file a lawsuit inter continental to an anonymous user. So having a thick skin is the best choice to deal with this kind of personal issue. Ignore button is our friend in time like this.
437  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: December 03, 2023, 04:45:52 PM

Their recent action including solving all the problem, launching signature campaigns and having their own review campaigns makes the, back on track again. Also Bc.game is still very popular in my country since many local streamers partnered with them even when they start decreasing the bonus reward.
They haven't started any of their marketing campaigns in the forum. They have initiated the signature campaign but where did you come across their review campaign. I might have missed it and if possible can you guide me where it is posted.

They initially post the campaign here but later on move to game and rounds since it was flooded easily here. They have different mechanics to the typical review/feedback campaign here because they use forms for submissions and not on the thread.

You can visit this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476002.msg63243771#msg63243771

I’m not sure if there’s still spot left but the promotion is first come first serve basis limited to 100 participants.
438  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: December 03, 2023, 03:47:31 PM
They actually need that since they let people down for one time already that's why they need to impressed people by staying active and showing how serious they are dealing with their past issues. And so far they impressed already a lot of people here that's why they are continue to do good business in this forum. Although it maybe hard for old compromised gamblers to trust them but once they already see that BC.Game back and became a good also reputable casino for sure those people will go back and play those games they used to play.

For now its good for BC.game to take care those people contacting them regarding their past issue and solve it because it will gain more plus point for them especially for a lot of people following on what they are currently doing.

Yes, they need the brand name as I have seen them marketing extensively outside the forum on blockchair and other Bitcoin related websites. The way they have handled the ongoing issues of forum members with Swift response is admirable. I don't foresee a trust regain on forum members so fast but they know they need the forum for getting active users on their platform. I feel they would put in some more efforts to regain the trust deficit of forum members.

They didn’t pull an actual scam since most of their issue is initially addressed by them and they just have conflict on how to move forward on the case because they different basis for the claim. Giving the players money makes them easily regain their reputation here because that their only issue. They didn’t steal player money but rather just have a conflict on releasing the rewards.

Their recent action including solving all the problem, launching signature campaigns and having their own review campaigns makes the, back on track again. Also Bc.game is still very popular in my country since many local streamers partnered with them even when they start decreasing the bonus reward.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 03, 2023, 03:39:58 PM

I have been here for a long time in crypto gambling, but I have never really experienced winning a large amount in a casino here in cryptocurrency. That's why other gamblers who hit the jackpot are sometimes envious.

Is it in my mind that my lips say that such an amount means that I already have a good life and all I will do is enjoy life? Then I will know that those who won millions in the lottery or casino will suddenly return to the poverty of their origin. So because of a situation like this, we can also think that it is not really possible to get a profit here in the gambling of the fix; instead, it is really just luck to win here.

Same, it’s really hard to win jackpot prize here especially if we are not frequently playing games such as slot that has massive multiplier for our small bet. I usually just play card games and sport betting which is why I rarely manage to win big aside from making x2 of my bankroll unlike other player here that literally grow their bankroll to insane level by hitting max multiplier in slot games.

I’m just thinking that they already loss huge amount before they hit jackpot to remove my envious feelings toward them. Because it’s very hard not to feel envy if you are struggling on winning while others seems like doing it too easy.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: December 02, 2023, 06:13:50 PM
Slots are the most "fun" game around according to some people, I personally do not enjoy them all that much because I feel like they are brain numbing and I do not get that much fun out of them. However, I od agree that there are a lot of people who enjoy it a lot and they like to just spend time like zombies.

How come a game that even a no brainer can play is a brain numbing while you are just clicking spin button and watch for the result. Surely you will not pay attention on the game if you are just playing using an amount which is too small or just a demo account because you don’t feel the excitement and thrill of the game itself.

Probably you are just not a fan of games that is just spin and win but slot games is designed to become entertaining due to the graphics and different gameplay mechanics that varies per slot type.
