Awesome Miner is almost always getting good feedback for the easy and powerful UI and features. Please let me know if there any specific areas that needs improvements. Uptime is being display on the Summary tab, so it's basically the first thing you see when you click on a miner. It will say "Running: 4 hours, 23 minutes" for example. |

ethminer.exe doesn't work with awesome miners yet ?
Ethminer is something I'm looking into, but there are no software with good API yet and also some different mods of ethminer. Any specific version you prefer? |

Man this is awesome like the name says , i tried the free version i think a year ago wasn't really impressed then so i gave it another try a few days , I was sold to the point i bought the PRO version for now .
it needs more features added or tweaked but it is awesome or more then i really thought .

I purchased the professional edition today. I have 20 bitcoin miners on the same pool, and it says I can only monitor 10? Am I doing something wrong?
According to web site, Professional allows 10 and Premium allows 20. That's correct. It's also possible to upgrade from Professional to Premium (or any other edition) once you need more miners. |

On adding miners... how do I get past Cgminer to add ccminer please? Thx  EDIT: Right now I'm trying to add nicehash and 2 multipools.  Hi, Ccminer doesn't provide any good API's that can be used by Awesome Miner to do monitoring. This is the reason why Cgminer support is much better. However, you can still add a Managed Miner of type Ccminer in Awesome Miner and get some features. When adding a new miner, in the "Software" list you simply select Ccminer instead of Cgminer. |

So far I am liking the software, there are a couple of small glitches and a couple of small things that could be changed to make it better. Overall I am very happy with AwesomeMiner.

Can't even download this. "the signature of this file is corrupt or invalid"
Awesome Miner uses a digital signature, and with the latest Windows Updates from Microsoft, these signatures had to be updated as well. Can you please check out the new version (v1.5.1) of Awesome Miner on the web site and see if it works better: http://www.awesomeminer.com/download.aspxIf it doesn't work with the new MSI installer, you will have to check if you have an outdated security software running on your computer that doesn't allow a standard digitally signed MSI file to execute. |

The software looks good. I have 2 requests/issues. First I would love to buy a stripped down version for BTC mining only, obviously at a lower price point. Secondly, I wish the the options to purchase were different. Obviously the jump from 40 to 200 is to get more money from the large farms but some people have a lot of little miners and $600 is priced a little high.
I know I would buy it in a minute if I could get a license for 100 miners for BTC only +/- scripting with a price point of about $200.
Overall it looks great.
Thanks for the feedback. Pricing is always a difficult topic. What is important to remember is that 100 miners can also be a much larger investment - for example if you buy 100 Antminer S7 you will have to pay $94000 for the hardware. An Awesome Miner license to monitor them (up to 200 miners actually) has a price point of $600. In this scenario to software cost is a very small part of the entire investment. Having said that, I fully understand your point about the case when you have many smaller miners, where the number of them also are closer to 40 than to 200. It's technically possible for me to provide a license with a 100 miner limit, so we should be able to find a better solution for your setup. Can you please contact me by e-mail? Thanks! |

Nice work wee are setting up the network on bitclouder.co and in the future i will buy the software for 500 machines, your Awesome miner can do scan on 192.X.X.X ? and monitor all? Yes, you just enter the IP address range you want to scan, for example 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.5.255, and Awesome Miner will add all those miners that are found to the list of miners to monitor. Then they are all monitored and you can control them by selecting one (or many, or all) and perform operations. |

Hope the issue mentioned here can be fixed in the next version. Other ideas - It would be nice to be able to choose what algorithms are displayed in Online Services (i.e. hide uninteresting ones) An option for the home user with 4 or less miners to have C# scripting without upgrading to Premium edition (maybe $40 price point) auto update of balance choice of local currency for balance choice of local currency for power cost ability to hide coins of no interest ability to disable worker name suffix in pool configuration Keep up the good work, I really like the program. Thanks for all comments - I will look into the issue you linked to as well. For the local currency, there is already a feature for this in Awesome Miner Options dialog, Coins section. Can you please try to set Display currency to custom and defined a name and value (compared to USD). I will add the posibility to hide coins in next release already. Hi, It's true that I've not been active on Bitcointalk for some time because of the lower interest in mining and mining software in the community. Since the beginning of the month, mining is getting more popular again and I can see an increasing interest in Awesome Miner based on all e-mail messages I'm receiving. Even if this thread has been silent for a while, there have been many active e-mail conversations, to ensure that Awesome Miner users get support. Now when mining is getting more popular again, I will also be more active in this thread. I just ordered this app for 40$ license... no suport yet and i am getting some "miner offline" status notification but my miners are online.
Any help on this?
Just disable the notification for offline detection under Options - Rules and don't expect any support from author on here. Ok.. i bought the license for this shit with notification email This is a topic we have been discussing by e-mail the last week, and thanks to the log file you provided, I was able to find the problem with the Offline notifications. I've sent you yet another message, this time with instructions how to apply the patch for this issue. The correction for this problem will also be included in next release of Awesome Miner. I was very interested in this software until I found out it is in a crippled state until you pay for it. Why not do what most companies do these days and give a free trial for 30 days, or even 14 days then cripple it? So we can see if it works with everything. I couldn't even add my SP10 because I couldn't find a field to enter the user/pw. Does it even support remote miners via http? It is very sharp looking and informative. Right now I'm using M's Miner Monitor which has been working good.
Hi, There are mainly three feature that isn't included in the free version; notifications, built-in web and c# scripting. There is also a limit on the number of miners you can add of course. The idea was to include almost everything in the free version, to let users try out most parts of the applications. I fully understand that sometimes you want to try out everything. I do get these requests, and I have been given away temporary registration codes (that can be revoked later) to users to make it possible from them to try all features and add many more miners. Please contact me by e-mail I can provide you with a temporary registration code that you can use to test everything. I know that there are users with SP10 miners that uses Awesome Miner. I'm not fully sure if I understood your question about remote miners via HTTP. What Awesome Miner is doing is to connect to the Cgminer API of the miner, typically running on port 4028 (that is not HTTP). Are you adding your SP10 miner as an External Miner is Awesome Miner? |

I do have another question. I only have need of the standard edition atm but may increase the number of miners i run in the near future. Can the program be upgraded for a cost difference or does the next edition need to be purchased in full?
Also, in user defined coins, can it pull current coin stats from coinwarz with api?
It's fully possible to upgrade between the editions, and only paying for the price difference. Awesome Miner can connect to different coin statistics providers, including CoinWarz. If you select CoinWarz for statistics, all coins listed on CoinWarz will be made available in Awesome Miner automatically, so you don't have to add it manually. |
