First, let's see a working torrent system and then we can start the hype train, the dev seems like an honest guy, but there is no way to know if he will deliver. I've found digital currency interesting for some time now, but as nothing I do encourages using bitcoin, I've never bothered. Am I correct that vtorrent plans to have sharing files be part of the mining process? If so, I'm totally in as soon as I have my own computer again. Bringing the torrent community into the digital currency game is a definite good idea. I only created an account on this site, so I could look into this.
Its nice to see a new member joining this community, welcome to vtorrent! You are indeed correct that this coin plans to share files p2p via the vtr blockchain. The traditional Proof Of Work mining has finished but there is a Proof Of Stake mining system in place which keeps the network running by vtr holders staking their coins in the wallet and rewarded with a stake of vtr coins when they find a block. The idea is a perfect fit for crypto, with a decentalised p2p system where users can freely exchange information over a blockchain. Vtorrent is going to be huge, ppl just dont see it yet. Everyone says they wish they had bought bitcoin when it was $1. I genuinely I think sometime in the future ppl will look back at this coin and and say similar things

Well, I am not the editor of Cointelegraph, so I can't really tell them what to do and where to put Gridcoin. Gridcoin is NOT a shitcoin, do your homework people! Just look at those stats: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-5/team/list/16/0#6 Gridcoin is 6th in the entire world in daily Boinc work! Gridcoin has had a relatively stable value since it launched in 2013, while everything else including the big name altcoins have crashed and burned. Well, then i kindly ask coin telegraph to make a whole article about Gridcoin and don't add it to the Fuelcoin and DogecoinDark shitcoins. You wouldn't follow a parade full of shit heads are you ?

Guys, let's list all our stuff that has been collecting dust for sale on Cointopay! I put up some of my gpus and older PC stuff up! I think this would be a great way for newbies to get some GRC, but don't have bitcoin and don't want to deal the hassles of opening exchange acc. They can just list their stuff for sale and get into the Gridcoin economy that way! I created a sales thread where people can list their stuff here: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/38289-cointopay-sales-thread-post-your-stuff/

0.012 is holding so far, but the monster support is at 0.01, that one is HUGE! Of course there is no guarantees that 0.01 will hold, but the chances are high that a lot of people will be executing orders there and the market will have a reaction. If you say there is a massive triple-support area sitting at 0.01, so we should be safe to put buy orders slightly above 0.01 knowing that heavy support will prevent price from crashing further? i just bought at 0.012 hopefully the price rises back to 0.015

Advertising, plus the wallet setup is still being simplified, some people have hard time setting things up. This is such an amazing coin and clearly a cut above the rest of the alts. Why is it not worth more? Is it just an advertising problem?
