Can you update the bins in the SgMiner-GM.  The one in AwesomeMiner doesn't work on rigs with Celeron processors (or any cheap processor- lol).  Here is a link to the updated bins and the post about it:

Thanks for the info about this, but why isn't this part of the official sgminer-gm release? It's not in their Github source repo either. Will it be?

If you want it on your miners today without having to wait, you can use the Upload custom mining software feature in Awesome Miner.

this is cmd claymore setting
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal 0x07ac77a11111d2e4eee00d7078596f4811111/rig1/mail@gmail.com

but I cant make this work on this app with claymore option?!  the config ask for username and refuse to complete the setup without. Once started stop second later?
It looks like when you use the Wizard to add a new miner, the Worker Name field is mandatory. Is this the problem you are referring to?
You can workaround that by adding the pool first, before you run the wizard. You can create the pool from the "New pool..." button in the toolbar. Later on when you create the miner, simply select this pool from the list.

I will correct the wizard in next release to not enforce Work Name to be specified, as some Ethereum pools doesn't require it.

any new functions in scripting tools of awesomeMiner  v.1.7.15??
The last few development versions has introduced several scripting improvements.
- You have an HTTP API that let you control the mining from external applications: http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/api.aspx
- The build-in C# scripting feature has also been improved and adds API for Antminer frequency control, SSH commands and more: http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/script.aspx

Please let me know if there are any specific features you are looking for.

Log sent via email.
Tried applying the update 9/21 09:45:00 time stamp.
Uninstalled and then re-installed and now back to v1.7.6

Edit: applied the prev release you gave, now up to v1.7.13 and working fine. Thanks.
Cheers!
Nice, and sorry for the inconvenience. I've just made v.1.7.15 available that first of all corrects the problem, but in addition to that takes care of all similar problems during startup and makes sure Awesome Miner will run fine anyway.
4265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: September 21, 2016, 03:31:36 PM
Argg! Just applied the latest dev version and it does not run. Tries to launch but before even getting a splash screen Windoze reports it has stopped working....
How can I rollback to the previous version?

Could you please send me the AwesomeMiner.log file?
Do Start->Run and type:
%localappdata%\AwesomeMiner
This will get you to the folder where the log file is located.

I've put the previous dev-version here, can you please try to download and use?
http://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msi
You may have to uninstall first.

I have a mining farm outside my town. There are mostly S9 antminers.
I'm interested if I can use this software in only monitoring purposes, on the place at a farm there are only miners and network equipment no PC or other host devices. Is it possible to use Awesome Miner remotely ? Or I need a host computer at a farm ?
Awesome Miner needs a Windows computer to run and a network connection (either local LAN, over Internet or some kind of VPN) to the miners. Either you need to put a PC on the site, or you need to setup VPN and connect to the farm over Internet, while running Awesome Miner somewhere else.
thanks for your answer, I guess a normal VPN router will do the job
Lets say I have a host on site, is it possible to monitor from anywhere without using rdp or vpn? Just with AM?
Awesome Miner has a built in web interface where you can monitor the mining, but it will still require you to be able to connect from your computer/mobile to the computer where Awesome Miner is running. Or was it some other kind of setup you had in mind?

There is another feature I've been thinking about implementing, and that is to let Awesome Miner push CSV files or Chart images (showing miner hashrate / stats) to a FTP-server.

I just purchased Awesome miner and so far I am very impressed.

There is something I am a bit confused about though. My rigs are mining to daggerhashimoto.eu.nicehash.com ... is it possible to set the last column to show BTC profit per day?
It works fine for all other algorithms, but Nicehash changed their API for how Ethereum/Daggerhashimoto is reported. I will update Awesome Miner to correct that.

Hi
Is it possible Awesome Miner to display Titan temperatures? Now i can get only zeros... I have read a lot but can not find any information about Titan processor temperatures, can you help me please?
Hi, that should be possible.

Could you please send me the API report for your Titan miner? Select your Titan miner in the Awesome Miner main window and go to the toolbar: Tools -> API Report
Thanks!

So far I am loving this latest dev build. Now having Privileged Access - that sticks through hard boot - to the few errant s7's I have and all my s9's is marvelous. Cheesy

On custom reporting of chip temps, folks should know Bitmine changed the API tags used for boards 2 and 3. Well technically, they moved the control cable ports and that changes the tags used. Think it was batch 10 or later. Anywho I now use
Code:
"Chip: " + stats.ChipTemp1 + " / " + stats.ChipTemp2 + " / " + stats.ChipTemp3 + " /  " + stats.ChipTemp4 + " °C"

Works for all s9 batches, just the '0' moves from spot-2 to spot-4.
Thanks for the update on this.

Request: Any way to make the performance graph record at least 12, preferably 24hrs? And be able to export the data as csv?
I ask because I am seeing weird behavior on a couple s7's and want to track when/how often.
Cheers!
Agreed, a longer period of time for history would be a great enhancement. Would it be possible to save that history with less detail for a week or even a month, and more detail for maybe 24 hours?

