Is it possible to monitor GPU solomining with this?
You can only get hashrate and mining information if you use any of the supported mining software. However, Awesome Miner will always be able to show GPU monitoring information for you. See screenshot below for an example of what you always get on the System tab, no matter what mining software you run or if you do solo mining. This works on all remote systems as well where you have Awesome Miner Remote Agent running.

3822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 28, 2017, 10:42:55 AM
Awesome Miner profit mining really needs benchmark adjustments. When my rig is mining ETH solely using claymore I get 84 MH/s. When it is mining ETH+SC I get only 56 MH/s ETH. There is no way the 1670 MH/s SC compensates for a loss of nearly 30 MH/s ETH. Awesome Miner needs to consider the actual performance on single algos and performance for each combination of dual algos for each a rig to determine what is better profit. MPM out performs AM in this respect because it applies combination benchmark results to determine which is combination is higher profit.

For now I need to completely disable dual coin profit mining. How do I do that?
Benchmarking and improvements to the profit switcher are on the list of features to implement.

To disable dual mining in the Claymore miner, you can provide the command line parameter "-mode 1". To do this for the profit switcher, go to Options dialog, Profit profile section, edit your profile, select the Claymore Ethereum miner and click configure. Add the command line parameter here.

After update to 3.2.1 Dev, executable wouldn't load, had to downgrade back to 3.2
any timeframe on the fix?
Please send me the log file (toolbar: Tools -> Log file, or in folder: %localappdata%\AwesomeMiner) and I will investigate why it failed to load for you.
3824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor Cgminer & Sgminer on: July 28, 2017, 05:47:50 AM
I will investigate if future versions of the Awesome Miner Remote Service can be used to forward the connections to other miners, like your Antminers, on the same remote network

Has this ever been implemented?

I'm getting a few antminers on a remote network where I don't have control of the router so I can't port forward.

Otherwise, can I install the manager on a machine in that remote network and still use the manager in the local network? Would the local one be able to use the data that it gets from the remote manager?
It's not implemented because VPN is often a better solution when you connect to multiple miners on a remote site.

Although you can connect multiple Awesome Miner applications to the same Antminers, you cannot connect one Awesome Miner instance to another Awesome Miner.

It sounds like you are allowed to install software on the remote site, so my recommendation is to install VPN software in this scenario.
3825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:52:31 PM
Hello,

Profit switching is not correct in change for me.

If I stop manually and I start, it choose the most advantageous in "Online Services"
The automatic switch changes but remains, always or almost always, on the same algorithm.

I have a hard understanding how auto-profit works

Thanks.
I have identified a problem based on the logs from another user. However, do confirm that it's the same, could you share some details on which mining software and algorithm that was running, and which one it was expected to switch to?
3826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:47:18 PM
Has anyone gotten the remote managed miners to work?

I installed Awesome Miner Remote v3.2 on all my rigs, then i went under network scan and found them all under detect via Awesome Miner Remote and setup the same settings as i do mining the software directly on the Awesome Miner software and then press start..... nothing happens on any of the machines.. the buttons across the top go greyed out all except reboot..... so i seem to be stuck at this point... I have rebooted them, press start again and nothing but greying out the buttons occurs.....

So i added all my rigs under me using network scan again, but using detect via ccminer, this works perfectly if im mining on these rigs with my old batch file method, but if i setup the pool and miner in the awesome miner software and run the exact same ccminer as my old batch file uses, it starts up and starts mining on the pool, but the awesome miner computer (my pc in the house) says disconnect... but if i stop mining on awesome miner, start the old batch miner up they come online via the pc im trying to monitor them from...

I still am trying to figure out how to setup port forward on the 2 remote locations i have my other rigs located, it seems to be an issue with the modems being used, because using an online port checker shows the ports still blocked even tho in modem im setting them up to port forward..... sigh

The fact that the version is listed in the status column indicates that there are different version on Awesome Miner main application and the Remote Agent. Could it be that you run v3.2.1 on the main application and 3.2 on the Remote Agent? If that's the case, I recommend to upgrade the Remote Agent to the same version before trying anything else.
3827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:45:36 PM
I have the pro license and today my electricity went down for an hour.

Once the electricity was back up my rigs did boot up but the awesome miner did not try to restart the miners. They all where in "stopped" state.

