when you stuff the orderbook with lots of these little orders others can't see what orders are being placed and you can't judge buying demand. I think the point of the bot is to distort the bid/ask orderbook so traders can't see where the resting orders are, it is a dirty trick.
Could you elaborate on that? What are they trying to accomplish?

This bot/trader has the whole orderbook filled with this junk. Bigvern should put some rules in for this type of thing.

are you sure he was not blacklisted from the GRC hack?? contact Rob(dev of Gridcoin) directly and give him the txID of the transactions so he can check. Yes, a user tried to withdrawal their coins as I had asked them to, however the blockchain was not sync'd or on the right version, now i have a transaction of 9827GRC that has 0 confirmations and is not in the blockchain, the coins are gone from the wallet.

can you explain what you are talking about? Any suggestions for transactions that are stuck due to running one of the numerous wrong versions? I have a users withdraw that is stuck since , most likely due to gridcoin.us having mismatched versions of software.
For the love of god if you are going to offer multiple download options please make sure they are all up to date. I'm going to have to purchase some gridcoins so I can have my users continue with their trading and "hope" they send any extras back if their transactions actually go through.
If you got those coins in a right chain and if you sent them to wrong chain you should get back your coins with the right chain. Meaning that you still have those coins in the right chain so install newest wallet and rebuild blockchain should do? Hope so.. Well after ****ing with this thing all day I'm unable to get these 2 stuck transactions to do anything. Time to go buy some gridcoin and pay a couple users so I can be done dealing with this.

The dev has a full time job so it might take him some time to get this done. Grc is on several other exchanges. That's cool, just as an FYI, we ADDED a command to the already existing commands and renamed an existing command.
I will put the original commands back the way they were, but its not going to be tonight or tomorrow, so take it easy for a while and Ill let you know when its working.
Thanks!
Rob H.
Still waiting on that. Without it - it's not on AllCrypt and I'm not sure how it can be running on any other exchange either. I don't care if several other exchanges are not using all the commands they should be to handle the coins properly. The gridcoin team changed fundamental RPC commands. We use a full suite of commands to secure and transfer coins to ensure that the transactions are safe. The gridcoin wallet will not run with our system, because our accounting is more in depth. I was told the commands would be changed back so that the coin could run on Allcrypt. Unless that happens it will have to be removed. I was told it would happen, but its been a week now. If the dev team does not want it on AllCrypt, please say so, as I have users getting frustrated that they have made deposits they cannot use, and GRD they cannot buy. It is in everyone's best interest to have your coin on as many exchanges as possible. We're not being unreasonable to ask that a coin follow the standards that every other coin follows as far as RPC command structure. Yes, we COULD put the coin on as it is. But then we lower security and accountability standards, and thats not acceptable. I'd really appreciate an answer as to if the wallet will be fixed, or if we should remove Gridcoin.

You should follow out twitter the updates are published as they come out.: https://twitter.com/GridcoinNetworkWell after digging through the thread etc, I was able to finally get the right version and sync my client. However, looking back through the thread was not an efficient way to find out what version etc I need to be on. I was unable to find any information on versions etc in the OP and looking through thread history I see update after update after update. I hope gridcoin does well but at this time I will be removing gridcoin from www.cryptoaltex.com. I just noticed the OP never updated the front page with our exchange either. I have emailed all users that have gridcoin on the exchange that we will be removing gridcoin until there is a proper linux daemon that does not require wine and does not have continuous updates. Please for the sake of your users update all files on the website to be accurate. I downloaded the self install and ran the QT and wasted an hour watching it attempt to sync while trying to figure out what version I should be on. Yes, I see there is an update command apparently in this wallet etc, but good practice is to update the OP with "MANDATORY UPDATE" and link to the update along with version information. Thanks to all who have been using www.cryptoaltex.com, sorry we are removing the coin. We have to much going on to monitor all these updates.

That is great news, I just made a announcement on twitter.

WOW that is horrible. Funny people mention customer service, I had accidentally withdrawn Bitcoin from my mcxNOW account to my PMC wallet on poloniex. I knew my mistake instantly and I put in a ticket at mcx asking if there was a fix for it, the response was "LOL, you're on your own" basically. Meanwhile Busoni at Poloniex went out of his way to consult the forums and figure out how to fix the issue and recovered my money and never made me feel stupid for it. That says a lot.

I hate to say but I think that is true, the exchange has a lot of promise, but the way it is being run right now it is heading into the ground. That people even trade there...
that guy should be banned from crypto he is a complete douchebag. nice to call your clients fucktards constantly
gzus guys..boycot that idiot
The supposed DOGE addition was at the height of its trading volume. He had no plans to add DOGE. He only wanted to sell more FEES with the DOGE hype. It worked. ~BCX~

The pool mining is Beta @ this point. Gotta question about pool mining, hopefully I'm in the right thread. I'm connected to http://pool.gridcoin.us, and everything is working swimmingly. I even found a block. But I am completely mystified about how the ranking of the leaderboard works, and how payouts are calculated. The pool site is pretty bare-bones, so I couldn't find any kind of help or docs on there. The column labeled "Boinc RAC" only appears to show the first few digits of my actual RAC. For example, if my average daily credits show in the wallet as 210,000, this column shows it only as "2100" (is that just a display bug, or are position and payouts being calculated only on the first 4 digits of my actual RAC?) And are there really only 18 miners using that pool? (as of the time of this post) I would've expected a lot more people to be mining in the pool.

CPU mining has been suspended for security upgrades. Only pool and solo mining available for now. The devs are real professionals! I don't mine this coin, I added suppressminingconsole=true to my conf file. And instead of using the wallet like a normal user I'm getting dumb error messages, every time a start the wallet!(not only once as the message say) Yeah, you know what you're doing!

I think this whole paid voting thing on these exchanges is an absolute ripoff. If they want to add it great, if not, that is ok too. Looks like Gridcoin is being down-voted with a bot on crypto rush... The voting system on there is a big scam.

That is a great idea man. I hope someone is willing to do this. There seems to be an imminent hard fork in the development of gridcoin the developers are talking about making cpu mining also calculate a cpu only algorithm diverting users processors away from boinc You might want to get your facts straight and read a little before you start criticising every step of the development process. Don't get me wrong a constructive critic is welcome, but that's not what you're doing most of the time, imho. Andrew. Sorry man, i just panic easily. How about a good idea from me for a change? How about somone takes the open source code from this http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/02/28/htc-posts-full-source-code-for-power-to-give-app-and-associated-boinc-server/ and makes an android cpu miner with a built in wallet? This would instantly make GRC one of the main cryptocurrencies out there. Yeah, how about this? Large quantities of ARM hashing devices We're talking about a potential cpu mining user base of several million android miners easily. Not only will it push gridcoin to the number 1 spot in the team rankings, but it would also act as the wallet for users to trade on the go. Replicating current android cryptocurrency wallet functionality (qr code scanning for transactions, and encryption/backup of wallet.dat/private keys) alongside extending the power to give app with gridcoin reward. I've actually put a 1.5btc bounty against this. See the following /r/gridcoin thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/gridcoin/comments/1zca5n/gridcoin_bounties/edit: further relevant info. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/AndroidBoinc

I wanted to do this for a while, but had to wait till the new logo was finished. I had a graphic designer create this infographic for Gridocoin. You can use this freely and post it on reddit or other forums to showcase what Gridcoin is all about.
Hi traderman, Amazing stuff! Thanks a ton for doing this! Andrew.
