4221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 01, 2019, 12:55:56 PM
I'm using technica analysis when I do trading, I'm a day trader and holding coin in a long time is not suitable for me, I have a limit of 4 days and if my bias did not happen I will sell it immediately or if the price falls down in my cut loss price. There are still opportunities in other coin and I will find another coin to switch if my trade plan did not happen.
Im trying to not hold a lot these year since I learned my lesson from last year that almost drained my portfolio. I don't always use analysis just thru news or thru graphs only. It's good to do day trading and try to earn thru our strategy that keep waiting on holding.
4222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Be the Saving Grace for Ailing Banks? on: December 01, 2019, 10:53:30 AM

banks will try find some ways that they'd still be used by people despite the fact that the wallet itself can function like a bank already. so what does the bank do again this time, they will still ask money for storing your coins to them?

although there will be users who will be embracing banks to also accept cryptocurrency deposits, it will really be unlikely for the people to use banks especially the ones who knows why satoshi created BTC.
Almost all banks have their mobile banking as well investment accounts that offers higher interest or trading account. It's unlikely that they will accept crypto but transfers in depositing seems fine now than before. It can depend on what country we live in.

4225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 30, 2019, 02:20:54 PM

Yeah, I was shocked when Manny Pacquiao appeared in the middle of the path for the cauldron. I agree that it makes me proud of being a Filipino despite having a lot of issues from the start. This is what we called development through mistakes, the organizers prove that the issues regarding the 30THSEA GAMES are wrong and now they made an event that really makes us proud. Very extravagant!

It's also in the history that the 30th Sea Games happened in the Philippines and lightened up by our famous Senator which is a legendary boxer, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.

There just many negatrons that posted the preparation, now they see the reality on how amazing the Sea Games is, the expectations vs reality post were everywhere and even athletes from different countries were impressed. Let's hope for a successful Sea games as well a winning for PH.
4226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Type of crypto school on: November 30, 2019, 01:40:58 PM
The Bitcointalk.org forum has reached the age of 10, there is a lot of knowledge about crypto here that has been shared by most experienced people. If we want, then we only need to set aside time and effort to get knowledge about crypto here by actively engaging in discussions with those who have knowledge and experience. In addition, YouTube has helped many people who want to learn and add insight into crypto.

Frequently involved in discussions is also one way to accelerate and facilitate us to understand and broaden insights on cryptocurrency both fundamental and deeper.
I also believe that there is no need for school as this forum can already help us, there are plenty of reference they can get here. And if they are really interested to learn crypto they will so their research and they can possibly get here in forum. Those who really interested will find their way to learn it at this age of Internet.
4227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: November 30, 2019, 12:15:22 PM
Could and ICO be run like a fundraiser ?
Tokens could be used to buy product at awesome discount price waay below market.
Is that something that can be done ?

ICO were created to make a fundraising for their project to gain investors and supporters, they offer discounts so many will get interest and their token should be useful to have supporters. The earlier you invest the higher the discount but be very carful in investing as ICO tends to fail now.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: November 30, 2019, 10:43:23 AM
my family is always been my priority and never been a gambling take any part of money if reserved for them.
but since i have some other option to gain money(aside from my investments here in crypto)so i can make some amount to spend in gambling.

i allocate at least 30-100 dollars weekly depend on my mood, sometimes not even a cent spent for week but sometimes it exceeds to my maximum budget when i am still enjoying.
It's happening to me too, sometime I allot only such amount then without me noticing it already exceeded, or when I'm think I'm lucky I tend to deposit more. Even in time when I say only a hour I sometimes spend whole day when it's day off. We really need to be discipline in gambling but there just some cheat days we consider.
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 29, 2019, 03:19:42 PM
I wouldn't let my station unsupervised  just because I'm a paranoic kind of guy. But in the hypothetic situation that I would have done that, I would have gotten angry at him "touching" my computer which he isn't supposed to do. That's one of the house rules - don't touch dad's workstation. Wink
It's a godd discipline, child should be disciplined as early as possible. For me it will depend on my child's age if too young then it can still consider fine but if I know he already knows to understand rules and follow guidelines then I'll be upset if ever it happens.

There is power in trying to find answers, its part learning faster if one is not lazy though, i am grateful for knowing that this forum exists because 90percent of all i know is from this forum and i believe its achievable because i always want to know more
Yes those reports that have proofs and shows ICO projects teams not being real were exposed in scam accusations. This board is really helpful in minimizing research as we can eliminate those proven scam here in forum. Thanks many users report their research to avoid more victims from those scam projects.
4232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 11:19:27 AM
I think Satoshi hides his/her true identity to make sure of his/her family safety.
Satoshi might want to have a normal life out of the spotlight out of all the controversy and safe from potential threat.
Government and also illegal syndicate would want to get him/her for his/her invention.
If I'm also in the place of Satoshi, I will not also reveal myself. He created something that will change the traditional process or platform and it will be hard to know who will be interested on him to support or to distract him as he invented something useful at the same threatening to others bad activities.

4234  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: November 28, 2019, 03:12:37 PM
We can't deny that sooner or later government will really interfere in crypto as many see it's importance as Investment and payment option. We should be ready and not expect too much that when we're crypto we're free not to pay tax. The only way crypto will not be ban or fully have adoption without worry of objecting the law is too put taxes like Japan since the government needs to find ways to earn in any means.
4235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new Bitcoin Android Application on: November 27, 2019, 02:51:36 PM
The idea, initiative is great knowing you do it OP all by yourself. I'll try to install it with my spare android phone that I'm not using in crypto to see how it really works.

And also, the app interface looks creepy like it is from the dark web. Make the design more friendly.

Please take note this too. It's better a simple interface than a dark one. Or add option to enable a white background than dark.
4236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Payment system | Wallet to wallet transfer | Your opinion on our features on: November 27, 2019, 02:19:48 PM
I wonder where country OP is, there is somehow same wallet that is able to do all the listed features excep to #4
Quote
4) Other electronic payment options (Paypal, Skrill, Perfect Money, Paysafecard, e.t.c)

This is what lucking in our local popular wallet, but it does have other e-payment options that are popular in our country and I'm hoping to see paypal soon in the local wallet I'm using.

As long as the support and security is fine. I guess it will attract more investors like what our wallet here is doing now.

4239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 27, 2019, 09:46:01 AM
I do not think that now we are in such a terrible state as you describe. Yes, we have problems, but they are all being solved, and most likely in a few months or in half a year we will see the growth of bitcoin and altcoins and all people will finally stop complaining about this market

Those projects who will survive from 2018 declined up to these bear market of 2019 until the new pump happens will be determined whether the existing projects will still be worth it in the near future as ICO is not on basis now for investors but those who already prove useful and I also believe that as this bear market continues the shitcoins will going to die too and there still some good alts that will prevail in this market.
4240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 26, 2019, 01:29:06 PM

Everytime I watch the news there's a negative comments about how the host handle this event not just the venue, but also the accomodation and the food. I keep on watching to become updated for the latest happening on the game.

Anyway still hoping for the best and for the safety of the players.
They only publicized are the fault, I almost believed that PH really mess this event but now there are really pictures that are in facebook now with hashtag #winasone , which we can see the real location venue, props, accommodation and etc. But we can't deny that is really have some flaws regarding the athletes service.