Once my electricity came back, it powered my modem/routers but this takes a couple of minutes before I'm back online.

Awesome miner must have tried to start the processes but since it failed to mine ( no internet connection YET ) it stopped after a couple of retries.

After 3 ( i think ) retries awesomeMiner stops retrying and we have to manually start the miner process on each rig.

Is there a way to make it try to start the miner process undefinately in a forever loop ?

Thank for the support.
Awesome Miner will start all Managed Miners where "Autostart" has been checked. This could probably be improved by automatically doing it for exactly those miners that were running at the time of the crash.

You can define a rule (Options dialog, Rules section) that triggers when a miner has 3 failed start attempts. As an action, you could as a Miner command to start the miner again.
3828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:41:06 PM

Thanks bud, that actually fixed the issue and its up and running, now to move onto the next issue ill run into lol... tell you learn its all a mystery

Do you know if there is a way to add additional pools under online services?

Also, is their an ability to manually add the api for coin info? like i tried to add Signatum, i can manually add the values... but then i have to keep updating it manually....

Online services: they seems to be hardcoded, I found no way to add a new service.

Api coin info: AM already checks whattomine to get coin statistics, I don't know if it uses WTM also for custom coins (SIGT is available at WTM).
For revenue calculations, AM can get statistics from pool, but again I don't know if it works also for custom coins, I never tried, sorry.
This has been addressed in development version 3.2.1 where you can add new algorithms and online services as you want. For example the new skunk algorithm on zpool. However, don't try to add the coin Signatum as a user defined coin, because it's not included in the API from WhatToMine.com yet (but it's listed on their web site if you go to coins tab). Instead, when you create the pool, define the coin as "Unspecified skunk" based on the new algorithm. Awesome Miner should be able to figure out the profit information based on this.
3829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:38:39 PM

Here is the settings i have for the pool....When i put in the Suprnova server url, i get a a popup to put the worker name in the wallet address, so i did at first. Tried to connect and i just get stratum authentication error, only way i can get it to actually connect is via placing it in both areas, but it never mines.. it just receives blocks and the gpu sit at 0% load....

Hello.

My pool settings with suprnova for zen:

Description:  Suprnova Zencash
Server URL:  stratum+tcp://zen.suprnova.cc:3618
Worker name:  weblogin.worker
Worker password:  x
Coin:  Zencash
Wallet address:

(wallet address field is empty)

It works.
Has suprnova change the behavior recently? When I read the instructions on the web site for Zencash (https://zen.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted) it says the following for Claymore:
Code:
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool  zen.suprnova.cc:3618 -zwal YourUsername.YourWorker -zpsw YourWorkerPass -allpools 1
This indicates that the wallet should be "YourUsername.YourWorker". For non-Claymore based zcash miners, it will probably work fine with setting it as Worker name as you did above.

I'm not saying you should change back to something that doesn't work, I just try to interpret the suprnova instructions.
3830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 27, 2017, 06:31:28 PM
Does anyone have an example on how to get started with the C# interfaces? I've been doing C# for a couple years but getting started with new tools is always a problem..

EDIT: Grrr the documentation appears to be totally out of date. The documented example of

Code:
    private ContextProvider Context = ScriptManager.Context;

Says that SriptManager does not exist. I even tried referencing all the AwesomeMiner DLLs in addition to the ScriptInterface. Nada. Hopefully dev can reply soon..
Bumping to next page.. still stuck Sad
I'm not able to reproduce this problem. When you create either a Trigger Script or and Action Script, you already get this out of the box. Example for a newly created Action script:
Code:
public class ActionScript
{
private ContextProvider Context = ScriptManager.Context;

public bool Execute(List<IMinerBase> list)
{
return true;
}

}

This one compiles just fine when I click Validate Syntax. Did you try the same?

Sorry for stupid question, but I can't find the tutorial about it. I have few rigs on Linux, how can I connect and manage them with Awesome Miner? Thanks!
Linux miners are added as External Miner:

I think the configuration is correct. You cannot change any of the default columns. They just indicate what value (Enabled, Disable or algorithm argument) that will be used if you don't configure a user defined value. If you specify your own value, your value will be used instead of the default value. The default value itself will not change and cannot be modified.