Logging to a csv file is desirable also.
These are good requests. Exporting to CSV will make perfect sense for larger period of times, because it will allow you to use Excel or similar to do more powerful analysis. I will put this high on the list of features to implement.

Actually in regards to number 1 above, it seems about 20% of my rigs will not accept the Remote Agent Update so I am having to do them individually.
Could you please send me the Awesome Miner log file and what time you experience this problem? Thanks!
4272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: September 12, 2016, 03:35:56 PM
I got the API working with sgminer-gm but it is missing the settings from the stock config file allowing it to run at regular speeds.  Things like work size etc.
You need to define that in Device Profiles in Awesome Miner. Then you point your miner (or pool) to the Device Profile you created.
Awesome Miner will not make use of any settings in the default configuration file.

Hey Patrike, I was curious if you'd have a moment to respond to my question from last week?  About setting up a CPU Miner in Awesome Miner or if it doesn't support that?

Thanks
The latest development version (1.7.11) of Awesome Miner has support for cpuminer-opt.
4274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: September 11, 2016, 09:32:19 AM
any chance of getting Wolf0 Ethereum miner on AwesomeMiner ASAP - it is faster, based on Sgminer and best of all no fee to use it.  Here is the link:
http://cryptomining-blog.com/8257-sgminer-gm-is-a-new-fork-of-sgminer-with-ethereum-support-from-genesis-mining/
Yes, I'm planning to do that.
I couldn't find too much documentation about it, and because it doesn't provide a Wallet parameter, I assume it's passed as part of the pool URL?
I just made development version 1.7.11 available, where sgminer-gm support is included. Please test it.

4276  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Another Mining program with an API? on: September 10, 2016, 06:38:36 PM
I've been looking around for mining programs that have APIs to use in a Project i'm trying to make and was curious if there was another program other than CGMiner that has an API for controlling everything?

The reason why is CGMiners API is incredibly confusing when I was reading the API and it wasn't making much sense.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
The next release of Awesome Miner will have a high level REST API where you can control the mining from external applications, but it will require you to have everything configured in Awesome Miner. Is that what you are looking for?

Sorry about the delated response on this one.
In the pool configuration in Awesome Miner you can select "Specify kernel". Does it work if you put diamond in there?
Now, it's my turn to say sorry for delay with response Smiley
Thanks a lot for advice. Yes, after typing manually "diamond" in kernel parameters, I was able to successfully run the sgminer. But the new question appeared: is it possible can set device intensity above 20?
Currently it's limited to 20, because that was the maximum in the past. I can probably change that if the maximum has been incresed these days.

There are several new features in the pipeline for Awesome Miner!

The new features are currently only included in the development version of Awesome Miner, which can be installed by activating "Check for development versions" in the Options dialog followed by Menu -> Check for updates.

List of features you can try (some are limited based on which license you have):
- Security and multi-user settings for access control for both the Windows application and the web interface
- Introducing an Awesome Miner HTTP API for access to mining information and operations from external applications
- Device Profiles are now supported for Claymore's Etheruem miner. Simplifies configuration by reusing profiles across multiple miners.
- Added zpool to Awesome Profit Switcher.
- Improved C# scripting API by adding support for both SSH commands and Antminer control commands
- Automatic setup of Antminer API settings when the API mode is detected as restricted
- Detection of failed Antminer chips in the rule for Dead Device detection
- More detailed mining statistics on the summary tab
- Highlight miners in list using colors defined by rules or manually from the toolbar
- Usability improvements to Options dialog
- Theme support for setting personalized color of the application.

Is it possible for awesome to detect if a miner has found a block ? As a kind of counter. It would be nice to make status of different versions of miners ?
Perhaps like a new field with a notice or a flag ?
It's first of all possible to use the Rules, and define a Trigger of the type "Detect Found Blocks". Then you can define if you want a notification on similar as an action.

You can also customize the progress field, and specify:
status.FoundBlocks
This will display the number of found blocks in the list of miner

More on the customizable progress field: http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/customizefield.aspx

I am having difficulty getting the mobile web browser working. I've got the port forwarded and it works on the PC that is running awesome miner. But I'm unable to get anything on my phone? Any suggestions would be great.
The first step is to verify if you can access the web interface from a web browser running on the same PC as Awesome Miner is running. If that works fine, it's most likely a firewall issue.

It might not only be port fortwaring configuration on the router, but also that you have the Windows firewall or any other security software running that blocks the connection. Does it work from your mobile if you run in on your local Wifi for example?

Works great on the same PC that runs awesome miner. Can't access through mobile on same wifi network. I'll check windows firewall.

Hmm no luck
Do you have any other computer on the same network that can access Awesome Miner web? Did you try to disable the firewall to rule out that as an issue?
