anyone know how to add write api access for  L3+???

I have it enabled with correct pw.
The feature to set Privileged API access for Antminers should work for L3 as well:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/antminerapi.aspx

Thank you. I got it.

I was putting in the Privileged IP of the miner, not which computers I wanted to give Write access. I did not read the clear description of what I was suppose to input.
Thanks for the feedback, I will try to make the description better.

Hey patrike

I haven't posted in while because no issue but I have one.
I'll  try explain as best i can ...

I have a 5 cards 4 are AMD cards and one is a NV GTX 1060 card and I'm mining Zec, i have to use CM 12.5 for the AMD cards and for the GTX 1060 i have to use EWBF's Zcash cuda miner.

The Problem is If I use  the Map System Monitoring it shows the GTX 1060 as a AMD card on device 0 which the AMD card is on device 0, is there a way to make AWESOME miner Show the GTX 1060 card as a GTX 1060 ..i have to load it by it self because CM 12.5 Zec miner doesn't support NV cards ...and EWBF shows it as Device 0 when it's device 4 and sense it does awesome lists it as Device 0 which makes it think the gtx card is a AMD card ... but if i look at the list under the Maped system it shows the NV card as device 4 and as a GTX 1060 ... i think i explained right ...
Hi,
Map to System Monitoring should in your case show all 5 cards. Then you need to use the up/down buttons to define the order of them.

On your Claymore ZEC miner for AMD, you should first of all move down the nVidia card to the last position - then it will not be used in the GPU tab with your 4 active cards.
On your EWBF ZEC miner for nVidia, you should move the nVidia card to the top

Yes you can! Pushover allows you to generate unique email addresses in situations like this where direct integration is not supported. I have it working on my setup, its great.

I am doing same thing but you get a little more customization with native support.
Pushover is not supported. What will be supported later on is SMS messages.
3965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 17, 2017, 11:25:00 AM

Its odd one of the 3 pools supported is Zpool and it still does not have Blake2s. My dashboard is not correct because of this.

Need Blake2S support
Can't get advanced API with my L3+
Half the coins are not loading
Blake2s can be added in next release. I already noticed your other reply above that the L3+ issues was resolved.
Was there any other issues on the dashboard than Blake2s missing?

Hello, i dont want to pollute your thread with noob question Embarrassed

Finally i found  Embarrassed
My request to accept sgminer.exe on my firewall didnt work
---> Noob <---

i m very excited to used your log and make hours of seach to have the betest parameters ^^

PS/ do you have a link explain all paramaters i can do and the incidence of them
or maybe a link of conf made by others miners

PS/ do you have the command to stop miner if GPU is under 73° or up fan speed

thanks
Hi,
I don't have all these parameters for each mining software documented. I think you have to take a look at the readme-files for each mining software to figure out the details. I know this can be a bit complex, but unfortunately there are so many different mining software out there, and they are being developed all the time.

You can use the Rules (Options dialog, Rules section) to define that if GPU temperature is above a defined level, the miner should be stopped. More about rules:

3967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 17, 2017, 10:50:49 AM
SOMEBODY PLEASE write the correct script/code for miner reset when a GPU hangs, 'thread exit code 46 - or whichever".

It happens to me during the night and I lose hours of mining because of that,
I tried all suggestions from this topic, but nothing worked.

And send me your btc address, I'll give out a reward to successful solution.
It's popular to use Awesome Miner to detect and do something about these kind of issues, for example automatic restart or reboot. You can define rules based on hashrate, if mining process isn't working and so on. Awesome Miner is totally free for up to two miners, so please give it a try.

hi

I ve a good internet conection
I have select local miner -i have sgminer + GPU..............i m right ? or its an external ?

thanks for help
Hi,
Can you please be more specific about what you want to do, and I will be able to guide you better. Awesome Miner works with Sgminer and GPU mining in general. For this you use the Managed Miner concept where you let Awesome Miner be in full control of the mining operation:

3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 15, 2017, 07:30:54 PM
Hi,

I'm not getting any of the coins to update their exchange rate, in the log I found numerous error messages like this:

Quote
System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

Is anyone else having this issue? I can open these websites just fine in the web browser. Like coinbase or bitstamp, not sure why the program can't.
Can you manually access the URL's that Awesome Miner trying to connect to? If you try to open the following in your web browser - does it give valid information back?
https://www.bitstamp.net/api/ticker/
https://api.coinbase.com/v2/prices/spot
http://www.whattomine.com/coins.json

If that is working from your web browser, but not from Awesome Miner, it sounds like you have some kind of security software, web proxy or firewall that is preventing Awesome Miner from making these connections.
3970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 15, 2017, 05:30:31 AM
I have noticed AM seems to convey information through the net so if your net connection goes down, all the rigs disconnect (although this might be a form of DRM). While it makes sense you wouldn't be mining offline (except for some really weird coins), you still need to manage your rigs in event of a internet disconnect, such as shutting down miners that don't stop mining when there is nothing to work on.

If your connection is sporadic enough it could be causing the rigs to show up offline. If this is DRM you could just make all the options available except starting the miner.
It's only when you enter your registration code the first time you are required to have an Internet connection. After that, the Internet connection is only used to get coin/profit statistics and information about new versions. There is no need for having an Internet connection for the monitoring to work - but as you point out, the Internet connection is of course important for the the actual mining software to connect to the pool.

In your scenario, did you verify that it was only the Internet connection itself that went down, and no other network issues either on or between Awesome Miner and the Remote Agent application? From an Awesome Miner point of view, this is just a simple TCP/IP connection, so as long as you can establish TCP/IP connections between the computers, it shouldn't be a problem.