So if you specify "Enabled", this algorithm will be enabled no matter what the default value was. Similar for "Command line argument" column. You cannot modify the default, but you should be able to modify the User defined, and that one will be used no matter what the default was.

I will see if I can change the column headers to make this more clear.
Ok, I understand now, thanks.
I think the colums we can't change, should be gray. It might be easier to understand.

Edit: I can mine with this new algo but I can't add it in "Profit profile".
Save hashrate don't work too.
Have I forgotten anything?

Thanks.
I've fixed the problem with Save Hashrate for user defined algorithms. This will be included in the next release.

Very good Patrike, your work is HIGHLY appreciated !  Wink

I have a little problem with this version.
I add a new algo "Tribus" and I want to add in managed software.

The problem is that the status never change to "enable" and I can't modify the "Default command line argument".

Thanks for your support.

Awesome Miner won't start after installing the update.....
Update: nvm, got it working by removing the custom coins and algos.

Would you consider adding chaincoin, dgb for other algorithm like skein, and new skunk algorithm for SIGT??
Thanks for trying out the new development version. I will try to reproduce the scenario you describe, but it would also be very helpful if you could send me the log file via E-mail. The log file can be found in the toolbar: Tools -> Log File.
3835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 24, 2017, 10:07:35 AM
Hello!

Thanks for the work with AM. I've been trying it for a couple of days and I'm impressed with it. I'm using it to emulate the NHM client because AM offers way more flexibility and more algorithms than the official NHM client.
Thanks for your feedback. I'm providing comments of some of the items below. In general I use this kind of feedback to prioritize the future development of Awesome Miner.

From what I empirically understand, the hash rate of the Profit Profiles is the sum of the hash rates of all GPUs (or profiles if using group profiles). So, if I have 2 GTX1060 my effective hash rate is 40.6 MH/s (instead of the default 20.3 MH/s). I did some quick calculations comparing the NHM benchmarks and it seems that this is the case. From these calculations I've noticed that the way AM calculates Dual Mining profitability seems incorrect. I say this because there's no place to write down the custom hash rate for the dual mining (ETH+DCR / ETH+PASC / ETH+LBC / ETH+SC), only the hash rate for ETH and the other coins separately. The problem with this is that ClaymoreDual will never run the second coin at full speed, but only at a fraction of the speed without sacrificing ETH speed (adjusted by the -dcri value), so simply adding the ETH profitability plus other coin profitability will place dual mining higher than it really is.

To confirm this I wrote down the speed of the second coin benchmarks from the NHM client in the coin speed in AM. After doing this the profitability values of both clients were pretty close and dual mining in AM started to reflect the actual speed of the ClaymoreDual miner. So, my suggestion is to define the speeds for dual mining separately from the rest of the algorithms and make the profit calculations for dual mining based on these speeds. The speed of the other coins is now too low just to make dual mining calculations work correctly.
The dual mining hashrate configuration is a bit limited. I agree that this area could be improved.

On another topic, it would be nice if we could had the option to hide the console for the managed profit miners. I've seen this option is available for the normal managed miners.
At the moment the configuration available for the Managed Profit Miners is a bit limited, because the original idea was that the profit switching feature should be as simple as possible. I might be adding more features in an Advanced section in the future.

I also found an issue with Nist5 algo, every time it runs I get an "Invalid GPU parameters" or something like that. I tried it with CcMiner SP-mod and CcMiner-Alexis. While this happened, I noticed the miner restarting several times until it finally stopped but didn't start again. It would be better if AM switched to the next profitable algorithm and try again in a few minutes instead of completely stopping.
I actually don't know how to get Nist5 to work with ccminer in these scenarios, and I've had similar reports for other users. A workaround is to simply disable Nist5 algorithm in Awesome Miner. Maybe ccminer 2.x solves this?