Did you verify the connectivity with ping only, or did you verify if other applications on the computer running Awesome Miner where able to make connections to a remote computer where the Remote Agent is running?

Anyone else having issues right now?

Shows 2 of my rigs Disconnected in Awesome Miner, yet they are hashing away just fine.

Can ping my rig that shows connected, can't ping the rigs that show disconnected.

Maybe reboot router/hub?

Well that screwed everything, had to go back and reset every damn rig in Awesome Miner.

Lol.

Guess I need to set static local IP's on each rig.
I'm still not sure if I fully understand the scenario here. Was the problem related to that you had miners that had dynamic IP, and the IP changed all of a sudden?

Can you give some more details. ASIC or GPU mining? Which mining software? Did it just stop working all of a sudden?
Can you please select a miner and click the toolbar button: Tools -> API Report. This can give an indication about any problems.

Hello,

have you thought about your remote agents to report via a post to the server instead of a pull?

I have a windows node that does not have a public IP address but my main Server does.
It would be nice if the agent software would have a field where I can specify the server IP address and it pulls the config every x minutes and reports back stats every x minutes ...

Daniel
I understand the scenario you describe, but right now there are no such plans. Can you find another solution by having some kind of VPN between the systems?

Can you add the ability to chose the coins prices and order shown on the bottom of the main app please?
Sure - that's on the roadmap

Hello Patrike,
Would it be possible when we update the desktop app that it reaches out to all known remote agents that are online and attempts to update them to the matching version?
Hi. What is supported is to select multiple Managed Miners in the main window, and click the Upgrade Remote Service button in the toolbar. Although this isn't an automatic operation, you can at least make upgrades of many Remote Agents in a single operation.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I upgraded to 3.0.5, and my rig that is mining Zencash is now showing that it's an "unspecified equihash" coin that it's mining, so it doesn't show me any coin statistics.  I went back into the pool settings to verify that it's specified as mining the "Zencash (ZEN)" coin.

Any ideas what might be going on there?

Which mining software is this? Claymore Zcash or EWBF?

EWBF.
I do know that the latest EWBF miner version, introduced in Awesome Miner 3.0.5, can report pool URL via the API for the first time. Can you try to select the miner, then the Pools tab, select the pool and then click the "Define Coin" button. What if you specify Zencash here - does it work?
3976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 14, 2017, 07:23:55 PM
I don't know if this has been reported before, but the minimize button has a really strange click area.  You can only click the top 20% or so of the button, the last 80% or so doesn't respond to minimize the main app.
Yes, that's a bit ugly behavior. I can't fix it myself as it's part of the UI component library I'm using. I will upgrade to the latest version of that library at some point.
3977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 14, 2017, 07:21:59 PM
I know yall mentioned that whattomine doesnt have skein coins to determine profitability of the coins on zpool, but what about taking the profitability info from the api from zpool? currently i have been using nemominer and it can detect when skein coins are profitable.. which is about half the time compared to other coins for use Nvidia card owners... just would hate to loose skein mining, because some days i get as much as $19/card on that algo... when the coins are hot, unfortunately lately dgb has been suffering.. so been stuck on blake2s mostly
I'm adding zpool Skein in the next release, both on the Online Services tab and to the profit switcher.
3978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 14, 2017, 07:16:42 PM
I was under impression they must have API because i use their multipoolminer. So i digged into the files and found that.
Now i am super excited for the new super Awesomeminer. Nicehash, zpool, miningpoolhub...all in one interface!  Wink
Right now I do have a large number of features to implement, but I will for sure investigate this one.
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 13, 2017, 07:43:53 PM
Can anyone provide guidance on how to use miningpoolhub (specifically, the "auto profit switching") with Awesome Miner?

I want to automatically do profit-switching, with miningpoolhub, mostly because it allows me to get paid in either the coin I'm mining or in a specific coin (ie - auto convert to ETH instead of to BTC).  BTC fees are way too high so I don't really want to earn profits in BTC like from nicehash or zpool.

This is the help page on miningpoolhub:  https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=gettingstarted
You will not be able to use miningpoolhub profit switcher in combintion with Awesome Miner profit switcher. In order for the Awesome Miner profit switcher to work, the profitability information must be known. For services like Nicehash and zpool, they provides API's where Awesome Miner can get this information. For single coin pools, Awesome Miner can also calculate the profitability.

For miningpoolhub, it doesn't look like they have any API, so for Awesome Miner this is a pool with unknown profitability.

You can of course use Awesome Miner without profit switching to mine on this pool, and use the profit switcher of the pool, but you cannot combine the profit switchers.

In Awesome Miner, do I create a 'pool group' where I manually add all the algorithm servers and ports?

ie -

Pool1: lyra2z : us-east.lyra2z-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12025
Pool2: cryptonight : us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12024
Pool3: equihash : us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12023
...etc

You define this as three separate Pools in Awesome Miner, and then you define a Group Pool that includes all of them. Then you can use this Group Pool from a Managed Miner.

I am not a programmer but what do you think about this http://miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=api&action=getminingandprofitsstatistics.
Thanks! I did search both their main page and help page for "api" without finding anything, so I just assumed they didn't have an API. But you are of course correct here and I will take a look if this could be added to Awesome Miner.
3980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: June 13, 2017, 07:31:18 PM
Just to make sure I understand you, if you select a console tab and auto refresh is enabled, it will refresh, but it wont if the tab isn't active? That sounds good if that's the case. You wouldn't want hundreds of miners to refresh in the background.
You will never end up with many refresh processes like that. The feature can never refresh more than a single miner no matter how you configure it or what you do. The only difference in the last release is that when you change miner selection, it will refresh the console right away for that miner if the auto-feature is enabled.