Another issue I found is with grouping profiles. I made a profile with the hash rates for 1 GTX1060. This profile have SHA-256 disabled (and other difficult algos too). Then I made a group, added this profile and chose 2 (for my 2 GTX1060). Everything works as it should, except in the Coins and Online Services tab. If I choose the GTX1060 profile in this tab, all the services update correctly and make calculations based on 1 GTX1060, but if I choose the group I made early (2 GTXT1060) then the SHA-256 goes to the top with a high profit. Remember that I disabled this algorithm and even put its hash rate at 0 MH/s. (screenshots)
This might be a display bug - I will take a look.
3836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 24, 2017, 06:48:24 AM
Awesome Miner Development Version 3.2.1 (Preview of 3.3 - Not for production use)

- More flexible algorithm configuration. New algorithms can be defined by user and configured for each mining software.
- More flexible Online Service and profit switching configuration.
- Managed Software can be added and API compatibility can be specified
- Profit switching improvements, including configuration to disable individual algorithms per pool.
- Web interface includes secondary hashrate if available, coin information in smart phone mode and corrections to notification display in multi-user environments.
- HTTP API adds operations on single notifications and includes Group Id information for miners
- Custom e-mail address can be set for a notification action, to override the global e-mail address to send notifications to
- New algorithms added
- Ccminer 2.1 replaces older Ccminer SP-mod
- Corrections to SMTP library to support Office 365 accounts

Important: The Remote Agent must also be upgraded.

Development Previews can be enabled from the Options dialog, General section. Then Menu -> Check for updates.

The main idea of the new version is to be much more flexible in configuration of algorithms, pools and mining software. You should be able to add any number of additional algorithms, add new pools (like zpool and more) for these algorithms, and then configure the mining software to use the new algorithms.

The screenshot belows shows how you can customize ccminer. If you add your own algorithm, it will show up in the list and you will be able to specify the command line argument that ccminer would expect for this algorithm.

The configuration of Online Services, where you can customize the existing and also add new Nicehash/Zpool/MPH pools on your own. If a new algorithm is supported on Zpool, just add it in the Algorithms section first, then go in here and add it for Zpool.

The general concept is to have less hardcoded setting in Awesome Miner, and make them configurable as illustrated below. This gives the power users more flexibility and a better understanding of what's going on.
3837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 24, 2017, 06:36:44 AM
At timecode 21:43 i switched the monitor on/moved the mouse and the system crushes.
After that the miner startet automaticaly and tries to begin again but the "mining dos windows" opens,
closes, stop - windows opens, closes, stop... at the end awesome miner stops complete after severals turns.

can anybody see whats wrong:

What went wrong?!
If i start the mining manual just hitting the start button and all goes correct?Huh
I think you need to compare if there are any differences in the command line that is used to start the mining software. If the software is already running, you will find this if you click the View Details button.

Awesome man. Couldn't imagine that miners can be managed so easily. The software looks completely equipped with information that is needed to track by miners. Loving your screenshots and must be very interactive to look at it when it is live. You have produced everything in details. Nice job!
Thanks!
3839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 22, 2017, 05:01:14 PM
The miner is too awesome for me Cheesy

So pls, can u see what iam doing wrong?!
Only the zen coin is startet to mine...

First i config my pools - for the beginning only the suprnovas
https://ibb.co/m93yzk
(Walletadress is my account.workername, workers are set at the pool online ofecourse)

Then i fill in the hashingnumbers which i know or estimate
https://ibb.co/c4Jns5

And at least i define a custom miner for SIB and LBRY
https://ibb.co/h1NrKk

And if i start the awesome miner it will only mine zen???
Regardless what coin is on top of my custom coin list.
(custom profit profile is active)
The Generic Miner concept is currently not supported for Profit switching. A Generic Miner is a miner where you need to specify every single command line option yourself, because Awesome Miner doesn't even know what the parmeters should look like for setting the pool and so on. In your case it might work better if you use Ccminer as the mining software.

I'm currently doing implementation in this area, so there will be improvements and more flexibility here soon.
3840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: July 22, 2017, 04:56:36 PM
i had a computer crash and when i restarted it and loaded Awesome Miner i seem to have lost all my settings, it start off like a brand new install, is there a way to get my settings  back ?, i have hours and hours of setups and fine tunning..
The main configuration file is ConfigData.xml located in %appdata%\AwesomeMiner folder. In this folder you also have two backup files, ConfigData.xml.tmp and ConfigData.xml.bck. The idea is that if a file becomes corrupt, Awesome Miner will still be able to recover your settings using the other files.

What you can do is to send me all your configuration files and also the log file (from toolbar: Tools -> Log File). With this information I might be able to tell what happend and maybe even recover your settings.

It's very uncommon that you get multiple corrupt files on disk, which is why in almost all crashing scenarios, Awesome Miner can recover.
